Anchored in the lectionary readings for 4 Easter 3 May 20: Acts 2:42-47

Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Patheos (22 Apr 20): Paul Did Not Want Us to Be Idle | What “Freedom From Fear” Actually Means

Francis Frangipane (26 Apr 20): As though Jesus were reading a news summary of recent years, His prophecies of two thousand years ago clearly describe our times. Thus, we are compelled to discern accurately the significant era in which we live. Indeed, of the many prophetic fulfillments of our day, one in particular rises with undimmed candor. I am speaking of what the Bible calls the “apostasy.” You will recall Paul’s warning:[1]

“Let no one in any way deceive you, for [the day of the Lord] will not come unless the apostasy comes first.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

Warning Against the Adulterous Woman

Proverbs My son, keep my words
and store up my commands within you.
Keep my commands and you will live;
guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
Bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.

Rahmiel-Hayyim Drizin: “You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind.” (Lev. 19:14) [This verse is to be understood] according to its literal meaning, yet…has [also] been explained to refer to one who causes another to sin [for instance, one who profers a cup of wine to a nazerite], including one who strikes his grown son [for he may cause his son to hit him back without thinking]. “nor put a stumbling block before the blind” [also includes] one who has not yet reached the level to render Halachic decisions, yet does so, as is written: “For she has cast down many woundedmany strong men have been slain by her“. (Prov. 7:26) This person [who has not yet reached the level to render Halachic decisions, yet does so] transgresses against, “nor put a stumbling block before the blind” because he caused the other to stumble on an obstacle before the World to Come [by rendering a mistaken Halachic decision, which this man followed and thus blemished his portion in the World to Come]. (Mo’ed Katan 17a)[2]

Definition of Halachic = Jewish law and jurisprudence, based on the Talmud

Proverbs 7:Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
and to insight, “You are my relative.”
They will keep you from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words.

Francis Frangipane (26 Apr 20): The apostasy has traditionally been described as a time of deception and massive falling away from authentic faith in Christ. Depending upon your specific view, sometime before or after the apostasy the rapture of the Church will occur. However, the concept of apostasy as merely “a falling away” is incomplete. The original Greek word for apostasy, apostasia, when used in classical Greek literature, meant “a political revolt.” From this we understand that the End Time apostasy is not just a time of sinfulness or large scale backsliding; it is actually a time of open defiance and warlike aggression against divine moral foundations. In other words, the apostasia is a political insurrection against the laws of God.

Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Apr 20): THERE ARE NO OPEN DOORS OF ANY SORT – LEGAL OR NOT – IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): “I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter shaped it into another pot, shaping it as it seemed best to him.” – Jeremiah 18:3-4 (NIV)

Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 5:35 pm     Prayer: Lord, I checked my inbox after being out all day and praying.  There is more silence.  Does Adam think I am just another nutcase?  I am Your messenger.  I am caught in this stupid web and I cannot move.  Chuck wants us to shed any offense, but there is still no accountability to right the wrongs.  Christians are sooooo very fond of saying, “We WIN in the End!” but they do not understand that without the help of Israel unlocking the puzzle of the Great Rebellion, we don’t win.  We need Israel to win this cosmic war.

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): It was never about you.  It wasn’t about you staying too long or letting them hurt you.  It wasn’t about you not trying hard enough, or not responding with enough love and respect.  It has always and only ever been about this: They simply thought that it was okay to abuse you.  Nobody ever deserves that.

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): All of this Arc Speak, deception, cloak and dagger one minute and then gushy, fluffy love the next just fortifies the Rebellion and then they justify it in the name of winning God’s kingdom.  Lord, You made the covenant with Israel!  Help them to break this toxic web that is making me physically ill and spiritually sick.  My exposing more bullshit doesn’t do a nit of good when they pretend they don’t read it and despise the least among them.  Help Israel to see!  They purportedly have the most sophisticated techno-savvy in the world, but they cannot see the scandal?

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): A lot matters about how we choose to connect to the so-called least of these. Be careful of the Messiah complex, but not of relationship with the Messiah.

Proverbs 7:At the window of my house
I looked down through the lattice.
I saw among the simple,
I noticed among the young men,
a youth who had no sense.
He was going down the street near her corner,
walking along in the direction of her house
at twilight, as the day was fading,
as the dark of night set in.

BeRahamim LeHayyim: How difficult is the path of Torah! Or perhaps, how simple?! For everything we ever need to learn, we learned by age 7. Do nice things to others, say nice things to others, try to think nice thoughts about others. But we make our life and relationships difficult. Above we are warned about (1) speaking negatively of others and shaming them, (2) causing your children to react negatively to you, and (3) learning Torah for self-gain. All are problematic.

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): They said they yelled because you were getting irrational. Would you do that to someone who was hurting?

Brat (29 Apr 20): I joined on Facebook the Chaplains Center for Veterans and their Families

Gene Russo (27 Apr 20): Jesus made it possible for us to enter into the kingdom of God through His blood and flesh. He is our great high priest to God.

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): The potter was just making a pot. We are making a life. Some of us are even trying to follow Jesus in that life. His direction is to allow us to allow ourselves to be shaped by the poor or naked or feeble. When did we see an outsider and not see Jesus in them?

Acts 2:43 Awe came upon everyone, because many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles.

Rabbi Simon Jacobson (via Ascent): In Talmudic times 24,000 students of Rabbi Akiva died during this period “for not showing respect to one another”. (Yevamot 62b) We therefore honor this “mourning period” by avoiding celebrations that can be scheduled at other times. (Tur and Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim 493:1)

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): You told us not to despise the least among us, but that is all I have known from all of them.  I know You as love.  I know You are faithful to keep Your promises.  I also know the Rebellion to keep their promises the same on their dark end.

Rahmiel-Hayyim Drizin: “Stumbling Blocks Before the Blind”

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): Freedom is the ability to choose our own bondage. By what shapes will we be formed? How will we become beautiful and useful? Who will tell us who we are? The least of these can bring out the best in us. Jesus suggests an awesome failure and an even more awesome engagement with human reality. He isn’t looking for sourpusses here. He is looking for free choice, happily made.

Proverbs 7:10 Then out came a woman to meet him,
dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent.
11 (She is unruly and defiant,
her feet never stay at home;
12 now in the street, now in the squares,
at every corner she lurks.)
13 She took hold of him and kissed him
and with a brazen face she said:

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): Are we more shaped or are we more shapers? Who is in charge of us? Our peers? Our context? Our bosses? Ourselves? Or better put, which part of multiple influences actually directs us?

Israel Blind and Deaf

Isaiah 42: 18 “Hear, you deaf;
look, you blind, and see!

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): Adam is a trained investigator.  Help him to hear and see what is going on!

Charisma (29 Apr 20): Have you found a reliable source to get your Israel news?

Isaiah 42: 19 Who is blind but my servant,
and deaf like the messenger I send?
Who is blind like the one in covenant with me,
blind like the servant of the Lord?

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): When it feels like it is (or was) about you, consider these questions:

Brat to Adam in FB message (28 Apr 20): Why are you silent with me, my friend?

Adam: Sorry. I have been very busy. tomorrow is a holiday and the kids are home

I am not sure what to make of your email

Me: That’s a place to start.  It’s the silence that makes this situation unbearable.

Charisma (29 Apr 20): Remember this day…Israel is free!

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): The Potter’s Wheel

Christopher Johnson (28 Apr 20): Here’s how to stand out from the competition

Rick Joyner (28 Apr 20): Even in the most godly, moral society there will be some who deviate. Because both the media reporting current events and historians reporting past ones give the most attention to the extremes rather than the norm, history covers the extremes and not the normal. For this reason, we get a distorted picture of the times even from the most honest reporters or historians. They may be reporting the extremes accurately, but the extremes are not the overall reality of the times.

Brat (27 Apr 20): Last night I wrote out a prayer in my PRIVATE journal (which I had not shared with anyone).  This morning there is a surge of Arc Speak to public pieces.  Proverbs 7 talks about the warning against the adulterous woman.

How do they do this?

Rabbi Simon Jacobson: Their fate is equally, if not even more disturbing: Disrespect is awful. But why did it cause them to all die? Isn’t that a bit harsh of a punishment for this crime?

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): They said they lied because you can’t handle the truth. What made them think they were the expert on your abilities?

Gene Russo (27 Apr 20): REMINDER- You must be BORN AGAIN to get into the presence of the Father… but look how much God accomplished through Christ (Messiah) for us

Pastor Steve Dittmar (28 Apr 20): Told to wait, they entered into prayer. For ten days they prayed and listened. They read scripture and became illuminated inside the truth they were reading. Jesus had ascended to heaven and now was being revealed in their hearts through the truth in His word.[3]

Brat to John-Paul and Annie (28 Apr 20): Even if the knots were untied in this twisted web of my life, even if there was someone who believed me, even if I had a comrade in my corner, it still wouldn’t be worth a nit without a friend to receive AND respond to the message and treat me like a real human being.  Where are the questions?  Where does one answer when a question is posed?  To an autoresponder?  The Arc Speak over my head creates more knots and is detached and removed like spirits surfing the airwaves.  Mary knows.  There is no relationship when it is one-sided.  We have a relationship with God, but no one will reach out and back to me.  I have shared for ten years into the Holy Void and I cannot go on without a tribe.

John-Paul and Annie (28 Apr 20): I want you to know that Annie and I do our very best to read every email we get, but we may not be able to respond to you.

Gene Russo (27 Apr 20): Jesus holds two offices, High priest and Messiah (savior)

Brat (27 Apr 20): I shout out a Thank You to the kind chaplain that prayed with my brother, Dad and I at the VA Hospital in Los Angeles yesterday.  To all the vets who are looking for something to read that is engaging for the soul, I share the following blog: https://truthinus.wordpress.com/

Proverbs 7:14 “Today I fulfilled my vows,
and I have food from my fellowship offering at home.

Rabbi Dr. Eliezer Shore: Really, this is all a great test. For a person is never sentenced for his crimes until he first passes judgment upon himself. And since he will certainly not judge himself, they show him a person who did something similar. When he passes judgment upon the latter, he seals the judgment on himself, as well.

John-Paul and Annie (28 Apr 20): Because we receive thousands of emails, we are no longer able to keep up with all of them!

Brat to John-Paul and Annie (28 Apr 20): I have no tribe, and I know you are too busy to answer emails.  Regardless, I must attempt to try again to pierce the veil.

Rick Joyner (28 Apr 20): The Great Awakening was not birthed out of any denomination, and it united almost all churches in a special fellowship. This is a liberty of The Spirit that produces a fellowship that once experienced makes it hard to settle for anything less. The division among Christians has come mostly through leadership that starts to seek control more than maintaining the liberty of The Spirit. When this control is cast off, Christians tend to draw closer to God and one another because this is the true work of The Spirit. [4]

Brat: I still have no sanctuary after thirteen years, because I have no tribe.

USO (28 Apr 20): FW: They haven’t heard from you yet

Brat:  Yes, they have.

Rabbi Dr. Eliezer Shore: By not arousing judgment upon a sinner, who is overcome by his desires, you fulfill the verse “You shall not incline the judgment of your poor in his dispute” (Ex. 23:6). When trials and conflict overwhelm him (i.e. when he struggles against his own evil inclination) from the “waters of dispute” (Num. 20:13), i.e. evil and malicious waters, you should arouse favorable judgments upon him.

Rabbi Simon Jacobson: 24,000 students were destroyed in this period of time due to their inability to co-exist. Their fervent passion and their gifts were their undoing. We redeem their deaths during these 49 days by looking into our passionate hearts, and learning the art of restraint: That ultimate greatness is measured not by how right you are and by how great is your light, but by how you allowed that greatness to be contained and integrated into other people’s lives. [5]

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): You are not responsible for their thinking. You were never responsible for it. And how you coped or how long you stayed wasn’t responsible for it either.

Acts 2:42 (echo) They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): Chuck Pierce talks a fine talk about breaking cycles, but not once have I seen him step into his apostolic office to break the cycle the Funny Bunnies started in the first place.  Another outline or a prayer vigil is not going to bring restitution.  It won’t right the wrongs when there’s no contact.  So, why should I send him anything to his info@ address?  Why try again?  A leopard doesn’t change its spots.  Don’t throw pearls before… We’ve had a decade of me reaching out.  A one-sided relationship is NO relationship.  We are on two sides of the same verse: “Touch not my anointed.”  He’s got hands off.  “Do my prophets no harm.”  What harm is there when there’s no touch for ten years, or when there is, then the touching is groping, pawing, and spiritual rape, but they can claim they never touched Your prophet?

Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Apr 20): TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHETS NO HARM IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Proverbs 7: 15 So I came out to meet you;
I looked for you and have found you!
16 I have covered my bed
with colored linens from Egypt.
17 I have perfumed my bed
with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon.

Rabbi Simon Jacobson: How is it possible that such great students of such a great master should stoop to not respecting each other? Especially considering that their teacher, Rabbi Akiva taught that “love your fellow like yourself” is a “great fundamental in Torah”!

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): Light came in as I’ve learned to reframe in this way.

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): Prayer
Allow us, O God, to look up and down and all around and to finally get in our optimal spiritual shape.

Rabbi Simon Jacobson: The Torah portion of Shemini concludes a similarly mysterious event that took place three chapters back: After the Sanctuary was completed, the Torah tells us that the two elder sons of Aaron, Nadav and Avihu, “offered a strange fire before G‑d, which He had not commanded.” The result: “A fire went out from G‑d and consumed them, and they died before G‑d“. (Levit. 10:1-2) …

Proverbs 7:18 Come, let’s drink deeply of love till morning;
let’s enjoy ourselves with love!
19 My husband is not at home;
he has gone on a long journey.
20 He took his purse filled with money
and will not be home till full moon.”

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): Remember your last mission trip? Or your accompaniment with an undocumented person to court? Remember how you thought you were helping them only to find out they were helping you? That is the Jesus-shaped person’s common experience.

Brat (27 Apr 20): And I told God to take this mission and shove it?

Foursquare Leader Weekly with Huey Hudson (27 Apr 20): To fulfill the mission of the church, it is imperative that we depend on the Promised Helper. The mission is too great, and the souls of people are too precious, for God to entrust them solely into our care. So, God has given us the same Holy Spirit who dwelt in Jesus—the One who helped Him fulfill His mission.

Acts 2:44 All who believed were together and had all things in common;

Rabbi Simon Jacobson: Had these students been of lesser stature, their disrespect for each other would not have harmed them as much. But precisely because their minds were on fire and their hearts were ablaze did they burn each other up.

Proverbs 7:21 With persuasive words she led him astray;
she seduced him with her smooth talk.
22 All at once he followed her
like an ox going to the slaughter,
like a deer stepping into a noose
23     till an arrow pierces his liver,
like a bird darting into a snare,
little knowing it will cost him his life.

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): When they say their controlling, manipulative or cruel words and actions are right, good, and my fault, I ask: WOULD I DO THIS TO SOMEONE I CARE ABOUT?

Acts 2:45 they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need.

Donna Schaper (28 Apr 20): No one is stopping us from shaping ourselves in a “down market” direction. Interesting.

Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Apr 20): THERE ARE NO MORE WARNINGS IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Rick Joyner (28 Apr 20): Freedom works many times better than control for releasing initiative and innovation in an economy. Even so, we must have a higher vision for our economy than just being prosperous. We must have a devotion to do what is right and just if we are to be a partner with God, as the foundation of His throne is righteousness and justice (see Psalm 89:14).

Rahmiel-Hayyim Drizin: We learned that one who walks in the righteous path of Torah and toils in Torah properly [with properly clear and pure wisdom] always earns for himself a good share in the World to Come [for the Torah relates to tiferet, which always connects to bina, that is called the World to Come] since the word of Torah emanating from his mouth goes and wanders in the world and ascends up high. Many holy ones on high [angels appointed to raise up those words of Torah learned] join with that word, and it rises straight up, adorned with a holy crown. And it washes in the river [of bina] that flows and exits from Eden [from chochma] and is accepted by it, and is drawn within it. A supernal tree is planted around that river. Then a supernal light is drawn out and exits and adorns that person all that day, as we learned.

Revelation 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Pastor Steve Dittmar (28 Apr 20): Everything comes out of love or fear, and I want to show you how this all works. There were two trees in the Garden of Eden, but there is only one tree in the New Jerusalem. We are being trained to eat only from the Tree of Life. This message includes ladders and will bless our soul.

Brat (29 Apr 20): Wait a minute.  I journaled that Rev 22 portion on Monday (27 Apr 20) in my PRIVATE [!] journal and you published your piece the next day.  You are in Camarillo, too.  It feels like you were camping on my private journal.  I remember Jacob’s ladder.  You may not climb over me to get to your goal of blessing.  You may not get the blessing at my expense.  There are no more scapegoats.

Kenneth L. Samuel: Prayer
Lord you have blessed us with the “night help.” Now use us to bless them. Amen.

Jo text message (29 Apr 20): You are very strong.  And brave.  You are loved by God, guided by angels and backed by Michael, the baddest protector of them all.  You can do this.

Me: Thank you.  I needed that.

Journal (30 Apr 20): And I REALLY did!  I wasn’t feeling strong or brave.  I had told her the day before that I didn’t know how I was going to do this.  (My brother is on hospice with incurable cancer at the VA hospital, I feel crappy, the Funny Bunnies are still bullying, and now the politicians have discovered my inbox and have converged upon me like piranha.  Talk about “open defiance and warlike aggression against divine moral foundations”!  I know my life is not the only example of the apostasy at work in these times, which is trying to undermine us in these constant riptides.  But the sheep know Jesus’ voice.)

John 10:8 All who came before Me are thieves and bandits; but the sheep did not listen to them.

Rahmiel-Hayyim Drizin: And he who toils in Torah but does not do so in a pure or righteous way [according to the teachings of the Sages], that word rises and turns off the path. No [angel] joins it; all push it out and it goes and wanders around the world without finding a place.

Proverbs 7:24 Now then, my sons, listen to me;
pay attention to what I say.
25 Do not let your heart turn to her ways
or stray into her paths.

Rahmiel-Hayyim Drizin: Who caused this? That [teacher] who turned off from the straight path. As it is written, “nor put a stumbling block before the blind”. For this reason, it is written, “but shall fear your Elokim: I am G‑d.” (Leviticus 19:4) [If you study without truth, you should fear G‑d’s wrath.]

Isaiah 42: 25 So He poured out on them His burning anger,
the violence of war.
It enveloped them in flames, yet they did not understand;
it consumed them, but they did not take it to heart.

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): Lord, this is true.  You already did this.  And they did not understand.  They did not take it to heart.  There is nothing I can do.  You, Jesus, are God and savior.  I can love my Bagel Boys, but I cannot do their job for them.  I cannot break this code of silence.

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): The answer is never yes, dear one. Not ever.

Brat: That I cannot do their job for them?

Dr. Rivkah Lambert Adler (28 Apr 20): “We needed to mature in our own way, just like a child becomes self-sustaining.” Exile, according to Lester, offered the Jewish people an opportunity to develop our capacity to see God working in the world and to develop our own consciousness. That, she claimed, is what God really wants – “someone to be in a relationship with.”

Rabbi Simon Jacobson: Thus, the ultimate test of Aaron’s sons’ intentions was their inability to integrate the experience. Had they patiently and humbly entered on Divine terms, they would have been able to integrate the experience into their lives and return to sanctify their world. Integration would have confirmed that they were doing it not for themselves but for the cause, for G‑d. The fact that they allowed themselves to be consumed with their own spiritual fire, demonstrated that it was their “own thing,” not G‑d’s, a strange fire not commanded.

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): Because the abuse is – and was – never about the target, it’s about the one dishing it out. It’s about the twisted, self centered, privileged *thinking* through which they see others.

Acts 2:46 Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts,

Lance Wallnau (26 Apr 20): Hebrew prophets tell us with certainty that before the Lord returns there will be a great shaking of nations.

Rick Joyner (28 Apr 20): It is noteworthy that the two pillars in the temple of Solomon were named after a priest and a businessman (see I Kings 7:21—Jachin was a priest and Boaz a businessman). As the temple was God’s dwelling place, this speaks of how God wants to be present in our daily business and our daily transactions with others, not just when we gather to worship Him in services. Who we are is not determined by how we behave on Sunday, rather by how we behave Monday through Saturday. Our basic character can be revealed more through how we do business than how we attend church services.

Gene Russo (27 Apr 20): Also we can come to God because of Jesus and the 3 things needed for us in addition to Christ

Faith- It is a gift of God

Hearts sprinkled clean- the sprinkled blood of Jesus at the altar of the cross

Washed with water- At the flood of Noah, the earth’s and mankind rebirth

Rahmiel-Hayyim Drizin: We who try to adhere to the holiness mandate of this Torah portion are forced to be oh so circumspect in our actions, words, and thoughts. This is the role of a Holy people commanded to shine as a light to the nations. It is the simple faith that is the most prized. Hassidic story after Hassidic story relate the merits of the simple prayer and how high it extends. And we also can recall the sweetness of some of the early Torah we learned and how it resonated within and without.

Brat: That doesn’t give anyone the right to camp on my private prayer journals.

Rabbi Dr. Eliezer Shore: The Baal Shem Tov commented on the verse “Deliver me from all my transgressions; make me not the reproach of the despised” (Psalms 19:9), explaining that when you see a wicked person commit some despicable act or grievous sin, you should judge him favorably. He only did it because his passions overcame him, and he has a coarse physical nature, or he doesn’t realize the seriousness of the crime. [You should think] these and similar thoughts. Then, you also save yourself from judgment; for seeing this low thing in your friend should make you realize that you share a similar trait, and that there are judgments and accusations upon you, as well. When you can judge your friend favorably, you will likewise be judged.

Brat: Forgiveness is not the same as reconciliation.

Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Apr 20): ALL EVIL DOERS AND EVIL FORCES AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS OF THE WICKED ONE INCLUDING THE WICKED ONE himself THAT DARES HARM YOU WITH WICKED INTENTIONS HAS NO WARNING BUT IS IN THE LAKE OF FIRE THE MILLISECOND THE EVIL ACT IS CONCEIVED IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): God, You can take this mission and shove it!  I’ve had it!  I’ve done all I can!  Nate says Satan wants me to give up, that my anointing is (I don’t remember what) threatening Satan, and that’s his goal to make me give up.  Well, I don’t see the Funny Bunnies giving up any of their stance and turf.  We are supposed to see the devil get thrown into the lake of burning sulfur.

Revelation 20: 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

When Light Came In (26 Apr 20): They said they threatened you because you deserved it. Would you threaten your child or best friend?

Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Apr 20): NO MORE ATTACKS ARE PERMITTED ON ANY OF MY ANOINTED DARLING PRECIOUS CHILDREN IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Pastor Steve Dittmar (28 Apr 20): Jesus told them to wait for the Holy Spirit, who had been promised of the Father. A new source of power was coming that the flesh could not contain, and the mind was unable to explain. The Holy Spirit gave them the power to be witnesses to Jesus; starting in Jerusalem.

Dr. Rivkah Lambert Adler (28 Apr 20): A Jerusalem Woman Has a Rare Gift: Connecting Your Dreams to Prophecy[6]

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): And when does that happen?  At the peak of the war between Gog and Magog, when they surround the camp of God’s people, the city He loves. (Rev 20:11) Is that not Jerusalem in Israel?  Now we’re back to where we started.

Ryan LeStrange: Kathryn, Will you join the movement?

Brat: Sardis?

Proverbs 7:26 Many are the victims she has brought down;
her slain are a mighty throng.
27 Her house is a highway to the grave,
leading down to the chambers of death.

Lara Trump (29 Apr 20): MISSING: Kathryn from California

Brat (in “Blind and Deaf Israel” 26 Apr 20): What if the camp of God’s people is the Funny Bunnies and this digital rat fuck?  What if Camarillo is the City that God loves?  Well, God, take the devil outa here!!

Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Apr 20): ALL EVIL INTERFERENCE HAS FOUND ITS WAY INTO HELL FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Charles Finney (1873): Brethren, our preaching will bear its legitimate fruits. If immorality prevails in the land, the fault is ours in a great degree. If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discrimination, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in religion, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it. Let us not ignore this fact, my dear brethren; but let us lay it to heart, and be thoroughly awake to our responsibility in respect to the morals of this nation. [7]

Gene Russo (27 Apr 20): “Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” ~ Hebrews 10:19-22

Acts 2:47 praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.

Rahmiel-Hayyim Drizin: One who walks in the righteous path of Torah and toils in Torah properly [clearly and purely], the word of Torah emanating from his mouth ascends on high. Many holy ones [angels appointed to raise up Torah learned properly] join with that word, and it rises straight up, adorned with a holy crown.

From the Lectionary Readings for 3 Easter on 26 Apr 20: 1 Peter 1:17-23

1 Peter 1:17 If you invoke as Father the one who judges all people impartially according to their deeds [!], live in reverent fear during the time of your exile.

Brat (in “Knock, Knock” 17 Apr 20): I don’t know whom else to ask for help.  I’ve tried all avenues that God has opened up to me.  Will the wait ever be over?  I donno.  Will that existential answer arrive?  A lifetime plus ten years of being tested gushed out from the headwaters of the beast.  I felt swallowed up.  I was ridiculed as a nut case, when all I was trying to do was offer an olive branch.  True, I wrote the Truth and that bristled the hairs of the religious that wanted their mountains of control to not be disturbed, but to exile me, was a cruel rod and a punishment far exceeding my crime of speaking up.

When Light Came In (18 Apr 20): The light comes in as I sort each new hurtful behavior or word in to one of two buckets: 1) feelings he’s having (which are very real to him… and also *very* his responsibility) or 2) thought distortions (entitlement, superiority, mysogeny, “you deserve punishment,” etc, which are expressions of power and control).

Marchaé Grair (19 Apr 20): That’s why I empathize with the disciple so many of us know as “Doubting Thomas.” Thomas’ skepticism often results in people claiming he had no faith. Yet few people get curious if other disciples had ever proven themselves as untrustworthy to him.

1 Peter 1:18 You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold,

By Another Road (in “Poke” 18 Apr 20): Following Jesus is partly an attempt to reckon with those questions, even if our answers are fumbling. He stands there in the night, ready to receive our kiss, asking whether we know why we offer it. He stands there, forgiving us for the paltry silver we’ve gathered to justify our unexamined lives.

Brat (in “These Holy Ones” 16 Apr 20): I felt and heard the tears of saints crying under the altar again last night.  That means that someone in leadership had a golden opportunity to do the right thing to redeem the situation and chose to do nothing (as always.)

Michelle Holderman: “There are tears coming, but they’re coming to set you free. Don’t fight them; don’t reject them and most certainly don’t dismiss them. For they are coming to cleanse and to renew. What once was very painful in your life is going to be healed through the tears you will shed.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): Every moment of every day, someone, somewhere is crying: “How long, O Lord?” The psalmist(s) and prophets keep company with this plea. And, at various points in our life, so do we.

Marchaé Grair (19 Apr 20): After I left that relationship, it was especially difficult for me to trust anyone.

Isaiah 47:I was angry with my people
and desecrated my inheritance;
I gave them into your hand,
and you showed them no mercy.
Even on the aged
you laid a very heavy yoke.

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): Toxic people believe they are superior to others. Their thoughts are superior, their opinions are superior, the way they spend their time is superior, their job is superior, and their feelings are the most important ones in the room.

Charlie Shamp (May 29, 2018) and The Elijah List: I recently had a troubling vision that I believe will require intercessors to take very seriously and pray into during this time. In this vision, I was carried to a place that seemed to be a makeshift laboratory. As I looked around, I witnessed someone creating a sinister plan to harm humanity. I could see a laptop filled with thousands of files containing schemes, bomb-making instructions, and research on building home-brewed biological and radiological weapons.[1]

Isaiah 47:You said, ‘I am forever—
the eternal queen!’
But you did not consider these things
or reflect on what might happen.

Nate Johnston (21 Apr 20): I believe the shaking implies to the time we are currently in. This virus- is not from the Lord. The shaking, however, I believe is. He is using this time to shake off idols and things we once put our trust in, every last one of us. Anything that can be shaken has been shaken, but He is faithful to protect us through it. In the vision, it was very clear that I did not lose my footing. So, take heart, this shaking is necessary. Though things around you may be shaken, as you remain standing on the ROCK, you will not lose your footing. Though the sand around you is being sifted, you will find yourself standing on the unshakeable rock of our faithful Lord, Jesus. The Lord is using this to remove the chaff and He is causing His remnant to arise amidst it all. This is a part of the shaking that will cause the fear of the Lord to be magnified, in a holy way, in this hour. I am not speaking of ‘fear of heart’ but the ‘awe and wonder’ of the Lord is being restored in this unprecedented moment in history. [2]

Delia Owens (p 94): “Sand keeps secrets better than mud.”[3]

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): Turning the Corner

Mary Pezzulo (21 Apr 20): I don’t think the people looking in on us from beyond the earth could be too bad, either.[4]

Ben Lim (24 Apr 20): “‘Comfort, comfort My people,’ says your God. ‘Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins. A voice cries: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.'” (Isaiah 40:1-5)[5]

Brat (24 Apr 20): I DID speak to Jerusalem.  Yesterday I shared “Acts” with the Ascent webmaster, and I think he lives in Jerusalem.

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): When a couple is married the two become one flesh. God is bringing forth oneness; not mere unity, but rather oneness with Christ and oneness with one another. As we become one with Him we, in turn, see others as He sees them and can be one with them through the revelation of His agape love. [6]

Mary Pezzulo (21 Apr 20): I think they are guardian angels.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): Each ‘baby’ had a unique fingerprint, a unique imprint of answers from God’s heart for individuals, families and nations. I saw these heavily pregnant individuals being ushered by angels into supernatural delivery rooms. I saw that many of these people had reached their due dates, and some were well and truly overdue. Some were prepared for the birthing and intensely focused, while others felt confused and scared.[7]

Jewish Voice (20 Apr 20): Practical Steps to Experience Hope During Trials

Chuck D. Pierce (23 Apr 20): Day 1: Read Psalm 139 and Ephesians 2. May the Lord show you who you are in Him. You are an original, fearfully and wonderfully made! Thank Him for forming you in your mother’s womb. Spend the day praising! This is very important in the process of breaking cycles.[8]

Brat (23 Apr 20 at 7:45 am): Speaking of breaking cycles in Day 1 of the ten-day prayer vigil, I share my piece “Acts” with you. ~ Kathryn Hauser

1 Peter 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.

Charlie Shamp (May 29, 2018) and The Elijah List: “A true apostolic authority is about to be revealed that has not been seen in many generations. One that will be known not by title, but by acts! One that carries authentic power to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the masses. Where the enemy would use some to kill, steal and destroy, this anointing will come to bring life and life more abundantly.”

Jeremiah 1:Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Because what the world will need when things reopen is resurrection people.

Kathi Pelton (in “Acts” 22 Apr 20): But first we must respond. We must stop and allow for the time of waiting in the upper room to take place. This is where we search for Him until we find Him, and then we never let Him go. The Spirit will fall on us with the fulfillment of Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20-23:

Brat: Did you hear me?  I DID respond and my offer was ignored.

Psalm 10:14 But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted;
you consider their grief and take it in hand.
The victims commit themselves to you;
you are the helper of the fatherless.

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): If you feel like you don’t matter to them, there’s probably a reason for that.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): Prayer
God help us. Send us your helpers – now. Because we need them. And when we can help, push us past our hesitation. Amen.

Isaiah 47:15 That is all they are to you—
these you have dealt with
and labored with since childhood.
All of them go on in their error;
there is not one that can save you.

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): It is the time to “be still and know!” There is an unbreakable “knowing” that comes through the intimacy of oneness. When Mary was visited by the angel who announced that she would conceive a son, she questioned him saying, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” (Luke 1:34). This “knowing” is speaking of physical intimacy which is a human act that brings oneness and bears fruit. It is an earthly representation of a spiritual truth. The spiritual act of intimacy also ushers in oneness and bears fruit through the revelation of Jesus – our eternal Bridegroom.

Brat (in “Acts” 22 Apr 20): Thirteen years of being up against a wall of dysfunctional Silence and abuse from the Church and I can tell you I need the same thing.  I need human touch.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): Know that you are never, ever alone. There is a corner to turn. May the people who can help to shine light on that opportunity never be more than a message away.

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): Not when we’re sick, not when we have a work deadline, not when we try something new, or think a new thought, or want them to care, or need them to contribute to the relationship.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): “But the Lord is near,” they say.

Isaiah 47:Both of these will overtake you
in a moment, on a single day:
loss of children and widowhood.
They will come upon you in full measure,
in spite of your many sorceries
and all your potent spells.

Charlie Shamp (May 29, 2018) and The Elijah List: Those that would commit such demonic acts are filled with the most deep spirit of darkness. The devil used disease from the beginning to destroy humanity, but My Son was manifested that He might destroy the works of satan in the earth.

Nate Johnston (21 Apr 20): As I rode atop the waves and watched as the mountains beneath me were effortlessly flattened and swallowed, I believe this speaks of a new and higher realm of authority that is coming to the Body of Christ. Strongholds that we have spent years praying into to break, will be flattened in a moment in this coming hour. You will ride high atop the waves of awakening and revival and you do not need to fear the incoming waves. It is going to be a wild ride of excitement, so stand still, watch the horizon and brace for what is about to come. The countless numbers of people that I saw, I believe, represent the prodigal that will return to the Father in this hour’s awakening. They will be swept up in this mighty movement and will be carried upon the rivers of His living water. God is moving mightily, the ground is ready and prepared, the harvest is ripe.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): We may feel the need to orchestrate an end to release us from our pain. If you or someone you know is in this place, hear this: God is near. God sees you. God knows what you are experiencing. And God intends a new beginning for you in this life.

Delia Owens (p 95): “…Shells the best secret-keepers of all.”

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): They let us know in subtle ways and very-not-subtle ways that we aren’t as important, and it’s ridiculous for us to even think they would invest energy understanding or valuing us for any reason.

Sophia Valentina Buller (23 Apr 20): ALL WHO HATE YOU AND SMEARED YOU WITH LIES AND FALSEHOOD HAVE BEEN PUT TO SHAME IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Isaiah 47: 14 Surely they are like stubble;
the fire will burn them up.
They cannot even save themselves
from the power of the flame.
These are not coals for warmth;
this is not a fire to sit by.

For King & Country: “Burn the Ships” [https://youtu.be/pOVrOuKVBuY]

Mary Pezzulo (21 Apr 20): I have been thinking of that description lately.

Danielle Dixon: I asked the Lord why I saw them this way?

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): Yet, the Lord is near. We may experience isolation, but we are not alone. We may feel that we are at an end, but in every case – even in death – we are only at a beginning. This is the promise of faith, of resurrection.

1 Peter 1:20 He was destined before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of the ages for your sake.

Talitha Arnold (22 Apr 20): By his third day, Jonah had learned that truth. In the utter darkness inside the whale, he prayed: “I called to the Lord out of my distress, and God answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried and you heard my voice” (Jonah 2:2).

Nate Johnston (21 Apr 20): I believe we are also standing in this current moment of watching the waters recede. There is great exposure taking place of underground plans. Plans that have been hidden in darkness. Where there was a mighty suction that drew back all of the waters that once covered ‘the bottom dwellers’, I believe we are going to see an ‘exposure’ of demonic agendas revealed for all the world to see. These demonic agendas will have no place to hide but will be forced to run away in swift terror. I believe this is speaking of evil political plans against the President of the U.S, those involved in hidden agendas of sex trafficking, also, hidden agendas against the unborn, even agendas against the church. In this sense, I knew the crab was represented in a negative way, and prophetically speaking, crabs can represent strongholds, unclean things, and hidden cancers.

Delia Owens (p 105): “…Together they squatted to watch a crab skittering sideways across the sand.  Laughing, they leaned against one another’s shoulders until they flopped on the sand in a bundle.”

Isaiah 47: 11 Disaster will come upon you,
and you will not know how to conjure it away.
A calamity will fall upon you
that you cannot ward off with a ransom;
a catastrophe you cannot foresee
will suddenly come upon you.

Larry Sparks (24 Apr 20): Be settled and unshaken. Don’t pretend away problems in the name of faith. Just simply refuse to exalt any crisis or disaster above the name of Jesus.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): Circumstance can feel like there’s a foot on the throat of our joy. It’s crushing, this pressure. It leaves bruises we imagine the people around us don’t want to see. Depression can feel this way: like a pressure that mounts on the only way we know how to live and breathe. Depression cuts off life.

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): We can notice the squeezing, choose not to subscribe to it, and remind ourselves we have every right to exist and think and have needs. If we’re feeling confused (because that has always been the point: to make us feel confused because *they* are confused why we matter), we can hold our heart, speak to it like we would to our child or our best friend, and reassure it.

Delia Owens (p 126): “Lying there Ma said, “You all listen now, this is a real lesson in life.  Yes, we got stuck, but what’d we girls do?  We made it fun, we laughed.  That’s what sisters and girlfriends are all about.  Sticking together even in the mud, ‘specially in mud.””

Isaiah 47: 10 You have trusted in your wickedness
and have said, ‘No one sees me.’
Your wisdom and knowledge mislead you
when you say to yourself,
‘I am, and there is none besides me.’

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): None of that is as important as they are… to themselves.

Steve Shultz (20 Apr 20): He truly understands and has deep knowledge of the times and seasons.

Danielle Dixon: He went on to say “They are very experienced; they have gathered many harvests in the earth.  They have been on assignment in the North for many years. They were proud of their accomplishments for the Father.” He continued, “This new assignment in Australia is exciting and also a challenge; they take their assignments very seriously and always want to please the Father. They don’t please man they please the Father; they honor man because the Father does.”

Charlie Shamp: Watch and see what I’m about to do as your sons come from afar, yes the businesses will return even as your daughters that have been missing will be carried on my right arm back to safety in the coming days. For I will say to the North, ‘Give them up!’ and to the South, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth.”

Lana Vawser (23 Apr 20): You’re entering a Season of unprecedented opportunities to achieve the impossible! Your troubles are becoming the BRIDGE to much greater days! Psalm 6:10 decrees that you shall see your enemies put to shame! God is for you and fighting for you! Blessed shifts are coming to you! Be Blessed! Receive and SHARE!

Talitha Arnold (22 Apr 20): Even as the waters closed in over him, the weeds wrapped around him, and his life ebbed away, Jonah remembered God with gratitude. Still in the depths of the sea. Still in crisis. Still encased in whatever mess might be in a whale’s stomach, Jonah prayed “with the voice of thanksgiving.”

Mary Pezzulo (21 Apr 20): “That’s the one good thing about this crisis.” I stepped six feet away, to wash my hands again and let her have the pantry. “It reminds us that we’re all neighbors.”

Nate Johnston (21 Apr 20): When I saw the waters recede, I heard the Lord tell me to ‘Stand still, Keep watch on the horizon.’ I believe this is speaking specifically to the watchman at this hour. Those that God has positioned as watchmen and guardians over the lands. The Lord is speaking to you to declare the end from the beginning. Command the bottom-dwellers to be exposed in the mighty Name of Jesus. Speak to every unclean thing that its time of hiding is over. Command those unclean strongholds to be unseated, unhoused, forced into the light and exposed in the light of the SON, in Jesus’ mighty name. Stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord.

Danielle Dixon: He said, “If you look into them hard enough, you can see their assignment.”

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): The work of God, and particularly of God’s people, is to show up. God is always, always showing up for you. With God’s help, so do we.

Isaiah 47: 1 “Go down, sit in the dust,
Virgin Daughter Babylon;
sit on the ground without a throne,
queen city of the Babylonians.
No more will you be called
tender or delicate.

Charlie Shamp (May 29, 2018) and The Elijah List: I know what I was shown and we must not be slothful in prayer at this time. We must be diligently seeking God for the protection of the nations. We must earnestly desire this mantle of abundant life to come upon the leaders of the Body of Christ.

Mary Pezzulo (21 Apr 20): I went into the church next door to pray for a moment before heading home.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. – Psalm 34:18 (NRSV)

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): I then saw a picture of an ultrasound of these ‘babies’ that they were carrying. Just as an ultrasound details a baby’s bone structures and physical traits, I saw that these ‘supernatural’ babies of the hour were filled with the DNA of Heaven, with specific answers that individuals and the earth, alike, are in desperate need of.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): The news won’t stop and the death tolls climb.
Light dims on another dream.
Lab tests say it’s time to stop.
The withdrawal can’t happen because the money isn’t there.
Job applications keep receiving a “no.”
Bed seems the only safe space.

Mary Pezzulo (21 Apr 20): “Will you take some angel blankets?” She asked.

Larry Sparks (24 Apr 20): Rather than immediately dive into the “How Tos” of responding to disaster, the first truth we need to take hold of is that we have a Father, and He is good! Then, in view of who God is, we respond—not react—to our present circumstances. From sickness to financial upheaval, from relationship struggles to global calamity, we discover everything in its rightful place when measured next to the character and nature of Father God, as revealed through Jesus. He has something to say about everything we are going through.

Brat: So do the watchers.

Chuck D. Pierce (23 Apr 20): During this “Divine Pause” the Lord is creating and rearranging what we are doing in the earth realm. We are not only learning to meet in new ways but allowing our boundaries of sound and movement to be realigned. Let the roar of the Lion of Judah arise!

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): We can set boundaries (spoken or not) as to what of ourselves we will share and what is no longer available for them to reject and belittle. And if the pattern continues, we can do what it takes to respect our worth and get out.

1 Peter 1:21 Through Him you have come to trust in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are set on God.

When Light Came In (18 Apr 20): I spent too many years being confused about the feelings thing. I’m not anymore.

Kaji Douša (23 Apr 20): “God will save those whose spirits are crushed,” we’re told. We cannot hear these words of comfort and resolution without asking the next logical question:

When?

When Light Came In (23 Apr 20): When we feel that belief, that broken thought filling the room and squeezing us out, this is where light can come in.

Chuck D. Pierce (23 Apr 20): If satan is going to block your advance, then one of his key objectives will be to keep your emotions from becoming whole. Expectation is linked with the function of desire. In this harvest season, we must expect to move from maintenance to revival to awakening to conquest.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (18 Apr 20): Dear Lord Jesus, I have specific requests that may only partially fill the infinite needs and desires that are in my heart. I ask that You answer me not only for those requests but also for a greater reliance on You to satisfy the needs and desires that You have given me.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): I feel this lesson is imperative for those of you who are in labor and delivery of your promises right now. Just as western cultures have depicted a narrative that modern mothers should be back on their feet in no time, there is also a subtle belief within the western Church that has a similar storyline: “The more you do, the better and the more effective you are for the Kingdom.” Whereas I believe that the Holy Spirit is speaking, just like the midwife: “PROTECT THE PROMISE! PROTECT YOUR TIME!”

Mary Pezzulo (21 Apr 20): I don’t think my friend saw hell in her dream. I think she saw Earth: broken and damaged by so much sin, but an opportunity for so much grace.

1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified your souls by your obedience to the truth so that you have genuine mutual love, love one another deeply from the heart.

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): Continue to wait in your upper room and yet run in your spirit to search for Him. Oneness is coming which will reform and transform everything and everyone. Then…the world will know!

Brat (in “Knock, Knock” 17 Apr 20): In the ‘irony of ripping branches’ I felt like the Church broke trust by inflicting upon me my bruises through her projections.  She trampled my tender green.  Honesty was missing.  There was no place for me in her boughs.  What may have started as infatuation, was really a love seed planted there by the Holy Spirit. God loves His Churches enough to not let them stay the way they are.

1 Peter 1:23 You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.

From the Lectionary Readings for 3 Easter on 26 Apr 20: Acts 2:14a, 36-41

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): They’re starting to drive each other crazy in these close quarters and they can’t go out.[1]

Jewish Voice (20 Apr 20): As you are in quarantine, either by yourself, or with others, take stock of what is happening around you. Maybe keep a journal of the emotions you are feeling throughout the day. Find the moments of thanksgiving and find the joy in the situation. Write down what you are thankful for. Use this to draw near to the Lord as you recognize His goodness in the midst of this trial but also to encourage others around you who can’t seem to see past the difficult situation.

Acts 2:14a: But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them,

Lance Wallnau (18 Apr 20): Hi Kathryn!

Jonathan Bernis (17 Apr 20): Shalom, my friend.

Yael Eckstein (19 Apr 20): Shalom, Kathryn,

Jewish Voice (20 Apr 20): A change in perspective can allow us to see current trial of the coronavirus as an opportunity to strengthen our faith. Consider it a workout for your faith, allow yourself to build your muscle of faith through exercising your strength and patience day in and day out. Look around you and find the joy in the situation and see it as a chance to grow closer to the Lord.[2]

Acts 2:36 “Therefore let the entire house of Israel know with certainty that God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Victoria Boyson: The calling on your life has made you a target. Indeed, the enemy is intensely jealous of the LOVE the Father has for you and he hates you for having what he can never have. Yet, in the darkness of the night you’ve endured the enemy’s hatred and now the sunrise on your trial has nearly dawned.[3]

House of Destiny (22 Apr 20): Is This The New World War?

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): He came right in the middle of the crisis, right in the middle of things falling apart, when they felt like they’d never be safe enough to go outside again, when they were starting to accept that “normal” had died right along with Jesus.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (18 Apr 20): So, help me to see Your good and gracious purpose in all my trials. Help me to see Your blessings in every day and help me to love You more.

Jewish Voice (20 Apr 20): Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.   ~ James 1:2-4

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): Be Strategic About Who You Allow to See You in Labor

House of Destiny (22 Apr 20): This has been called a world war by many. And it is! God didn’t send this war, but we can be sure that He will use it. If we don’t use this time to become closer to God and grow, we have wasted a perfect opportunity.

Patheos (22 Apr 20): Paul Did Not Want Us to Be Idle

Charisma (22 Apr 20): Is it time to relaunch your ministry?

House of Destiny (22 Apr 20): Your Friend,
Greg Wark

Brat: I don’t know from friendship, but I can share what I see:

https://truthinus.wordpress.com/2020/04/22/hornets-nest-21-apr-20/

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): Just as in our earthly marriages, we can get to points and times where we are merely “going through the motions.” It’s not that we do not still love our spouses, but due to busyness (parenting, careers, responsibilities) we forget the passions and longings that we shared when our love was new. If we remain in that place without rekindling or reawakening love, it will eventually grow cold. Our “I love you” will become just words at the end of a phone call or a salutation rather than an ongoing experience that takes us to new depths of oneness with each other. This is true with our walk with the Lord as well.[4]

Danielle Dixon: He also spoke about the assignment from the devil to stop the finances of the harvesters.

Sermons That Work (21 Apr 20): The Church Staff Salary Guide Is Finally Here, And We’re Giving it Away for Free (sponsored)

Brat: Where does the proverbial buck stop?  There is STILL no accountability!!

Danielle Dixon: “There are many demonic forces against the harvesters of the land; you cannot harvest without angelic help. The greatest assignment is against the finances of the harvesters. Speak to the land; command a harvest in your financial area; release the harvesting angels into the lack and ask them to gather what belongs to you. There are finances that belong to you that have never been released. I said a man is worthy of his days; hire and not to muzzle the oxen. Your seeds are great; start commanding what belongs to you to be loosed in my name.”

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): My heart immediately knew what He was saying! When He said that my works would become ACTS I knew that there was a clear distinction. It was like moving from “going through the motions” to what the disciples experienced in the book of Acts. As they waited in the upper room they were like the Shulamite who left the comforts of her room and ran through the streets, looking for the one her soul loved. Though they were still and locked in (waiting), just as we are today, their souls were searching and desperately waiting to be filled with the promise that would awaken them. And sure enough, their day of Pentecost came:

Jonathan Bernis (17 Apr 20): And still that is what we must do. Let me encourage you to continue seeking and depending on our great God. Let us lift our eyes to Him for we know our help comes from the Lord.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): I’m counting it a victory every time I eat a semi-healthy meal or put on an entire outfit that doesn’t contain at least one article of pajamas.

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (18 Apr 20): May I seek You with a sincere heart knowing that it will profit me nothing if I gain the whole world yet lose my soul.

Perets Auerbach: The greater the soul, the higher the degree of intensity is its energy. It is thus a ‘big investment’ that reaps for them high dividends.

Garris Elkins (19 Apr 20): Revelation is the product and goal of the completed equation. This is not a repetition of past revelations. It builds upon what has been shown in the past. It adds new insight not previously considered before the reset, refocus, and rest occurred. These are divine breakthroughs of revelation.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): Recently, I have heard a particular word on repeat in my spirit, and that word is “focus.” The Holy Spirit is saying to you today, “FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!” In a time of birthing, intense focus is required.[5]

By George*: Adjust your focus

Garris Elkins (19 Apr 20): After a reset, new opportunities will refocus our efforts. This refocusing will create simplicity, helping to highlight the specific things God has called each of us to do. It will require that we say no to some things currently on our plate and yes to things we had not considered before the refocusing took place. [6]

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): When love grows cold, ACTS turn into “the works of men” rather than the “wonderful works of God.” But when the Bride is awakened to the true revelation of the one her soul loves, then mortal works (even good works) become “acts of God!” Miracles, signs and wonders will follow them because they have become one with Him (even as They are one – John 17:20-23).

Danielle Dixon: I was taken into a heavenly realm, and I could see the two angels clearly. As I stared at them their appearance changed from normal-looking male appearance, to being dressed in white solider apparel with short blonde hair their features looked Nordic, rugged and stocky. As I was looking at them they turned into harvesting machines then they changed back into a male appearance.

Garris Elkins (19 Apr 20): We are being reset to align our lives with a greater manifestation of God’s Spirit as He invites us to partner with Him in new ways for the advancement of the Great Commission. As the world holds its collective breath, we have an opportunity to breathe in new and fresh revelation. That revelation will help move the nations of the world toward a flourishing future. This is an exciting time to be alive. Listen for the reset of God. It will reset the course of your life toward something new and previously unimagined.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Jesus did not bring resurrection when things “returned to normal.”

Danielle Dixon: They bring the “WINDS OF CHANGE”.

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): “On the day of Pentecost all the Believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from Heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.” (Acts 2:1-4)

Victoria Boyson: Awakening now, you realize that all along it was only the pruning of the Lord you’ve endured and all the enemy has thrown at you has worked to make you an intense and glory-filled warrior of the most-high God. You went to sleep a child and awoke a mighty, fearless warrior experienced in VICTORY! God has proven once again that He is the superior power and the darkness is dispelled by the greatness of His light!

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): I didn’t listen. In the days and weeks following her birth, we had yet another steady stream of people visiting, and I felt the intense pressures to be ‘up and about’ like normal; going to church on Sunday immediately following her birth, making coffees for all of our visitors, and giving the impression I was a “do it all” mother who was all put together. But in reality, I was crumbling inside.

Jewish Voice (20 Apr 20): A handful of years ago I went through a pretty intense medical situation and during that season it definitely didn’t feel like joy, but looking back, the Lord was so near to me and He never left my side. I experienced great peace and a testing of my faith like never before. It allowed me to grow in compassion, mercy, and patience, especially with others. I wouldn’t have learned those lessons if it wasn’t for that experience.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): I wonder if his gift of the Holy Spirit was closer to an emergency medical procedure than to a carefully choreographed holy moment.

Moshe-Yaakov Wisnefsky: There are three types of haughtiness: One type of person is haughty in his heart and appears to be humble to everyone else. … A second type of haughtiness is that in which a person feels superior to those like him, but not to those who exceed him in wisdom or stature. This type of haughtiness is called “a scab”. [The Hebrew word for “scab”, “sapachat“, means a connected addition,] as in the verse, “Assign me [in Hebrew, “sapcheini“], please, to one of the priestly duties” (Samuel I 2:36), in the sense of “joining” and “connection”. [It thus refers to someone who feels superior only to those of his own caliber.] … The third type of haughtiness is more serious [and therefore requires a lengthier process of purification]. This is the “bright spot”, meaning that the person feels and acts superior even to those who exceed him in wisdom, stature, or wealth. He acts impudently to all. This type of haughtiness is therefore alluded to by the strong, bright spot.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): Thankfully, my midwife happened to be in the room and immediately saw the pale look on my face and ordered him out of the room abruptly – so much so, he became offended. But she looked at Nate and me and said, “It’s fine for the family to come to see the baby, but Mum is just as important as the newborn. If you don’t protect this space, you’ll fall into depression.”

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Sometimes the fatigue and disorientation and grief of this crisis make me feel like there’s a rock on my chest and I can scarcely draw breath.

When Light Came In (18 Apr 20): It doesn’t matter if they are mad, confused, lonely, tired, hurt, disappointed, stressed, scared or heart broken when they hurt you.

Michelle Holderman: Jesus is near to you and your broken heart. He knows your whole story. He knows the depth of your hurt. He knows the harm that was done. He knows the scars you carry. And He has come that you might have newness of life.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): During my earliest contractions, I allowed people into my home thinking it would help with the process. How wrong I was. While I lay on my bed in agony, I had a steady stream of individuals – people who I thought would be of help – come through my home laughing and pointing at my distress whilst helping themselves to my fridge, rather than encouraging me through it. At the time, I thought they were just trying to help me get my mind off it, but looking back, I now know it was the worst possible thing for labor. It elevated my stress, prolonging the birth.

Victoria Boyson: Satan can’t stand to watch our faith in God manifest into our breakthrough. He sees it as a great failure. He is determined to strike at the heart of our belief and pour out discouragement. Disillusioned by the lies of the enemy, we tend to lose faith in Him and soon feel crushed under the weight of earth’s reality.

Perets Auerbach: thinking they have won control over the seemingly lost soul. This is a type of decoy tactic. G‑d created a system in order to set the stage for free will. In order to keep the system going, He (as if it were) plays by His own rules. Therefore, He (as if it were) must allow the sitra achra to have its place and power. He plays around within system within the rules of the system to usurp the kelipot.

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Rabbi Yitzchak Luria: However, G‑d considers how to prevent those which stray from being pushed off completely, specifically those souls which are still pure and special. G‑d desires the repentance of even the greatest sinner rather than see a soul destroyed, G‑d forbid.

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): As we wait in our “upper rooms” during this time and search for the One our souls love, we will experience a personal Pentecost that will fill us with power from on high as it aligns us in “oneness with Christ”; revealing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to those who have never repented and turned to Him. When we are one the world will “know and believe!”

By George*: When we step aside from our activities (even good ones), we experience an adjusted focus, a new view of the One who reigns over us and everything else.[7]

Garris Elkins (19 Apr 20): This rest is more than just taking a day off each week. It must become a lifestyle, a constant way of thinking and living. Rest reveals the God-solutions that a stressed and burned out mind cannot perceive. Rest will be the place from which the next revival and reformation will be birthed.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Do you know what Thomas really needs?

Human touch.

Brat: Thirteen years of being up against a wall of dysfunctional Silence and abuse from the Church and I can tell you I need the same thing.  I need human touch.

Lance Wallnau (18 Apr 20): One big issue for Greenleaf – what happened to Jesus’s body? His disciples fled and hid. They didn’t have the body. The Romans secured the tomb; why would they take the body? The trial of Jesus nearly caused a riot. The Jewish leaders feared a grave robbery. Do you think the guards would sleep on this assignment? Besides, the punishment for a sleeping Roman on duty was death. Herod killed the soldiers that lost track of Peter in prison!

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): The message that we will carry from this time (this upper-room waiting time) will be understood by those who have never heard this “language” before. We will speak, by the unction of His Spirit, in a language that the world can understand, causing them to repent and turn to God. This will bring in the greatest harvest ever seen!

Acts 2:39 For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.”

By George*: The world needs to see Jesus on full display! Pray for a fresh Holy Spirit revelation and a compelling demonstration of the body of Christ. Turn aside from your activities and gaze upon Him. Ask the love of Jesus to come to the nations and peoples of the earth during these uncertain times.

Brat (20 Apr 20 at 7:53 am): For George*: https://truthinus.wordpress.com/

(Foursquare Leader comment box wouldn’t accept my reply.)

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): But first we must respond. We must stop and allow for the time of waiting in the upper room to take place. This is where we search for Him until we find Him, and then we never let Him go. The Spirit will fall on us with the fulfillment of Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20-23:

Brat: Did you hear me?  I DID respond and my offer was rejected.

Danielle Dixon: Then the Lord said, looking towards the angels, “One angel is called WIND the other CHANGE you need both for a harvest; a WIND to expose the hidden heart and a CHANGE of heart to repent.

Rabbi Moshe Alshich of Tzfat-Safed: Harvest Time — You get what you give – and then a bit more

Danielle Dixon: The Lord said these harvesting angels have been on assignment in the North to gather the harvest.

Brat: Should I send this to Tsafed?

Kathi Pelton (22 Apr 20): “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. I have given them the glory that You gave Me, that they may be one as We are one – I in them and You in Me – so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that You sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me.”

Danielle Dixon: He expounded how important it was to speak to our land and release these angels into our regions and nations. The Lord said “They have been assigned because you have been commanding the harvest they are activated by your words. Don’t stop; don’t give up. You are striking the ground with your intercession; your hearts cry to see the captives set free.”

Acts 2:40 And he testified with many other arguments and exhorted them, saying, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”

Danielle Dixon: “The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.” Matthew 13:39

Pastor Scott Kegel (21 Apr 20): Hello Kathryn…

Thanks for reaching out. I agree that we are racing into the end times where God’s wrath will be amplified. I believe that our calling remains the same throughout…to bear fruit (becoming more like Jesus) and to have an impact on others (sharing amazing news of the gospel with as many as possible). I will pray for many opportunities for both of these things to happen in your life as well as in mine.

Many blessings!

Verse of the Day (19 Apr 20): But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 NIV

Danielle Dixon: I believe the Lord is encouraging us, we are not alone; he has harvesting angels all over the earth. But it is our job to release them to gather our harvest from the land.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Reentering the world as heralds of the resurrection seems pretty far-fetched to us right now.

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Total loss of clarity heralds the Messianic Era.[8]

James W. Goll: We welcome the angelic host to do the bidding of our Father and we partner together for Angelic Intervention for such a time as this in Jesus Great Name! Amen and Amen!

Acts 2:41 So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.

Working Dates: Sunday, April 19, 2020 to Wednesday, April 22, 2020

[9 pages]

[…Continued from “Whale of a Tale”]

Psalm 116:14 I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.

Brat (21 Apr 20): I feel a shift taking place in the spiritual atmosphere, but it hasn’t made sanctuary yet.

Psalm 10:Why, Lord, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (19 Apr 20): Swarms of Killer Hornets Prophesied in the Bible are About to Invade Washington[1]

Psalm 10:In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,
who are caught in the schemes he devises.

Steve Shultz: Just this week, God has been telling me how important it is to PRAISE HIM. Yes, it’s always good to do, and even now it will shift atmospheres and shift our hearts as we praise and thank HIM for all He has done and who He is.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (19 Apr 20): “I sent the hornet ahead of you, and it drove them out before you — [just like] the two Amorite kings—not by your sword or by your bow.” ~Joshua 24:12 (The Israel Bible™)

Helen Cobanov (20 Apr 20): The Lord spoke to me and reminded me that we must not keep silent in this time! Now is the time to pray and praise in the secret place. We must not become accepting of the thought that this is the “new normal”…NO! We DO NOT ACCEPT that sickness, death, isolation and distancing, hardship, business closures, fear and anxiety are the new normal. We must not become accepting of or get distracted by the plans of the enemy and let fear or doubt fill us![2]

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): I felt the Holy Spirit impart some strategies for delivery to my own life for this season of birthing that I wanted to share with you.[3]

Victoria Boyson: God’s love is UNFAILING! When you are loved like that, it matters more than safety or comfort.[4]

Yael Eckstein (19 Apr 20): But do you know what comforts me deep within my heart?

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): I then heard the Father’s gentle and reassuring voice speaking to those who were in fear. He spoke the words of Joshua 1:9: “…Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” He is with you; you are not alone, do not be afraid.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (19 Apr 20): At two inches long and with a wingspan of three inches, Giant Asian Hornets are deadly. Their stinger is up to 10 millimeters long and contains a potent neurotoxin called mandaratoxin, which, in cases of multiple hornets stinging simultaneously, can kill a human. A single hornet can sting multiple times, and cause tissue necrosis, extreme pain, respiratory issues, liver damage, and blood clots, features commonly associated with snake venom. But people who are allergic to the venom can suffer anaphylactic shock and die from a single sting. Each year in Japan, the human death toll caused by Asian giant hornet stings is around 40-50. Nests are often found in urban settings and the hornets are aggressive by nature.

Psalm 10:His mouth is full of lies and threats;
trouble and evil are under his tongue.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): After two days, I was finally admitted to the hospital, but when I got there, the newly built hospital was under staffed and they were unable to admit me into a birthing suite. Instead, I was placed in a side corridor alongside other women who were birthing, just like me, with only curtain partitions to separate us. Just when I thought I could finally focus, I found I was more distracted than ever by the sounds of other women in labor filling the entire corridors. It was then that Nate gave me headphones with gentle worship playing so I could tune out the distractions I was hearing and focus intently on my breathing.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (19 Apr 20): Experts are now warning that the species will begin to swarm in spring, as the hornet’s life cycle begins in April.

Revelation 9:10 They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months.

Psalm 10:In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
in all his thoughts there is no room for God.

Victoria Boyson: If we would just TRUST HIM, He would drive back our enemies, break through the chains of despair and make a wild display of His love for us in the presence of our haters!

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (19 Apr 20): It is not known how or where the hornet first arrived in North America but a nest was discovered in 2019 on Vancouver Island in Canada. Later that year, the Washington State Department of Agriculture confirmed a report of a dead specimen on the U.S. side of the border adjacent to Vancouver, the first report of this species in the United States. There were a total of four sightings of Giant Asian Hornets in Washington State last year.

Donné Clement Petruska: Kim Saw A Cataclysmic Period Leading Into Summer

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (19 Apr 20): In addition to the threat Asian Hornets pose to humans, they feed on honey bees and can devastate hives, eating up to 50 bees a day. Two dozen hornets can lay waste to an entire honeybee hive in a few hours, killing all the worker bees, taking over the hive, and claiming the larvae and pupae as a food source.

Psalm 10:He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.”
He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.”

James W. Goll (20 Apr 20): You can be a Noah for your family and sphere of influence, creating a space of protection by being a carrier of His brilliant presence.[5]

Donné Clement Petruska: Remember this, the sacred thing my Dad was referring to is the Constitution and Bill of Rights in the United States of America.

Psalm 10:16 The Lord is King for ever and ever;
the nations will perish from his land.

Breaking Israel News (20 Apr 20): Corona is Beginning of Gog and Magog War: Unless we Repent says Rabbi

Revelation 9:11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (19 Apr 20): “Signs of the geula (redemption) are coming faster and faster,” Rabbi Berger said. “Too many people are playing politics, jumping to play power or to hurt others. It is time to concentrate on tshuva (repentance). Now, more than ever, we are experiencing our interdependence. Now, there are endless opportunities to help each other in small ways that take on enormous importance. Despite our great scientific achievements, it is clear that God rules the world.”

Brat (20 Apr 20 at 7:10 am): Revelation 9 is fulfilled.  Then my next question is, what is the Pacific Northwest hiding or refusing to disclose that she must repent from, as the angel of the abyss has the destroyer as king over them?

Johnny Enlow (20 Apr 20): Church “Repent” – of What?

Thomas Griffin (19 Apr 20): Bottom line, it’s just as my dad always told me, “Son, garbage in, garbage out.”  You can’t intake bad sustenance and feel good. Be wise in what you are intaking through your eyes, ears, and company.

Betty King (21 Apr 20): In this season, be sure to protect yourself from being involved in the wrong alignments, ungodly entanglements and power struggles out of which these things arise and in which people become pawns to be used to serve an agenda. Take care not to speak or make demands out of ambition or anger, or to sow seeds of destruction with your own mouth. Instead, take care to protect the forerunner anointing and the genuine, authentic, prophetic voice of God in your life, and be wise.[6]

Victoria Boyson: You will stand VICTORIOUS in complete submission to your heavenly Father and thus more powerful than any earthly force could reckon with. The fire has not destroyed you! No! The enemy’s attacks against you have emboldened you! They have turned your ashes into IRON! No one else could have turned what the enemy meant for your destruction into the construction of a KING!

Perets Auerbach: If matter is not destroyed, how much more so a soul! However, one who has seriously defiled his soul will have to undergo a greater transformation process. In general, sin soils the soul and causes it to need a cleaning. The dirtier it is, the more of a cleaning it requires. There is a point where it becomes so dirty that the washing machine won’t help any more. The garment needs to be set on fire. Through being burned, the unclean molecules connect with their root in the Infinite Light and are rejuvenated to assume a new identity. This is a parable for the soul. Its being destroyed means that its energy is transformed, and is made into something good.

Thomas Griffin (19 Apr 20): Yes, I said that. Even your company needs the wisdom of God in it. Sometimes you’ll need to separate yourself from conversations that are full of negativity, other-times when we can’t run from those who choose to be negative, we humbly love them, try to encourage them, and trust the Lord to protect our hearts and keep it on the outside of the peace that protects our hearts.

Donné Clement Petruska: The vision my Dad, Kim Clement, relayed in this broadcast from May 2, 2015 is, without a doubt, a WORD we all need to hear amidst the turmoil, upheaval and cataclysmic environment we have found ourselves in, and he saw it coming.

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful ones.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): We are the People of God, and what we make of this time spiritually will critically impact the new world we reenter.[7]

Brat (in “Crucifying” 7 Apr 20): Then write me back! Don’t just hijack the theme to perpetuate the Arc Speak crime and punishment.

Psalm 10:His ways are always prosperous;
your laws are rejected by him;
he sneers at all his enemies.

Victoria Boyson: A fire like none other has come against you, but you’ve remained steadfast in your love and trust for the Father and all the while He has watched over you and fought for you. Though the fire has been intense, the presence of God has been pervasive, invasive and breathtaking. Sometimes, He’s even carried you through Himself, but you are nearly there. Just one push and your enemy’s oppression will give way to the new you that has been hidden under the ashes of the enemy’s assault.

Helen Cobanov (20 Apr 20): The Lord says, “My door is open! Come into My presence and seek My face. For I am bringing REMEMBRANCE back to you as you come to Me and hear My heart, My will and My plans. Many people have been so distracted and caught up in the busyness, distraction and chaos of everyday life that they HAVE FORGOTTEN ME. Yes, ministries, churches, businesses and workplaces, families and individuals, knowingly and unknowingly, had shut Me out…becoming blind to the realization that the enemy has been running My people in circles and burning them out whilst they chased the wind. But I am bringing you back – back to MY HEART! For I AM your FIRST LOVE and deeply passionate and jealous for you.”

By George*: Once, while picturing this scene, I asked: “Lord, why did You appear behind John? Why not come down out of the clouds or walk across the water? Why use the ‘back door’?”[8]

Psalm 10:like a lion in cover he lies in wait.
He lies in wait to catch the helpless;
he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): Notice that the enemy is “like” a lion, which gives us keen insight into his strategies. Many lions hunt their prey when the prey is giving birth. A time of birthing is a vulnerable time, so be vigilant to protect it. Breathe on the promises of God. Shut the door to all distractions, and protect the promise once it has been birthed.

Marchaé Grair (19 Apr 20): Perhaps our calling in this moment isn’t to point fingers at the skeptics but to create a world where truth and love are so ever-present that skeptics no longer have to question if God is with us.

Victoria Boyson: Many give lip service to TRUSTING GOD, but it’s in the darkest moments that true faith is formed. The Word of God tells us our faith will be tested, so why are we surprised when it is? A faith that is built on the manifestation of the supernatural cannot always be trusted, but a faith that is built on a loving relationship of trust is unstoppable. When being in God’s will matters more to you than getting everything your way, you have a true relationship with Him. When you’ve tried everything you know to do and have nothing to hope in except the realization that your heavenly Father loves you, then you’ve discovered the key to everlasting JOY! When your love for Him matters more than your own safety, you’re unstoppable!

Brat (in “Snooze” 04 Apr 20): Lord, I ask for sanctuary where I can have a place in peace and quiet to process what You are saying.

Rev. Dr. Andrew Harmon: And when all the scriptures have been unpacked and interpreted, when all the loose ends have been tied up, a meal reinforces the point: the Lord is risen indeed. Amen.

Thomas Griffin (19 Apr 20): Again, I’m praying for your supernatural peace, that you would believe when you pray and ask for it and will receive it in greater measure than ever before. I’ve prayed a lot of unanswered prayers. A lot. But the prayer for peace has never been denied.

Rev. Dr. Andrew Harmon: If the Emmaus Road narrative teaches us anything, it is that God has a preferential option for brokenness, which we see repeatedly in the life, death, and ministry of Jesus. As Barbara Brown Taylor reminds us, Jesus seems to gravitate toward those whose lives are split open, either by sickness or loss or disappointment. It is in the cracks of our humanity that divine, resurrected life shines brightest. [9]

Psalm 10:13 Why does the wicked man revile God?
Why does he say to himself,
“He won’t call me to account”?

Johnny Enlow (20 Apr 20): I know many of you are concerned about the churches need to “repent” (frequently stated and frequently vague), but that is a nuance of repentance that will be forthcoming. Choosing right and rejecting wrong (repentance) is never off-topic. However, in the next stage of the Great Awakening, it will be the masses searching for Jesus. For this, we the Body of Christ, need to be united with open arms. It is not time for the deeper “in house” issues of the Church to be addressed. The just starting “age of reformation” will address those matters and they are important.[10]

Brat: O contraire on the point that this is not the time for the deeper “in house” issues of the Church to be addressed!  This is precisely the time for it!  The Arc Speak, gaslighting, stonewalling, talking over my head as if I don’t exist, and not coming to me directly, continues.  There is nowhere for the buck to stop.

When Light Came In (18 Apr 20): If they can keep it together at church, at work or on Main Street, they can keep together in their closest and most significant relationships.

Psalm 10:He lies in wait near the villages;
from ambush he murders the innocent.
His eyes watch in secret for his victims;

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): I’m not suggesting that you be critical about every person, but I am saying, be strategic. If you don’t, you may end up with a prolonged and delayed delivery, just as I experienced. If you take these steps in creating boundaries, this will allow you to focus intently on the contractions and deliver what God has assigned to you, rather than face delay.

Pastor Steve Dittmar (21 Apr 20): God is not on delay. He is waiting for us to agree with His greatness, His goodness, and His glorious name! We do that by praising Him. Faith rises as we praise, and we rise within His praise. Why wouldn’t we? We applaud the head—Christ, and we grow into Him. We are His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. We come out of our unbelief into the faith of Jesus![11]

Helen Cobanov (20 Apr 20): People of God, now is the time! We must not be silent. We must lift up our voices, pray and praise with passion, power, authority and victory over the enemy’s plans. I encourage you to declare Psalm 91 over yourself and your loved ones, daily. Now is the time to make time for Him and prepare for all He is doing and will do across the globe. This shaking is awakening His Bride to align with Him. Prepare, praise and pray, friends. This world needs Jesus and He is in you. Embrace this window of opportunity to reset, reposition and ready yourselves…for when the Lord opens the door…NO MAN CAN SHUT IT!

By George*: Turning around, John saw an overwhelming display of Jesus. John’s legs buckled as he saw Jesus’ face “like the sun shining in all its brilliance” (Rev. 1:16).

James W. Goll (20 Apr 20): Consider some of the promises for those who walk in this dimension. In the backdrop of dark night, they will shine brightly like the stars. They will cause people to look to Heaven. These shining ones will lead many to righteousness.

By George*: Why did God appear where John would have to adjust to see Him? John had to turn around to recenter and position himself for a fresh vision of the One he loved.

Psalm 116:16 O LORD, I am your servant; I am your servant, the child of your serving girl. You have loosed my bonds.

Anna Blake (20 Apr 20): Photo & Poem: Breakout

Our horses are not young, neither are we.
We negotiate with winter, bartering against
the wind that our horses might have shelter,
might have this small farm to hold them.

We’re hostage to them, more than they are
to us. We make ourselves useful, driving to
town to take jobs caring for others to pay
for the privilege of coming home to care

for our horses, hay through the long night.
On a Sunday in April, front entry locked,
we share a ritual. Leave the dry lot gate
unlatched as we walk to a hidden spot. One

gelding moves to investigate the usual clang
that was not heard, his nose nudges to test
and the gate swings wide. He hurries through,
his neck stretched pulling to the lawn, and the

other horses follow, to special grass so sweet
and thick that the gelding drops down to let his
body feel, grazing as he rests his legs, knowing
we watch. As free as either of us wants to be.[12]

Marchaé Grair (19 Apr 20): Prayer
Thank you for giving me something to believe in. Amen.

Psalm 116:17 I will offer to you a thanksgiving sacrifice and call on the name of the LORD.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (18 Apr 20): Thank You for everything, Lord Jesus!

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): It’s likely that you are surrounded by other people in labor right now. You’ve probably noticed that you are surrounded by the intensity of their problems, as others push through their own barriers and deliver the promises ordained for their own lives. But know this: You cannot labor for them. Again, you are going to need to ‘tune out’ the noise and focus in on what the Holy Spirit is breathing over you right now.

When Light Came In (20 Apr 20): Be gentle in this season, yes. And gently hold today’s little piece of life toward the light of your healing.

Brat: Excuse me, but who’s checking on the community of monks and nuns isolated in their monasteries?  They are isolated also, the world mimicking them as they have lived this way for centuries, and they are dependent on the outside.  Who reaches back to them?  They are intercessors and prayer warriors, too, and probably a big reason why the global death rate from the virus dropped to 3% from 5% since Passover.  That’s what I heard, anyway.  That is miraculous, and I’m sure God heard the rabbis’ prayers and responded.  I’m just sayn that the cloistered intercessors played a cosmic role also and they also should not be neglected.

Christian Harfouche (21 Apr 20): Breaking – Countdown to Your Encounter

Psalm 10:11 He says to himself, “God will never notice;
he covers his face and never sees.”

Victoria Boyson: The enemy raises up people willing to hate us and uses them as weapons to break us, yet, God says, “NO!” He turns the enemy’s weapons into an audience and puts on a SHOW OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU! He will make them watch while HE PREPARES A TABLE FOR YOU! (Psalm 23:5) He will DISPLAY HIS LOVE for you and make them watch! For, it was their attacks against you that made you the fearless warrior you’ve become.

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): Let us gather together at this table so you might glimpse it, dancing in the shadows as your faces shine in the lamplight. Let me feed you here, let me cleanse you. Let me be with you forever in this moment, even when I must go.[13]

Brat (in “Knock, Knock” 17 Apr 20): God, I pray for softness, compassion and reverence to come through the intent behind Your words:

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Rev. Dr. Andrew Harmon: It seems near impossible for those disciples not to have connected this supper with the last supper, when Jesus said he would not eat with them again until the Passover had been fulfilled. There seems to be too strong a connection with the two meals not to see a common bread, a common host. In this simple action of blessing, breaking, and giving of bread, we’re told, something dramatic happens. As Jesus tears apart that simple loaf, crumbs of disbelief and hopelessness fall to the ground. The disciples’ eyes, once clouded with tears, become open to the realities of the resurrection and the provisional character of death.

Rick Joyner (21 Apr 20): The American Founding Fathers believed and taught that protecting private property was essential for the stewardship Jesus taught about in The Parable of the Talents. Talents were a measurement of currency in Jesus’ time. Scripture states that “the whole earth belongs to The Lord” (see Exodus 19:5), so the resources He entrusts to us is a sacred trust. According to this Parable, the good stewards are the ones that increase and multiply what He entrusts to them.[14]

Psalm 116:18 I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people,

James W. Goll: Lord, we declare that heaven’s arsenal is waiting to be released in response to man’s invitation! So we lift our voices together and we ask that you release Messenger Angels to our cities and nations. We ask for the Guardian Angels to be released to protect our lives and families. We call for the Warrior Angels to come and fight against the powers of darkness hindering the Gospel of the Kingdom from manifesting in our regions.

Susan Michael (20 Apr 20): Join the Global Prayer Gathering from Jerusalem

Psalm 116:19 in the courts of the house of the LORD, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!

Rev. Dr. Andrew Harmon: With the sun setting on their hopes for Israel’s redemption, Cleopas and his companion are forced to acknowledge their lives broken open; their dreams scattered on that dusty highway. But it is precisely in that moment that Jesus comes alongside them, opens up the scriptures again, and reminds them afresh of the very foundations of their hope. The disciples hear the great narrative of God’s history-altering love from the lips of love himself.

From the Lectionary Readings for 3 Easter on 26 Apr 20: Psalm 116:1-4, 12-19

Psalm 116:1 I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): The Holy Spirit recently reminded me of my own physical labor with my second daughter, Sophie, and how there are some valuable lessons that can be applied spiritually from my experience (don’t worry – I won’t get graphic). From start to finish, my labor with her lasted three days. You read that right – THREE DAYS. Looking back, I realize I played into some distractions that essentially caused my labor to last longer than it should have.[1]

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): God provided a large fish to swallow up Jonah; and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Then Jonah prayed… – Jonah 1:17-2:1 (NRSV)

When Light Came In (20 Apr 20): With each intrusive thought, is my response moving me toward the life I want? Am I caring for myself?

Psalm 116:2 Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

When Light Came In (20 Apr 20): The life we’re building didn’t stop when quarantine started.

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): Jonah was in a time-out.

Marchaé Grair (19 Apr 20): I was in a severely emotionally abusive relationship. My abuser constantly made me question reality by lying to me to convince me that what I experienced never happened.

Psalm 116:3 The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish.

When Light Came In (18 Apr 20): Feelings don’t make people do things, choices do.

Marchaé Grair (19 Apr 20): As an emotional abuse survivor, I know a healthy amount of skepticism can be lifesaving. If I hadn’t started to question my ex’s stories, I wouldn’t have realized how they were manipulating me. When I demanded proof for things I hadn’t seen, it ultimately rescued me from a relationship that was destroying my emotional health.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Thomas spoke that hunger in this moment—I need to see and feel his resurrected body or I will never leave this room.

When Light Came In (18 Apr 20): This concept has changed my whole perspective while coparenting with a toxic ex. I used to struggle, grieve and have guilt and sympathy when he professed his love for the kids and his sadness over me leaving.

Brat (in “Knock, Knock” 17 Apr 20): [Sob.] I just went back to Phil’s blog.  Yesterday I had posted in every Holy Week comment box.  I was deeply moved by every one of his pieces.  My heart had been bare and vulnerable as I reached back to honestly engage, and today every single comment is gone as if I had never said a thing.  It feels like cosmic gaslighting.  It feels like the [spiritual] beast tried to swallow my voice again by just perpetuating the dysfunctional Silence.  Now I understand why last evening Sophia smelled gas, so we prayed against the spirit of gaslighting.

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): Time Out

Michelle Holderman: The time for extensive healing is upon you. Let the tears fall and let them express what you could never fully convey with your words. For I AM sending tears in this time as a great release.

Brat: It’s not like Phil’s my husband.  Jesus is.  The Church was supposed to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Marchaé Grair (19 Apr 20): As headlines about COVID-19 appear with rapid fire and officials give varying guidance, I’m hesitant to judge people who find themselves skeptical of leaders, questioning if the newest advice will be irrelevant an hour later. After years of a gaslighting administration, I think nationwide skepticism should be expected.

Brat: And the United Church of Christ has been gaslighting me for years.  Deflecting and projecting to the administration is a diversionary tactic.

When Light Came In (20 Apr 20): With each opportunity to respond to that toxic person, will I respond (or choose silence) in a way that supports the life I’m creating?

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Jesus comes to them, finds them where they are, enters their secret hideaway of fear and despair, and bids them peace.[2]

Brat (in “Who?” 31 Mar 20): The Arc Speak, gaslighting, stonewalling, talking over my head as if I don’t exist, and not coming to me directly, continues.  There is nowhere for the buck to stop.  There’s no income.  The priests and bishops literally turned their backs on me.  There is no way to hold anyone accountable.  There is no closure.  This simply remains a perpetual open wound…

Steve Shultz (20 Apr 20): More and more people, institutions and sometimes ministries are being exposed for the corruption that they are overseeing.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Our old lives have died.  They are never coming back.

Brat (19 Apr 20): Anyone who knows me and has been reading me for any length of time knows that I have been working at the library for the past thirteen years.  The pandemic caused the libraries to close and I have been laid off.  I had to apply for unemployment, but the State insists that I make a resume and apply for full-time work for as long as I am applying for unemployment benefits.  It doesn’t matter that we are on lockdown and no one is hiring.  It doesn’t matter that I expect the City to hire me back once the threat of death has cleared.  If I have to work full-time (or even look for work full-time), then that will take me away from my calling.  I won’t be able to write.  Is that what the holy remnant wants?

Steve Shultz (20 Apr 20): This is a time to “stay close to the Lord” and to “stay pure before Him”. Where you are able, abandon more things of the world in favor of the things of the Kingdom of God.

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): A professional prophet ought to know the impossibility of running from an omniscient, omnipresent boss. God kicked up a mighty storm against Jonah’s escape vessel, and when the sailors got wind that Jonah’s defiance was the cause, they wisely tossed him overboard.

Brat: Don’t push off on to God what should be the UCC’s responsibility of owning up to her defiance in the first place.  Are you feeling the storm against your own escape vessel?  God did send the prophet to you and she did not abdicate her calling and mission.  There is a thirteen-year daily log of evidence.

Lance Wallnau (18 Apr 20): Real Evidence

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): If you are in spiritual labor right now, and you can relate to the intensity of pressure in the spirit, you need to be VERY strategic and intentional about who you allow to come in close at this moment. Labor and birthing, even in the spirit, are both an intimate time and a vulnerable time. If you have a crowd of people that have full access to your life, you are going to need to close the door to all but one or two strategic cheerleaders at this moment. You cannot have people degrading you and laughing at you as you go through the contractions of birth. You need cheerleaders in the delivery room, not fear-mongers, mockers and distractors. There will even be those who may appear good, but want to ride on your delivery.

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): He was supposed to convert a city chock-full of notorious heathens, but decided it was mission impossible. So he got on the first ship sailing in the opposite direction.

Brat: Bringing up the Jonah story yet AGAIN is a power play so the Church doesn’t have to look at her own notorious heathenness.

Betty King (21 Apr 20): For the sake of power, or whatever it is that they desire, some have become motivated to ignore or even cut off the true voice of God where it would stop them from having what they want.

Victoria Boyson: Self-will will frighten us into the arms of our enemy, but the furnace of affliction will turn our ashes into a rod of IRON, a weapon of mass destruction to our enemies. Nebuchadnezzer was furious with the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, when they refused to bow down to his false God (Daniel 3), but it was their TRUST in God and LOVE for Him that made it impossible for them to consider saving their own lives at the risk of turning from Him. It wasn’t courage or gallantry that held them fast, but a relationship of love that made their faith unbreakable.[3]

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): People who can show those scars as evidence that God is at work in the places of death and fear.

Johnny Enlow (20 Apr 20): What is unique about this Great Awakening is that for the first time the global underbelly and satanic cult of death of society is being revealed to the masses. The “ground zero” multi-generational cult of death is being exposed and brought down. My wife Elizabeth and I were speaking just last night as to how many Scriptures read differently now in the light of present exposures. She was in Psalm 10 and that chapter seemed to address a very unique severe type of evil that seemed unimaginable but resonated today. Evil and even deep evil has always existed, but it seems for the first time it is not just known by sufferers in a few nations run by despots, but is becoming known by the masses.

Betty King (21 Apr 20): In this time of lockdown, many have asked questions of Jesus. At the same time, however, throughout the Body of Christ, there have been miraculous breakthroughs, people have been saved, and the creation is thankful for the break it has been given. His promises are still being fulfilled. Jesus is saying that we should let the signs we see bring hope. He’s saying to His Church, “I’ve got this.” The circumstances of the world are affecting many, and some are not responding in Christ but from their own points of view, but remember, Jesus has this.

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): COVID-19 has sent us to our rooms for a time-out. Maybe we will get religion too – meaning we face how we’ve ignored the Creator, how we’ve run amok, how we’ve caused storms, how we’ve been drowning in disobedience and insanity.

Psalm 116:4 Then I called on the name of the LORD: “O LORD, I pray, save my life!”

James W. Goll: Prayer and intercession influence and help determine the destinies of individuals and the direction of nations. Every prayer counts! What goes up must come down!

Steve Shultz: AND the exciting part is YOU get to co-labor with His promises over your life.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): Are you feeling a sudden and intense pressure in the spirit and don’t know why? Are you wondering why it feels as though you have been placed in a pressure cooker of sorts? Are you feeling worn out and ready to give up, wondering if you heard rightly from God for this season? And if so, why does it seem as though everything is upside down?

Johnny Enlow (20 Apr 20): The whole world is finding out that some of their favorite Hollywood “stars”, their “philanthropic” billionaires, their state-of-the-art social media purveyors, their “charitable” foundations for children, institutions allegedly for healthcare, even “religious” organizations and leaders, their “heroes” – are evil, abusers and even murderers of the worst kind. It’s a rude awakening! Evil doesn’t just look like a deranged Muslim terrorist. Evil dresses itself up, smiles at you, shakes your hand, says nice words to your face, and parades as your helper.[4]

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: How is it possible that such a low spiritual perception – when evil has the upper hand – is indicative of the Redemption? Either it is Divine Will, regardless of our logic and reality, or, specifically when the world will be at a very low ebb, G‑d will come with His infinite power and bring the Redemption, as the verse says, “For Myself I will do it.” (Isaiah 48:11)

Psalm 116:12 What shall I return to the LORD for all his bounty to me?

Brat (20 Apr 20): It was the Elijah List who shared the “Leaky Gut Syndrome” video with me.  I saw that as prophetic for the Church, too.

Kim Potter (21 Apr 20): I had to go to Lowe’s because I had a leak that needed fixing. While I was out, I ran into a farmer’s market to grab some vegetables. The way people were behaving shocked me! The atmosphere all over town disturbed me. It was filled with fear, anxiety and chaos. You could feel it and you couldn’t get away from it. My house is not like that. It is filled with peace and His presence, so this was a culture shock to me.[6]

Brat: To the untrained ear, who would know that this Arc Speak is also a form of gaslighting?

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): Prayer
Holy One, we pray to you from the belly of a pandemic. We don’t know how we will come out of this, but we pray we too will be converted.

When Light Came In (18 Apr 20): I look at the feelings bucket and allow myself to empathize, sympathize and pray for him (from a distance). I look at the distortions bucket and I allow myself to be annoyed or pissed off for a moment, then name the distortion, and reject it like an object Heimliched out of me.

Revelation 3:16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Matthew Laney (21 Apr 20): The fish vomited Jonah onto a beach. It wasn’t a pleasant way to exit. However, there were two ways out of that fish and I think God chose the better part. Regardless, Jonah was converted and did a bang-up job converting those notorious heathens.

Steve Shultz: Yes, God still has a plan for delivering your promises…even at this moment in time.

Christy Johnston (19 Apr 20): If any of this relates to you, then be encouraged; you are not going crazy and you have not missed God. You have, in fact, gone into labor to birth a new gift that God has prepared for you, and you are not alone. Many people are in this time of birthing right now. I saw a vision of multitudes across the Body of Christ who were heavily pregnant (I saw both men and women – as odd as that may sound). They were pregnant with new mantles, visions, strategies and destiny.

Helen Cobanov (20 Apr 20): God is opening our eyes. Yes, twenty-twenty (2020) vision means to see with clarity! He is showing us great things and shifting our perspective. He is using this opportunity, and everything that the enemy is trying to do, to help us to SEE as He sees. He is drawing us out of DARKNESS and into His wonderful LIGHT. He is shining a light on the enemy’s plans, exposing the enemy and his wicked schemes!

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): People who know they have been wounded but healed.

When Light Came In (20 Apr 20): With each body memory, am I using the skills I’ve learned to cope and heal? Am I responding in ways that support the life I desire?

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): And the reality of those wounds healed by the reality of God’s love is the proof of resurrection we will offer the world.

Psalm 116:13 I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD,

Helen Cobanov (20 Apr 20): Then I suddenly saw people running back into INTIMACY with the Father. As they did, His finger touched their hearts, reigniting a spark. I saw eyes light up as people remembered and came back to their first love. I saw dead weights, distractions, wrong agendas, thoughts and attitudes fall to the ground like stones, as the Lord breathed life upon hearts and lives, fanning into flame His promises, purpose and plans for them.

Rev Whitney Rice (19 Apr 20): Because it’s not just Jesus who was resurrected.  He brings us along with him.  That’s the whole point.

Psalm 116:14 I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.

John 20:21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): I took space by listening to music and reading books. It gave my mind a break from the manipulations and neglect, a wider, freer landscape to explore.

Anna Blake (17 Apr 20): When a horse looks away, either with his eyes or whole head and neck, it’s a calming signal. He feels pressure, sensing the person’s emotion or agitation, and wants the person to calm down. He sends a calming signal, this time half-closed eyes maybe, to let the human know he’s no threat. He’s flashing a peace sign. In the horse’s mind, he’s being clear and polite. [1]

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): Dance with Me in this season. Enjoy the waltz! Enjoy the adventure! Your heart is newer now than it has ever been before. Your life has more potential now than you have ever had because you have taken care to eliminate things from your character that displease Me. [2]

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion.

By Another Road (10 Apr 20): Look up.

He is unfurled
aloft,

Like a flag of surrender,
So that you might see, and know
It is finished.

Like a scroll,
So that you might read the lines on his skin and find the place
where it is written in rivulets of tears:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
I have been anointed to proclaim release.
And I am releasing—
I am giving up
my spirit.

A broken body
Arched like a question
inquiring into your frailty;
testing whether it is tolerable
For love to cost this much.

But if you will stay
In this place without answers
Then you will learn that the
rending and the mending of the world
are two notes of the same song.

You will learn that there is no such thing
as dispassionate salvation
or tentative redemption.

And how in the Divine economy
everything is given
And returned
Eternally.

You will learn that nothing is ever wasted
even when waste is the only credible conclusion.
Even when all the evidence suggests defeat.

You will learn that victory is not the same as winning;
that truth is not the same as certainty;
And that peace is not the same as pleasure.

But all of this is offered now, only now,
On this desiccated and necessary hill,
The final bequeathment of a dying God
Who cannot teach you the secrets of eternity
Without entering finitude.

Look up, into his face.

Look up, and see how he is grieving all of your endings.

Look up, and see how he is dying all of your deaths.

Look up, and see the world pass into something new.

Look up.[3]

Brat (17 Apr 20): This poem was powerful and undid me.

Lord Jesus, I see Your face and broken body on the scroll of my mind, heart, and eyes.  It is not tolerable for love to cost this much.  I wait for the ‘secrets of eternity’ to be revealed in the present.  You promised that you would not leave one behind.

Acts 1:11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): But I say to you, I am alive! I am walking with you and talking with you right now, today–and you do not see Me! I am giving you revelation right now and you have not known it was from Me. I am in lock-step with you, walking with you where you are going; for it was all part of My plan from the beginning!

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): Oh, beloveds, how I have loved you, ever since my breath first swept across the waters, ever since I molded you from dust. How I have longed to be known by you.

John 20:22 When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): Recognize the force of My work in you! Recognize the power of it! I am raising you up! I am resurrecting you, right along with My Son Jesus! Oh, feel the wind in your hair as I breathe deeply into your lungs with the refreshing, rejuvenating, resurrecting breath of My Spirit!

John 20:23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): You need to understand that you have hope because I AM HOPE. I am the fullness of everything you want and everything you desire. And I have established your new beginnings.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny.

Brat (16 Apr 20): I reach out and get more Silence.  THAT is Purgatory.  It is my heart of mercy to respond in courageous Love.  Where?  I respond to pastors, prophets, priests, bishops, and rabbis and I get more silence. This has been going on for ten years.  There is no relationship when it is one-sided. [https://truthinus.wordpress.com/]

Rabbi Shaul Leiter (17 Apr 20): They should have behaved like “part of the household”. And that is a general rule of thumb in Divine service. Sometimes what G-d wants from us is to just to behave like a mentch.

Deborah Adam (16 Apr 20): Christ’s Love, Peace & Joy to the Nations

Brat: How may I bless you?

Ben Peters (17 Apr 20): This is, indeed, a request that the Father loves to grant. As children of our heavenly Father, we ought to be asking Him for spiritual sight. We need to see other people and situations through His eyes and not our earthly eyes. The statement “We are fighting an invisible enemy” is truly prophetic. But we need to ask God for the supernatural ability to see our enemy and discern what he is doing or trying to do.[4]

By Another Road (8 Apr 20): And here, finally, in the cool of another evening, we experience the ultimate futility of hiding from him; there is no more time for our pitiable facades.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): Man looks at the outside appearance, but I look at the heart. I am the only One who can look at your heart; not even you can see it properly. And I have found such beauty in your heart that I have decided to reward you.

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): First, I took space in the same home by taking my heart back. Which meant I stopped expecting him to act different than he’d demonstrated, and accepted I was the only one in the marriage who would love me.

Dutch Sheets (17 Apr 20): Ask Him to raise up a fresh wave of the Appeal to Heaven movement. We cannot stop praying now. We must press into Him for angelic assistance until we see the battle won.[5]

Anna Blake (17 Apr 20): There is nothing mystical about calming signals, they’re no more complicated than learning Spanish. I think it’s listening that we don’t understand.

Brat: Que no puedes?

By Another Road (8 Apr 20): Following Jesus is partly an attempt to reckon with those questions, even if our answers are fumbling.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): “Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ARE DETAINED IN PURGATORY, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice.”

Rabbi Shaul Leiter (17 Apr 20): There is a hint here to something that is a universal truth for all of us. No matter what a parent tries to teach their children, in general a child does primarily what he sees his parent do more quickly than what his parent tells him to do. And sadly, this relates to not such good things as well as good things. So it comes out that when a parent succeeds in going in the way of G-d that our holy Torah teaches, most often their children also follow in their parents’ footsteps. Then, after a long and good life when we are in Heaven, our children continue to bring us merit by their actions.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): Oh, I am beyond excited about what I am doing! So excited! I am restoring the years the locusts have eaten. I am rendering honor to you where none was rendered before. Look for it; watch for it! Look for My honor as I pour it out on your head!

By Another Road (12 Apr 20): As we live into the reality of this unusual Eastertide, I find myself kneeling in the garden with Mary Magdalene, having experienced such a collision of grief and happiness that my soul feels stretched beyond its capacity. But I am choosing to trust that in the stretching, there is the shape of joy. In the stretching, Christ is forming me into something new. Something that can contain a bit more of the vastness of God’s dream, wherein Resurrection finds its source and endpoint.[6]

Ben Peters (17 Apr 20): He will answer that prayer of Jesus that has been prayed millions of times by His Church on Earth today. I also believe it’s being prayed for by the cloud of witnesses, who understand the need for unity and the power of unity in the Church by the unction of the Holy Spirit.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): If you will look, you will see that you are so healed that you can move forward while embracing those things from your past as part of your story! You will even be able to enjoy the new parts of your life that are related to those old things–without trauma!

John 20:24 But Thomas (who was called the Twin), one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): You are not alone. I say it again: You are NOT alone!

Anna Blake (17 Apr 20): Listening requires patience and a shift in perspective. We need to see the horse’s side, but not as it relates to our emotions or agenda. Let that go. Horses only care about how they feel. We must prioritize the horse’s concerns and acknowledge that the things that matter to horses matter to us, too. It doesn’t come naturally to predators. It takes a conscious effort but once you do that, it’s amazing how many seemingly unrelated training issues disappear.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): Your dreams have died, but I have not–and your true dream has been hidden in Me all along.

By Another Road (6 Apr 20): So, like springtime, like the exuberant wildflowers bending to kiss the dark soil, with the gratitude of one who has perceived the true cost of Love, thus has Mary poured out her gift. Thus has she anointed God with her necessary offering, for his necessary offering which is to come.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): You need to know that I am rewarding your heart.

John 20:25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe.”

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): The Lord Says, “Do Not Doubt My New Beginnings!”

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): Today, we want to pray for something that can be difficult. We want to pray that we have mercy on others. We want us to pray that we will never hold a grudge or refuse forgiveness.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): You can move forward now, not as a slave but as free; not in bondage but in freedom and joy. You can have the things that you love back!

Anna Blake (17 Apr 20): It was always about the horse’s anxiety. When the horse tells us that he’s no threat, we have to understand it means we are the threat. When we relieve that anxiety in ways a horse understands, the horse will finally feel safe. Training becomes obsolete. He’ll work with his whole heart to do anything you ask because he knows his worth. You become trust-worthy together.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): This doesn’t mean to go back to people that I have removed from your life; but you have blocked off various aspects of your life and personality–things that used to give you joy–because even thinking about them brought up bad memories. You don’t need to do that anymore! You don’t need to hide, fear, or be ashamed! You are FREE!

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): I took space by saying nice things to my heart. It felt silly and ridiculous. I felt embarrassed. After years of not being complemented besides in front of people (so he looked good), I sucked at hearing compliments. I did it anyway, awkwardness and all.

Rabbi Curt Landry (in “These Holy Ones” 16 Apr 20): There is no one answer to this other than that we need to listen to the Holy Spirit. Yes, it IS time to speak, but we HAVE TO be sure we are speaking Kingdom things. By listening to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, we not only know what to speak, but when we are to speak, and to whom.

Brat: We have to listen to God and each other.  It’s not one-sided.  It’s relational.  Not once have you mentioned that we could ask questions and have a conversation.

When Light Came In (15 Apr 20): That’s why it’s called spiritual bypassing. It takes the concept of Spirit and uses it to circumvent belief in ourselves and others. To abandon ourselves and others, and ignore the very real situations and emotions we face.

Brat: Thank you!

Anna Blake (17 Apr 20): Words are only noise. Listen to his body. Then answer with yours.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): We need God’s mercy so much! Let’s pray that we can be like Jesus in being exceedingly generous with the mercy that we show to others.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): I have washed and healed your memories.

Anna Blake (17 Apr 20): Rule one: human logic rarely works on humans and almost never on horses. We overthink in our frontal lobe, intellectually or emotionally. Horses don’t have the same frontal lobe; they don’t tell themselves stories about training humans. Horses exist in their physical awareness in their body. Survival depends on their acute senses focusing on the environment. If we want to converse with a horse, we need to use that same part of our brain. We need to stop intellectualizing and be more aware. Let the first question be about them. Then, listen from that place. Politely wait for his answer.

John 20:26 A week later his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were shut, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): My beloved, do not doubt the newness of My work in you right now.

John 20:27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Do not doubt but believe.”

Brat: But Thomas didn’t poke.  He bowed in awe.

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): I have come from across eternity to kneel before you. To breathe across this water. To wash the earth from your feet of dust.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): If so, the Lord says to you today: “Do not doubt My new beginnings! I am bringing things full-circle!

John 20:28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): Do the same, always, in remembrance of me.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): You ARE moving forward. My plans for you are concrete and they are happening, for you have obeyed Me in everything. Even though you have been concerned that you might have “missed it,” you have not missed anything.

John 20:29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): And finally, I took space by stating my boundaries, calmly, without repeating them, whenever he tried to start fights or bait me with the behaviors that hurt most. Then I walked away. **If you fear for your safety, have your safety plan ready before doing this one. Message me or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline if you need help making a plan.**

By Another Road (7 Apr 20): It is not the answer he wanted. Not the path he might have chosen. But we come to understand, in time, that our lives, lived most deeply, are not completely our own. And when the hour comes and the wait is over–when that existential answer arrives–it will inevitably lead us out, beyond the familiar and deadening malaise, beyond safety, to the place where our heart will be pierced and our eyes will be opened. The place of pure, unmediated Life.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): I will say it again and again until you hear it: I have established your new beginnings!

By Another Road (8 Apr 20): He understands, even when we do not: only love and death, now. Only the integrity of naked flesh, and wood, and stone, now. In them, we will finally face ourselves. In them, all truth will be revealed.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): Amen.

John 20:30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): I took space by writing. It was freedom for me, a place outside his control. In fact writing was a big reason I ultimately left… It helped me see his constant refrain of “you don’t make any sense” was not at all true.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): I have embraced you while you have cried. I have held your hand as you mourned. Now is the time to take off your sackcloth and realize that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you! And if He raised Jesus from the dead, then LIFE is who He is and LIFE is what He must bring!

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): I am the unkillable offering. I give you myself so that you will know how, even if you do not know why.

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): We can still uphold healthy boundaries during quarantine. There’s space to be found, even in close quarters, when we tap into our own mind, body and abilities.

By Another Road (12 Apr 20): So, we must consider what we mean by joy, and Easter joy in particular. Not mere happiness, but perhaps, instead, a fullness. Fullness of life. Fullness of presence, both God’s presence and our own. A fullness that contains happiness, yes, but also grief, and confusion, and wonder, and mercy, and everything else that emanates from the deep heart of Life. A fullness that sustains us even when our pleasures feel meagre, as they sometimes do.

Brat (in “Knock, Knock” 17 Apr 20): … My blog is a living testimony, not a suffocating ornamentation in the dysfunctional Silence.  It is not a burden, as it has kept me alive and engaged when leaders didn’t care enough to care.

John 20:31 But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in His name.

From the Lectionary for 2 Easter on 19 Apr 20: John 20:19-31.  (Broken into two pieces.)

John 20:19 When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (16 Apr 20): Kathryn – Peace be with you!

Mary Pezzulo (16 Apr 20): We are trapped in our homes. We can’t see our family or throw a party except among ourselves. The feeling in the whole world is grim and terrible, traumatic. That terrible death toll doesn’t seem to have peaked yet. People are dying right and left. And in the middle of it, we can’t even go to church. We can’t take solace in the sacraments– I haven’t even received the Eucharist in weeks. [1]

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): Creating space to uphold boundaries is possible, even in quarantine.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): Have you been feeling like the Lord is doing something new in your life … but then second-guessing yourself, thinking, “Nah, probably not”? Maybe you’ve even thought it seems too big to be true?[2]

By Another Road (7 Apr 20): Our entire life can be spent waiting for something to happen. Waiting for *that* thing to happen, the one we can’t quite name: the consummation of an unarticulated desire; the answer to a half-posed question, caught in our throat like a crumb of daily bread.[3]

Brat (17 Apr 20): I am still waiting for *that* thing to happen.  I let go of my tribe.  I let that go thinking that God would surely bring it back.  That’s what love does.  One lets go so the love can have a choice to fly back.  But she didn’t.  She didn’t care.

By Another Road (5 Apr 20): You know that anxious feeling of entry into something unfamiliar and inevitable, like the first day of school or that difficult conversation you simply can’t put off? The dry mouth and the churning gut? The sweat on the back of your neck?[4]

Brat (17 Apr 20): My articulated desire was an honest conversation and not bullying one minute and then hiding the next.  But all I got was more grinding Silence.

Rabbi YY Jacobson (in “Attested” 14 Apr 20): This is the idea of the Caesar and half-Caesar during the time of Moshiach: Moshiach will not only be a Caesar, creating an unprecedented, unmatched and unparalleled revolution unlike anything previously in history; his revolution will be one that is fully integrated in the consciousness of people, one that will resonate within our own souls and hearts. He will not only be a “Caesar,” creating an opening in a closed wall, but also a “half-Caesar,” creating openings that don’t seem radical at all, since they resonate so deeply. He will penetrate walls, which when penetrated reveal themselves to be no walls at all. Yes, he will break open walls, but only those which are blockages eclipsing our true inner alignment with infinity and oneness. In this he embodies the legacy of the first King David, a great revolutionary indeed, but one who worked and operated within the structure and framework of the people, not destroying them, but enhancing them. [5]

By Another Road (7 Apr 20): In Tuesday’s Scripture, Jesus does this. He accepts his own, pivotal role in that mysterious purpose: to be lifted up and poured out, revealing an unending effusion of mercy sourced in the headwaters of creation.

Brat (in “Attested” 14 Apr 20): Speaking of flood, look below at what just “flooded” into my inbox this morning!  The sacred is in the ordinary.  I haven’t seen Phil for two months.  Thank You for establishing what has already been attested to by making it obvious.

Angie Stolba (14 Apr 20): “Do not despise your weakness, rather lean into Me all the more. I am ready and willing to help you!

Brat (in “Make It Secure” 8 Apr 20): Holy Spirit, I bless You and I bless Your LIGHT!  Make Your wedding feast so obvious and irresistible that Your lovers would run to You!  Bless the feet of Your messengers.  Open everyone’s eyes to see this harvest banquet is here.  We run into Your open arms, Jesus!  The nations are longing for Your presence.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): I know your heart and I know you. I know you better than anyone else in the world, and I know that your heart is totally submitted to me. Even when you struggle with your emotions sometimes, you love Me and I know it. You have cooperated with My Spirit and have let Me transform you; and indeed, I am still transforming you.

Brat (17 Apr 20): I don’t know whom else to ask for help.

Mary Pezzulo (16 Apr 20): I don’t know if that’s just my weird quirk, or if other people feel like that– in ordinary years, I mean. But I think that many of us might feel like that this year.

By Another Road (5 Apr 20): Palm Sunday has a feverish quality, like infatuation that has convinced itself that it’s love. It is desire without generosity. Longing without trust.

John 20:20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): I took space by taking my body back. Strengthening my body, doing push ups, planks, sit ups, and walking the neighborhood. It boosted my confidence, and my connection with my own body.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): I am alive, and I am working in your situation–but you have not believed it! You have not seen Me yourself in this situation yet, so you have let your faith diminish. In some cases, you have lost hope completely!

By Another Road (6 Apr 20): Extravagance is only harmful when it gathers bounty toward oneself, into the bottomless void of a misunderstood hunger. The extravagance of giving is the only possible satiation.[6]

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): My child, I have seen every tear and sacrifice.

By Another Road (6 Apr 20): Help me now, Lord, in my fear of your Cross, and of my own. Allow me to rest at your feet. Allow me to gather what beauty I can, and then to offer it back; to let the blossoms loose and fall, as they must: an anointing of the earth, a making way, so to bear the fruit not yet tasted.

Brat (17 Apr 20): Was fear of the cross why the Church and I couldn’t be friends?  Was it extravagance that caused Laodicea to not care and devour what was shared into an abyss?  Even in the extravagance of giving, she was never satiated.

Revelation 3:17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Brat (17 Apr 20): Holy Lord, Anointed One, receive my hot tears of devotion and love on Your calloused hands.  Receive my love that cares beyond caring.

Anna Blake (17 Apr 20): We were taught to march in with a stick and correct everything horses do. We ask-tell-make them go when they aren’t ready. I’ve watched people land in a round pen like a helicopter, terrify the horse to near collapse, and then make a list of bad behaviors that hadn’t existed before. Have we always been so arrogant? We only prove we’re predators. Some of us rebelled from those methods and became overtly loving. Now we invade their space and lurk, acting like stalking coyotes. Predators again and predators are famous for thinking it’s all about them.[7]

When Light Came In (16 Apr 20): I found this out in the last few years of my marriage to an emotionally abusive partner. Back when I couldn’t see a way out and I was still living with him, trying hard, praying hard, loving more, and sinking into depressive despair.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): You have been sad, but I have snuck up on your sadness with joy. I have come to bring you joy! You didn’t even know I was there, but look again, for I am defeating your sadness with My manifest presence.

Mary Pezzulo (16 Apr 20): The message of Holy Week is that Christ is not separated from us, no matter how deeply we suffer– no matter how nightmarish, how traumatic, how scandalous, how pointless, how embarrassing, or even how boring our suffering is. Even if we should descend into Hell, He is there. The message of this Octave of Easter is that the suffering is not the end. All of this has a meaning, an ending and a redemption. It’s going to get better, and it’s going to be worthwhile. You will be happy, and that happiness will not go away. Even if you’re still feeling the trauma of Holy Week, that trauma will end.

By Another Road (5 Apr 20): As we stand at the roadside, or peer from our windows, at the man who enters our midst on a donkey, let us be mindful of all that we still project onto him, all the ways we demand him to solve the heartbreaks and hatreds of our own creation. He comes to illuminate suffering, but not to erase it. He comes to show us life, but we must still traverse through the narrow gate that leads there. When we cry Hosanna, when we wave the branch, we are greeting a very different sort of salvation than the one we privately hoped for. If we truly understood it, its magnitude and its cost, we would likely fall silent as he passed by.

Brat (17 Apr 20): In the ‘irony of ripping branches’ I felt like the Church broke trust by inflicting upon me my bruises through her projections.  She trampled my tender green.  Honesty was missing.  There was no place for me in her boughs.  What may have started as infatuation, was really a love seed planted there by the Holy Spirit. God loves His Churches enough to not let them stay the way they are.

Revelation 2:Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Tony Robinson (18 Apr 20): Note this: called by name changes everything. But you don’t stay there. “Don’t cling to me,” he told Mary. Let me go, and you too must go. With every call comes a commission, a task. That’s the way it is with this God. Every turning moment turns us outward, toward the journey, toward others who need us, toward the world that needs us.

By Another Road (11 Apr 20): In between beginnings, I must learn to live in interims.

And today I am here, in that shadow-place at the intersection of memory and hope,
The dove-grey moment
when the past ebbs, unreachable
and the cloud bears no hint of light.

Where have you gone, my beloved?

I wait, and yes, I grieve
the yet-unsatisfied promise
But I also find that

shadows cast their own illumination over those who pause to consider–
who ponder in their heart–
the saintliness of not knowing;
The beatitude of contingency.

And as the night enfolds understanding
As your absence drapes over me like a mantle of fog
I perceive how needed it is
To say goodbye, and to mean it

To let this waiting be its own solace
Its own teacher
Its own revelation of the
unchanging liminality
at the heart of my restless heart.

After the going and before the coming
There is simply this,
The sufficient poverty of now,
And that must always be enough
Or nothing ever will.

Son, behold your mother
in repose
in recollection
in the resilience you required of her
wild as the sea-grass
Bending
in solitude
But rising
in strength.[8]

Brat (17 Apr 20): Our Lady of Solitude, in the ‘sufficient poverty of now,’ I wait for the Church to remember these, the least of them, the least of us, of the Seven Churches poor in spirit.  Did Laodicea not know her ‘beatitude of contingency’?

Where have you gone, my beloved?

Mary Pezzulo (16 Apr 20): The last time I received the Eucharist was Saturday, March Eighth, in the middle of Lent. I felt a little too sick to go to Mass, not with anything contagious but with a moderate case of my usual fibromyalgia aches. It wouldn’t have been wrong to stay home, especially since I knew I’d be taking the bus to the vigil and walking back. But felt like I couldn’t stay away, and I went. There weren’t any low-gluten Hosts, but there was a celiac chalice, and the priest knows me by sight so it wasn’t difficult to get in line and receive from it. For some reason I took an extra big gulp.

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): Let us gather together at this table so you might glimpse it, dancing in the shadows as your faces shine in the lamplight. Let me feed you here, let me cleanse you. Let me be with you forever in this moment, even when I must go.[9]

Brat (17 Apr 20): God, I pray for softness, compassion and reverence to come through the intent behind Your words:

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): And so, as you have said to me so often through the cascading generations, I now say to you:

Here Am I.
I Am Here.

Revelation 3:21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Mary Pezzulo (16 Apr 20): All this talk about Resurrection and glory, but we’re still here on the ungodly mess that is the fallen Earth. Once in awhile, at the Easter vigil when we’re all singing our Alleluias, I feel carried away to Heaven, but the rest of the Easter season can tend to feel sad. He is risen, and I’m not yet. That’s something that’s going to happen, but for the moment it hasn’t.

By Another Road (9 Apr 20): Begin to understand, beloved ones, that there are things more precious than that which you can hold onto. You must begin to see the strange inversion of Truth: how service is power; how love is relinquishment; how death opens us to life.

Mary Pezzulo (16 Apr 20): Here it is, the octave of Easter, and we can’t even have the Body of Christ.

By Another Road (8 Apr 20): Thus we find Judas, the “spy” of Spy Wednesday, peering out from behind his mask of virtue while rage, or jealousy, or longing, roils deep within. We don’t know precisely why he betrays Jesus, and that unknowability, that unbreakable facade is, itself, part of his tragedy–and ours. Empathy is only possible when we see below the surface. Without it, we are lost to one another, as Judas is lost to us.[10]

Mary Pezzulo (16 Apr 20): If you feel nothing but letdown, trauma and exhaustion right now– that is also an Easter feeling. That is the feeling of the women who went to the tomb and could not find the Body of Christ.

By Another Road (8 Apr 20): But we should not dispose of him so easily, lest we exempt ourselves from the questions his story poses. Do any of us fully understand why we harm one another? Can we ever discern the exact balance of love and fear that motivate our daily choices? Is there a way to break free from the artifice, the suffocating ornamentation, under which we have burdened and betrayed ourselves?

Brat (17 Apr 20): I admit, that in peering out from behind my mask of virtue, as the dysfunctional Silence drones on, I experienced rage, or jealousy, or longing, that roiled deep within.  There was no closure.  It took a while and much prayer to find empathy below the surface after the ambush.  All I saw was more Arc Speak to my blog [https://truthinus.wordpress.com/].  Nothing personal.  Just like betrayal.  My blog is a living testimony, not a suffocating ornamentation in the dysfunctional Silence.  It is not a burden, as it has kept me alive and engaged when leaders didn’t care enough to care.

By Another Road (7 Apr 20): It is all-too-easy, though, to let this waiting be sufficient. To exist in a state of vague expectancy, neither starved nor nourished, having grown accustomed to glancing at life–at ourselves and one another–indirectly, furtively, never head-on.

Jamie Rohrbaugh (16 Apr 20): The time of mourning and discouragement is over.

Brat (18 Apr 20): [Sob.] I just went back to Phil’s blog.  Yesterday I had posted in every Holy Week comment box.  I was deeply moved by every one of his pieces.  My heart had been bare and vulnerable as I reached back to honestly engage, and today every single comment is gone as if I had never said a thing.  It feels like cosmic gaslighting.  It feels like the beast tried to swallow my voice again by just perpetuating the dysfunctional Silence.  Now I understand why last evening Sophia smelled gas, so we prayed against the spirit of gaslighting.

By Another Road (7 Apr 20): But today we must let that go. We must risk an encounter with the emerging fullness of God’s purpose for us.

John 20:21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

These Holy Ones 16 Apr 20

[10 pages]

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (15 Apr 20): In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Nate Johnston (12 Apr 20): Imagine what that moment would have been like when Jesus returned to heaven, having finished what He set out to do. The God who created us, dying in our place and returning to His place of honour with the Father. What kind of love is this?!

Acts 1:11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Sylvia Neusch: You Must Untether to Launch Out

Psalm 16:1 Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): Sometimes we try to beat down doors that God, in His infinite protection to save our butts, has “locked that no man can unlock” (Rev. 3:7) for our GOOD?

Sylvia Neusch: I felt the Lord saying that there are no pre-made maps or charts to tell us where we are headed. We may have prophetic words that serve as signposts along the way, but they are “in part” and not the total picture. We are totally dependent on His voice to lead us and guide us into the unknown waters.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): WHO [World Health Organization] Chief Caught With Hindu Idol of Destruction in Meeting With China

[Grrr…]

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): Yet, there may be times when we hear in part. For instance, we might realize that God has spoken something to us but we might not know when to speak it out. Or we could sense that we are to speak something out at a certain time or place but fail to hear what we are meant to speak until God’s perfect timing. In either case, we HAVE to reset our focus on God. In these times we may need to pray to break down walls we have raised between us and Heaven, but other times we need to take time to sit and wait upon the Lord.

Brat (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): The bottom line is that I am asking for help in defeating this calloused beast of perpetual and dysfunctional Silence that breeds more strife.  …

Daniel Pontious: I heard the Holy Spirit declare that He is “Breaking off the spirit of Barrenness from many in this season.”

Kathie Walters (16 Apr 20): I was a little dubious, and asked God, “What are the gifts? Are they for me?” God said, “My people need to receive what I want to give, so I am releasing gifts of faith – miracles and healings and supernatural deliverances. Not only that, but finances. People need cars and houses and need to go to places I am calling them, so I am releasing gifts of faith.[1]

Jeremiah 48: Since you trust in your deeds and riches,

you too will be taken captive,
and Chemosh will go into exile,
together with his priests and officials.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): …BTW, I happen to think my whole life is “ministry,” the priest-led-system-of-altar-sacrifice is over (Hebrews 10), and we’re ALL living “altars,” or “temples” (1 Cor. 3), if we will receive it. But don’t get me started…

When Light Came In (15 Apr 20): They may look the same on the outside, but inside they’re complete opposites.

Brat Journal (in “Emergency Campaign” 28 Mar 20): “It is very weird.  I am still writing and posting to my blog [truthinus.wordpress.com].  The Arc Speak continues every day, but nothing gets resolved.  The quiet on the outside seems reflected on my insides.  I’ve never seen the Word of God have so little power among people who proclaim to believe.  It is creepy, like the beast absorbed the light for itself, so that the world would be in Jesus’ grave before Easter and the resurrection.  But this is a set up to confront the fear of death, not to actually be the death penalty for a society that killed God.  There is an amazing amount of mercy in this, as seen through rabbi’s eyes.”

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): “This is what he said: ‘The fourth beast [means]—there will be a fourth kingdom upon the earth which will be different from all the kingdoms; it will devour the whole earth, tread it down, and crush it.” Daniel 7:23 (The Israel Bible™)

Daniel Pontious: While Barrenness often has to do with child bearing, I sensed that it was referring to more than just that, but it was referring to the sowing of seed all the way across the spectrum. The spirit of Barrenness, not only attacks the womb, but it also attempts to make the Seeds of Faith unable to bear any fruit in your life as well.

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): God wants us to know Him; to seek Him. That is why He said to knock, so that He might open the door; to seek Him, so that we might find Him (see Matthew 7:7-8). He loves us, and His giving us a gift of speaking like Him, particularly in such a time and season, is such a beautiful message of trust.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): So, either the Word’s wrong or we are… Here’s the point I’m getting to– Anyone who’s sat in church for awhile knows the word-study behind that scripture in Matthew 7:7-8. It’s basically, this: Ask (and KEEP asking), knock (and KEEP knocking), seek (and KEEP seeking…)

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): Still, how can we be wholly positive that it is the Holy Spirit we are hearing and not ourselves or others? The best way to know if we are hearing the Holy Spirit and not another voice is to examine it by the Word. Does what we are hearing align with who God is and what is written in His Word? If so, then it is likely the Holy Spirit speaking, but if not, then we can know with certainty that it is false.[2]

Brat Journal (14 Apr 20): …This is my brother, for Christ’s sake!  And I mean that as a prayer!  She couldn’t pray for him, but just had to go to pity (“Oh, that’s too bad,”) and then problem-solving?  I had to go pray for 1 ½ hours to just cool off and breathe it out.  I just wanted to scream.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): Bottom line: We ended up praying for that dear lady for 50 minutes. Ten minutes short of an hour! Can you imagine? And somehow, that entire small circle hung in there with me the whole time. (Lot’s of dead-horse-whipping, but they hung in there.)

Sylvia Neusch: He said, “These things you cannot take with you. They will weigh you down and cause your boat to sink.” I watched as He threw un-forgiveness, control, fear of man, jealousy, self-promotion, and comparison overboard into the sea. I felt the Spirit of God underlining the importance of getting rid of the weights, and that each heart would need to seek Him to identify the weights they might be carrying that cannot go into this new era.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): A photo posted to Twitter over one year ago by the head of the World Health Organization appears benign at first glance but a closer look reveals that the image depicts a meeting between the WHO and a Chinese organization focused on the domination of global markets. Even more disturbing is that the meeting is being overseen by the statue of the Hindu goddess known as Shiva the Destroyer.[3]

[Grrr…]

Daniel Pontious (16 Apr 20): While Knowledge is a great thing to possess, not just in the natural world, but the spirit realm as well, the Wisdom of God is even more important than all of the Knowledge we can accumulate.

Psalm 16:2 I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from You.”

Charisma (16 Apr 20): The remnant church is rising in this hour. The characteristics of this church within the church are clear if you pay attention.

When Light Came In (04 Apr 20): We’re taking it all back. Every single aspect that was stolen. And together, we’re changing the narrative. We’re using our voices for our daughters and friends. This process, where the light comes in.

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): We simply long for one cup that pours out joy. For one portion that we can share. For one lot that includes love.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): So, again, at that point, there were just a few hardcore folks left at church. And, as you can imagine, these were the folks who probably considered themselves a little more spiritually faithful-and-mature than the rest of those “wimps” who had gone home early. (Yeah, like needing sleep before work makes you a wuss. Whatever.) So we started to pray for this dear lady…

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): A photo has resurfaced showing a high-level meeting between World Health Organization Officials and Chinese health officials. The photo was posted in January 2019 on the twitter feed of Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus who has served as the Director-General of the World Health Organization since 2017. Inexplicably, prominently displayed at the head of the table is a statue of the Hindu goddess, Shiva, also known as “Shiva the Destroyer.”

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): After all, they all knew this lady. She’d been totally blind in that eye for over a decade. I mean, holy cow!? Couldn’t Pastor Tom see she was in a wheelchair?

Jeremiah 48: Moab will be praised no more;
in Heshbon people will plot her downfall:
‘Come, let us put an end to that nation.’
You, the people of Madmen, will also be silenced;
the sword will pursue you.

Revelation 2:16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): There are times when God gives us a word and we ARE to speak it out, while other times it is only to one or two people, or even holding the word until God allows us to release it. When we know that we know that God has given us a big or exciting word, it can be easy to want to tell everyone…but not everyone is at the same season. Not everyone is meant to be a part of that word, or a part of it at the time we receive it. There is a time and season for everything and everyone, and sometimes, even in times of speaking, God will have us be silent about something to protect the word, or to protect others.

When Light Came In (15 Apr 20): In the other, these beliefs are used to breed aloneness and helplessness. They become an excuse for us to stay in damaging, toxic situations too long, to both blame and abdicate responsibility for ourselves.

Daniel Pontious: There’s an expansion taking place while Barrenness is being broken, so even while things may seem as though you’re in a desert and alone for the moment, what God is doing in you is going to be expansive and life giving to all of the Seed in your life (your natural children and the Seeds of Faith) for the Lord is going to cause you to sow into those places of desert and famine where you will receive a 100 times as much as you sowed!!!

When Light Came In (on) Facebook (04 Apr 20): We’re reclaiming all of it. Every last note and inflection of our inner voice.

Charisma (16 Apr 20): The Plumb Line: The Remnant: Scrappy, Future-Oriented Kingdom Carriers

Psalm 16:3 As for the holy ones in the land, they are the noble, in whom is all my delight.

Sophia Valentina Buller (16 Apr 20): NO LONGER WILL THE WICKED PERSON BE CALLED NOBLE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Brat: Lord, we are a living Gospel and testimony to You.

Daniel Pontious (16 Apr 20): Knowledge gives us access to the problems we are facing, but it is the Wisdom of God that unveils the Solutions to every problem we could ever have. With so many people chasing after Revelation Knowledge now, along with the greater Revelations to impress other people, the Power that Gods Wisdom brings forth is often forgotten until they enter into a situation that there seems to be no way out of.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): Shiva is one of the principal deities of Hinduism and is known as “The Destroyer” within the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity that includes Brahma and Vishnu. In Hinduism, Shiva represents a duality of being both a benefactor and a malignant destroyer.

Psalm 16:4 Those who choose another god multiply their sorrows; their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out or take their names upon my lips.

Brat (16 Apr 20): I felt and heard the tears of saints crying under the altar again last night.  That means that someone in leadership had a golden opportunity to do the right thing to redeem the situation and chose to do nothing (as always.)

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): There is no one answer to this other than that we need to listen to the Holy Spirit.

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): But it’s a satisfaction that fades quickly, leaving me wanting more.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): (And we know God would never have mercy on someone struggling with obesity/gluttony…)

Jeremiah 48: Moab will be broken;
her little ones will cry out.

Sylvia Neusch: There was a cry going up from the hearts of many people who were hungry to see the new things God is wanting to reveal. Many were discouraged and defeated as if they were on an unending treadmill, always stepping forward but never arriving anywhere new. Over and over they have felt like they arrived at the same place, but all the time longing to see the new. But, then Jesus spoke the word again, “RELINQUISH”.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): We don’t do that very well. When we pray for folks to be healed, we kinda do it like we’re handing them a Hallmark “get well” card, just to encourage them, not really expecting them to recover.

When Light Came In (15 Apr 20): Onlookers use it to control others and to feel better when they see suffering. It relieves them of their responsibility to love and help. It’s all in the hands of the bigger Someone, after all, so why get their own hands dirty in the tough stuff of life?

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): In 2012, CERN was granted official observer status at the UN.

Sophia Valentina Buller (16 Apr 20): NO LONGER WILL I OBSERVE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): Devdutt Pattanaik, an Indian mythologist, wrote an article in Economic Times explaining how Shiva fits into modern corporate society.

Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): How to Understand the Great Silence We’re In

Brat to Phil (17 Feb 20): Upon reflection, the SILENCE of the Valley of Death and the torment of Death Valley would be survivable – nay – celebratable if the five-fold ministries were working together like spokes on the Borax Team wagon wheels (Eph 4:11).  From my perspective it’s not just about creative expression.  God knows, we are all expressing ourselves!  (And if not, then ulcers and constipation result.)  Plus, there is a learning curve time in the Spiritual Journey where dancing alone is a sermon unto itself.  It is necessary in the timeline of one’s spiritual development.  The Desert Fathers and Mothers intimately understood that.  St Francis preached to the birds in the forest.  That kind of silence is a sacred time in one’s formation.

Monk: Isn’t this what we are all collectively going through now – a corporate experience of spiritual formation?

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (15 Apr 20): “Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ESPECIALLY VENERATE AND GLORIFY MY MERCY, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.”

Kathie Walters (16 Apr 20): It’s in God’s interest that we receive what He wants to pour out…because then we get to demonstrate the goodness of God in the land of the living. God gets the glory when we receive the promises.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): Hinduism is not one of the five religions recognized by the Chinese government so it is not known why the statue of a Hindu deity would be displayed at the meeting.

Psalm 16:5 The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You hold my lot.

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): The psalmist proclaims that one cup can be sufficient. One portion can be satisfying. One lot – one life – is no more and no less than what God promises. Just one – not two or three or five or all. Just one. And these limits are good. These limits are godly. These limits are ours to choose, and they are sufficient.

Kathie Walters (16 Apr 20): Now is the time for you to bring out the things that have been on your heart – it’s time to release faith to receive bigger things. God is giving gifts of faith. As you pray about those things on your heart (things that may be a bit hidden now), you will find yourself not just believing, but knowing. If the spirit of doubt or fear or discouragement tries to fight you, command it to go. Speak to your faith and tell it to rise up. It is like an artesian well springing up…it is in you, and God is igniting it.

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): Prayer
Even now, God, my heart cries out for more. More constancy. More comfort. More triumph. Definitely more coffee. Test my longings, reveal my cravings, and remind me of what is truly needed.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): They were done. Hallmark card handed out.

When Light Came In (04 Apr 20): We’re detoxing from the comprehensive destruction of abuse. We’re rebuilding ourselves, our voices. Every day, healing more deeply, completely. Every day getting stronger. Every day walking farther from the chaos, toward the peace.

Kathie Walters (16 Apr 20): God doesn’t want us to be affected by the natural realm; it doesn’t have anything to say to us; it’s not our “language.”

Psalm 16:6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; I have a goodly heritage.

When Light Came In (04 Apr 20): It’s why we learn and listen and respond to the red flags. It’s why we notice and practice managing the triggers. It’s why we read and work in recovery groups on healthy assertiveness and self image and boundaries. It’s why we grieve and journal and sometimes just stare off at nature.

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): Perhaps that’s a lot to ask. Enjoying a drink from Starbucks is an easier longing to satisfy.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): I led the prayer, as the rest of the spiritual “A Team” encircled this dear woman, laying hands on her. I hadn’t been praying more than 30 seconds, when the audible fervor of the circle’s agreement (“Amen,” “Yes, Lord,” etc.) became a low murmur….

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): In these days when nothing is constant, a single cup of constancy feels luxurious, even miraculous.

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): In a time when we are meant to speak, it is interesting to discover that we are not always meant to speak more often or louder…but instead with intention and discernment.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): (This isn’t about being loud, talking loud, or even talking at all. Agreement-in-prayer has nothing to do with how demonstrable one is emotionally; it’s about the heart. I’m talking about the very-obvious dynamic range of their participation, which, according to their style of doing church, was typically LOUD.)

When Light Came In (04 Apr 20): Abuse went beyond damage in the moment. It damaged the future, breaking our confidence, our ability to think, feel, trust, dream, and connect.  It took the will to fight back.  It took our voice.

Kathie Walters (16 Apr 20): Everything we receive is by faith. That’s the way God ordained it. It’s not by might, nor our own endeavors, nor our works, nor earning something. If we had to earn something, then we could have earned our salvation. “By grace are you saved, through faith…” (Galatians 3:22). “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith which works by love” (Galatians 5:6). “…A man is justified by faith without the works of the law” (Romans 3:28).

Brat Journal (14 Apr 20): …Neither one of us are the “savior” of anyone else.  That’s Jesus’ job!  All we can do is what we can do and we don’t need to be nagged about it.  When the problem or situation arises, we’ll give it our best shot, but stop hounding!

When Light Came In (15 Apr 20): In one, we know there is Someone bigger than us in this universe, Someone with more insight and power, who we can trust. We aren’t responsible for everything all by ourselves. It gives us a sense of connection in the good times and bad, a knowing that there’s more to this life and we’re not alone.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (15 Apr 20): Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life.

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): Most of us don’t long for the whole world to be ours. We don’t crave constant praise from acolytes who guard our egos from injury. We aren’t consumed by the desire to have the entire banquet of life focused on us all the time. We aren’t under false illusions that fate is obligated to keep us happy.

Israel365 (16 Apr 20): The People Making a Real Difference ✡ “They make a banquet for revelry”

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): God is the only one who knows what each situation requires. Yet, even when we cannot hear His voice clearly, if we humble ourselves, pray, and disallow fear and doubt, He will still guide us.

Daniel Pontious (16 Apr 20): While the Knowledge of God will show you the direction to go in, it is His Wisdom which causes His Power to manifest on our behalf as we move forward in obedience.

Psalm 16:7 I bless the LORD who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me.

Brat (16 Apr 20): I felt the breach and smelled rat last night and this morning.  That means we will now have to collectively go through another healing cycle to cleanse us, unless there is accountability to make breakthrough and repair the breech.

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): Still, this does not mean that God will always have us be silent. Sometimes the quietest season comes before the greatest release. Yet, no matter how or when God wants us to speak, if we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, remaining obedient to His voice, God’s will WILL be done. His Kingdom will manifest in our lives and circumstances—even in those around us—and we will find peace in His perfect will!

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): Back to that 30-second mark. When their audible agreement waned, I whipped! (Not really) But, probably with some perceptible degree of fervor myself, I loudly said, “Pray, Church! Did God tell you to stop?”

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (16 Apr 20): Perhaps even more disturbing is the large statue of Shiva the Destroyer prominently displayed at the entrance to the European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN, in Switzerland. CERN operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. Physicist Fritjof Capra explains its enigmatic presence at the laboratory by saying, “For the modern physicists, then, Shiva’s dance is the dance of subatomic matter.”

[Grrr…]

Rachel Hackenberg (16 Apr 20): My preferred cup is venti-sized, with a green mermaid on the side. I know what people say about her, of course. I know what people say about those of us who love her and visit her often. I’m clear about her impact on my wallet. But still I appreciate the comfort of her constancy and the satisfaction of enjoying the hot caffeinated beverages she provides.

Psalm 16:8 I keep the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

When Light Came In (04 Apr 20): And dear one, we are taking it back.  All of it.  Together.

Brat: YES!

Sophia Valentina Buller (16 Apr 20): THIS IS MY ROYAL DECREE.  THIS DECREE IS IN MOTION AND WILL NOT AND CANNOT BE OVERTURNED IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Psalm 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (15 Apr 20): Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God:

Rabbi Curt Landry (16 Apr 20): Let us trust God in return, for He is far more worthy of trust than any person ever could be. Let us seek Him and listen to Him, and then, in His perfect timing and words, let us speak!

Psalm 16:10 For you do not give me up to Sheol, or let your faithful one see the Pit.

Pastor Tom Demaree (16 Apr 20): “Holy cow, Tom! You said this would be short!” (I’m almost done.) (Never believe a preacher when they say that.)

Brat (16 Apr 20 at 8:31 am): To borrow the words of my friend Sophia Buller: “Without accountability there will be no breakthrough.”

Charisma (16 Apr 20): Are you part of the remnant church?

Sophia Valentina Buller (16 Apr 20): IT WILL BE SUDDEN, SWIFT, AND COMPLETE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥

Isaiah 60: 22 The least of you will become a thousand,
the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the Lord;
in its time I will do this swiftly.”

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (15 Apr 20): Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory.

Psalm 16:11 You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

John-Paul and Annie Diddens (15 Apr 20): Amen.

From the Lectionary readings for 2 Easter: Acts 2:14a, 22-32
Acts 2:14a But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them,
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): There are a number of biblical prophecies that seem to speak of America. One is Revelation 12:1-18 (some of this passage is omitted for the sake of brevity):
Brat: I find that both prophetic and ironic in that the Catholic Church herself sees herself written into that passage of Revelation 12.
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): Radically Catholic in the Age of Francis
Wanda Alger (15 Apr 20): The preparation time is ending and the mission is soon to begin. It’s time for the people of God to CROSS OVER into the land of giants with feats of courage that will rewrite history. Let’s take those first steps together and see the glory of Heaven begin its work.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars;
Lana Vawser: In the deep dealing of this religious spirit in the Church by the hand of God, the true Bride will arise in His love and power and shine in the earth like she has never shone before.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): What Is a Leader?
Acts 2:22 “You that are Israelites, listen to what I have to say: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with deeds of power, wonders, and signs that God did through him among you, as you yourselves know-
Adam Milstein (14 Apr 20): For the first time, many of us are celebrating Passover physically separated from our loved ones. Although we understand the growing concern, anxiety, and uncertainty at this time we are also inspired by our Jewish tradition that teaches us the importance of our freedom. We firmly believe that our community will overcome this suffering together by gathering the courage and strength to move forward.
Wanda Alger (15 Apr 20): I believe the Lord is calling out to the SET APART ONES in this time of CROSSING OVER. He has been preparing the people of God to go into new territories and take out principalities and powers that have ruled the land for generations. He has been getting us ready to face our enemies with boldness and courage. But, He also needs His set apart ones to lead the way, reminding everyone of His PROMISE and His PRESENCE. These battles will be won as His presence goes before us and we follow His lead. It is up to the sanctified and prepared priesthood of Believers to lead the way and stir up the needed vision and courage for the nation(s) to go in.
Sophia Valentina Buller (13 Apr 20): Also there are 2 extremes in Christianity: the first is Jesus ONLY Does miracles and the 2nd is rigid and it can come in the form of tradition or not letting the Holy Spirit move freely…this group will mock signs and wonders while the first group tends to expect signs and wonders in order for something to be valid. Both sides need to see that Jesus Does what He Wants to do as He Sees fit. Jesus Still Can part the Red Sea if He Wants to physically and at the same time sometimes He Is more subtle like in the book of Esther. Don’t put Jesus in a box. There is common ground. Don’t fight, find the common ground in Christ to strengthen each other in Christ. Read 1 Corinthians 12. We are a body in Christ. All of us matter.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): and she was with child; and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth…
Lana Vawser: There is a great urgency of the hour as we move further into this new era that we embrace the move of God whatever it looks like, to live so close to His heart that we recognise Him and His move even if/when it looks different to what we expect and not be offended or kill a move of God because it doesn’t fit into our box.
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): The Dorothy Option
Brat (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): It’s too easy to send Dorothy on yet another run for the Wicked Witch of the West’s broom, my pretty.
Jewish Journal: Now Is The Time to Write Your Story
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
Dr. Francis Myles (15 Apr 20): Satan uses “fear” to bind us in the Courts of Heaven. In almost all cases of demonic bondage or entrapment, the driver that the devil uses to open the doors of oppression is the spirit of fear! Fear has a paralyzing and chilling effect. Needless to say, if fear is allowed to contaminate the mind, it is such a powerful and immobilizing force that some people never fully recover from it.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): There is a strange statement in the Talmud regarding Moshiach. When the Talmud wishes to describe Moshiach, the man who will redeem the entire world from bloodshed, oppression, greed and corruption, it describes him as the “Caesar,” while describing King David as a “half a Caesar:”[1]
Acts 2:27 For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, or let your Holy One experience corruption.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): Most of the early colonists that came to America were Christians and Jews fleeing persecution. The woman in this text was carried away by the wings of a great eagle. She was nourished in a wilderness. America was a wilderness at the time, and the symbol of America became the eagle.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): True, the Jews did take a special liking to Julius Caesar. Many earnestly mourned the murder of Julius Caesar on March 15, 44 CE; but none so vigorously as the Jews. Caesar’s biographer, Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus, wrote this: At the height of the public grief a throng of foreigners went about lamenting each after the fashion of his country, above all the Jews, who even flocked to the place [of his burial] for several successive nights.
Wanda Alger (15 Apr 20): I call forth the priesthood of Believers who have been set apart to lead the way! Rise up and get ready to take those first steps. Gird up your loins to step into the deep and confront your fears. You have been equipped, prepared, and are not alone. This call is not dependent on one leader, but on a COMPANY of faith-filled, Spirit-empowered Kingdom carriers. Keep your eyes fixed on His promise and His presence and you will discover a depth of courage on the inside of you as you step out in faith. Embrace your assignment with conviction and passion, knowing the God of Wonders goes before you.
Sophia Valentina Buller (13 Apr 20): Another topic is that without accountability there will be no breakthrough. Pray about this.
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): “And in the naked light I saw” – there is no accountability. There is nowhere for the proverbial buck to stop.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
John-Paul and Annie Diddens (14 Apr 20): “Today bring to Me THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. Only the humble soul is capable of receiving My grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.”
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): We see in Scripture that God knew that this would happen because He knows the end from the beginning. However, knowing something will happen is not the same as making it happen. Knowing that it would happen, God had already planned to restore mankind and all that was under man’s dominion from the consequences of the Fall. The Apostle Peter called this “the restoration of all things.”
Acts 2:23 this man, handed over to you according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of those outside the law.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon….
Lana Vawser: There has been a civil war in the Church and it will flare up louder than ever as God deals with this spirit of religion in this new era, but know in the ‘noise’ when it happens, that there is a mass deliverance upon the Church and the sound of freedom will resound and as the shaking and deconstruction happens, as we transition into the new thing God is doing and going to do, the true ecclesia is going to arise in unity (John 17) strength, humility, boldness and power.
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): The other approach — for the despairing greens among us — is to understand this moment as a glimpse of utopia (or better, eutopia *), especially if the events of recent years have damaged our ability to imagine new social realities.
Rick Joyner (in “Altar” 01 Apr 20): We must never think it is not possible. If the U.S. Navy CB’s have the motto: “The difficult we do immediately, but the impossible may take a little longer,” how much more should we, who serve a God for whom nothing is impossible, believe this?
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): The first definition of a leader is that he does not follow, but lead. He can lead his people to expand the horizons of his people and lead them to new, previously uncharted terrains. He opens new pathways in their thinking process and achieves what others might think is impractical. Only then can he truly lead and significantly enhance the lives of his constituents. In the words of General Montgomery: “The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer!”
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): Theological interpretations of events is a dicey business, of course. And yet how can we interpret this unfathomable irruption of the natural into the busy man-made economy? I offer two brief suggestions, two metaphorical options for understanding this silence.
Brat (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): The bottom line is that I am asking for help in defeating this calloused beast of perpetual and dysfunctional Silence that breeds more strife. It can be stopped once and for all through direct friendship and honesty. Now that we are all on lockdown, there can no longer be an excuse of being “too busy,” which pastors have used ad nauseum with me in the past.
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): Our ability to withstand these powerful ideological forces may depend on the strength we’ve drawn during this moment of nature’s “reset.” Let’s use this time of silence well.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.
Charisma Media (15 Apr 20): The Spiritual Forces behind the Savior’s birth
Jewish Voice (“More Precious than Gold” 13 Apr 20): Yeshua gives us the ultimate way to find hope, encouragement, and the path to overcoming by revealing to us that He lives forever and has all authority in Heaven and on Earth. Yeshua shepherds our lives and hearts by encouraging us to look at His overcoming work! My encouragement to you is, “Don’t be Afraid!” We are in unchartered times in history right now, but that doesn’t mean we need to be fearful or that we do not have a hope; our hope is in Him…He has overcome!
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): The woman is understood to be those who have carried the seed of Christ, which is biblical Israel and spiritual Israel (true believers). Christ is the male child who was to rule the nations. The flood that poured out of the mouth of the dragon to devour these is considered to have been The Inquisition, the worst persecution in history against both the Jews and Protestant Christians. At the peak of The Inquisition, the earth did open when Columbus discovered America. So much attention was then given to “the new world” that the flood was swallowed up by it, and The Inquisition soon ended.
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): Undeniably, this crisis is a dire warning about our lack of preparation and foresight in so many things. We are already hearing the cries urging us to go back to the Old Normal, the one that led up to these multiple catastrophes in the first place.
Wanda Alger (15 Apr 20): The Ark of the Covenant represented God’s absolute promise to fulfill His plans through His people. It was covered with His tangible presence and surrounded by His glory. It was so “heaven born,” it brought the fear of the Lord to anyone in proximity. It was the visible reminder that His presence was constant, and His promise secure. Just as He led them through the wilderness with supernatural provision and daily direction, so He would lead them into their inheritance.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Brat (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): I want to be clear here. I am not blaming. This isn’t just protest in the prophecy. I stand in the Truth and believe God is resurrecting the Truth out of these seven abominations we have had to suffer seven times in seven grinding cycles through time, times and half a time. (Is there any wonder why Jesus told us to forgive seventy times seven times?) We are marked by Jesus for our salvation and deliverance. Truth and honesty are the new blueprint.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): The Greatest Revolutionary
Elijah List (14 Apr 20): sorry :/
Patheos (15 Apr 20): Professional Christian Mental Health Counseling
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): Why were the Jews so shattered? The proverb “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” definitely applies in this case. The High Priest at the time was a descendant of the Chashmoneim, Hyrcanus, who had been somewhat in alliance with Pompey, the great Roman general, Caesar’s enemy, who marched into and dominated the Land of Israel. Yet Hyrcanus later allied with Caesar against Pompey. Hyrcanus’ change of heart might have been partially motivated by Pompey’s harsh decrees and burdensome taxes and partially motivated by the power that Caesar was rapidly gaining over Pompey.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.
Brat: Speaking of flood, look below at what just “flooded” into my inbox this morning!

Lana Vawser: There is going to be great demonstrations of offense in the way the Lord is going to move, where He will move, how He will move and those areas of offense will expose the religious spirit but He is about to deal with it and break it. The dealings of the Lord to bring down this religious spirit and expose it is going to be intense and there may be mess in the shaking but the Lord is going to bring forth healing to His bride, He is going to bring forth freedom in His Bride, He is going to bring total reformation to His Church.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): Which only intensifies and expands our original question: Why did all the Emperors wish to adopt this name Caesar? What is even more absurd: The title Caesar as a title for a King has become universal, adopted in almost every culture and language. In German and Yiddish we have the “Kaiser,” in the Russian dialect we have the “Tzar.” In English we have “Caesar.” Many other languages, including Japanese, Arabic, the Slavic, Baltic, Germanic, Turkic, Uralic, African, Asian, African dialects and many more—use this term to describe Imperial power. And the Talmud ensures us that even Moshiach will be described as the Caesar! Why?
Lana Vawser: Immediately I was taken back to story after story in the Gospels where the Pharisees were so offended by Jesus and by His acts. The pride that was carried by the Pharisees when Jesus walked the earth is the same pride that God is dealing with in the Church right now and it has only just begun. The Lord is cleaning house. His love is so ferocious and so deep for the world and for His Bride, that He is bringing a deep purification to His Church. My friend Anita Alexander had an encounter with the Lord where she heard the Lord say “I love the world enough to deal with My house” and that’s exactly where we are now.
John-Paul and Annie Diddens: “Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion.”
Lana Vawser: God is going to deal with the religious spirit in this new era in ways we have never seen. I still remember the day many years ago when the Lord whispered to me “A mighty move of My Spirit is coming and if you do not have eyes to see and ears to hear and live close to My heart you will be greatly offended by the move of My Spirit”
John-Paul and Annie Diddens: Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): Moshiach will help people discover the inherent spirituality and unity of the entire universe and every creature in it. Such a leader must think “out of the box” in the most radical way, as he will reveal a new reality which the rest of us see as almost impossible. He will usher in the ultimate Caesarian birth: The “wall” which separates us from each other, the “wall” which separates us from infinity, the “wall” which eclipses our vision of the true integrated reality of our universe, will be opened and a new child, the child of peace and love, will emerge.
Lana Vawser: He is going to raise up the true ecclesia. He is going to raise up the Church in ways we have never seen. He is truly looking for those who truly love Him and follow Him. He is bringing His people into freedom. He is bringing His Church into freedom. Where the religious spirit has contained, suffocated and killed there is a dealing of the Lord upon that religious spirit.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (14 Apr 20): How Do We Achieve True Freedom? (Acharon Shel Pesach 5780)
Adam Milstein (14 Apr 20): As the Coronavirus spreads around the world, so does antisemitism. We will continue fighting both with the same force.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): This is also an illumination of one of America’s basic purposes, which is to be a haven for persecuted Christians and Jews as those who carry the seed of Christ. Those fleeing to America to escape the religious persecution were keen to establish a place where something like The Inquisition could not happen again. This is why the colonies all had a deep devotion to religious liberty.
Elijah List (14 Apr 20): Sorry you had to wait this long for what was so badly needed…
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): Yet from all revolutionaries in history—from all the Caesar’s in history–Moshiach is going to be the greatest one yet: transforming the very consciousness of the entire world. He will win the greatest battle of all time: the battle over our instinctive selfishness, greed and egocentricity; the battle over our perceived material crudeness.
John-Paul and Annie Diddens: Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages.
Wanda Alger (15 Apr 20): Not only did His promise and presence need to go ahead of the people, it was His priests that were responsible for leading the way. These were the ones He had called and set apart who were ready to carry the call and take the first steps – literally.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): We can take the first three chapters of The Bible and the last three, read them together, and they make a complete story. Everything between those six chapters is about one essential subject—restoration—restoring both mankind and the earth from all of the devastation brought about by the disobedience of man.
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): One approach — especially for those who imagine themselves as practical-minded, etc. — is to take this moment as a glimpse of Eden, especially if anyone still harbors skepticism about the gravity of the climate crisis. Some have argued it’s simply an impossible dream to think of a world in which nature could not only return but be restored.
Rick Joyner (14 Apr 20): But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened and swallowed the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth.
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): “I turned my collar to the cold and damp” – The cold Silence of hell, that no one will write me back.
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): Understanding This Great Silence
Wanda Alger (15 Apr 20): When the priests followed His lead and obeyed His word, it opened the way for miracles. Today, every follower of Christ is part of this royal priesthood of Believers (see 1 Peter 2:5). But, even though we all have access, it is those who embrace this responsibility that can walk in the authority attached to the call. It is those who are willing to carry His presence and steward His promise that can lead the way for others.
Acts 2:24 But God raised Him up, having freed Him from death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): The best way to describe such a personality is “Keiser,” or Caesar, that procedure which creates a “door,” an “opening,” where nobody saw it possible. The true leader extracts the child though unconventional channels and pathways. Where others see closed walls, he creates unconventional openings.
John-Paul and Annie Diddens (14 Apr 20): Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages.
Lana Vawser: There is a sound of worship, adoration and “undignified” expression of love for Jesus that is going to be seen in the Church and in the harvest coming in, in this new era that if we don’t carry the heart of God and know Him well, could find the people of God criticising or standing against a move of God and that is not a place we want to be. This deep undignified worship of Jesus that doesn’t care what others think or are caged by the fear of man, will arise in the earth like never before, it will be so undignified that religious mindsets and where the religious spirit resides will find it offensive. (2 Samuel 6:14-22) This will be key in the Church moving out of Saul’s house and the David’s arising in the earth.
Acts 2:25 For David says concerning him, ‘I saw the Lord always before me, for He is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken;
Elias Crim (13 Apr 20): But for the moment, the gift of such a world has arrived, and somehow we are now, miraculously, living within it.
Adam Milstein (14 Apr 20): Dear Friends,
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): The uniqueness of Moshiach’s leadership is this: Though it will be the greatest revolution in history, it will nonetheless not be superimposed on humanity. On the contrary, Moshiach will reveal the incredible potential each person already has inside of him or her which lay dormant. He will not superimpose on humanity a “world order” to suit his dreams, but will show humanity how to actualize its own inherent and innate spiritual and emotional potential, bringing to the fore our incredible inner goodness and holiness which has always been there behind the “door” which Moshiach will burst open.
Acts 2:26 therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; moreover my flesh will live in hope.
Dr. Francis Myles (15 Apr 20): The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is far more powerful than the spirit of fear or the spirit of death! I want you to ask the Lord to fill you with the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which according to Scripture will make you free from the law of sin and death. Once you are free from the law of sin and death, fear will have no power over you!
Acts 2:28 You have made known to me the ways of life; you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’
Adam Milstein (14 Apr 20): With sincere love and admiration for the State of Israel and the Jewish people,
Acts 2:29 “Fellow Israelites, I may say to you confidently of our ancestor David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
Brat (in “Good Friday” 10 Apr 20): …My view of a legacy was like a stagnant and buried tomb in an entertainment vault.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): This is the idea of the Caesar and half-Caesar during the time of Moshiach: Moshiach will not only be a Caesar, creating an unprecedented, unmatched and unparalleled revolution unlike anything previously in history; his revolution will be one that is fully integrated in the consciousness of people, one that will resonate within our own souls and hearts.
Acts 2:30 Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would put one of his descendants on his throne.
John-Paul and Annie Diddens (14 Apr 20): Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.
Acts 2:31 Foreseeing this, David spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, saying, ‘He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh experience corruption.’
Rabbi YY Jacobson (14 Apr 20): Today, as the coronavirus brought the whole world to its knees, humanity is ready to open itself up to a new consciousness—of oneness, of interconnectivity, of transcendence, and a redefinition of man as a spiritual agent, an ambassador of love, light and hope. We are ready to live higher, to think higher, and to become the people we really are—manifestations of infinity in our world. We are ready for the revolution Moshiach will bring about, one that will be non-revolutionary at all: a return to the truth of our oneness with each other and with infinity.
Acts 2:32 This Jesus God raised up, and of that all of us are witnesses.

From the Lectionary for 2 Easter: 1 Peter 1:3-9
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): John says…
“…Messiah Yeshua, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the Earth. To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood and made us a kingdom, kohanim (priest) to His God and Father—to Him be glory and power forever! Amen!”
—Revelation 1:5-6 TLV
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): The largest gathering of Jews in one place is undoubtedly the twice-annual Birkat Hakohanim (priestly blessing) attracting about 40-50,000, but this year, the coronavirus transformed it into a dim shadow of its glory with the crowd limited to a total of ten priests with no representatives of the people of Israel to be blessed.
Brat: This is important, because the Babylon culture is often equated with Sodom and the rabbis are bravely standing in the gap. And here is Abraham pleading for Sodom:
Genesis 18: 32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?”
He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”
Brat: God saw the faithfulness in the ten kohen today.
I see this as God’s merciful redemption in progress.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): “In the same way, let your light shine before men so they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Lana Vawser (13 Apr 20): The move of God that’s coming and the fear of the Lord being restored to the Church is going to expose the religious spirit and the pride of man, and bring forth such a beautiful work of His Spirit bringing cleansing and purification for a greater positioning of Isaiah 60.
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): We will not all survive the current apocalypse. We will not all be raised from our sickbeds or our tombs. Some of us will lose jobs or businesses we have spent a lifetime building. Marriages that might have made it otherwise, absurdly pressured by quarantine, will end in divorce.
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): Am I ok? Yah, just Disturbed in the Sound of Silence [https://youtu.be/u9Dg-g7t2l4]
Eliyahu Touger: At the outset, it describes the spiritual level of Mashiach himself: “And the spirit of G d shall rest upon him…” And then it continues to describe his conduct: “And he will be permeated with the spirit of the fear of G d…” Our Sages interpret (Sanhedrin 93b) this phrase to mean that he will judge the righteous through his sense of smell.
Brat: Like the smell of rat?
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): Prayer
God, your servants didn’t write four resurrection stories, but eight billion. We are all little gospels, still being told. Thank you for telling us. Amen.
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): “People writing songs that voices never share” – and that I have personally experienced for ten years!
“And no one dared” – Is it too hard to engage human to human? and …
“Disturb the sound of silence”? – So, the Arc Speak carries on and on as if I had said nothing
“Fools” said I, “You do not know” – They cannot conceive how grindingly cruel this is to have a No Contact edict on their heads, because it is not happening to them
“Silence like a cancer grows” – Yes, it does!
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): What is God saying through His Word?
Brat (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): I want to be clear here. I am not blaming. This isn’t just protest in the prophecy. I stand in the Truth and believe God is resurrecting the Truth out of these seven abominations we have had to suffer seven times in seven grinding cycles through time, times and half a time. (Is there any wonder why Jesus told us to forgive seventy times seven times?) We are marked by Jesus for our salvation and deliverance. Truth and honesty are the new blueprint.
Acts 10:43 All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”
Brat: This is not just a statement about God.
He is holy, holy, holy!
Eliyahu Touger: A successful teacher speaks to a level that the student can understand. A king, however, communicates his wishes as decrees, to be accepted out of awe, not understanding.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): Now take some time to carefully reflect on the questions below and journal your answers.
Israel365 (13 Apr 20): Redemption will reunite us! ✡ “Eliyahu went up to heaven in a whirlwind”
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): What is God saying to me?
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): Yeshua gives us the ultimate way to find hope, encouragement, and the path to overcoming by revealing to us that He lives forever and has all authority in Heaven and on Earth.
1 Peter 1:4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
Israel365 (13 Apr 20): As they kept on walking and talking, a fiery chariot with fiery horses suddenly appeared and separated one from the other; and Eliyahu went up to heaven in a whirlwind ~ II Kings 2:11 (The Israel Bible™)
Brat: This is how I’m feeling!
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): Don’t Be Afraid!
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): So they went out and fled from the tomb, for terror and amazement had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. – Mark 16:8 (NRSV)
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): “When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light” – The rabbis had ten priests gathered to say a Passover blessing for the people at the Wailing Wall. They bemoaned that it was only ten. I shared that they were brave and standing in the gap like Abraham did for Sodom (since Sodom and Babylon in this culture is often equated.)
“That split the night” – but did anyone see it? It came into my inbox and I commented, but I don’t think it made it to Facebook
“And touched the sound of silence” – but did it? The rabbis were now talking about how the Messiah is a teacher and a king.
Eliyahu Touger: Moreover, as is well known, Mashiach will teach people the Torah using the medium of sight, a manner of instruction that transcends ordinary comprehension. Nevertheless, the influence which he will convey as a king is so lofty that it cannot even be revealed through the transcendent influence of sight. And yet, because Mashiach will also serve as a king, he will reveal even these matters to the Jewish people. Their revelation, however, will be in an encompassing matter.
Brat (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): This is supposed to be the year where we decree with our mouths. And I believe my friend Sophia is saying the truth in her expanded insight. She asks, What if it is the season where “our words catch up to us? The Bible talks a lot about idle words, gossip, slander, false witness, and being held accountable for every word we speak…also James 3 comes to mind. One of the Hebrew letters signifying the mouth…what if it has to do with being held accountable for every word we speak.”
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): Next, John begins to describe the revealing of the glorified Messiah…
“I saw One like a Son of Man, clothed in a robe down to His feet, with a golden belt wrapped around His chest. His head and His hair were white like wool, white like snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire. His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of rushing waters. In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came forth a sharp, two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at full strength.”
—Revelation 1:13-16 TLV
Eliyahu Touger: This reflects the difference between the influence given by a teacher and that given by a king. When a teacher influences a student, he draws closer to him, for he restricts his own understanding to a level appropriate for the student so that the student will grasp the idea. The influence of a king, by contrast, remains separate from the people, above their intellectual comprehension; this is because a king communicates his wishes as decrees, to be accepted out of awe of him – and not because the people understand.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): WOW! Look at how Yeshua teaches us:
Eliyahu Touger: “And the spirit of G d shall rest upon him…And he will be permeated with the spirit of the fear of G d…The wolf will dwell with the lamb.” (Isaiah 11:2)
Lana Vawser (13 Apr 20): There’s such a deep invitation into His heart right now, deeper than ever to hear His heartbeat, hear His voice and see and hear as He sees. God is dealing with this spirit of religion, He is dealing with elitism, and with pride. He is thundering to His people that humility is the key.
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): Easter is not a history lesson with a tidy ending, but an invitation to look past death in all its disguises. After every death, new things get born. You may sometimes have a year of Good Fridays, but Easter will always arrive. It is as inevitable as sunrise after the long night.
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): “Hear my words that I might teach you” – I write from the Lectionary. Do God’s own words mean nothing to them? They have to be the ones perpetually “teaching”? Where’s the mercy? Where’s the kindness?
“Take my arms that I might reach you” – and yet they keep an arm’s distance away, as if social distancing had more power than love.
“But my words like silent raindrops fell” – drip, drip
Eliyahu Touger: In this passage the prophet describes the coming of Mashiach who will arrive and redeem us speedily in our days, highlighting several aspects of the King Mashiach’s qualities and his conduct.
Casting Crowns: “Love Moved First” [https://youtu.be/wvlTT86ui-s]
Jewish Press (13 Apr 20): If you are an extrovert craving social stimulation, these may be lonely days. But just because you are confined to your home, that does not mean there are no causes to throw yourselves behind. If you are confident in your ability to rally people together, to inspire others to join you in an international spiritual revolution, then this is for you.
Brat: I’m an introvert.
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, there they will see me.” – Matthew 28:10 (NRSV)
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): God gave to His people to bless and establish them – and to provide them the opportunity to glorify Him with it later. Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary defines glorify as worship and also “to represent as glorious” and to “light up brilliantly.” When we use what God has given us to glorify Him, we not only worship Him, we also point the world to Him. And the people need Him – desperately – whether they know it or not.
Eliyahu Touger: The source for these two types of influence which Mashiach will provide, that of a king and that of a teacher, is in the Torah,4 for the Torah contains parallels to both of these influences. There are certain Torah concepts that have been enclothed in an intellectual form, paralleling the influence of a teacher. The essence of the Torah, however, remains above intellect, paralleling the influence of a king.

Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): Hope in the Midst: A Message from the Book of Revelation
Anne Ballard (13 Apr 20): We are living in a time when fatherlessness is rampant. In the US, according to the Census Bureau, 19.7 million children (more than 1 in 4) were living in a home without the physical presence of a father. Even greater than in times of war when men were killed in combat, children now (young and old) are without fathers. Whether the men abdicated their roles, abandoned their families, were physically present but emotionally absent, or were never present from the very beginning, they are missing from the family unit.
Israel365 (13 Apr 20): In one of the Bible’s most powerful images, Eliyahu the Prophet leaves this world and ascends to the heavens in a fiery chariot. The Sages teach (Bava Batra 121b) that Eliyahu did not die, but left this world while still alive. Because he remains alive, he maintains contact with the world below. He is therefore able to understand the needs of every generation. This constant connection is part of what makes him one of history’s most beloved prophets. Tradition teaches that when God decides it is time to reveal the Mashiach, Eliyahu will return to proclaim his arrival to the world. According to the prophet Malachi, after he returns “He shall reconcile parents with children and children with their parents” (3:24). Eliyahu will bring peace to the world, creating the right environment for the arrival of the Mashiach. Today, in this specific generation, there is a new meaning to being separated as we all know. It is a fitting time for Eliyahu to come reunite us and announce the arrival of the Mashiach!
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): “Within the sound of silence” –
I share my blog. I posted every single day of Holy Week, sometimes several times in one day. They read me. I “know” that they do. And still the Arc Speak drones on… Nothing personal, EVER.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): In the book of Revelation, we find the world to be in the most dramatic and unique time of history – at the end of the age. Yet the book of Revelation shows when Believers are faced with great adversity, they OVERCOME! If you want to find hope and inspiration for the days we live in now then we should look at the future and apply that wisdom today.
1 Peter 1:5 who are being protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): In Revelation chapter 1, we find that God is revealing and has revealed Yeshua our salvation, but he wants us to see Yeshua as not just the suffering servant, but also as the King of kings and Lord of lords. Look how John describes Yeshua and how Yeshua reveals himself to John in this chapter.
Eliyahu Touger: In short, the explanation of the concept is that kingship is identified with the quality of exaltedness, the concept that a king is separate and uplifted above his people. Even the commands given by a king reflect closeness; the king draws closer to his people by leading them according to his desires.
Brat (in “Easter Witness” 12 Apr 20): You said we easily connect with others, whether friends or strangers, over our love of Jesus. Well, for the love of Jesus the Arc Speak over my head must stop. This has been going on for a decade. It will stop when friendship is real. Friends don’t manipulate friends. You can start friendship by responding to me directly.
Lana Vawser (13 Apr 20): There is going to be great demonstrations of offense in the way the Lord is going to move, where He will move, how He will move and those areas of offense will expose the religious spirit but He is about to deal with it and break it. The dealings of the Lord to bring down this religious spirit and expose it is going to be intense and there may be mess in the shaking but the Lord is going to bring forth healing to His bride, He is going to bring forth freedom in His Bride, He is going to bring total reformation to His Church.
Eliyahu Touger: In the Era of the Redemption, both of these dimensions will become manifest, and thus Mashiach will be called both a teacher and a king.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): When we face times of trial or uncertainty in the world as Believers we should first turn to the Scriptures and prayer. We often look at the Bible as our source of hope, encouragement or to be inspired to overcome. The book of Revelation does not usually come to mind as a source of hope. However, I think you can find encouragement and should take time to use this book as a source of inspiration.
Lana Vawser (13 Apr 20): The WAY that the Lord is going to move is going to shake the religious mindsets and expose the spirit of religion in the Church in a way we have never seen. The Lord’s heart in shaking up His house in such intense ways in this new era is to bring forth His true ecclesia and to see His people walk in humility and purity before Him and carry His Spirit.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): Now take some time to carefully reflect on the questions below and journal your answers.
Brat to Jo (in “The Sound of Silence” 13 Apr 20): “I turned my collar to the cold and damp” – The cold Silence of hell, that no one will write me back.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): He holds the keys of death and Sheol!
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): But after all of these endings, there will be new beginnings – some of them visible, tellable; others beyond the veil of earthly death.
1 Peter 1:6 In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials,
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): When the humans I love are facing hard times, which seems to be all the time these days, I am fond of lifting up the modern proverb: “Everything turns out alright in the end. If it’s not all right, it’s not the end.”
Lana Vawser (13 Apr 20): One of the way God is going to deal with the spirit of religion is He is going to DISRUPT and INTERRUPT in this new era and He is going to move in such a powerful way, He is going to demonstrate that He is the God who cannot be controlled or contained.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): Have you ever wondered where all the gold, silver and fine fabrics came from to build the tabernacle in the wilderness? God asked the Israelites, whoever was willing, to contribute these treasures for the making of His dwelling place among them. The Israelites had been slaves; they wouldn’t have possessed such wealth. Where did they get these things?
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): Mark ended his masterpiece of a gospel on a cliffhanger – a resurrection with question marks. Luke, Matthew and John, writing later, embellished the story, adding multiple appearances and new miracles by the risen Jesus. Maybe they had better intel than Mark. Maybe they created fiction for a people craving hope. Or maybe they had a lived experience of a Christ who kept showing up, shaping and saving their lives.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): When God released the Israelites from bondage, He didn’t send them into the desert empty-handed.
Molly Baskette (13 Apr 20): A double-thousand years later, we pick up these four stories and find our own resurrections in them, every year. The original Easter story has still never ended. It goes on, in endless song, above earth’s lamentations.
Jewish Voice (13 Apr 20): He gave these former slaves the riches of Egypt. There was no stealing involved in this plunder. God instructed the Israelites to simply ask their Egyptian neighbors for the most valuable items in their homes – gold, silver, jewelry and clothing. And Egypt gave it!
