Robin Hood 22 Dec 17

22 Dec

Working Dates: Friday, December 15, 2017 to Friday, December 22, 2017

[28 pages]

Brat (in “Air” 13 Dec 17): Lord, would You recruit St Anthony again for me and help him to help me? There’s an active disconnect going on at the subterranean (and atmospheric) levels and I’m asking for Your repair team to get on it. What can I grab a hold of on my end? I need something to work with. There’s no topic, link, word, or person that comes to mind. I trust You will let me know.

Anna Blake: Are you a little girl in the barn? Okay. Your horse can babysit you.

Leah D. Schade: Mary ponders.

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): Let Him break some of the old. It’s not paranormal.

Repeat: “God wants to do something new in me.”

Lovesick Scribe: As I meditated on some things swirling in the prophetic climate right now involving this very thing, the words counterfeited counterfeit came to me. According to Merriam-Webster, counterfeit is “something made in imitation of something else with intent to deceive.” The only things counterfeited are things of value. This is why the devil counterfeits the prophetic with such things as psychics, necromancers, horoscopes, tarot cards, astroprojection, etc. He understands the value of authentic prophetic ministry and the office of a genuine prophet, and when the body of Christ shies away from the spirit of prophecy, he is glad to oblige the longing of people to experience the supernatural, even if it [is] a perversion of the real deal.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Look closely,” Hi said.

Jennifer LeClaire: Plagiarizing is akin to lying and stealing. Leviticus 19:11 (MEV) warns, “You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, or lie one to another.” Prophetic pirates who shoplift prophetic words from the internet are dealing falsely, and that’s one step toward false prophethood. We don’t need Robin Hoods in the prophetic.

Mary Luti: Advent craves God. Do you?

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): Welcome God’s messengers. God comes to people like you and me. We hold Mary in high esteem. She let God use her in a fabulous way. She was a common young woman. The Angel was directed by the Lord to her. She wouldn’t have stood out.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I said, “That’s what I want to know. I’m totally confused. How do you become a superhero in an ordinary life like this?”[1]

James Goll: It is time when the apostolic and the prophetic become less religious and learn how to bring practical, real solutions. The time is upon us for the birthing of kingdom consultants and prophetic solutionists. These anointed men and women of God are to be in the church but not stuck in the church. In the second apostolic age of the church, these sent ones become Kingdom consultants in every sphere of life. Over the years I have referred to this as hope ambassadors. It is time for Kingdom administrators experiencing moments of prophetic revelation turned into movements of prophetic reformation. These are the new Kingdom consultants.

Alane Haynes: Heaven is calling and the earth is groaning. I hear the Lord say, “Sons and daughters of the Most High God: come forth into the glory of the risen King. I have robed you from on high and filled you with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8). Come forth radiant ones, let Christ within you be seen and known. Fear has no place; it is but a stranger’s face, and now, I say, I will erase and leave not even the smallest trace. All that is seen will be from My embrace. You are My imprint, My design. The world will see that you are Mine. Come forth, I say, let My glory shine.”

Brat (in “Air” 13 Dec 17): It’s odd, the spiritual light seems broader, wider, and brighter, but the Holy Void seems to be wider than ever. What is being redeemed? At this rate Lana Vawser’s assurance of significant (and tangible?) breakthrough before the end of this month seems far off. For her sake I hope breakthrough happens. Nothing seems to be breaking through on this end. But that’s just what I see. That’s not faith. It’s just observation. Lord, it doesn’t mean You can’t or won’t break through. Look what You have to work with. But You’re the miracle Man. May somebody give You something You can work with.

H.P. Liddon, “Born of a Virgin” (sermon): Observe the contrast between the real and the apparent importance of the Birth of Christ. To human sense, the event which took place at Bethlehem may well have seemed at the time commonplace enough. An Infant was born under circumstances of hardship; in a wayside stable. To those who did not look closely into the circumstances, it might have occurred that a like event had often happened before, and would often be repeated. Everybody did not hear the song of the Angels, or mark the bearing of the Virgin-Mother and of her saintly spouse. The Kingdom of God had entered into his history, but certainly “not with observation.” Nay, more, even among the worshippers of Christ the full meaning of His Birth, as opening a new era in the history of the human race, was not at once practically appreciated.

Rabbi David Sterne: Chassidic masters state that by looking, we actually influence the object we see.

2 Samuel 7:1 Now when the king was settled in his house, and the LORD had given him rest from all his enemies around him

Pastor John Tolle: You’re not going to birth the Christ Child, but you carry Christ. You are to deliver Christ to an intended person. People are ready for you to deliver the message.

Brat: And that intended person would be…? I hear you. And I’m still needing a safe place to work on the message in peace and quiet, so that I have a sane message that can be understood and received by those who actually want it. The goose that lays the golden eggs still needs a hen house, even though the giant steals her eggs.

Vince Amlin: That’s not the way it works. God refuses our shelter, mocks our protection, tears up our anxious blueprints and leaves no brick on another.

2 Samuel 7:2 the king said to the prophet Nathan, “See now, I am living in a house of cedar, but the ark of God stays in a tent.”

Pastor John Tolle: We may slow down and veg, but God isn’t done with us.

2 Samuel 7:3 Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that you have in mind; for the LORD is with you.”

Vince Amlin: God comes to us defenseless not to receive our protection, but to inspire us to vulnerability, to remind us in the voices of angels to “be not afraid.” We have all the shelter we need.

Brat: Glad to hear you have it.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby: But we like the Angels proclaim good news and, like the Shepherds, we receive good news. The good news is good news for all people, whatever their situation in life. It is good news for politicians and leaders but is also good news for the refugees and displaced persons who continue to flee from danger and seek safety and sanctuary.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: He said, “Josh, look up from the gravel. Has anything changed in your life?”

Brat: No

Molly Baskette: Homeless people don’t always choose the streets, but when they do it’s often because they feel safer there than in shelters where they can be robbed or raped.

Alane Haynes: I hear the Lord saying that it is time to search out the glory within you! Even as the wise men saw the stars and searched out the Christ, the Spirit of God within you is constraining you to search within and draw out the glory. Search beneath the soulish realm, go deep until you hear the Holy utterance of the voice of the living God, and let the roar of the Lion of the tribe of Judah release the sound that produces the glory in your circumstances.

Julie Price: “The spirit of Elijah is coming like a blazing fire to set in families in order.”

Brat (in “Air” 13 Dec 17): The word “deliver” from Pastor John Tolle’s sermon on Sunday keeps rolling around in my brain. Receiving and delivering. How am I supposed to deliver to receive again when people don’t write back, phone calls are dropped and they don’t call back? What are You showing me, Lord? I know I wasn’t bullish. Lord? What am I really waiting for? A friend?

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Do You Need G-d? Do You Have a Real Friend?

Charles Spurgeon (in Morning and Evening): It is a sweet thought that Jesus Christ did not come forth without his Father’s permission, authority, consent, and assistance. He was sent of the Father, that he might be the Saviour of men. We are too apt to forget that, while there are distinctions as to the persons in the Trinity, there are no distinctions of honour. We too frequently ascribe the honour of our salvation, or at least the depths of its benevolence, more to Jesus Christ than we do the Father. This is a very great mistake. What if Jesus came? Did not his Father send him? If he spake wondrously, did not his Father pour grace into his lips, that he might be an able minister of the new covenant? He who knoweth the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost as he should know them, never setteth one before another in his love; he sees them at Bethlehem, at Gethsemane, and on Calvary, all equally engaged in the work of salvation. O Christian, hast thou put thy confidence in the Man Christ Jesus? Hast thou placed thy reliance solely on him? And art thou united with him? Then believe that thou art united unto the God of heaven. Since to the Man Christ Jesus thou art brother, and holdest closest fellowship, thou art linked thereby with God the Eternal, and “the Ancient of days” is thy Father and thy friend. Didst thou ever consider the depth of love in the heart of Jehovah, when God the Father equipped his Son for the great enterprise of mercy? If not, be this thy day’s meditation. The Father sent him! Contemplate that subject. Think how Jesus works what the Father wills. In the wounds of the dying Saviour see the love of the great I AM. Let every thought of Jesus be also connected with the Eternal, ever-blessed God, for “It pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief.”

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I covered my face with my hands. Then I just looked up to the sky “So tell me what I’m supposed to do! Cuz I don’t see any change! Nothing! Show me!”

Lovesick Scribe: As prophetic people, we must operate in a pure flow. We must reclaim what the enemy has perverted while using wisdom and proper discernment to not muddy the waters with his schemes and devices. We are mandated to manifest the Kingdom of God. We are not mandated to counterfeit the darkness in the name of Christ.  There is no inheritance in another Christ. I urge you in this hour to pray and intercede for those who are deceived by the tools of the devil, especially those who claim to know Jesus Christ. Pray that a holy conviction would come upon those who are seduced by the angel of light. Search your own heart, and ask the Lord to cleanse you and to reveal any area of deception. I believe that a cleansing is upon the body of Christ, particularly the prophetic voices, and this cleansing only comes through the Word of God and the Blood of Jesus. Holy Spirit, guide us into all truth!

Revelation 16:The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“You are just in these judgments, O Holy One,
you who are and who were;
for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,
and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”

Jennifer LeClaire: The Lord Is Against These Prophets

Rabbi YY Jacobson: “Do you know what tonight is?” he demanded.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “The light is not your mission. Your mission is to challenge the darkness.”

Brat: I thought our mission was to glorify God.

Steve Shultz: Many will be tempted to say that things are worse than they have EVER BEEN. This is not true. When evil is brought to light, it is because God is cleaning house! When God brings cleansing, things are continually getting better than they have been in a very long time.

Jennifer LeClaire: The Plumb Line: Beware Presumptuous Prophetic Pirates Who Parrot and Plagiarize Words[2]

Brat: Thank You, God, for answering my prayer to give me something to work with! Jennifer LeClaire’s word comes at a timely moment. It’s not like we haven’t tried to discuss this topic before. The prophets are silent with me. We can’t chat Facebook to Facebook for some reason. It’s not like they haven’t talked about pirating prophetic words before. Emails are never responded to. The Holy Void gets louder and deeper and darker every day.

Mary Luti: No, you’re no mystic, no thrashing deer.

Brat (in “Air” 13 Dec 17): My heart knows that “The Prayer Card” [] was a significant piece. It was exceptional and the Holy Spirit made it so. I’m certain that’s not my ego talking. So, Holy Spirit, if they are not ignoring You, why is Satan trying so hard to make it look like the people in my orbit are ignoring me? The behaviors are not showing a hook-up between spirit and action.

Angela Greenig: I saw very clearly what the enemy was doing. He began to slowly coil around the minds of the key leaders with serpent-like, calculated movement. All of the sudden, confusion was released, and it looked like whirlwinds in the air. The more confusion and doubt that people aligned themselves with, the stronger the whirlwinds became. As the demonic wind began to blow, it unearthed and exposed itself. This wind blew everywhere, leaving no area outside of its reach.

Lovesick Scribe: 2 Corinthians 11:4 speaks of tolerating another Jesus or a different spirit or gospel than the one proclaimed by the true apostles. This is disturbing, and this is what is happening in the body when tools of the devil are welcomed into the place reserved for the Lord. Strange fire ensues, and division comes on the embers of divination. God wants His body operating in unity of the faith and of the knowledge of His Son. He wants us mature and not carried off by every wind of doctrine tainted with human cunning and deceitful schemes (Ephesians 4:13-14).[3]

Alane Haynes: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23 KJV)

Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—

Alane Haynes: We have all come short of the glory (Romans 3:23). One definition of sinning in the Strong’s Concordance is “to be without a share in” and also “to miss the mark.” The root of the word means the negative of “a part due or assigned to one; lot, destiny.” Missing the fullness of our destiny! Jesus has paid the price and we have full access to our destiny. His life for ours! It is time to come forth into the fullness of glory! He has prayed for us to be one with Him in the glory; He has given us His glory! (John 17)

Kris Vallotton: How To Break Through When Prayer Alone Isn’t Working

Angela Greenig: On January 1, 2017, I then awoke and abruptly heard the sound of snakes, which I saw begin to move around the room in the spirit (not in the natural). I thought to myself, “This old serpent has been around since before the garden of Eden. He still wants to seduce, lie, twist, coil, and destroy our inheritance our destiny. Basically curse us!” They began encroaching at the gateways of the city, and the coast was lined with major demonic Powers. This continued to spread until the four corners of the earth were engrossed; it looked like a huge spider web being spun. I knew immediately in my spirit that a specific demonic assault had begun..

Pastor John Tolle: Houston, we have a problem!

Kris Vallotton: Are you stuck in a cycle you can’t get out of? Maybe it’s a cycle of insecurity, lack, or perhaps unhealthy relationships?

Anna Blake: Most of us have a few different personas. There’s the one for work; you watch your language there. The one for your oldest friend from high school; she’s the arbiter of honesty.  There is a “first” persona, for first dates, job interviews, and meeting strangers formally. We’re usually tense and shiny then, from trying too hard while simultaneously hoping to appear totally natural. Whew.

Julie Price: Your spiritual alignments are just as important in this year of family. There has never been a more CRITICAL TIME to know that you are rightly aligned with your immediate spiritual/ministry/church family. Don’t get stuck in the familiar with all you have ever known…if you know deep within that God is calling you out upon the uncharted waters to be grafted in with a new spiritual family! Many are experiencing these shifts within ministry and church relations. You need to make these types of tough decisions with spirit eyes and not the opinions of man.

Jennifer LeClaire: I’ve witnessed for many years a troubling trend in the prophetic movement—a trend that is proliferating among pontificating voices who parrot true prophets. Essentially, there’s a lot of plagiarism in the prophetic.

Kris Vallotton: If you’re stuck in a pattern then today is your day of breakthrough, what are you going to do about it?

Brat: That is one of the stupidest questions I have heard in a long time! If a person knew how to get unstuck they would have already done it! This is the dynamic of a stonghold and why God wants us to work as a team. If we could save ourselves, then why did Jesus have to go to the cross?

Pastor John Tolle: God wants to use how you are wired, but you say, “I wanna be a prophet-type not a mercy-type.” But God made you.

Brat: I do not see the prophetic anointing and the gift of mercy as opposed to one another.

Romans 9:25 As he says in Hosea: “I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people; and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,”

James Goll: This is a time when we go beyond the personal gift of prophesy, and we prophesy out of the glory realm. It is a metamorphosis including seclusion, melt down, reconfiguring and breaking out. You must see the church with new eyes. You must see there is no wall that separates the sacred and the secular. You must see your business, government and secular occupations as mission fields. When we see from the glory realm of God, we receive revelation to transform society.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: The wisdom of Joseph’s presentation to Pharaoh becomes strikingly clear when we reflect upon the spiritual message behind the story. For as we have noted a number of times, the stories of the Torah describe not only physical events that took place at a certain point in history, but also detail metaphysical and timeless tales occurring continuously within the human heart.

Tyler Medina (11 Dec 17): God then spoke to me and said I have sent my apostles and prophets to carry my covenant. He said through the mouth of the prophets I have sounded the alarm. I have signaled the time of advancement. They will uphold my covenant on dry ground while the body of Christ crosses over and advances to the other side. God is returning the apostolic mandate to the church and he is bringing reformation back to the body of Christ. There are apostolic voices rising up that God has commissioned to go before. They have been commissioned to bridge the gap and the church will once again embrace the fivefold ministry. They will work together according to their office, mandate, and calling. Like we see in the boom of Joshua they will work together as a team to advance to the point of breakthrough and of promise. This is the season of upgrade, and this is the season of the crossover in Jesus name.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I still didn’t know what he was talking about. Until he placed the diamond on my arm. It melted. It was a teardrop. I recognized that teardrop.

Anna Blake: Say you treat your horse like an old friend. You come late, you’re in a hurry. You dump your day, share joy or anger or frustration. How does he feel about that? A stoic horse shuts down from the emotion. Horses don’t hear pronouns; your stress is now theirs. Stress abides and soon he gives calming signals about his stress. It’s okay. We’ve been using horses this way forever, but you have to wonder, do I want to give my horse (or my oldest friend) my best self or leftovers?

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Which is the real you?”

“I dunno.”

Julie Price: Some of you need to quiet the voices around you and hear His heart for yourself and your families for the coming year. While others need to surround yourself with wise counsel to make sound decisions for the sake of you and your family! Don’t be so impressed by the gifts, but rather the fruit. The fruit will reveal the root. Who you receive from is critical as you make decisions and transitions concerning family and spiritual connections for the coming year!

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: …Quiet. The tears stopped. The shaking stopped. Catharsis. Stillness.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Have We Betrayed Our G-d? Has G-d Betrayed Us?

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): You’re old and so am I. We do not allow God to speak to us, because we’ve accepted our age and He’s not doing those things now. Show me the fruit of your old age. God has said, “You will be fruitful in your old age.”

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “I don’t know your name, old man,” I muttered. I kept moving.

Anna Blake: What do horses think about personas in general? I think we confuse them with the gap between who we are deep down and this surface behavior that can mean so many things. And more so if we change personas frequently. We confuse horses with our incongruency.

Alane Haynes: I hear the Lord say, “The host of Heaven is on alert. Come forth, sons and daughters in the earth. It is time for the new sound to be birthed. It will cause a vibration that will affect every tribe and nation, an eternal reverberation. Come forth in My glory, My host is at hand. It is time to go forth and subdue the land. The subduing is not a laying down under, subduing will come when My sound rises as thunder. All will see and all will know that I AM the Lord; let My glory flow. The sound will arise and cause a vibration aligning every tribe and nation, the sound of eternal reverberation.”

Anna Blake: You don’t need to change a thing. I’m just suggesting you notice the role your particular persona plays for your horse. If you have the perfect partnership, wonderful.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: A pause of silence again. Just for a moment.

“You’re the lead character of a role-playing game. So am I. So are all of us.”

“That’s ridiculous!”

Anna Blake: We have barn personas, too. Some of us put our horses in our old friend category; we can be whoever we want around them. Some of us want to do the right thing so badly that we show up like a Teacher’s pet, reciting rules precisely, wondering if there’s a horse making faces behind us.  Some of us pick a persona of a little girl around horses, giggling or swooning.

Shaul and Chaya Bracha Leiter: We know that the Torah relates to each of us personally. What can we learn from this ostensibly arcane principle that we can utilize to change our own lives for the better?

Holly Watson: God is about to collide two worlds by His Spirit to bring about a great end-time awakening and gathering in of the harvest of souls. A merging of streams through a mighty move of the Spirit of God spreading worldwide revival is travailing through its birth pains, even now, so that God gets the glory for all He has done! A new friendship is in the works! The Spirit of the Lord is breathing on Hollywood and the hearts of the people are primed and ready to receive Him.

Angela Greenig: It is time for them to arise. I now release the West wind to begin to blow.

Ryan LeStrange: My Monday Word for You…Release of a Heavenly Windstorm

Angela Greenig: Only once in the Old Testament is West wind mentioned, which is in Exodus 10, speaking of the plague of Locusts.

Exodus 10:10-15,19:

“Pharaoh said, “The LORD be with you—if I let you go, along with your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil. No! Have only the men go and worship the LORD, since that’s what you have been asking for.” Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh’s presence.”

Deception was clear for Pharaoh. He had no intention of letting God’s people go…but the Lord had a plan.

Leah D. Schade: It’s important to note, especially in the #MeToo age, when uninvited sexual aggression and/or misconduct is finally being exposed for the sin that it is, that this is not a story about divine force against a vulnerable female.  As Dean and Foster note, “God does not seize Mary and take her by force. God does not enter this girl, or any of us, without our consent.  After all, we don’t know how many stops Gabriel made before he got to Mary’s house.  What sets Mary apart from the rest of us is quite simple: She says yes,” (Lk 1:48).

Brat: If my journals are any clue, I can only imagine how many stops Gabriel had to make.

Anna Blake: What does a horse think about the dominant persona? As prey animals, they will submit in fear to a predator. Flight is the first response, but you can fight through that to submission. And since horses don’t have social media, they don’t know the #metoo hashtag. But fair warning; some mares never get the hang of submission.

Pastor John Tolle: People are sacrificing their lives to serve people. They sacrifice what you and I have so they can do what they do.

Mary Luti: But there was that time…

Pastor John Tolle: We fabricate what we sacrifice.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Hell no.”

“But you’ve been sent on a mission. And for that mission, you had to come back into a body.”

Brat: The Body of Christ.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Who needs it?”

“To come into a body, you needed to invest yourself within a personality that can handle a body.

Brat: I’m an introvert. I don’t handle it well.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: A kind of beast, driven by wants and needs, urges and passions. Often, it gets way out of hand. But you have control.”

“But I keep wanting those things. Chasing them. Like I don’t have a choice. I forget that whole scene up there.”

“That’s not you. That’s the beast. But you’re inside it, so you think it’s you.”

Anna Blake: Domination seems to work because horses may be hard to fool, but are fairly easy to intimidate. That kind of training won’t make a horse trustworthy, and not surprisingly, that’s how they see us. Untrustworthy. There is no trust in domination, on either side. No wonder some riders get a lump in their stomach.

Brian Simmons: Trust in God and watch as He demonstrates the depths of His love toward you today. Let His love be your victory.

Anna Blake: This last one is touchy. Do you arrive at the mounting block in domination mode? It’s the most complex barn persona because it’s how most of us were taught. Be the boss and demand respect through fear. It’s also the one most riders I work with tell me is the one they hate the most.

Jo: I struggle every day trying to get respect for what i love.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: Hi asked, “So what’s this story about?”

Julie Price: Many have come around you in this season dressed like Holy Spirit, but they were wrapped in divination and it brought confusion and more into your life. Not every spirit is Holy Spirit! Test it, test it, and stand on the words YOU KNOW God has spoken over your family and your life! Don’t let pride close your ears from hearing what you may have been listening to and picking up on the wrong spirit.

Mary Luti: No, you aren’t thrashing through underbrush frantically seeking water. You don’t really relate to that panting deer. You don’t have experiences of God that feel that real. You’re no mystic.

Jo: He has opened the door to hell. I cannot tell you how a trapped animal feels when the person who trapped them attacks them.

Angela Greenig: Throughout the year of 2017, the Father continued to unravel details of this vision to me, and has been giving me divine insight to speak and prophesy to His people about its meaning. I believe that Leviathan is ravaging and destroying men and women of God. Many people are battling with confusion to such a degree that they can’t even make simple decisions anymore. Many have begun to second-guess themselves, which leads to doubt and opens them up to deception.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “And everything you felt in that other world?”

Jeremiah 11: 18 Because the Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing. 19 I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying,

“Let us destroy the tree and its fruit;
let us cut him off from the land of the living,
that his name be remembered no more.”

Lovesick Scribe: The Lord desires a pure prophetic flow from His bride. Cleansing comes by the washing of water with the Word (Ephesians 5:26). The Holy Spirit is the Living water that should flow out of us. Understand that in the body of Christ, we are to judge within the church (1 Corinthians 5:12). It is contradictory to the Word of God to say otherwise. We are to examine the fruit of a professed believer’s life and judge it according to the Word of God. We are called upon to not believe every spirit but to test the spirits and to determine if the spirit is of God (1 John 4:1).

Shaul and Chaya Bracha Leiter: The verse explains that to preserve the produce it must be mixed with local soil.  How do we preserve Torah produce, our soul’s food, so it will not be lost?

Vince Amlin: That’s not my battle, but I sympathize. As a pastor I spend plenty of time worrying about protecting Jesus, about sheltering the Holy One from an unkind world. I devote my days to laying bricks and my sleepless nights to fussing over blueprints.

Asharon Baltazar: Mustering temerity he did not feel, Reb Mordechai addressed the judge, “We are Jews, and we lit the candles that night to observe the holiday of Chanukah.”

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I didn’t know what to answer. So he went on.

Shaul and Chaya Bracha Leiter: The Torah is sharing a principle – that produce will stay fresh longer if stored with soil from the same locale.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Do you know where you are?”

Rabbi YY Jacobson: “Tonight is the first night of Chanukah.”

Child: This Little Light of Mine, I’m Gonna Let It Shine… []

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: The kids were all running off. Hi ran after them. I got up slowly and looked down all the paths, but none of them were anywhere to be found.

Child: All around the neighborhood, I’m gonna let it shine…

Brat: What happened?

Pastor John Tolle: Ninety-five percent of the people in your life have a form of godliness.

2 Timothy 3:5-7 (KJV)

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “I was scuba diving. Hey, I was out for four months! They thought I was dead. That would make anyone weak!”

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): You tell me that’s not you. God bless you for your excuses. They don’t keep the miracle going.

Brat: Personally, I’ve stopped listening to the excuses.

Shaul and Chaya Bracha Leiter: Why does the Torah stress the need for local soil? The Torah is teaching us that sometimes humility is misplaced. Some people invoke false humility when asked by someone else to teach them Torah. They say “I am too spiritually weak to teach someone else.” Or if you see a problem and ignore it,  responding that someone else more qualified will take care of it, this is also a type of false humility. We even see this in the battle against our evil inclination. In the war against our bad habits, there is no place for humility, as the Mishnah teaches (Avot 5:20) “Be bold as a leopard…and strong as a lion to fulfill the will of your Father in Heaven.” We have to use all the force and power we have. The Torah is telling us that while studying Torah with humility is a must, humility in other aspects of our lives is not always correct.

Pastor John Tolle: All those excuses don’t welcome the messenger.

Molly Baskette: God came as Jesus to make a home here among us, and yet was homeless in most of the moments we can see as we peer through the Advent calendar windows of his life: his birth in a cave, the pell-mell flight to Egypt, his itinerant preaching years. Maybe this means homes are overrated. Or maybe it was strategic: God sharing our fullest experience, so we would know that She knows what lack is.

Pastor John Tolle: The Holy Spirit is looking for a womb or room.

Molly Baskette: Prayer
Jesus, You came into this world homeless and You left it the same way. And when You finally learned to talk, You told us “as much as you tend the least of these, you tended Me.” Help us to see and serve You, wherever You appear.

Jennifer LeClaire: While I know all too well that God speaks to many different prophetic voices about the exact same word, Scripture or theme, I am convinced prophetic plagiarists are acting like high-schoolers who didn’t have time to read their literature assignment and are depending on Cliff Notes instead.

Brat (in “Ablaze” 5 Dec 17): For the record, I remember they actually cut my face out of the group picture to make it seem like I hadn’t really been there. By snapshot they symbolically cut me out of community, but they couldn’t cut out the fellowship in me. They tried to alter my destiny. I understand that “boys will be boys” and they were behaving like junior high adolescents. I forgave them. I worship God anyway. Wouldn’t you?

Leah D. Schade: Did you catch that?  In Luke 1:29 after hearing the startling announcement that she, a teenage girl engaged to be married, has found favor with God, Mary stops to think about that.  We’re told that she is perplexed and “ponders” what’s going on here.  The Greek word means that she is turning things over in her mind.  She’s thinking.  She’s not a vacant field in which God will plant the seed of the Messiah.  She’s not a servant to be ordered around.

Psalm 89:22 The enemy shall not outwit him, the wicked shall not humble him.

Lana Vawser: These powerful set up’s and encounters with the Lord and the power of His Spirit are about to release you from the STUCK places and ACTIVATE you in the NEW places He has for you, but you MUST position yourself! TARRY!

Pastor John Tolle: You have a calling that’s different than you think.

Leah D. Schade: You, like Mary, are the magnifying glass for others to see God in greater detail, to help others see God in an even bigger way.  And God is filling you with joy that causes you to stand and sing aloud your newfound song.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I needed time alone. I needed to think. I wasn’t interested in getting into a conversation with some old man babysitting his grandchildren.

Pastor John Tolle: I love Christmas and especially the part of watching the grandkids rip the wrapping paper off of their gifts . . . then seeing their faces light up with great happiness when they see their gift.  It makes one’s heart feel great.  I wonder if that is how God the Father feels when we continue to unwrap his gift of Jesus with anticipation and joy.

Steve Shultz: As we come into 2018, God will continue to “lift the lid”, “blow their cover”, and “remove the veil” or hidden darkness in the earth.

Mary Luti: Prayer
I’m so thirsty for you, O God. Like the deer. When will I see you face to face?

Bobby (17 Dec 17): We will see Jesus face to face when we are in heaven after we die. Down here we would die if we saw Him.

Anna Blake: Do you ever get the impression that you show up at the barn and your horse is watching you with an expression of “who are you today?

Zechariah 5:Then the angel who was speaking to me came forward and said to me, “Look up and see what is appearing.”

I asked, “What is it?”

He replied, “It is a basket.” And he added, “This is the iniquity of the people throughout the land.”

Steve Shultz: God has always done this. Everything done in darkness (intentional, hidden evil trying not to be found out) will be shown in the light. “For nothing is hid, that shall not be made manifest; nor [anything] secret, that shall not be known and come to light” (Luke 8:17).

Zechariah 5: Then the cover of lead was raised, and there in the basket sat a woman! He said, “This is wickedness,” and he pushed her back into the basket and pushed its lead cover down on it.

Jennifer LeClaire: If you’ve been a prophetic pirate or parrot, repent. God wants to give you your own unique prophetic expression. You’re more likely to hear something spectacular from God if you spend more time in His presence and less time listening to what others are prophesying.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby: This year we have learned a new phrase in various parts of the world. This phrase is ‘fake news’. Fake news is dishonest; it is deliberate misinformation published in order to deceive, to confuse and disrupt. Fake news is used as a weapon to achieve dishonest advantage and to subvert honest debate and discussion. It is the antithesis of the good news. Fake news is but lying and does not come from God.

Lovesick Scribe: The problem now is the darkness pervading the prophetic through those who willingly use the same tools with a different spin on them. Emotions and the soulish realm gauge the authenticity of the encounter instead of the gauge being the Word of God. It is a skewed form of godliness, but denying its power (2 Timothy 3:5). The power is not in the prophecy itself, but the relationship with Jesus Christ and the revelation of His heart. What happens when those professing to be part of the body of Christ counterfeit the imitation? The result is a counterfeit of a counterfeit. The result is another step away from the right Spirit, the Holy Spirit. The result is people without proper discernment being led astray by those who are also without proper discernment. A tainted prophetic flow gives the enemy what he has always wanted from the beginning: worship and exaltation.

Brat: This could be a redemption point.

Angela Greenig: Jesus’ Kingdom is a spiritual Kingdom ruling in the hearts of His people, who have been taken out of the kingdoms of this world. As a Heavenly Kingdom, we can operate and maintain in this realm but it comes with a cost. It is gained through suffering, self-denial, humility, and meekness. It does require giving our bodies as a living and Holy sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2). Fasting is a key here that enables us to stay on target; we then know we have complete devotion and obedience to God whenever we are struggling with spiritual weapons against sin, temptation, and satan (Ephesians 6:10-20). It means as Christians we resist conforming to this world.

Zechariah 5: Then I looked up—and there before me were two women, with the wind in their wings! They had wings like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth.

Jo: My spirit and soul will not allow me to give away joy and a little wildness to live in a world of self denial and stifling quiet. His worship of self denial is absorbent to me.

Kim: Consideration – every problem is also a possibility –

Brat: I, too, am sick of the worship of self-denial and stifling quiet in the Churches. This isn’t putting God first; it’s putting self first rather than celebrating the fact that God is present.

Zechariah 5: 10 “Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel who was speaking to me.

11 He replied, “To the country of Babylonia to build a house for it. When the house is ready, the basket will be set there in its place.”

Vince Amlin: Then I hear the umbrage in God’s words to David:

“Are you the one to build me a house?!”

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: That stopped me. “How do you know I don’t have the strength?”

Steve Shultz: I grabbed my Bible. What?

Revelation 3:8-9: “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept My Word and have not denied My name. I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.”

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Where are you running?” he yelled. “You don’t have the strength yet.”

Steve Shultz: Wow! In that one Scripture, God told me that He knew I had only a LITTLE STRENGTH, but He had noticed that I had not quit. I had not stopped believing. I’d kept His Word. I’d continued to call myself a Believer, a follower of Christ. No matter how many attacks came against me and no matter how many times I had short-term doubts, God was rewarding me with the promise that I had “kept HIS WORD!”

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: His warmth, his genuine concern—he really pulled me in.

Nate Johnston: The Invitation of Fire

Asharon Baltazar: “You lit Chanukah candles? You lit Chanukah candles?” the judge repeated to himself, clearly unsettled. “You don’t say … Chanukah candles.”

Anna Blake: Horses want honesty. They can tell when we pretend to be someone we’re not. The more I’m around horses, the more they show me it’s our true intention that matters most. Horses blossom when we become the best version of ourselves.

Angela Greenig: Many of you are coming out of the valley of Jehoshaphat, which means the valley of decision. Lord, I ask for your Ruach (the breath of Your Holy Spirit) to breathe on your people, and allow the bones to come together. As the body comes together in right alignment, so will His divine order come into right alignment! Those of you who have been truly ordained, called, and touched by God, your time for Kingdom alignment is now. The destruction and chaos the enemy has released in your life in the past 12 months is coming to an end; the Lord is commanding the darkness to bow and surrender. What was held back from you as God’s people will be no longer withheld.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: Hi looked me straight in the eye. A caring look, like I was one of his grandkids. He said, “Tell me what you saw in your coma.”

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): “You’re taking care of your business.”

Jennifer LeClaire: Plagiarism is stealing and passing off (the ideas or words of another) as one’s own: use (another’s production) without crediting the source, according to Merriam-Webster. This dictionary also defines plagiarize as “to commit literary theft: present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.”[4]

Lovesick Scribe: A Clarion Call to Purge the Prophetic of the Counterfeited Counterfeit

Brat: I do give credit to my sources and leave their words in tact with the person who said them. My pieces are original forms of expression. Conversations are boring when the same stuff gets rehashed and nothing gets resolved. Sometimes the only way to have a conversation is to make one!

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): It’s boring and costly if we try to do it our way.

Lovesick Scribe: In our current spiritual climate, there are many things occurring in the name of revival and Jesus Christ. Some things are within our comfort zone and understanding while other things really stretch us and challenge us. I do not pretend to have all the answers. However, when there are professed Christians taking tools utilized by the kingdom of darkness and morphing them into tools with a similar purpose but a different branding, that is a slippery slope racing to the finish line of witchcraft while preaching another Christ.

Angela Greenig: The devil is cunning as he coils around the mind. It’s very slow in the beginning, almost undetectable, and then BAM! He strikes, and you feel the penetrating blow. Once you start doubting yourself, it’s only a matter of time before your vision becomes cloudy and fear sets in; even sickness of the mind and body. Some of you reading this right now have asked yourselves questions, such as, “Why am I so confused? This isn’t like me.”

Vince Viozzi: “That’s a lie from the enemy. The emphasis is to be on Me and on My delivering power to set all people free anywhere and in any place! The fact that many of you have not walked a clean path in the past is your testimony that the paths of other pursuits are not the answer! I Am the answer! I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life, and there is only freedom in Me. Many from the younger generation coming up in the film industry and media mountain, will be turned to the Lord and spared great trials and incredible depths of pain and turmoil because of these Hollywood Missionaries!”

Emily C. Heath: Ridiculous Stories

Anna Blake: Are you a little Type A? Just to save time, raise your hand if you aren’t. I’m not sure why perfectionists are drawn to horses but we are. We nit-pick, micro-manage, and fall short of our own ridiculous standards. We create a crust of self-loathing. Horses experience it as never being right. Not you, them. They never feel good enough, like everything they do is partly wrong. Sound familiar? Horses lose confidence. It kills their try and eventually their souls, but we might think they look like push-button horses. (Mares, not so much.)

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): Pushback, I get it. I’m not UPS. I’m just me and I don’t do that.

Brat: How long do you think it took Jesus to make a whip? (John 2:15)

Shaul and Chaya Bracha Leiter: Chanukah almost always falls in the week our portion, Mikeitz. In the Talmud we find a question. How long is the period in which we may light the Chanukah candles? Is it like the evening prayer that can be prayed all night? The Talmud’s answer is “Until there are no more feet in the market place.” Since the mitzvah of the Chanukah candles is to publicize the miracles of the oil for the menorah and the victory of the Chashmonaim, it is only appropriate to perform this mitzvah while people are still out and about. There is another way to understand the quote in Hebrew, “עד שתכלה רגל מן השוק” (the use of the word “feet”). Foot in Hebrew (“regel”) can also refer to a person’s ingrained bad habits. (The word “regel” shares the same root as the Hebrew word “hergel” (ingrained). The Talmud is teaching us that we have to keep lighting up the world with the strength of the Chanukah candles, the power of the divine, shining and enlightening the physical world, until we overcome the power of all the bad habits that we picked up in the market place of life.

Brat: Maybe the whip was left in the barn? It’s probably safer that way. No one would get hurt.

Vince Amlin: Prayer
How silly that we prepare to welcome you, Jesus. As if you were the guest, and we the hosts. Come, Emmanuel, and let us rest in you.

Brat (in “Suitcase” 19 Dec 17): The Church who is Your hands and feet hasn’t internalized how much mercy You have shown to Your people. Mercy was taken for granted. May she now see, know, understand, and hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches.

Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 5:10 pm                  Journal: I just saw today’s Bible Verse of the Day: Oh my God! (I say with great awe!)

And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven ~ Luke 1:76-78 (NIV)

James Goll: Convergence: There is a convergence of the glory and the marketplace. Jesus, in the last hour, went to the marketplace and declared, “This is My House of My Presence.” Knowledge will increase—not only the experience, but the capacity to teach, train and multiply the glory realm of the Lord.

Brat: Loves and Fishes

Asharon Baltazar: “If you lit Chanukah candles, let me demonstrate the right way to light them.”

Matthew Laney: My approach is to encourage the congregation to shout “Hallelujah!” “Amen!” or “Praise the Lord” while applauding making it clear that we are praising the divine giver of all gifts and not the human(s) through whom the gift comes. This has yet to catch on in Hartford, Connecticut.

Brat: In the “loaves and fishes” phenomenon God takes our meager offerings and multiplies them to feed thousands. He does the same with our words when they are infused with His Spirit. Our words are not our own to hoard. If our words are of Him and He is trying to communicate with His people and have a conversation, then the dialogue is holy. The false prophet serves him/herself.

Asharon Baltazar: “What do you have to say for yourself?” the judge pressed on.

Monk: It’s not about me. Jesus lifted up the bread and the wine and gave thanks to God. We do this in remembrance of Him.

Leah D. Schade: Your soul doth magnify the Lord.

Matthew Laney: I get it. Worship is not entertainment. We don’t gather to praise gifted orators and great musicians. However, in many cultures, especially non-Anglo cultures, applause is a genuine and irrepressible expression of holy praise.

Jennifer LeClaire: Noteworthy is the reality that God does not call them “false prophets.” You would expect false prophets to pour out plagiarize prophecies—and I am quite sure they do. But the Lord did not call them false prophets.

Brat: Ok. I stand corrected.

James Goll: It is a time when titles will not determine one’s identity. We have already had a “title wave”, what we now need is a “tidal wave” to hit the body of Christ and confront and cleanse us from any false identity being derived from our positions, functions, titles, experiences or gifting. When we relearn how to walk in a culture of honor, we realize that it is more about heart relational connections of the heart and walking in integrity. Yes, you will receive a prophet’s reward.

Anna Blake: Truth #1: You can be whoever you want at the barn. It’s all good as long as you don’t ever complain about anything your horse does. Ever.

Zechariah 5: And he said to me, “This is the curse that is going out over the whole land; for according to what it says on one side, every thief will be banished, and according to what it says on the other, everyone who swears falsely will be banished. The Lord Almighty declares, ‘I will send it out, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in that house and destroy it completely, both its timbers and its stones.’”

Jennifer LeClaire: It’s been said imitation is the highest form of flattery. But to imitate someone’s prophetic word as if you got it straight out of a “profound prophetic dream,” a throne-room experience or a still small voice coming unto you saying isn’t flattery. It’s a falsehood.

Brat: Oh, lookey here. Kitty Paw has one claw out.

Monk: Brat…

Brat: I will retract it. This is a job for the Holy Spirit, not me.

Asharon Baltazar: How the Gulag Judge Lit the Menorah

Pastor John Tolle: God doesn’t do new things unless we accept what He has. If you’re not willing to break old ways, He can’t bring in anything new.

Jennifer LeClaire: This, mind you, is hardly a new trend. Jehovah God pointed it out thousands of years ago in Jeremiah 23:30:

“‘Therefore,’ declares the LORD, ‘I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me'” (NIV). The New Living Translation puts it this way: “‘Therefore,” says the Lord, ‘I am against these prophets who steal messages from each other and claim they are from me.'” The Holman Christian Standard Bible offers this spin: “‘Therefore, take note! I am against the prophets’—the LORD’s declaration—’who steal My words from each other.'”

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Elijah’s light continues to shine to this very day. In his world, the times of plenty and times of famine were never disconnected.

Anna Blake: And sure. Some of us create personas that are dishonest.

Kim: I’m curious to see what you do with this possibility cleverly disguised as a problem-

Brat: I’m listening…

Julie Price: The spirit of Baal, Jezebel—and divination as a whole—has crept in around many in an effort to pull you off destiny’s path. Many demonic spirits have spoken to you—disguised as His Spirit—encouraging you to give up on your family members and your destiny. The Spirit of God is trying to get your attention today. Be ever so careful about the words you receive into your spirit and the voices you take in. The spirit of divination is hard at work to convince you to make choices that will abort the family destiny that is about to spring forth in this coming year.

Brat: Access is still an issue on my end. How do I access the Churches to get the word out? There’s no response. Nobody home?

Helen Calder: The key to all prayer is not a formula, it is simply relationship with God. We have a Father in Heaven who loves us and we have access to His throne through Jesus’ shed Blood (Heb. 10:19-20). Jesus’ teaching on prayer can be summed up as, “…Ask your Father in My name…” (see John 15:16).

Brat: I have access to God. It’s the Churches that remain far off. God gave me this stupid assignment of the reconciliation of the Churches. He’s into Mission Impossibles, and even told Mary so!

Luke 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God.”

(Do you think Tom Cruise knows Him? The hero is always fighting the latest beast.)

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “What the …?”

“I don’t see you ever totally conquering that beast. On the contrary, every time you beat him, you go up a level and the beast gets tougher to handle. It’s smart. It learns your strategies.”

“Then what’s the point? What a dumb game!”

Hi looked towards me again. “It’s not dumb, Josh. It’s amazing. You just don’t understand the game.”

Brat: I read Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “So if I’m not a superhero, what am I?”

“You’re a guy in-between.”

“In between what?”

“In between a superhero and a villain.”

“You mean like the superhero’s sidekick?”

“Well, sort of.”

“The guy who can get killed?”

“Well, yes, you are pretty vulnerable in this game.”

Anna Blake: It isn’t that we’re being dishonest, we’re just choosing a version of ourselves for a particular situation. Some of it is following a set of rules that we imagine is required. It’s being professional or respectful or nervous. It’s being witty and conversational when you’re an introvert and you’d rather be mucking the barn.

Brat: Here! Here!

James Goll: In order to reach the New Fields of Harvest, it is essential that a new prophetic language be developed to reach different groups of people.

Shaul and Chaya Bracha Leiter: “Collecting produce” can be understood on a human level as referring to the Torah we study.  Just as the body needs food, so does the soul. The food of the soul is Torah. And we spend a lifetime collecting it.

Angie Stolba: Cast not away your confidence, and let your hope arise! Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19). Your very tears have been fertilizing the ground of your harvest, and you are going to reap great joy. Get ready to be in awe of God’s continuing faithfulness in your life!

Steve Shultz: Whistle-blowers are abounding which is resulting in people finally reporting crimes, abuse and corruption, and this will continue to bring evil out into the light.

Anna Blake: Truth #2: You’re not fooling anyone. Not your trainer or friends. Least of all, your horse. And if you have a mare, she knows the truth about you that day, before you get up in the morning.

Jeremiah 11: 20 But you, Lord Almighty, who judge righteously
and test the heart and mind,
let me see your vengeance on them,
for to you I have committed my cause.

Brat: The reconciliation of the Churches is my cause. What is theirs?

Zechariah 5: 1 I looked again, and there before me was a flying scroll.

He asked me, “What do you see?”

I answered, “I see a flying scroll, twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.”

Brat: Like the Internet?

Holly Watson: As darkness is overshadowed by the glory of God, a harvest of souls will become the new normal for Hollywood’s day-to-day “business as usual” transformational process! The Great Commission will be exploding onto the Hollywood scene! “God is in the midst of her, she will not topple; God will help her, just at the break of dawn” (Psalm 46:5)!

Mary Luti: Waiting is the hallmark of Advent, yet the Advent psalms and prophets speak more about longing than waiting. Panting, fainting, begging, crying, desperate human need. Waiting can be active, but it’s rarely terrible and driving. Desire is visceral, like the crazed thirst of a wild animal in a parched land. God is a fierce and unrelenting need.

Brat: How does one have a conversation when words are horded?

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I didn’t hear the words. All I knew was that this was something that totally reframed life. I was being sent on a mission, and they were briefing me.

Brat: Ugh! I can’t be any clearer!

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Elijah cracked. All at once he threw himself into the greasy vat and furiously rolled around like a crazed beast.  And how the commander howled. It was a deep belly laugh of satanic satisfaction. The last of the Jews had been broken.

Asharon Baltazar: “Take this group of 18 men,” the judge barked, “and separate them, making sure that it would be impossible for them to see one another. There’s no point in killing them, they are not worth even one bullet.”

Edie Bayer (13 Dec 17): This is what the Lord has taught me so far about how to communicate through the Spirit.  This is not exhaustive, and He is continually adding to this list:

  1. It is contingent on UNCONDITIONAL LOVE – Without unconditional love, we cannot communicate through the Spirit (see John 15:12-14).  It is possible, because Jesus asked Peter if He ‘Agape’ Him (see John 21:17); not just once, but twice.
  2. FOCUS – We must FOCUS on the message while we are attempting to communicate in the spirit (see Col. 3:2).
  3. We must Be IN THE SPIRIT to communicate BY the spirit (see Rev. 1:10).
  4. We must BELIEVE that we can do it – and do not doubt! Because NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES (see Mark 9:23)!

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: Then I took the risk. I told him what I hadn’t told anyone else. I just felt, finally there’s a person who’s not going to think I’m going nuts.

Brat: I know something about this topic. How can I help? Part of the network is being able to connect and exchange information.

Shaul and Chaya Bracha Leiter: Mixing our Torah study with “soil” hints to studying Torah with humility. Quoting from the final paragraph of the silent prayer (the Shmona Esrei), Chazal (the ancient wise men, their memory be blessed) share the following teaching, “My soul will be like dust to all…”’ and then immediately it continues, “…open my heart to Your Torah”. When I am like dust, humble, only then is my heart open to (and can preserve) Your Torah. Studying Torah with humility means that I understand that I cannot go it alone, that I need the Torah, G-d’s will and wisdom, to succeed in my life’s challenges, to rise from level to level and even to truly understand my environment. When a Jewish person studies Torah with humility he, and those around him, recognize that G-d is the “Giver of the Torah”- not man.

Matthew Laney: Some hold me responsible for not cracking down on this growing aberration, for failing to silence those who treat elements of worship like a secular performance, clapping and slapping holiness right out the door.

Rick Joyner: If we are trying to win men by doing what they approve of, they will never respect us enough to hear us anyway, and we will lose God in the process.

Alane Haynes: I heard, “The angels of the Lord Sabaoth (Lord of Hosts) are waiting, on alert, for the fullness of the sound of the army of the living God to arise in the earth. The sound is building, take your place; come forth and roar! Do you hear the sound of Heaven drawing? It is the eternal sound of your Holy calling!”

Asharon Baltazar: Recomposing himself, the judge called to the two guards present in the courtroom and asked them to stand outside. When the door clicked closed, the judge turned his attention back to Reb Mordechai.

Moshe Kravitz: The Rabbis taught: “The mitzvah of the Chanukah candle is to place it in the outer part of the doorway of the house” (Shabbat 21b). This is when the door of the house opens onto a public thoroughfare, but if it opens onto a private yard, the candle is to be placed by the front gate of the yard (Tosafot). Rashi comments that the reason why the candle should be outside is to publicize the miracle of Chanukah. Unlike Tosafot, Rashi deems it sufficient to set it by the door of the house even when the door opens on to a yard.

Monk: Are chickens in the yard? (Lk 13:34)

Brat (in “Suitcase” 19 Dec 17): The golden goose still needs a hen house even though the giant steals her eggs.

Monk: I saw “Chicken Run,” ya’ know! Talk about the Gulag!

2 Samuel 7:7 Wherever I have moved about among all the people of Israel, did I ever speak a word with any of the tribal leaders of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying, “Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?”

Brat: I’ve never seen a hen house made of cedar. I’ve seen cedar closets and cedar chests before. And cedar patio decks, benches, and chips for gardens. Maybe there’s a cabin in the Redwoods made of cedar. Whatever… It’s beyond me.

Lord, give us wisdom and direction.

Romans 16:26 but is now disclosed, and through the prophetic writings is made known to all the Gentiles, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith –

Monk: Disclosed? Is it? Is it really?

Steve Shultz: Lord, Thank You that having faith is easier than I thought. Thank You for clarifying that all I need to do is NOT QUIT. I will NOT GIVE up. I will TRUST YOU LORD, NO MATTER WHAT. Please take that as MY FAITH!

Brat (in “Suitcase” 19 Dec 17): Wise ones know the truth and make grace space for mercy because of it. Truth sets us free, but it’s mercy that brings us back. We ride through the pain to get to the message.

Matthew Laney: Holy Applause

Brat: That is God’s message to the Churches. To the frightened prophets who are scared of their words getting stolen; to the frightened Churches who are afraid of God’s holiness; to the rabbis who want to please and do everything right and worry they can’t measure up; to the sons of Ishmael who feel they have to fight for purity; to the little boys and girls running away from home and are lost with suitcases in hand and have been praying for family to love them and accept them as they are; we are all God’s children. Jesus paid the price and loves us anyway. God is merciful even though we have behaved like little sh– big rats. God loves us, not our behavior. God’s love aches through our pain and the truth does set us free. It is God’s mercy that brings us back home.

Pastor John Tolle: The wisemen of old “opened their treasures and presented gifts to Jesus . . .” and we will do the same!

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Josh, the real you is pure.”

Matthew Laney: A conflict is brewing in the church I serve, inspired by a sharp uptick of questionable behavior in worship over the past few years: Applause.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: The deep voice is back now: “There’s one more promise. Let’s say the whole world is talking about you. They’re all saying that you are so good. They say you’re a superhero. What do you say?”

“I say, “Hey, thanks guys! That’s just what I want to be!”

“No, Josh.”

“No. You look at yourself and you say you’re no different than the villain.”

“Say wha?”

“You heard.”

“But that’s real depressing. I can’t always be down on myself. Guilt, guilt, guilt. Hey, I took a credit in positive psychology you know.”

None of them seemed impressed.

Anna Blake: If you think it might be time for a persona upgrade, that you are serious about wanting more and better with your horse, then consider being seriously positive.

2 Samuel 7:11 from the time that I appointed judges over My people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover the LORD declares to you that the LORD will make you a house.

Brat: It is Mercy that smells sweeter than cedar and will make a home of God’s house.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: No transition, no time spent. In that world, you move without motion. Instantly, I’m standing before those same three lights.

2 Samuel 7:16 Your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before Me; your throne shall be established forever.

Jo: It is possible to see differently and share the vision, enhancing both party’s journey.

Matthew Laney: Quiet reflection has its place. Who wants a round of applause on the heels of “Silent Night”? Yet for me, the last word on this topic comes from the last book of the Bible: Revelation. When God arrives to “wipe every tear from our eyes” because death is no more, it can’t possibly be met with quiet, somber reverence but only with full bodied joy, dancing, whoops of laughter and thunderous applause.

Brat: Lord, I don’t think we know what Mercy is yet. We have the stories. We have the parables and sermons on the Prodigal Son, but I don’t think we know it in our cells, viscerally and experientially, yet. I’m convinced that it is MERCY that will create revival. It is so rare that it will be like paving the streets with gold, once the Church allows this message to penetrate her heart.

Torrey Marcel Harper: “A Synergy Revival Upon All Flesh”

Matthew Laney: Every Sunday we get a taste of God’s grief-and-death-conquering-power as we sit in God’s living room. Why not express our joy and gratitude on earth as it is in heaven right now, even as God comes again to dwell among us?

Matt Fitzgerald: Then at Christmas we peer into the heart of God’s house. What is the manger if not the alley behind the height of mountains? In it we find an exhausted mother, an unkempt father and the word made flesh, helpless. All our gleaming beauty lives on the beating heart of God. And the beating heart of God is not perfect. It rests on straw and inhales the smell of cattle. As Rowan Williams says, “the whole system of the universe turns on the sort of love we find in a helpless child.”

Brat: Rowan Williams was one of the many I’ve written to. God’s love never fails. It never gives up. In fact, he was up there in front, when my church broke apart.

Pastor John Tolle: As some of you know, it has always been one of my pastoral commitments to call us to give beyond what is normal . . . to give gifts to Jesus by giving to those in need.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: It was like me and that old man were standing there right in front of me. I was enveloped in a stream of light that poured from who-knows-where. The light grabbed the man’s words and carried them upward. But me—I was like a dark wick inside a bright flame.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: The Oil & the Wick: The Danger of Religion

Pastor John Tolle: Like in Christmases past, we are endeavoring to bless ministries that are doing the work of Jesus Christ in their area of assignment and influence.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: Hi’s words snapped me out of it. “You still talk to him, don’t you?”

Brat: Lambeth Palace said they didn’t know what to say. Where do you take a conversation like this?

Pastor John Tolle: As Christians we’re always pointing back. Most aren’t embracing what’s ahead. Most want to veg.

Brat: Are you greasing the pig with margarine or butter?

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I struggled to answer. I wanted to say what a bummer that was—when I just forced myself to act interested and caring, but all that caring had left me. I couldn’t open my mouth. I didn’t need to. I was already watching that scene.

Jo: I can live with his life but cannot have it imposed on me.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Why the Jug of Oil, Not the Military Victory, Became the Story

Pastor John Tolle: The military serves under command. He defines, describes, and calls us, not to serve our own box, but to serve His will. That’s where He’s most at work. He’s growing us up. To borrow Paul’s words: I labor until Christ is fully formed in you.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby: This Christmas I pray that we might, as Christians with one voice, proclaim again the good news that is our salvation in Jesus Christ.

Matt Fitzgerald: Restaurant professionals call this “the heart of the house.” If the heart doesn’t beat, the whole place stops. The heart heaves the garbage bag and the heart chops onions. The heart speaks Spanish. The heart works hard at humble tasks. The heart is messy, but the gleam needs it. The gleam lives on sweat, mess and prep cooks.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: Deep in that murky me, a dark light glowed. Like the blue light inside the depths of a flame, where oxygen and carbon meet and fuel is consumed. I could feel myself burning away like a charred roast on a barbecue spit.

James Goll: Father, in Jesus’ wonderful name, we consecrate ourselves to You and Your purposes in our lives and in our generation. We declare that we are receiving a fresh measure of Your grace to complete the assignments previously given to us. With faith and obedience, we align ourselves to pass under the shepherd’s rod and come into the new season You have for each one of us. Thank you that these are the days of acceleration and that Your plans and purposes will be swiftly established in Jesus great name! Amen and Amen!

Narrator: …Back to Elijah in the Gulag…

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Elijah studied the shirt again, finding another choice spot to tear. A spot he had purposely saturated with grease from his rolling in the margarine tub.  That night Elijah led the others in the lighting of the Chanukah flames. The wicks came from the strips of his shirt, and the bits of margarine Elijah had furiously scavenged was the oil.

Brat: Hmmm…Expectations, Fr David and the Church, becoming awake, wicks, hmmm…

Refocus: Horton Hears a Who, by Dr Seuss.

Pastor John Tolle: “Expecting  – Keep on Singing

Brat: Excuse me, but that’s what Ursula told Ariel in Disney’s “Little Mermaid” and Ariel’s voice got imprisoned in a box. This doesn’t go well. Been there, done that. Been doing that! You said we should NOT serve our own boxes, but serve God’s will. The Baby Jesus was laid in a feed trough – a box. It was not a coffin. That would come later. I offer to God my voice through this medium of expression as a tool of redemption for Him to use as loaves and fishes from this very blog box.

Monk: He was saying that expectations were what were disturbing him.  Look out! We’re cycling back around again…

[Insert favorite cuss word.]

Brat: Is he having some kind of mental breakdown? I believe he is having a spiritual breakdown. (Thank God!) This ties in with some truth Pastor John gave us yesterday (17 Dec 17):

Pastor John Tolle: “God doesn’t do new things unless we accept what He has. If you’re not willing to break old ways, He can’t bring in anything new.”

Fr David: Keep CALM and CARRY ON!

Panda Express Fortune cookie say: BE BOLD TRY SOMETHING NEW

Pastor John Tolle: God will confirm what He says. He always does.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Later, after the guards left and the Jews were in their barracks, Elijah took off his shirt and began to tear it to shreds. The others looked on in silence. Had Elijah gone mad?  He would study the shirt for a moment, carefully looking it over, as if searching for some exact location, and then tear that area into a strip. He looked up. His eyes were on fire.

Vince Amlin: And that’s good news. Because in place of our temples, God builds a home for us to dwell in: on earth, in our skins, at the heart of the divine.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Josh, do you know what this is?”

Jo: He can not clone me into a mindless woman without needs who simply goes thru life only on his desires. He has to stop looking at any suggestion or input from me as an insulting imposition.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: Again, that dark light was burning. It was eating away at me, like a worm eating away at all the puss and meanness inside me.

Asharon Baltazar: Reb Mordechai burst into bitter tears, and for a few minutes he stood in front of the judge, sobbing uncontrollably. Years of crushing pain and pent-up emotions overwhelmed him and couldn’t be stopped.

Jeremiah 4: 31 I hear a cry as of a woman in labor,
a groan as of one bearing her first child—
the cry of Daughter Zion gasping for breath,
stretching out her hands and saying,
“Alas! I am fainting;
my life is given over to murderers.”

Revelation 5:I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.

Rosemary Tolle: God looked and He looked and found no one.

Jeremiah 5:1 “Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem,
look around and consider,
search through her squares.
If you can find but one person
who deals honestly and seeks the truth,
I will forgive this city.

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: I watched myself in that fit of frustration, bitter and close to tears.

Shira Schechter: The Torah indicates Joseph weeps upon seeing his father, but Jacob does not. Why do you think that might be?

Rabbi David Sterne: When Jacob learned that his son Joseph was still alive, he wished to see him personally, because by doing so he could impart his own wisdom and G‑dly connection to Joseph. Then, Joseph would be able to carry on in the tradition he had begun to receive when his life was tragically detailed by his sale into slavery. That is why it was so important to Jacob to see his son before he passed away. At the end of life, when we stand on the brink of passing away from this world, we are on our highest spiritual level. We are, therefore, in the best position to give something of our spiritual self to others. That is why both Jacob and Moses wanted to perform this last act of “seeing” just before their own departure from this world. Each wanted to pass his own spiritual level on to his respective receptacle.

Anna Blake: Riding looks as easy as sliding

a boot into a stirrup and throwing

a leg over the horse’s back. As

simple as kick ’em and they go.

The horse is a creature of habit

and tolerance. It’s ride enough.

But if the human rattle and bang

of expectation will go quiet, there

is a flash, in the space of time

between a foot letting lose of the

earth and a seat settling in the

saddle, joining spines with a horse.

In a vulnerable second, you might

glimpse an ageless intellect, have

an intuition that the inside of a horse

has a terrain of its own. Pause there

at the edge. Understand sovereignty.

A horse is beyond our control in this

physical world but there is a quiet place

where entrance is gained by invitation.

No need to call out, he knows you’re there.

Clean yourself up, tidy those emotions.

When you’re ready, he’ll bring you inside.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: This is the essence of Joseph’s wisdom: You must never detach the years of plenty from the years of famine. When you experience plenty, do not let it blind your vision and desensitize you from what is truly important in life. The priorities you cultivate during your “good times” should be of the kind that will sustain you during your challenging times as well.[9] If you are investing your time and energy in things that will prove futile when the climate of your life changes and will not hold you up when challenges come, you might want to re-examine your present choices. Why wait for the day you will have to say, “If I would have only realized…”

Revelation 16: And I heard the altar respond:

“Yes, Lord God Almighty,
true and just are your judgments.”

Asharon Baltazar: The guards marched out, and Reb Mordechai was again left alone with the judge. The latter faced Reb Mordechai and said in a trembling voice, “I too am a Jew, and I beg you to make sure that the future generations of our people will know to light the Chanukah candles.”

Leah D. Schade: How many women even now are filled with joy because they are serving as God-bearers in the world?

Asharon Baltazar: “Come close,” said the judge.

Anna Blake: Now shift perspective. Pretend it isn’t all about us. See it from your horse’s side.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: The Piano Needs the Pianist; the Pianist needs the Piano

Shmuel Rosner: The Power of Recognition

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Superheroes are just there to help. Your mission is to make real change.”

Leah D. Schade: “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38)

Asharon Baltazar: Reb Mordechai watched the judge light a small lamp. Picking up the incriminating documents gingerly, with trembling hands, the judge slid the first one off and held it to the flame. The paper caught fire and disappeared quickly in an orange blaze and a few wisps of smoke. As if he were afraid to delay lest he change his mind, the judge worked quickly through the pile, saying “You see? This is how you light Chanukah candles.” Soon there was nothing remaining of the pile.

Leah D. Schade: Mary magnifies God and shows us that God is at work, knitting together new ideas, conceiving new friendships.  Mary and God are co-conspirators, weaving threads of community, lifting up the lowly, feeding the hungry, saving the world.  Each woman, and indeed, each man and child, has this same capacity for magnifying the Lord.

Asharon Baltazar: Finished, the judge scooped up the scattered ashes, strode over to the window and tossed them into the Siberian wind. Sitting down, the judge reached for the buzzer on his table and summoned the guards.

Leah D. Schade: Women who conspire together to make peace amongst themselves, even while the world is waging war all around them.

Julie Price: Even relational church family dynamics will look different for many in this next season. There are hungry hearts gathering as family, even now. They are unified in their hunger and pursuit of Him. They know there is more, and God is going to trust them to steward His presence, power, and glory in fresh new ways in the coming year. Their hearts and priorities are in order personally and corporately, and as a result, they will transition from the edge of glory, into fresh new levels of glory; bringing with it life-changing revelations and encounters like we have never known!

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: When I looked back down, Hi was staring at a device sitting in his hands. He looked up at me, then back down at the display. He seemed to be measuring something.

Revelation 21: 15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick.

Rosemary Tolle: The Church and Crosstown Church repent. Though we are small, may we be used by You, Father.

Angela Greenig: Remember – John the Baptist ate wild honey and he ate locusts. He dressed, looked, and acted very differently from everyone else. I believe he was shunned by many because he seemed so religious or abnormal. But He was uniquely created by the Father. He was not part of the status quo, and neither are many of you. Stay true to the King, and do not comprise and follow many of those in the world you see, including some 5-fold ministries. For the past few years, a decline has sadly comprised and really watered down the Word of God. Some ministers will tell you it is acceptable to do this or that, which are a twisting of the words of God, and blatantly go against the truths of scripture. John the Baptist was given the mantel of Elijah. Elijah stood on the truths of God’s word and didn’t compromise; nor did John.

John 1:26 John answered them, “I baptize with water. Among you stands One whom you do not know,

Pastor John Tolle: We declare today that we hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches!

Jennifer LeClaire: What a declaration!

John 1:27 the One who is coming after me; I am not worthy to untie the thong of His sandal.”

Moshe Kravitz: Thinking about this truth evokes within us an intense desire to actually experience it. How can we accomplish this? Through learning Torah, the embodiment of G‑d’s wisdom and will in this physical world, and through fulfilling the mitzvahs, G‑d’s inner will (especially when we do so with joy).

John Ritter: Shepherd’s Pipe Carol []

Tyler Medina (11 Dec 17): God then spoke to me concerning Joshua 3:17. We see in this passage the priests carrying the ark of the covenant from the banks to the middle of the Jordan onto dry ground. It was the signal to the Israelites to advance. The priest remained there upholding the ark of the covenant until all of Israel passed by on dry ground.

Holly Watson: “Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit!” (Hebrews 12:1 MSG)

Isaiah 61:3 to provide for those who mourn in Zion– to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, to display [!] his glory.

Angela Greenig: I believe that the battle in the natural is coming to an end. I saw cherubim take to flight and cover the skies as they attacked the second heaven. I keep hearing the Father say, “Tell the saints to keep praying, as I hear your prayers. The East wind has begun to blow. I’m raising up John the Baptism from the four corners of the earth; men and women mandated to be forerunners for the coming of the King.”

Vince Viozzi: This will continue to allow the light to reveal the secret things going on behind the scenes and will send a wave of the fear of God throughout this industry. This will clear a path to draw out the closet Christians, and a new empowerment of strength to be God’s witnesses, will be released in the form of Holy Spirit baptism!

Tyler Medina (11 Dec 17): The body of Christ is reaching a turning point. We’re at a defining moment for the church where God is bringing refinement and reformation. I see in the spirit a monumental shift taking place this week that will last till mid to late January. Many of you will be commissioned to cross over your Jordan. I see many of you experiencing an upgrade. Words that have laid dormant for years are now being activated over you. You are stepping into new realms and new dimensions.

John 1:28 This took place in Bethany across the Jordan where John was baptizing.

Pastor John Tolle (17 Dec 17): You remember the twelve spies? In the sermon only a teenager came back and thanked me for telling him to obey his parents, so that he’d live long. I didn’t actually say that in this sermon.

God: What he needed to hear I gave to him.

Matthew Laney: Prayer
“Clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with cries of joy!” (Psalm 47:1)

Rabbi Tzvi Freeman: “Hold on, Josh,” he said. “You’ll need to come back here. They’ve agreed to let you see the world the way we see it from above. The real world.”

“On that little display of yours?” I asked.

Hi smiled that big, beautiful smile again. “No,” he said. “For real.”

Brat: O, God, make it so!

The Prayer Card 12 Dec 17

First Day of Chanukah: Tuesday, December 12, 2017

[9 pages]

Brat (in “Ablaze” 5 Dec 17): …For the record, I remember they actually cut my face out of the group picture to make it seem like I hadn’t really been there. By snapshot they symbolically cut me out of community, but they couldn’t cut out the fellowship in me. They tried to alter my destiny. I understand that “boys will be boys” and they were behaving like junior high adolescents. I forgave them. I worship God anyway. Wouldn’t you?

Pastor John Tolle: God wants us to move like Mary, “Do with me as You see fit.” This requires us to talk to God. Know when to bless and not curse, when not to speak and throw pearls before swine. The Word is living and active. We’ve formatted Christianity. What we learn and say. What does it — is fellowship with God. She (Mary) wasn’t at mass or a street corner. She was living fellowship with God. It’s an active relationship. Forms don’t give life. You can’t have forms, traditions, and rituals alone, but fellowship with God does. It’s a form of godliness but denying its power.

2 Timothy 3:having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky (in “Ablaze” 5 Dec 17): This seems self-contradictory. If G‑d told him “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, so that he who reads it may run [through it]”, meaning, so that whoever reads it will understand it immediately, it is obvious that he will write it plainly and clearly. But then, after [G‑d] tells him what to write, He says that the matter is cryptic, and that “the vision is still for an appointed time, and it speaks concerning the end, and does not lie; though it seems slow, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not come late”, without saying when. This statement adds nothing to what we have been believing for all generations, i.e. that even if [the Mashiach] tarries, we still await him, for “he will surely come”.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Thus, whenever the term “vision” is used, it refers to an allegory.

Dr. Theresa Phillips: “Then the LORD replied: ‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.'” (Habakkuk 2:2)

Brat (to Tyler Medina, 11 Dec 17): The Church’s response yesterday (10 Dec 17) was rather noncommittal, although she definitely heard me, and the congregation got an anointing from the high priest.

Faith Marie Baczko: Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.” Luke 10:21 –24

Brat: I sent Theresa Phillips “Naked Timeline” on 24 May 2014. I know she read it because she fed it through the pipeline. The Arc Speak with the Funny Bunnies amplified ten-fold after that, but the silence with me remained locked and bolted. Our story was forced to go underground.

Dr. Theresa Phillips: Yes, a miracle is for you, but remember Matthew 13:58, “And He did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.”

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev pointed out that we say the blessing “Blessed are You…who made miracles…” only on the festivals of Chanukah and Purim; on Passover this blessing is not recited. He explained that one reason for this difference is that there are two kinds of miracles. There are miracles that transcend the laws of nature, such as the Ten Plagues and the Splitting of the Reed Sea, and there are also miracles that occur within nature.

Brat (to Tyler Medina, 11 Dec 17): I’m praying for the present-day Maccabees to come and break into our temple. I sincerely believe we need the Jewish voice to make the sixth point on the five-fold ministry star. How else would the magi get home by a different route?

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: For example, on Chanukah, when Judith, the High Priest’s daughter, enticed the enemy general, Holofernes, and served him dairy dishes. He got very thirsty, she gave him lots of wine, he slept, and she beheaded him, destroying the morale of his troops and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. This was an amazing miracle, yet it was made up of events that all occurred within the matrix of natural phenomena.

Faith Marie Baczko: The fame of Israel and the fame of their God went on ahead of them to the land they were about to possess.  Great fear fell on the people of the land, and all the enemies of God when they heard that the armies of God were MARCHING FEARLESSLY and headed their way!  Rahaba very wise woman recognized that she was on the losing side and made the choice to take her stand on the side of God:

Dr. Theresa Phillips: Let this article ignite your faith and LOOK for what GOD is doing in your midst.

Brat (12 Dec 17): Last night when I got home from work there was a prayer card in a clear plastic pouch at my place at the dinner table. It was an icon picture of Saint Anthony holding a baby. On the back of the card it said:

O HOLY SAINT ANTHONY, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures made you worthy when on earth to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me…(Here mention your request.)

Brat (in “Cowgirl” 8 Nov 17): In “Where?” there were three different points addressing the same question:

  1. Where – to share? (ie, Who is interested?)
  2. Where – to pray? (ie, I’m still asking for a prayer closet after ten years!)
  3. Where – is my tribe?

Prayer card continued: The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving Saint Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen.

Dr. Theresa Phillips: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31 NKJV)

Pastor John Tolle: We are fearful of rejection. We’ve been accepted in the Beloved. If they reject me they reject Him.

Israel 365: Ancient Biblical Life Revived ✡ “Set Up A Signal At Bet HaKarem”

Brat: Well, I can say that I was looking and keeping my eye out for a miracle, but I didn’t expect a prayer card on the Patron Saint of Miracles to show up at my place at the dinner table! That caught my attention! It will definitely take a miracle to get me to my tribe!

Ryan LeStrange: My Monday Word for You…A Secret to the Miraculous

Dr. Theresa Phillips: Today, I say to you: Write down your miracles and send them to me. I want to hear about your Christmas Miracle!

Brat: [Spock eyebrow.] Remember the pearls…

Kaji Douša: The season of Advent invites us to remember this, to draw on God’s mercy, to . . . remember. That we can only go but so far. For the rest of it, our souls pant for what only God can do.

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: This, then, is why on Chanukah we say the blessing “Who made miracles for our ancestors in those days, in this time” – for then the miracle happened within natural time. On Pesach, though, the miracles were made directly by G‑d, outside of space and time, and for that reason we don’t make this blessing, for the miracle was above nature.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Exile was preceded by dreams because the reality of exile is analogous to that of a dream. Dreams consist of incoherent illusions where conflicting and contradictory elements can coexist. Similarly, our lives in exile are a confusing blend of seemingly hypocritical forms of behavior, combining spiritual transcendence and animalistic selfishness almost simultaneously. We pray to G‑d with absolute devotion, and yet, in a matter of minutes, we find ourselves acting in ways that contradict G‑d’s directives. Our actions do not match our words and our words do not match our thoughts. Much like a dream, our lives are often an inconsistent and confusing combination of right and wrong. (See Torah Or 28c)

Rick Joyner: I can be guilty of these flaws as well, and therefore, I greatly appreciate feedback on these studies. I have confidence in anything I write, but on this subject I don’t think there is enough illumination yet for anyone to be dogmatic. I know I am writing to a mature audience, and for this reason I trust you to weigh carefully and prayerfully consider the things with which you are challenged.

Pastor John Tolle: Our response is to leave God at bay, because we don’t want rejection. The Gift of the Lord of eternal life is wonderful, but He’s come to accept you when you feel rejected.

John 1:25 They asked him, “Why then are you baptizing if you are neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”

Israel 365: Set up a signal at Bet HaKarem! For evil is appearing from the north, And great disaster. ~ Jeremiah 6:2 (The Israel Bible™)

Monk: In Daniel Silva’s book House of Spies, the characters substituted the word “oranges” for drugs when the topic came up. (It was QUITE humorous to read!) Maybe “oranges” could be our signal as to where to share? Just a thought…

Brat (in “Luck” 11 Dec 17): I am seriously wondering if this is not a major theme that God is bringing to the surface for our world to face head on right now this week. Last week it was Peggy who said it was “luck” that saved the Ranch [from burning in the firestorm]. I had felt sad for God, for I had bragged on Him to give Him the credit for the miracles He’d been working His butt off to perform, and it went unacknowledged. The god of luck got credit and God was ignored by the audience. I’d said, “I do not worship the god of luck.” Now last night it was the Nobel Prize winner saying that it was luck that had spared her life in Nagasaki. This morning Jo said, “We were staggeringly lucky.” I might be hyper-focusing because that is a sensitive spot, but it could also be sensitive for a reason, because God wants to take down the god of luck. Part of my job is to be sensitive to what is on God’s heart.

Faith Marie Baczko: When it became time for the children of Israel to enter and possess the Land promised to them, that was to become their inheritance, the Bible states “the Lord their God was with them,” and, “…the shout of a king was among them,” (Num. 23:21).  This King is Jesus!

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson (in “Ablaze” 5 Dec 17): “Identify, I beg you, these objects. Who is the owner of this seal, cord and staff?” the Jew asks G‑d. “It is to this man that I am pregnant!” Our loyalty and commitment remain eternally to the owner of the “seal” and “cord” of the Chanukah flames; our deepest intimacy is reserved to the owner of the “staff” of Jewish wandering.

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: And the name by which [the creature] is called in the Holy Tongue is a vessel for the life-force condensed into the letters of that name which has descended from the Ten Utterances recorded in the Torah, that have the power and vitality to create a being ex-nihilo and give it life forever. [Why does it have the power to do so?] For “the Torah and the Holy One, blessed be He, are one.” (Zohar I, 24a; II, 60a)

Mark 1:1 The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Faith Marie Baczko: “…So he said, “These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:14

Yehudah Glick: We are privileged to be living in a generation that is repeatedly witnessing the words of the prophets coming true.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Don’t Silence Your Children’s Questions; Judaism Thrives on Questions

John 1:19 This is the testimony given by John when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”

Journal (in “Mushroom Cloud” 11 Dec 17): I’ve been talking to God some more about this issue of “luck” vs “miracles.” Just as the flying embers caused the canyon to simultaneously combust into one huge mushroom cloud, I believe that the more people share their miracles, great and small, the more that God has the opportunity to use those “embers” to combust the truth of His Presence among us and the god of luck will lose its power. God’s face will become more clear, evident, and personal.

Faith Marie Baczko: The words anointed ones literally translated from the Hebrew mean SONS OF OIL.  This is a very significant chapter describing the completing phase of God’s work represented in the Headstone—sons of oil in union with ChristTHE HEADSTONE; prepared and released, FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! In verse 1 the angel awakens Zechariah out of a state of dullness “…as if he were asleep!” I believe God is about to release a great Awakening!  It is a time when the Holy Spirit steps out in a MOVEMENT OF GREAT POWER to take down the great mountains and obstacles in the path of His people as they shout and decree “GRACE, GRACE to it!” (Zech 4:6-9).

John 1:20 He confessed and did not deny it, but confessed, “I am not the Messiah.”

Journal: The issue of luck vs miracles is a dividing line in the soul. A person wrestling with his faith must decide which god/God he will serve. “Luck” is more politically correct. It is more accepted and comfortable. There is no glory to contend with. It requires no risk. Belief in miracles, however, is risky. It puts a personal face on God. It gives Him the glory.

John 1:21 And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” He answered, “No.”

Binyomin Adilman: Joseph chose to have pity on his brothers and to hold himself back from the thrill of triumph. The drive to be right, and to have one’s will prevail over another’s, was a trait that Joseph repressed and never let have its say. For that reason, at the critical moment, when the dreams were being fulfilled and the brothers were bowing down to Joseph, like the stars in the sky and the sheaves of grain in the field, he concealed his identity from them so as not to claim his victory and thereby greatly embarrass and disparage his brothers. That was something which Joseph wished to avoid at all cost. In the minds of the brothers, they were bowing down to some Egyptian minister.

John 1:22 Then they said to him, “Who are you? Let us have an answer for those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”

Journal (11 Dec 17): The god of luck has shaped whole cultures and societies, philosophies and religions. When people rise up to share their miracles from God, then this will confront their gods. This clash would not only shape the Christmas story, but also our current Maccabean journey to confront our Hellenistic culture, which has torn down our spiritual temple.

Ambassador (ret.) Yoram Ettinger: George Washington became acquainted with the spirit of the Maccabees, upon settling, in December (Chanukah) 1777, at his new headquarters at Valley Forge, Penn., with ill-equipped, weary troops. Faced with a superpower, George III of Britain, Washington concluded that only a dramatic change could avoid a defeat. According to the diary entries of Louisa Hart, Washington told the Harts about a Jewish solider at Valley Forge who lit a Chanukah candle and explained its significance. Washington’s reaction was: “Perhaps we are not as lost as our enemies would have us believe. I rejoice in the Maccabees’ success, though it is long past … It pleases me to think that miracles still happen.”

Sheri Rose Shepherd: Relational Battles – “Good Morning My Princess”

John 1:24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.

Kaji Douša: Consider a major challenge in your life. Are you feeling stuck? Have you even dared to “pant” for God’s help? Truth is, when we ask for God’s help, sometimes we are calling on something that may be inconvenient, that would take us in a direction we do not want to go. Pant for God and be prepared to go somewhere you never would have charted.

Brat: I look forward to seeing how you will help in this endeavor. So far your tribe has made it pretty damned inconvenient (to the point of crushing) on this journey. But I forgive you. We have a mission and a job to do.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: This threefold process of crushing yourself, bonding with others and at the same time retaining your distinctiveness – should ultimately cause you to rise—just like oil—to the top, and “float” head and shoulders above all which is around you. Realizing that you are a “Piece of the Divine,”[2] and that at every moment you are an ambassador of G-d to our world, allows you to experience yourself as invincible, wholesome and way above the gravel that you may encounter in yourself or others. This comes not from arrogance but from realizing that your core is part of the infinite. Just like oil, you, too, rise to the top.

Janet Chambers: I heard God saying: “I’ve poured out new wine, and you have experienced the new wine, but what I’m about to pour out is champagne.” In a vision, I saw the Lord with a huge bottle of spiritual champagne, and He’s shaking and shaking it and any minute now that cork is going to pop!

Rabbi YY Jacobson: The Talmud states,[3] “The messenger of a person is just like sender.” If G-d chose you and sent you on a mission to this world, you are G-dlike! If you can only identify that space within yourself, nobody can compare to you.

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: One year, on the first night of Chanukah, just before the time to light the flame, the Rebbe was standing before the menorah, involved in his last-moment inner preparations. The crowd of chasidim pressed around him. Unexpectedly, the Rebbe turned to a certain chasid and said, “I know that your wife is quite short. When you need to speak to her, what do you do? Do you bend over towards her or does she raise herself up to your height?”

Pastor Kevin Lewis: Luke 2: 15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

Pastor Steve Dittmar: Secret Place – Quiet Enough To Hear

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Two cowboys come upon an Indian lying on his stomach with his ear to the ground. One of the cowboys stops and says to the other, “You see that Indian?” “Yeah,” says the other cowboy. “Look,” says the first one, “he’s listening to the ground. He can hear things for miles in any direction.” Just then the Indian looks up. “Covered wagon,” he says, “about two miles away. Have two horses, one brown, one white. Man, woman, child, and household articles in wagon.” “Incredible!” says the cowboy to his friend. “This Indian knows how far away they are, how many horses, what color they are, who is in the wagon, and what is in the wagon. Amazing!” The Indian looks up and says, “Ran over me about a half-hour ago.”

Brat [hands on hips]: How can I explain this, rabbi? The angels don’t stick around. The shepherds are supposed to take the message and run with it.

Kaji Douša: Your faith tells you that this uncharted territory is not only ordained by God, but infinitely magnificent.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Beauty Over Substance?

Binyomin Adilman: This is why, says the Kedushat Levi, Joseph didn’t send a message to his father revealing that he was alive. Certainly the news would have reached the ears of the brothers, and their embarrassment before their father would have been tremendous when he learned the truth about what had happened and how his sons had conspired to deceive him and protect themselves. They would then have to return to Egypt with Benjamin or with Jacob, their faces to the ground in embarrassment and disgrace, knowing that Joseph’s dreams were finally being fulfilled. Joseph preferred to remain anonymous, thus protecting the feelings of his brothers.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Two Perspectives

Chanukah Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:20 am             Journal: Parked at my first solitude spot. I asked Dad if he knew the story behind how the prayer card of St Anthony ended up by my place at the table. He said that on Sunday afternoon he and Peggy went to the Skyways Playhouse and saw the performance of “Nuncrackers.” They broke with their own personal protocol and sat in the very front row of the theater. (It’s first-come-first-serve, choose-your-own-seating.) During the play the nuns in the show tossed Dad a coin token. In the intermission he redeemed it and the theater manager gave him the prayer card. Dad, in turn, gave it to me.

Faith Marie Baczko: Zerubbabel means: one who has left Babylon, and represents Israel coming into a new place; released to work and complete the House of God as the ones who laid the foundation! (verse 9).  They work with all the people of God who have left spiritual Babylon in this hour, to complete the works of God!  For about 10 years also, God has been highlighting to me …

Kaji Douša: Where is God hoping you will go? Allow this Advent to be the time to usher you in that direction.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: What is superior—essence or projection? A subtle change of order in Pharaoh’s dreams teaches us about the timeless tension between two phases in Joseph’s life, and between the Greeks and the Jews

Journal (12 Dec 17): Dad’s story greatly encouraged my faith! This wasn’t “luck”! This was God (again!) busting His butt to show me that He was trying to work out a miracle on His behalf. This wasn’t the cyber “Cloud of Witnesses” trying to manipulate the story to their advantage, but the real Cloud of Witnesses cheering me on. I’m still praying for the real miracle breakthrough, though, and not just signs that leave me wondering. I’ve got the pearls. Where to share?

Faith Marie Baczko: …Haggai 2:18-19:‘Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid—consider it:  Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you.’ “

Chanukah Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 2:39 pm             Journal: Parked back at my solitude spot. The sun had been bearing down here. I had taken a nap and suddenly woke up. I checked the time, looked at my empty five-gallon jug, thought of my empty water crock on the counter at home, and figured it would be best to go get water before the mad scramble of kids getting out of school commences.

I drove to the nearest water vending machine at CVS (the one I vowed I wouldn’t go back to because they overtaxed their filter the last time I filled up there and ended up spending $1.75 on Camarillo tap water. Ugh!) But I went back there anyway on a prayer that they’d replaced the filter by now. Then I went to Vons and got a bag of apples.

When I got back to my car a mom parked next to me was wrestling her two toddler boys into their car seats. She apologized for being in my way. She said they were testing her. I said that my wait wasn’t a problem and then said a prayer for the mom. I looked at one of the boys in the backseat while the mom wrangled the other one. The kid gave me an impish and mischievous smile. I said another prayer for the young mom. She was having a challenging day.

I sat for a second in my car and looked up. The space in front of me, which had been occupied by a monster pick-up truck, was now vacated. In its wake there remained a solitary grocery bag on the pavement. I noticed an orange color in the bag. By now the young mom had left, so I got out of my car to go and investigate. I walked over to the bag and picked it up. It was heavy with squished oranges and orange juice dripped from the bag’s ripped seams. I escorted the mangled fruit to the sidewalk trashcan, went back to my car and drove back here. In that short amount of time that I was gone, shade from the building now covered the spot.

Ambassador (ret.) Yoram Ettinger: The descendants of the Maccabees are not “occupiers” in the cradle of their own history. Chanukah is not a holiday of “occupation,” but a holiday of deliverance. Chanukah is a holiday which highlights the moral high ground of Jews in their ancestral homeland.

Journal (12 Dec 17): In a flash of insight I heard God laugh! I’ve been editing and proofreading “The Prayer Card.” In there I mentioned Daniel Silva’s House of Spies and how the criminals (and the spies who are trying to catch them) substitute the word “oranges” for “drugs.” I didn’t catch the joke until God laughed. It would seem that God is taking the proverbial monster truck and mowing right over what’s left behind. Deliverance, not occupation.

Pastor John Tolle: Those were the same conditions as now. Will you deliver?

Pastor Steve Dittmar: When God appears and speaks: He allays our fears, explains away our concerns, and gives us confidence to act.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Why Celebrate Oil?

Brat: The oil of laughter? Time spent with God?

Yehudah Glick: I want to take this opportunity to celebrate the decision by US President Donald Trump to confirm Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. No doubt, many leaders around the world remain at odds with President Trump’s decision to be a part of prophecy fulfilled and formally affirm Jewish control of all Jerusalem. Now, other leaders have a similar choice: either to be a part of the Godly historical events that are happening right now or stay behind.

Bonnie Jones: It’s time for all of us to arise and let the Lord’s light shine through us into a dark world. It’s time to run our race keeping our focus on Jesus and knowing the great cloud of witnesses are surrounding and cheering us on. Their promises are incomplete without us; like Bob’s promise of a billion-soul harvest can’t be complete until we do our part.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: This was the deeper mystical significance of a miracle that caused oil to increase. And it is why we celebrate with focusing on oil, for this story captures the rhythm of life. For me to become a glowing menorah, casting light in me and around me, and lighting up the world, I must be oil-like: First, I must discover the art of humility and integrity; second, I must allow myself to show up in my relationships genuinely and wholesomely; third, I must retain my distinctiveness and individuality; fourth, I must always recognize that part in me which is always “on the top.”

Binyomin Adilman: The winner doesn’t necessarily come out on top

Kaji Douša: Prayer
O Come, Holy One, come even when I forget that I need you. My soul pants for you with a thirst that only you can quench.

Rabbi YY Jacobson: Judaism, particularly its festival of Chanukah, comes to teach ordinary human beings how to become oil-like. If we wish to ignite a fire in our lives, we ought to take a good and deep look at the olive oil in our Menorahs.

Ryan Johnson: “A Vision of the Spirit of Offense”

Brat: Huh? What the fox is Steve Shultz doing? Why is he sharing this? This is the opposite of “Ablaze” and the message of reconciliation. God? What are they doing?

“Ablaze” []

Anna Blake: When you do hit a training block, don’t fight. Shrug. Exhale. Ride around it and approach it in a different way. Railbirds are notoriously short-sighted, so work for your horse instead. Riding isn’t war; it’s an art. You and your horse are building a masterpiece.

Dave Willis: I recently sat down with a young couple who is going through a very serious struggle in their marriage because of someone outside their marriage. You might assume I’m talking about a mistress or an emotional affair, but this has nothing to do with wrongdoing on the part of either spouse. Their struggle has to do with an overbearing parent.

Brat: Boy, do we know THAT one! A real General McCarthy type.

Anna Blake: The problem with young horses who are over-achievers is that we humans take this period of youthful grace as who they are. We get attached to brilliance and label it their base level work. On a day when he loses confidence, a day when that young horse goes more like a normal, slightly resistant horse, we think they are guilty of a list of failings and we start the fight. Our change is imperceptible at first. Our dream of them is bruised so we lose just a bit of faith.

Rabbi Noson Gurary: The Greek’s goal was to attack the Jewish thought process by contaminating their intellect and ultimately causing the Jews to think like them. The contaminated intellect of the Greeks for the most part prevailed; indeed they succeeded in “defining the oil” in that many Jews became Hellenists, assimilating into Greek culture.

Anna Blake: It isn’t that I can’t see the potential; that my heart doesn’t catch in my throat at that fresh brilliance. The beauty of a young sound body, a quick mind, and that total possibility. I know what it feels like to train a horse who catches on fast and offers more than you ask. A horse who seems to not want to stop; who’s curious and willing. A horse who really tries to please, so you get caught up in the thrill of progressing quickly. You’re sure he’s a prodigy, that he will be the exception to every rule.

Rabbi Noson Gurary: Although the Greeks defiled all the utensils in the Holy Temple, the liturgy only mentions that “when the Greeks entered into the Holy Temple, they defiled all the oils of the Temple”. This confirms that the Greeks put special emphasis on defiling the oil. It is also significant that the Greeks defiled the oil, rather than disposing of it. The key concept here is what oil symbolizes. Oil is compared to intellect; just as oil always rises to the top when mixed with another liquid, intellect is unique in that it can be objective by removing itself from emotions and rising above them. Emotions and the feeling of self are inseparable. Only intellect can rise above emotion and achieve an understanding which can even be contrary to what emotions believe. The intellect, ultimately, is able to change and control the emotions.

Verse of the Day (10 Dec 17): The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. ~Deuteronomy 18:15 (NIV)

Anna Blake: Maybe some harsher aids will get his brilliance back.

NO! If that previous sentence doesn’t make your teeth scream, you’re doing it wrong. Not sorry for my bluntness. I’ve been around horses enough that when I see that broken horse, it’s easy to imagine who he once was. The flip-side is that it’s also easy to see the perfect youngster, possibly broken by eight or ten.

Dave Willis: The husband’s mom (and the wife’s mother-in-law) has bombarded the young couple with pressures, demands, emotional pleas, tantrums, threats, bullying, name-calling and a myriad of other unpleasant tactics to get her way and to manipulate the dynamics within the family’s relationships. She seems to see their marriage as a threat to the relationship and influence she once had with her son. She seems to view her daughter-in-law as competition for her son’s attention rather than a beloved new addition to the family.

Rabbi Noson Gurary: Nevertheless, the Jew possesses something far deeper than intellect and totally beyond it, the essence of his soul, known as the “  Yechida“. This is symbolized by the intact jar of pure olive oil sealed by the High Priest. On the level of Yechida, a Jew is always united with the essence of the Infinite G-d, and nothing can interfere with this connection. When the Hasmoneans realized that the Greeks were seeking to destroy their attachment to G-d, they awakened this part of their soul and exhibited self-sacrifice to preserve the essence of their religion.

Anna Blake: But young horses start to question training at a certain point. It’s normal, not a betrayal or a rebellion. You should see it as a sign of intelligence. The question we ask isn’t if our horse will hit a bad stretch in work, but what will I do when he inevitably does?

Doug Addison: These wounded warriors will play a strong role in this next move of God. I saw many of them lying on the Kingdom battlefield with no one to attend to them. Then the Wind of Change blew life into them and they were strengthened and began to rise up with new vision.

Anna Blake: The traditional answer has always been discipline. “Push him through it. Don’t let him quit.” The reason I’m so against this way of training is the number of horses who flunk out, damaged and frightened. Certainly not all horses but too many.

Dave Willis: This young couple seemed exhausted by their dealings with what seems to be a narcissistic and emotionally unstable person. They want to honor and respect her. They want their young daughter to have a relationship with her grandmother. They want peace and no drama, but they also don’t want to be a doormat to her unhealthy demands. Sadly, their struggle is a very common one.

Anna Blake: Standing next to them, it’s easy to imagine them younger. Looking at his eye now, you know he wasn’t born this way. That there was a time when he reached out as much as he is tucked inside now. That he was the kind who once gave his body and his heart but has lost the trust to let you stand at his flank. Looking at his stiff body, you can still get a sense of how brilliant his trot used to be. His poll tenses nervously if a human is within ten feet. You don’t have to be a professional to see that his face has been ridden hard. His face, that once reached out with curiosity and courage.

David Slavin: Kabbalah teaches that the servants of the angels of death and judgment retrieve dead souls.

Anna Blake: Understandable that we might push harder than we intended. It doesn’t make us bad riders, just human ones. Forgive yourself. And forgive horses for not living long enough.

Dawn Hill: I encourage you to not allow the devil to turn you into a battlefield when you were made to be God’s garden. Your life is not his (the enemy’s) story. You have eaten from the Tree of Life, Jesus Christ. Do not permit the snake to write chapters in your life. You have two options in moments when the snake hisses imaginations and lofty opinions in the garden. You can make it his story, or you can keep it as history, and go on from faith to faith and glory to glory with Christ.

Brat: “We’re sorry. Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Check the number and try again later.” Too many sixes? At this point in the story we can’t tell the difference between friends and enemies. I’m a lovesick scribe, too!

Doug Addison: As the Wind of Change begins to blow, it will revive many people who have been wounded by negative Christians and church experiences. Many wounded warriors have been taken out of action in the Kingdom of God by “friendly fire” or attacks from other Christians.

Anna Blake: And it isn’t just young horses. You might be re-training a rescue horse or even just beginning with a new-to-you horse. Progress can start fast and feel great at first. There will be bumps; he will regress. How will we deal with that?

Rabbi Noson Gurary: On the jar was written “with the seal of the High Priest”, even though in order to be pure it is sufficient to have the seal of someone who is expert in the laws of ritual purity. The concept of it being sealed with the seal of the High Priest can be understood according to what the High Priest represents spiritually, as indicated by a scriptural verse referring to Aaron the High Priest as “holy of holies” (Chronicles I 23:13). Chasidic philosophy explains (Sefer Hasichot 5750, vol. 1 Vayeishev) that the High Priest represents the highest level of self-nullification to G-dliness reaching the level of self-sacrifice that transcends reason. It was this power which was aroused and enabled the Macabees to succeed.

2 Peter 3:12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set ablaze and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire?

Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 5:25 am             Journal: Jo texted last night and said that she had to evacuate the horses due to fire. I just checked my phone. She said she got Cass and Rogan to the Ventura Fairgrounds. They had to leave Enzo (and I guess Oliver?) behind. Enzo would not get into the trailer.

Now Jo, Bob, and Rob had to evacuate. They are staying at Darrel’s on Oceanaire in Oxnard.

The electricity went out last night and never came back on. I’m writing now by flashlight. Jo said all the electricity is out in Ventura, too.

These Santa Anna winds are the worst I’ve experienced in YEARS (maybe ever!) They didn’t even let up overnight. Over the last few years the winds subside overnight and pick up again at dawn. But not these devil winds. These are fierce, gale force, and angry.

Pastor Bruce Zachary: The Thomas Fire

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: “Wait as a widow…” [This image also applies to the Shechina], as it is written, “[Oh, how the populous city now dwells alone, the greatest amongst the nations] has become like a widow.” (Lamentations 1:1) [The Shechina] has to be like a widow during the exile.]

Brat: I have flu symptoms, achiness, heaviness on my chest, and I am coughing up phlegm. Jo thought it was symptoms from the winds. I don’t know. I pray for healing. Complete healing. For several nights now I have not slept well. And that’s not like me!

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: “Take her out and have her burned,” says Judah. The purpose of the Jew is to serve as the spiritual compass of human civilization, to bear witness to the truth of the One G‑d, the moral conscious of the world. When the Jew loses sight of the raison d’etre of his existence, when he believes that his salvation lies in the fact that he “was invited to the White House”, or that he was praised in an editorial of The New York Times, his existence is useless.

Ryan LeStrange: Warning Dreams. These contain critical prophetic warnings. This is a Shamar dimension of the prophetic anointing (to keep watch and to guard).

“And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi left for their own country by another way.” (Matthew 2:12)

Fr Dwight Longenecker: Praise for Mystery of the Magi

Lana Vawser: “Come back to the drawing board”

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: What does it mean to push away a thought with two hands?

Lana Vawser: “Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let His mindset become your motivation.” – (Philippians 2:3-5) – The Passion Translation

Brat: Lord? Please restore the electricity. Please heal our land. I just pulled out the lectionary readings for 2 Advent (for 10 Dec 17) and Isaiah says to speak tenderly to Jerusalem. I didn’t know about the First Lesson readings when I wrote a tender prayer on Sunday night asking Jesus for help from the rabbis to open the books. There was so much love, affection, and tenderness for the rabbis in my heart that I was almost weeping. It was unexplainable. Now I read Isaiah!

Isaiah 40:2 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that she has served her term, that her penalty is paid, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.

Yakov Rosenberg: Shalom from Jerusalem

Wednesday, December 6, 2017 Also this week in the news President Trump is standing behind his campaign promise to move the capital of Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Yakov Rosenberg: The song of holy love

Prime Minister Netanyahu: President Trump, thank you for today’s historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The Jewish people and the Jewish State will be forever grateful.

Brian Simmons: I Hear His Whisper…”Angels listen for your songs”

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: “Judah immediately recognized the articles, and he said, ‘She is right; it is from me that she conceived. She did it because I did not give her to my son Shelah.'” (Gen. 38:26) When G‑d observes the burning flames of the Chanukah menorah, He immediately recognizes that indeed, His people have never left Him. True, the Jew does fall prey at times to the dominating external forces of a materialistic and immoral world, yet this enslavement is skin deep. Probe the layers of his or her soul and you will discover an infinite wellspring of spirituality and love. If the Jew has, in fact, gone astray here and there, it is my fault…

Psalm 85:2 You forgave the iniquity of your people; you pardoned all their sin. Selah

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: It is written: “Forever, O G‑d, Your word stands firm in the heavens” (Psalms 119:89). The Baal Shem Tov, of blessed memory, has explained [this concept at length, and made it widely known that this means:] that “Your word” which you uttered, [viz.,] “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters…” (Gen. 1:6), these [very] words and letters [through which the heavens were created] stand firmly forever within the firmament of heaven and are forever clothed within all the heavens to give them life, as it is written, “And the word of our L-rd shall stand firm forever” (Isaiah 40:8), [and as it is likewise written,] “And His words live and stand firm forever…”. (Liturgy, Morning Prayers)

Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 6:24 am             Journal: Parked at my first solitude spot. The bottom half of Dwight Avenue and Ponderosa Road have electricity. That tells me that the dragon is doing his utmost to thwart my mission. I can see the glow in the sky from the flames devouring the hillsides where the horses are. Lord, please PUT OUT THE FIRES! Send rain! Protect us! Thank You for Your mercy and intervention! Also, please heal me. Even though I feel crappy, I wanna go to Jo and make sure they are okay. Protect them from this virus.

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: But when he considered that G‑d asks each one of us, “Where are you? Have you accomplished your mission – as a soul within a body – for which you were placed on earth?” this kept the Alter Rebbe from kalot hanefesh. For it impressed upon him that he must remain in this world and complete the purpose for which his soul had descended here below.

Ryan LeStrange: Daybreak Dreams. These are prophetic imprints as you awaken. These are vivid prophetic encounters with vital messages.

“The thin ears swallowed up the seven plump and full ears. Then Pharaoh awoke, and behold, it was a dream. Now in the morning his spirit was troubled, so he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.” (Genesis 41:7-8)

Brian Simmons: Your songs of praise awaken the worship of angels. Your songs of worship bring the cries of “Holy” into My ears. Give me the deepest place of your spirit and I will give you the deepest place of My love. Come within the chamber room of My delight and let Me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely as you worship Me. My angels come to your gatherings with My glorious presence because your love-songs bring them near. Sing, with all your heart, sing your love-songs, and the angels will join you in worship and adoration.

Brat: Bless the rabbis. Speak tenderly to Zion. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Hug them. Hold them in Your love. You’ve shown us the super moon. May we feel and know Your extravagant love. I rebuke the wind and the fires and speak peace and safety on our land. And theirs. We are connected. You love us, God.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Therefore, when G‑d told Habakkuk “Write the vision“, He was referring to an allegory, which is by nature a riddle.

Revelation 17:9 “This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.

Leah D. Schade: A theology of hospitality

Brian Simmons: Receive Me once again. Drink of Me and take Me in. Never say, “I have enough,” for I always have more to give to you. Like a cup receives the wine, receive My love as I pour it into your soul. The healing you long for will not come without the worship that I long for.

Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 7:05 am             Journal: Parked outside Darrel’s on Oceanaire. I’ve texted Jo. I see Bob’s car but not Jo’s car or Rob’s truck. I wonder if they are at the fairgrounds.

Leah D. Schade: And we’re wondering – what about us?

Brat: I pulled out the lectionary readings again and kept reading. I was amazed (again!)

2 Peter 3:8 But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: The Jew further points to the staff in his arm. In order to preserve his faith, he was forced time and time again – for 2000 years – to take the wandering staff in his arm, abandon his home, wealth and security, and seek out new territory where he could continue to live as a Jew.

Brat: In that prayer message on Sunday to the rabbis I’d said (without knowing this scripture would be in 2 Advent):

“Since History is His-story and after a thousand years God did open those books with Melanchton and Martin Luther now that the people could read in their own language, then that part of the prophecy was fulfilled.”

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: And so it is with all created things, in all the upper and lower worlds, and even this physical earth and the realm of the completely inanimate.

Brat: Father, I believe You. You ARE preparing the path and blazing the trail for righteousness to come in.

Mark 1:2 As it is written in the prophet Isaiah, “See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: The Alter Rebbe now concludes that this is true not only of the firmament, but of all created beings.

Chuck D Pierce: A Time to End and Start Right

Westley Roderick (in “Overcoming” 03 Dec 17): It is no doubt that over the last decade or so there has been an emphasis on the Apostolic and the Prophetic, and rightly so. If think back to roughly 10-12 years ago there was a major shift in the Body of Christ with major denominations no longer supporting or endorsing the office of the Apostle or Prophet when it came to the Five Fold Ministry. In a sense the legs of the Body were pulled right out from underneath them—the two elements or factors which God chose to build His church with [were] being denied legitimacy and identity.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, – Ephesians 2:19-20

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: Rabbi Shneur Zalman, the Alter Rebbe of Chabad, was arrested in his home in Liozna, White Russia, and brought to Petersburg on the night following Simchat Torah, in 5559 (1798). He was incarcerated in one of the secret cells of the Fortress of Petropavlovsk and charged with treason against the Russian Empire for allegedly sending money to the Sultan of Turkey (referring the funds he annually collected and sent for the poor of the Holy Land, which was under Turkish rule at the time).

Pastor John Tolle: We (Protestants and Catholics) have an individualistic problem. He’s beginning to teach us how to love other people. Are we willing to look out at other people to love them through Christ’s eyes?

Journal (26 Nov 17): After church I ran into Bonnie in the bathroom. We talked for a while and she said, “I love you,” as she was walking away. Those words took my breath away and I started to cry. Then I pulled myself together again and ran after her. I shared how much those words meant to me from her. I realized that I don’t have enough people in my life who say, “I love you.” My mom used to say it a lot, but she’s dead now. I just had to say thank you to Bonnie. Then she started to cry. “I love you” is not something that can be received (well) from a cold or manipulative heart. That just builds cynicism: “God loves you and so do I,” said Robert Schuler every week from the Crystal Cathedral.

Brat (in “Crystal Fortress” 30 Nov 2012 [!] to Chuck Pierce): Back on 22 August 2012, I had stood up and shared my blog site of weekly Reflections on the Scriptures with you. ( I continue to write and share the journey, as that is integral to my calling. However, as I “stand up” I realize that my head has hit the glass ceiling of the crystal fortress of the Church-as-Institution. She says and does NOTHING. Even now, today! This deadly silence is what makes today a Golgotha-type Friday. Only Resurrection has the power to break through this. Not only have I reached out to the Churches, but also to the “Sons of Issachar” and the prophets do the same: NOTHING. Courtesy, Mercy, and Hospitality seem to be just mules housed in a distant barn, neglected and forgotten.

Leah D. Schade: Because you are all in cahoots together.  All of you, individually and collectively, have power that women – individually and collectively – do not have.

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: The life-force may be so muted that it reaches a created being not even through a transposition of letters, but merely through their numerical equivalent.

Brat: Are you saying the number of the beast is not a beast?

Revelation 13:18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: They can receive the life-force only when it descends and is progressively diminished, degree by degree, by means of substitutions and transpositions of the letters, and by means of gematriot, their numerical values.

Charisma: Your Spiritual Sidekick in 2018

Lana Vawser: I encourage you today, to go back to the drawing board with Jesus. There are encounters awaiting you where the Lord will re-confirm, re-define and define the season that you are in and the new season that is being entered into. Stay true to what the Lord has called you to, even if it looks different to what you expected. Know that HIS definition of your season will lead you into a place of greater increase, rest, empowerment and joy.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The expression “and make it plain on tablets” simply means that [Habakkuk] should write it down [clearly], not that it should be understood, for it is so obscure that the reader will run [through it, not pondering its meaning, since its] meaning [is so obscure].

Brat: Thanks so much. We try, but look at what we have to work with.

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: [This transpires] until [the life-force] can be condensed and enclothed, and a particular creature can be brought forth from it.

Matthew Tan: There was a temptation to link up the biblical motif of the meek with the more contemporary alternative of the geek…then I realised after living in a number of places that many geeks are anything but meek. So that plan was quickly abandoned.

Brat: So, maybe ‘Technology’ really IS a leitmotif in our story and not just my personal bane. Revelation 13 “The Beast out of the Earth” is real!

Rick Joyner: Is it that simple? Yes. Deception often comes through complications resulting from speculations. If we truly worship the Lord, keeping Him first in our affections and devotion, we will not worship the things of this earth, the beast that comes up out of the earth, or anything else. If we have taken God’s mark, the devil will not be able to put his mark on us. If we have taken God’s mark then we know Him as our Source—we will not have to depend on “buying, selling, or trading” in the ways of this beast.

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: “Identify, I beg you, these objects. Who is the owner of this seal, cord and staff?” For during the festival of Chanukah – when the judgment of Rosh Hashanah is finalized – the Jew kindles each night a wick, or a cord, soaked in oil, commemorating the event of the Jews discovering a sealed single cruse of oil after the Greeks had plundered the holy Temple in Jerusalem.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: This verse follows the account of how Daniel witnessed frightening and incomprehensible allegories.

Prime Minister Netanyahu: “From Zion Shall Come Forth Technology”

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: This thought was expressed by the Arizal (Etz Chayim, Portal 50; ch. 2:10), [when he said] that even within [that which appears to be] utterly inanimate matter, such as stones or earth or water, there is a soul and spiritual life-force. That is, [i.e, although they evince no demonstrable form of animation, within them] are [nevertheless] enclothed the letters of speech from the Ten Utterances which give life and existence to inanimate matter, enabling it to come into being out of the naught and nothingness that preceded the Six Days of Creation.

2 Peter 3:13 But, in accordance with his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, WHERE RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AT HOME.

Brat: For decades (maybe millennia?) the Church has focused on the “new heavens and a new earth.” They’ve gone the escapist route and bypassed righteousness.

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: How can I expect that a Jew never commit a sin? How can I expect that a Jew never try to cast his luck with the materialistic world about him that seems so appealing, when I held back for so long the light of Mashiach? “It is I, G‑d, who is guilty of treason,” G‑d says. Not the Jew. Tamar is an innocent, beautiful palm-tree, which still has only one heart to its father in heaven.

Brian Simmons: The revival of awakened hearts comes through praise. There is a secret power released when you bring high praises to Me. The power that shut the mouths of lions was the power of praise through the faith-filled lips of My servant Daniel. You will see many breakthroughs and many enemies silenced as you bring your sacred praises to Me. Angels are waiting to hear your chorus of praise. Activate the power of heaven by the high praise of your lips. These are the sacrifices I desire. More than money or time or talents… I desire your praises. For in your praise the glory descends.

Mary Luti: And if we’re hoping to be squeaky pure in this expectant season; if we think there’s a right way to do Advent that will bring us to Christmas with bright shiny faces; if we’re striving to reach a spiritual place without defects, contradictions, and dead-ends, perhaps we haven’t yet begun to grasp the Mercy we’re waiting for, the One who reached eagerly for the compromised flesh we try to escape, entered the complicated world we try to smooth out, and loved them both to death, even death on a cross.

Pastor John Tolle (in “Overcoming” 03 Dec 17): You proclaim the Lord’s death ‘til He comes. (1 Cor 11:26)

I have overcome.

Scripture says we are overcomers. He’s helped us overcome our sinfulness, not just to go to heaven, but to help us with all the issues we are dealing with.

Who hasn’t lied? Who’s angry? Prideful? We have many problems.

I’m overcoming by remembering that He overcame. How are you overcoming today the things in your life? If you have nothing to overcome, then let me kill you, because we aren’t done until we die. That’s why I need the power of Jesus Christ. It’s the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. His power helps you overcome.

Revelation 6:11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

Lana Vawser: “My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of His cross crucified me with Him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives His life through me – we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who LOVES ME SO MUCH that He gave Himself for me, and dispenses His life into mine!” (The Passion Translation)

Pastor Steve Dittmar: When I was caught up to learn to live from heavenly places instead of from worldly situations, I discovered that Jesus had overcome all; and indeed was all in all. I experienced His glory as the firstborn of the dead, apostle and high priest of my confession, and found myself being re calibrated into His image in glory.

Ryan LeStrange: This will be a year of apostolic expression, apostolic authority, and apostolic sending. The Church is being recalibrated and moving away from the Western mindset into a new wineskin of supernatural bases, hubs and headquarters.

Elijah List: Secret Strategy (great news for 2018)

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: We also see this in the case of Habakkuk, who, according to some opinions, was the spark of the Mashiach in his generation. He said, “I will stand on my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And G‑d answered me, and said, ‘Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, so that he who reads it may run. For the vision is still for an appointed time, and it speaks concerning the end, and does not lie; though it seems slow [in coming], wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not come late.'” (Habakkuk 2:1-3)

[Recap: Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 8:37 pm             Rabbis? Can you hear me? The testimony is for the Churches. (Rev 22:16) Back two chapters, John of Patmos describes two books.

Revelation 20: 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

Brat: Since History is His-story and after a thousand years God did open those books with Melanchton and Martin Luther now that the people could read in their own language, then that part of the prophecy was fulfilled. Then another book is opened. I know the Zohar is the book of life. I also believe it is our life story, the Church’s and my story. It chronicles our life journey in this virtual community. In this Great Silence the books cannot be opened. They must be, otherwise God would not have put this in His Word. This is not about being angry with people in power. This is about fulfilling God’s desires. Please help me to get our story into the hands of the people who want our story.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: This seems self-contradictory.

Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi: The manner in which G‑d manifests His life force in the spiritual roots is mirrored in the physical items derived from them. As noted above, in Olam haTikun – the spiritual source of humankind – the G‑dliness is invested to a greater degree in certain elements within that realm, and to a lesser extent in other elements. In humans, too, we therefore find that our life force is apparent to different degrees within the body: the soul is primarily manifest in the intellectual faculty; to a somewhat lesser extent, in the emotions; and less so with respect to one’s capacity for action. (Intellect is associated with the Hebrew letter alef. Thus, the Hebrew word for “Mankind” is “adam, spelled with the letters alef, dalet and mem, since these three letters stand, respectively, for the Hebrew words for thought, speech (“dibbur, with begins with dalet) and action (“ma’aseh, beginning with mem).

Brat: I’d tied that into Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance.

Brat: Oh my gosh! I just saw the next verse! I had the radio on while driving here and KHAY said that the “Thomas Fire” [so named because it started behind Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula,] is out of control! According to the news it has burned 31,000 acres [now 150,000] and Wells Road is blocked off. (That’s the road that Jo uses to get to Aliso Canyon where the horses are boarded.) KHAY said that over 500 fire fighters are trying to attack this blaze, but because of the winds and the intensity of the fire, they can’t get to it.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and everything that is done on it will be disclosed.

Brat: Dear God! That’s exactly what I prayed! I’d asked the rabbis for help in opening the books. The second set of books, the book of life is opened. Be disclosed! And the armada of firefighter choppers and planes flying overhead make enough noise to wake the dead!

Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 7:34 pm             Journal: At Dad’s house. The air quality is so bad from the smoke and ash that the news told us to stay indoors and go out only if you have to.

I left Jo’s house and went to Pleasant Valley Park to pray. I needed to spend time with God. I needed to bless Him and love on Him. I couldn’t just go from Jo’s with uninterrupted news coverage for hours on end of Southern California burning up in flames (as we have three fires blazing from Ojai and Ventura to Carpenteria to Sylmar and Pasadena, [and now to San Diego].) And they’re expecting more fires. No, God! I rebuke that! The incessant images of flames burned into my mind. I needed alone time with God to soothe me. Even so, I couldn’t stay parked for more than an hour. The horrific air quality was unbearable even with putting a fleece jacket over my nose to filter the air.

But I jumped to the end of the day without filling in the rest.

It turns out that Jo and Bob were at Oceanaire, but not Robert. They got there at 5 am and I knocked on their door at 7:30 (?) They’d gotten only two hours of sleep. Robert couldn’t sleep. He went back to Aliso Ranch and managed to cross the fire line. He was sick with worry over Enzo and Oliver. He wouldn’t have been able to forgive himself if they’d burned in the fire.

Rob found them all okay. In all that falling ash and flying embers their coats weren’t even singed. God had sent angels to protect them.

Rob put the boys in Cass and Rogan’s pen and after a few hours of TLC drove home. He said he got little bits of naps, but no real sleep.

Jo and Bob packed up and drove home. I stopped at the Water Store to fill my five-gallon jug. The guy there said he heard they were now evacuating the fairgrounds.

I drove to Jo’s. She couldn’t find a straight answer. Rob (going on 30 hours of no sleep) said we should get the horses off the fairgrounds no matter what and bring them back to Aliso. If the fire did double-back there is nothing left to burn.

Besides, all of Casitas Springs was now being evacuated and being sent to the Ventura Fairgrounds. The fire department wouldn’t let the fairgrounds burn down.

Jo had left her car on Aliso Canyon Road.

Jo, Rob, and I went to Harbor Freight to buy a towing hitch and ball of the proper size. The one Rob had mounted on his truck had been stolen right off his back end. The replacement he’d put on before was too small. Miraculously, Jo had driven the two horses in that trailer from Aliso Ranch through the flames burning right down to the road, towing them in a trailer that could have been bumped off the truck with the slightest pothole, AND she did that Odyssey ALL BY HERSELF!

Again, they had angelic protection. Jo had made it safely through the flames and to the fairgrounds. Her teeth were chattering but she made it. A few hours later Bob managed to drive up beside her on the fairgrounds. (Again, amazing that they found each other considering all the chaos and confusion.)

That was last night.

Today, we drove from Harbor Freight back to the fairgrounds and Rob put on the new ball and hitch right there at the fairgrounds and hitched up the horse trailer. We got Rogan and Cass loaded up and drove to Aliso. There were some roadblock signs still up, but Rob drove around them. He dropped us off at her car and we caravanned in.

The carnage from the fire was apocalyptic. There were white spots where the fire was so hot that it scorched the earth. I asked Rob if the white was fire retardant. He said the fire department never came out.

(Again, angels and divine intervention clearly saved the ranch!! Yeah, God!)

The fire burned up to the citrus orchards and stopped. It burned up to the creek and jumped around some brush growing in the ravine, but it basically stopped at the anemic creek. It burned up to Imme’s house and stopped. It burned up to Enzo’s barn and stopped. The herd of cows must have known where the angels were protecting, because they gathered together on the slope above the barn and laid down. The fire didn’t touch that hill. None of the cattle were burned.

Peggy: They were lucky.

Monk prayer: [Gasp.] God, how sad for You. I testified to the multiple miracles that You performed and all she could say was “lucky”? I do not worship the god of luck.

Brat: All around Ventura the inferno ravaged where it could: a sixty-unit apartment complex was burned to the ground; multi-million-dollar homes on the hills with views of the ocean were burned to the ground.

It’s been a rough two days.

I’m convinced that this is prophetic. Sonoma up north got it first. Now we are getting it. God will “DISCLOSE His Righteousness”!

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: “Identify, I beg you, these objects.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: But come he must in every generation, either to redeem Israel if they are worthy, or to purify the generation, or to teach them the Torah if the generation is ignorant.

Brat: When Dad got home he told me that the power wasn’t restored here at the house until 4:30 pm. So, that means that the outage here lasted much longer than at Jo’s house. (I still think it was the dragon trying to block communication and thwart my mission. But he won’t. He can’t. I still got news of the miracles anyway.)

Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 4:58 am       Text message from Jo: Noreen lost her home [in the fires]; that beautiful house! God please take care of her. She texted sometime late yesterday. I am still exhausted but I washed my face in bottled water this morning.

[Explanation to the bottled water reference: Residents of Ventura got an emergency alert on their phones and over the News that because of the fires, various water sources were tainted. Some were gone. They advised residents to boil water before consuming. Imme had to stop using the garden hose to put out spot fires with Rob yesterday, because she kept losing water pressure. That’s when he started taking buckets of water from a nearby horse trough to douse a fire threatening the propane tank. (Another miracle!)]

Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 5:21 am                   My text back to Jo: O, dear God! Poor Noreen! God, show her Your miracles in the midst of tragedy.

George (one of the guys who boards his horse out at the Ranch) also lost his house.

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: During that fateful time, when the “prosecuting angels” have almost been successful in demonstrating to G‑d that the Jewish people are a failed experiment, at that very moment, the Jew sends word to G‑d, saying, “I am pregnant by the man who is the owner of these articles!” The information you received that I abandoned you is a blatant lie! If I have gone astray here and there, it is merely a superficial, temporary phase. Gaze into the deeper layers of my identity and you will discover that I belong to You, that my intimacy is shared only with You, G‑d. “I am pregnant from Judah and not from anybody else!” the Jew declares. The information you received that I abandoned you is a blatant lie!

Matt Fitzgerald: No wonder it is so easy to imagine a fiery apocalypse. But that’s not what we need. We need rats and cats to dance together, wolves and lambs to nap together, Isis and the secular west to laugh together, me and my gun nut evangelical cousin to love each other.

Pastor John Tolle (03 Dec 17): We say, “I love God. It’s the people I don’t like.” That’s conditional fellowship. What kind of fellowship do you have based on your fellowship bullet points? I’ve just devalued her. We have our litany to step away from somebody. It took the cross for me to be reunited with God. Isn’t it also true that I need the cross to like others? Each one of us have people we don’t like or love in our circle. Through the cross then I value them. This is what God’s trying to do with this generation. He’s trying to help me overcome to value their lives more.

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: The Hebrew term for “and the staff”, “v’hamateh“, has the same numerological value as the word “the vessel”, “hakeli“, symbolic of the menorah in which we kindle the Chanukah flames. Hence, this verse is alluding to the three components of the Chanukah lights: the menorah, the wick and the oil – all of which testify to the eternal allegiance of the Jew to G‑d.

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: These three explanations describe Joseph’s interaction with his personal exile. They also teach us how the Jewish people dealt with their life in Egypt, as well as how each of us reacts with our own environment in this current exile. We learn how to transform the exile until the exile itself helps us to reach our destination.

Brian Simmons: Soar into My glory with the wings of worship. Abandon your spirit to Me as a sail abandons itself to the wind. Let faith re-energize your affections toward Me. For did I not say that the love of many will grow cold? Be on fire with passion for Me and you will discover My plans for your life. Shake off your soul passivity and “lukewarm” faith, for I am a God of consuming flames.

Brat: Are you making more barbeque? Balaam got fat on those. Did he listen to his donkey?

Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi: Now, paradoxically, animals can be thought of as both inferior and superior to humanity. In the physical realm, people eat meat, and it gives them life and strength. In this sense, the people depend upon and are supported by the animal kingdom; that is, the animal elevates the human. On the other hand, in a more subtle sense, once a person has eaten something, that food is assimilated and literally converted into a part of the person’s body. Thus, if the person uses the energy he or she gained from the food – in this case, meat – for holy, spiritual pursuits (e.g. Torah study and performance of mitzvot, like prayer or acts of kindness), that meat (which previously had no link to such holiness) is itself elevated, along with the person, to a higher spiritual level. In this respect, the human elevates the animal.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Thus, whenever the term “vision” is used, it refers to an allegory.

[Arc to “Spiritually Hungry” 30 Nov 17:

Isaiah 64:8 Yet, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Anna Blake: For all our horse’s anxiety about pain and not showing it, and for all our anxiety about the same, start here. Stand away from your horse, take a breath, and watch with quiet eyes. These are calming signals that could also be signs of pain:

  • A tense poll, elevated head.
  • Ears back or one ear back and one forward.
  • Tight muscles around the eye.
  • Exposed white of the eye.
  • Intense stare or partially closed eyes.
  • Clenched lips or nostrils.

Yitzchok Wagshul: Now, animals are associated with strength, which reflects their spiritual source (represented by the lion and the ox), also associated with the attribute of strength (gevura). For this reason, meat is red, a color that symbolizes gevura, and its effect on a person (even after it has been elevated by the person’s spiritual intentions) is to increase their fervor and fiery, passionate dedication to G‑d – qualities that derive from the holy aspects of the attribute of gevura. Yet all this potency and strength is not without danger: the increased vitality could conceivably be usurped by unholy forces, causing the person to misdirect all that passion and zeal and fall into sin (G‑d forbid).

Berel Bell: The Zohar itself is written in the form of a commentary on the Bible. The stories of the Bible are not just stories, for within them are buried the secrets of the Universe. Through understanding their inner dimension, we tap into that Infinite Wisdom which G‑d has been waiting for us to discover. And we must thank the Creator for making these stories so unfathomable as to spur us on to keep digging until we find the “light” within.

1 Corinthians 1:4 I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that has been given you in Christ Jesus

Rafael Nachman Kahan (in “Spiritually Hungry” 30 Nov 17): A few days later, a young man, Avraham Eliyahu Gurary, son of Rabbi Shmuel Gurary, rabbi of the town of Chorol, came to visit the rebbe. He was recently married, and his bride’s wealthy parents had given him a dowry of ten thousand rubles. He went into business with the money, only to lose nearly all of it. As you might imagine, this downfall did not please his wife and in-laws, and his home life suffered accordingly. He didn’t know what to do.

Brat: I got accosted by the Holy Spirit and a similar thing happened to me. Go figure!

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: Is this not the story of so many of us? At one point during our lives we are inspired to transcend our selfish identity and connect to the deeper divine rhythm of life. Yet, the cunning lore of numerous other gods captivates our imaginations and ambitions and dulls our vision. We substituted the G‑d of truth and transcendence with the ego-god, the power-god, the money-god, the temptation-god, the addiction-god, the manipulation-god and the god of self-indulgence. What is even sadder for Judah is the news that Tamar is so estranged that she became pregnant by harlotry. This symbolizes the stage in life when the Jew rejects the G‑d of his forefathers permanently and decides to build his future with superficial sources of gratification.

Brat: We’re sorry. Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and try again later.

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: The official, however, was not satisfied by this solution, surprisingly saying, “I am aware of the basic rabbinical interpretations and the allegory offered by Rashi. I had hoped for a deeper answer. Don’t you have a more profound explanation?”

Westley Roderick: God is wanting to raise up those who will go and bring reconciliation to those who have yet to receive Christ.

Brat: I believe this has a deeper meaning to include pastors and priests, apostles and prophets who were quick to judge and set up their own “fellowship bullet points.” Why else would I be on the receiving end of ten years of the Great Silence in the Holy Void?

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The explanation, however is as follows. It is written in the book of Daniel: “Now I have come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days; for the vision is for days yet to come.” (Daniel 10:14)

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: The Torah is teaching us that we have inherited this particular power from Joseph. We should not become depressed from the harshness of the exile in which we live. Rather, we must remember that we have brought the Shechinah with us. Allow the Shechinah to surround you with Divinity. This is the strength through which we will merit to bring the final and lasting redemption, may it be now.

Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi: To be more specific: the former spiritual scheme of existence is known as Olam haTohu, the realm of chaos or void; the latter, Olam haTikun, the realm of repair or rectification. These are both spiritual realms of existence; however, the end result of this progression from higher degrees of spirituality to lower is this physical world. The entities of this world may be said to be physical manifestations of their counterparts in the spiritual realms, similar to the manner in which a physical object reflects the intention of its designer – which in turn was motivated by some inner feeling or need for expression, etc. Theoretically, one could trace the progression of some physical item back through successively more subtle levels of planning and motivation within its creator, until the ultimate “source” of that object is found to be virtually indistinguishable from the creator’s innermost self. In G‑d’s inscrutable wisdom, he saw fit to create the universe along similar lines, and, with respect to the vast progression between G‑d’s very “Self”, as it were, and this world, we may point to specific spiritual levels (themselves rooted in even higher levels, and so on) as the roots, or sources, of physical items. Thus, meat is said to stem from Olam haTohu, while humanity derives from Olam haTikun.

Leah D. Schade: Lewis urges a theology of hospitality that will enable the church to welcome women’s gifts and allow itself to change.  But that hospitality cannot be a one-sided transaction.  “It is not just about letting people in, but imagining how you must change as a result. It is anticipation that you will be changed in this encounter, in this relationship” (179).  In this way, She reveals one of the keys for the church to unlock its own power. We need to embrace the change that comes with ordaining women. Allow them full access to all leadership positions. Nurture and honor their gifts. Treat them with respect. Confront sexism and discrimination. And engage in a process of repentance and reconciliation.

Pastor Bruce Zachary: We are all aware of the fires impacting Ventura County. As individuals and as a local community of faith we are wondering how we can assist.

Ryan LeStrange: In Genesis 37:2-5, Joseph was seventeen when he shared his first dream. He began serving Pharaoh at the age of thirty. This was thirteen years of waiting and many storms in between. The dream was still true! It had timings attached to it. “Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him” (Psalm 105:19).

Brat (03 Dec 17): I know that Pastor John referred to Fr Mike Flynn as “General Flynn” today in a joking manner, and I also noticed that ‘generals’ are referred to in

Revelation 19: 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”

Brat: Maybe this is where we are at in the story. Maybe we are ready to fulfill this part of the scriptures. We DID gather today for communion in community, “the great supper of God.” In any case, I’m still asking for help in opening the books.

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: About that time, a deputy minister of the police was assigned to interrogate him. This high-ranking gentile official, who was a learned man and knowledgeable in the Scriptures, was very impressed by the prisoner, who was obviously was no ordinary rebel. Interrupting his list of official questions, he said to the Rebbe, “I have a question on the text of the Bible and would be pleased if you could give me a satisfactory answer.”

Brat: Pastor John Tolle also said that we live in a society that requires its “pound of flesh.”

Angie Stolba: It says in the Word that the Lord cuts off every branch that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful (John 15:2). I believe that 2018 is going to be a year of incredible freedom for those who have surrendered their all for the Lord. These people have allowed the Lord to have His way in their lives, as they’ve truly embraced the pruning process (even when it seemed painful to their flesh).

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: “If the Jew has, in fact, gone astray here and there, it is my fault,” G‑d says, not his. “…Because I did not give Tamar to my son Shelah.” Shelah is the Biblical term used to describe Mashiach. (see Gen. 49:12) G‑d says that for two millennia I have kept the Jewish nation in a dark and horrific exile where they have been subjected to horrendous pain and savage suffering. Blood, tears and death have been their tragic fate for twenty centuries, as they prayed, each day and every moment for world redemption. But redemption has not come.

Ryan LeStrange: Predictive Dreams. These are dreams that point to future events or a kairos moment. These hold instructions for something that is ahead. They are prophetic road-maps for what is coming. One of the common mistakes with these is assuming it is for right now.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The remainder of this excerpt describes how in the case of the prophet Habakkuk, we see also that G‑d said that the time must be ripe for the Redemption to occur. The vision is still for an appointed time, and it speaks concerning the end, and does not lie…

Pastor Steve Dittmar (05 Dec 17): Next, I found that all His promises ever made, all the words He has ever spoken, and all the visions I had seen, were here in His Presence behind the veil—alive and well. They were now my “Confession of Hope,” my intercession with Jesus, my High Priest.

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: “Ask whatever you like,” the Rebbe told him, “and, with G‑d’s help, I hope to be able to solve your problem.”

Ryan LeStrange: The authority of the Lord will move through us. The apostolic anointing will decree through us. The prophetic anointing will declare through us. The evangelistic anointing will demonstrate through us. The teaching anointing will explain through us. The pastoral anointing will shepherd through us. The travail anointing will pray through us. The helps anointing will serve through us. The government anointing will govern through us and the seven mountains of culture will be influenced by this apostolic generation.

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: “What is the meaning of the verse ‘G‑d called to Adam and said: Where are you?'” the official queried. “How is it possible that omniscient G‑d did not know where Adam was?”

Brat: Jesus, bless the rabbis and give them wisdom and direction. Help them to help us. Protect them and shine Your light upon them. Wrap them in Your loving arms and hold them to Your chest. Give them a kiss from me. I am grateful for them.

Lana Vawser: There will be no striving; no trying to make anything happen. As we lay low before Him, He will position, commission and release His people into different areas. They will be in new places and positions; carrying His fire and the Words of His heart. Their mouths will be full and carrying an unquenchable fire that will change atmospheres, cities and nations.

Journal (5 Dec 17): I didn’t have time yesterday to see what pieces Ascent was able to respond with in their Weekly Anthology. I was going to look that up today. But, with these devil winds and power being out, I have no way to know and look it up. What is their response? To me this is more of “The Beast out of the Earth” which is blocking and trying to interfere with communication. I must just “Let that Pony Run!” and trust in God’s protection. He will connect me.

Psalm 85:11 Faithfulness will spring up from the ground, and righteousness will look down from the sky.

Cindy Jacobs: God showed me a day when we will stand before God’s throne. What will we bring to Him? He is WORTHY to receive all power and riches of our nations. We bring more than ourselves. Bring our nations before His throne. Glorify His name. Bring souls before the King. Show me your glory!

Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: The Rebbe responded to him with a question of his own. “Do you believe that the Torah is forever relevant and true, in every generation and to every individual?”

“Yes, I sincerely believe that,” replied the deputy minister.

The Rebbe was very pleased to hear this affirmation of faith. If such a high-ranking official was a believer in the Torah, perhaps the trial would be less of an ordeal.

Revelation 3: 10 Since you have kept My command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: The third possibility is to bring the Shechinah with us. It is with the strength of the Shechinah that we transform the exile until the exile itself helps us to reach our destination. This is the highest level, because the exile is transformed into something positive. This was the achievement of Joseph. From one perspective, Joseph was torn from his nurturing, spiritually elevated environment, the protection and teachings of his father Jacob, and forced against his will to deal with the lowliness of Egypt. However, the Shechinah was with him, helping him to become Egypt’s leader and make the exile serve him and his family to achieve their goals.

Ryan LeStrange: Marching orders and deployment orders are coming through dreams and visions. Increased commissioning in dreams will be the norm as this is a high-level apostolic-prophetic leading. A commission is a formal written warrant granting the power to perform various acts or duties, a certificate conferring military rank and authority, an authorization or command to act in a prescribed manner, or to perform prescribed acts.

Brat: Tell the Church to honor the laws she already has on her own books.

Ryan LeStrange: Directional Dreams. These are dreams that contain the wisdom of God. They contain a word of wisdom and the “how to” instructions. God is giving supernatural instruction through dreams. Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge, and these dreams contain key pieces of vital information.

Kathi Pelton (in “Puzzled” 4 Dec 17): When dinner has been prepared and the family comes together once again there is little interaction beyond asking for someone to “pass the potatoes”. As dinner finishes everyone helps clean, but the only words exchanged are questions such as, “Can you take out the trash?” Then everyone goes back to doing their own thing in separate rooms and the cycle of being together but divided continues.

Vince Amlin: The air potato is an invasive vine that came to America in 1909. Sometime after that it ended up in my yard, and after seven years of fighting it, I’ve waved the white flag.

Rabbi Yosef Wineberg: Even immobile beings that show no signs of animation or spirituality, not even the degree of animation observed in the process of growth in the vegetative world – even this extremely low life-form constantly harbors within it the divine life-force that brought it into being.

Revelation 22:down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Brat: We live in a virtual commune.

House of Destiny (in “Spiritually Hungry” 30 Nov 17): Many high achievers have gone to their graves dissatisfied. There’s a cure for loneliness, depression and emptiness. It is called community. That’s right, community is not a bad word.

Sheri Rose Shepherd: The Bait of Anger – “Good Morning My Princess”

Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: After all, what was at stake if Joseph succumbed to this woman’s demands? Nobody was ever likely to find out what had occurred between the two. Joseph would not need to return home in the evening to face a dedicated spouse or a spiritual father, nor would he have to go back to a family or a community of moral standing. His family’s reputation would not be besmirched as a result of this act. He would remain alone after the event, just as he was alone before it. So what’s the big deal to engage in a snapshot relationship?

Brat: For the record, I remember they actually cut my face out of the group picture to make it seem like I hadn’t really been there. By snapshot they symbolically cut me out of community, but they couldn’t cut out the fellowship in me. They tried to alter my destiny. I understand that “boys will be boys” and they were behaving like junior high adolescents. I forgave them. I worship God anyway. Wouldn’t you?

Fr. Dwight Longenecker: I guess I’m supposed to be outraged by this, but I’m not really. I’m offended, sure, but more than that I’m puzzled.

Pastor John Tolle: It’s the same word as ‘koinonia’ that we get the word ‘community’ from. The Lord’s Table is done in the context of fellowship. In my family some of my kids refuse fellowship. They don’t like people in the group. But that’s not how Christianity works. We are weak when we just take it personally. We take it in community.

Mary Luti: “He had to be made like his siblings in every way, so that he might become a merciful high priest… For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses . . . .” – Hebrews 2:17, 4:15

Westley Roderick: Married to the Church

Code of [Catholic] Canon Law TITLE I:

Can. 573 §1. The life consecrated through the profession of the evangelical counsels is a stable form of living by which the faithful, following Christ more closely under the action of the Holy Spirit, are totally dedicated to God who is loved most of all, so that, having been dedicated by a new and special title to His honor, to the building up of the Church, and to the salvation of the world, they strive for the perfection of charity in the service of the kingdom of God and, having been made an outstanding sign in the Church, foretell the heavenly glory.

Brat: At least my pony got a good stable.

Leah D. Schade: I assure him – this is a good thing.

Westley Roderick: The church needs the Evangelist!

God is restoring the value of evangelism and the identity of the Evangelist to the Body of Christ once again.

Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: If the Shechina would “wed” the Jewish people – and thus not be in exile – and they would be found unworthy of this union, they would have to die as did their brethren when the Temples stood. Therefore, G‑d prefered that the Shechina remain in exile. When living in the Temple’s presence, the standards of behavior are higher, i.e. sinning is more sinful, more of an affront to the open manifestation of divinity. In exile, the Jews could be rectified gradually and safely.

Lana Vawser: I heard His whisper “It’s a new place of REST TO RUN”

Brat: Jesus, I live the consecrated life. Please accept my profession of these evangelical counsels. I have listened to them and applied what I was able through Your counsel. You bear witness that my life has been anchored though the chaos. I am stable because of You. I have been faithfully following You under the direction of the Holy Spirit. I am totally dedicated to You and I love You most of all. I have dedicated my life to You and I give You the title and deed for my life for Your Honor. You are my King. I pray for the Church, that what I’ve shared has built her up. I pray for the salvation of the world that she may finally find the peace that her soul so cries out for. What some have criticized as high achieving and striving because of my abundant (excessive?) writing, I pray it may some day become the “perfection of charity” in the service of Your Kingdom. You have made me an outstanding sign in the Church, just as You made Ezekiel a sign for the Israelites. (Ez 12:6) Open their eyes that they may see the heavenly glory of which You foretold and I was Your mouthpiece. Thank You for this privilege. Bless Your people, God. Draw them to Your chest. You reconcile us to Yourself.

Westley Roderick: Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. – 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
