Jennifer Brownell (24 Jan 20): One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in God’s temple. For God will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of a tent; God will set me high on a rock. – Psalm 27:4-5 (NRSV)
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): A couple more years passed and I survived my Discernment Committee. They ended up agreeing that I was called but didn’t know what to call me, so they did Nothing. I didn’t fit into a religious box. But my constant prayer has always been the verse that comes up in this week’s lectionary for Epiphany 3:
Psalm 27:4 One thing I asked of the Lord, that I will seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
Jennifer Brownell (24 Jan 20): One temptation is to believe that we will find God only if we build the perfect structure. Here’s the thing, though. God doesn’t fit into the boxes we make for her. Even within two short verses, the poets do not try to make God fit into one place. The psalmist here finds the LORD in a house, in a temple, in a tent.
Brat: Are you snooping again, Sardis?
1 Corinthians 1:15 so that no one can say that you were baptized in my name.
Rabbi Curt Landry (26 Jan 20): “The Power of True Identity”
Vince Amlin (26 Jan 20): Can You Keep a Secret?
John Belt (25 Jan 20): Break the idols of religiosity. Get out of the box of the predictable and be delivered of spiritual stagnation, dryness and boredom. If you confine yourself to a religious box you cannot expect much to happen. God is unpredictable, outside of the box, and is often offensive to the natural mind. Make necessary changes, delivering yourself from the robotics of religion, and find true freedom in Christ that delights in the Lord and His truth and enjoys the communion of His Holy Spirit.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: So—this is the charge to us today: “Let it shine.” Repent, and it will shine. Look for signs that the kingdom that has drawn near, and it will shine. Follow Christ, and it will shine.
Vince Amlin (26 Jan 20): While I kept silence, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. – Psalm 32:3-5 (NRSV)
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): The thing is: how are you testifying to Jesus? How are you, like Andrew or any of your teachers, referring Jesus to others? You don’t have to have some great flash-of-light epiphany, but you should have something, some sense of how Christ is growing in you, or more commonly, how Christ is introducing various crises to how we think and live. These crises help us separate the wheat from the chaff of what matters to God.
Rabbi Curt Landry (26 Jan 20): “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” (Matthew 7:22-23)
Jo (24 Jan 20): As I struggle to keep my balance it seems I just get to a point of balance and boom another crisis.
Rick Joyner (21 Jan 20): The eagle is the national bird of the American Republic. It has been said that the eagle may be the only creature in nature that actually likes storms. They have learned that if they approach a contrary wind at the proper angle, it will carry them higher. This is fitting for our national symbol because every crisis our Republic has faced to date has carried us higher.
Kaji Douša (23 Jan 20): Turn.
There is a breeze just now but it wants to be a storm and it will be.
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): The dialogues just lay it out there. Those that speak irreverently about God or sacred things reveal themselves and this has been going on over the last decade. It is a silent witness and testimony presented to the Cloud of Witnesses. They listen and also do Nothing. To me it feels like they are just a bigger version of an ongoing Discernment Committee without end…
1 Samuel 3:14 Therefore I swore to the house of Eli, ‘The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.’”
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): Therefore, I listen to what the Spirit is saying to the Churches through all the babble. In this way God’s word is also fulfilled.
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): Friends, we need your testimony now more than ever. Be like John, be like Andrew, be like the uncountable cloud of witnesses to God’s gospel of love, justice, peace, and presence. Show us all in your words and life that Jesus is the Lamb of God who has taken away the sin of the world. Amen.
Brat: Don’t you mean the UNACCOUNTABLE Cloud of Witnesses?
Marchaé Grair (19 Jan 20): Prayer
Thank you for surrounding me with accountable love. Melt my defensiveness away so I may learn to be a better me. Amen.
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Jan 20): I WILL NOT LET JUBILEE OR ANY OTHER CHURCH TURN A BLIND EYE TO THE ISSUES WITHIN THEIR VERY OWN CONGREGATION IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Lana Vawser (19 Jan 20): “The greatest days of AWE are upon the United States of America. I am going to move in power. These are the days of My MIGHTY ACTS to be demonstrated and displayed like never before. My mighty acts are going to leave mouths open, jaws dropped and there will be a mighty demonstration that I am the God who sits in the heavens and laughs at the plans and wisdom of man. Those who know Me and know My ways will rejoice in My mighty acts and the major demonstrations of My power but those who do not know Me and know My ways will be terrified by the mighty demonstrations of My power. I am the King of Glory! I am the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I am coming in power. I am coming to restore the awe. I am coming to restore the wonder. I am coming in power, and I am coming to bring forth the greatest reform in the nation of the United States and in the body of Christ in the nation. It’s time for purification. It’s time for deep purification. This deep move of My Spirit is coming in greater increase to purge, prepare and to separate. I will bring a separation between what is of Me and what is not of Me. I am moving in power in the body of Christ in the United States of America to bring a purification. There is such a battle right now over the body of Christ in the nation to CONFORM and this ferocious attack and wave of deception that is attempting to blind many is taking ground in many areas because there is a pride in the heart of many that are standing against My wisdom and My ways and My agenda. There is a complacency to who I am and My ways and I am bringing a shaking to bring My people up higher. Judgement is beginning in My house. I am calling My people to lay face down. I am calling My people to lay face down in repentance of pride. Out of My love I am inviting My people to the place of repentance, humility and maturity in seeking Me and knowing Me and MY WAYS in the nation rather than exalting man-made opinions or wisdom. My Glory is coming that will cause the body of Christ to be facedown. To those who know My heart the RUMBLING and TUMBLING that is coming will be glorious, it will bring great joy to their hearts, but to those who do not know My ways and have pride filled hearts, the lack of understanding and revelation of who I am, in this new era will cause a terror upon their hearts.”
Binyomin Adilman: This is also the underlying idea of Torah Knowledge [in Hebrew, “Daat Torah”] the authority of the foremost Torah sages. There are a few in every generation, who because of their supreme mastery of the Torah, have the clarity to see things as they really are without any husks blurring their vision. One who follows their advice will not be led astray.
Lana Vawser (19 Jan 20): I heard the words: “It’s time to decide My people. It is time to position yourselves in humility. It’s time to be people who walk in My truth. It is time to embrace My Spirit in the dealing of the heart and allow Me to purge and bring forth purity. It’s time to fall in love with My Word again and fall out of love with your own opinions and man-made ways. You have become dazzled by your own wisdom and it’s time to move into the place of being AWED by MY WISDOM! It’s time to seek Me and know Me like never before. For those who know Me deeply and intimately as My friends will recognise My move in the United States of America in the unexpected ways in this new era. Oh the Glory of My name that shall be revealed. Oh the signs, wonders and miracles that shall be displayed in this new day. Oh My love that will be demonstrated and revealed. Oh the harvest that shall be! Oh the many, many, many souls that shall come to know Me. Oh how My name will be lifted high in the nation. Oh the demonstration of My justice that shall be seen. Oh the power of My name to bring down principalities and powers that shall be seen. Oh the glorious move of My Spirit that is upon the nation. But I am releasing the sound of warning upon you My people. Get serious! Come into My presence and allow Me to examine your hearts, allow Me to bring you higher into My wisdom and allow me to teach you My ways and teach you to govern from your heavenly seat (Ephesians 2:6).
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): I believe God is addressing the Church family. Am I immune from this judgment? Of course not. My voice is my bias. My presence creates a bias. It is impossible for me to remain neither hot nor cold.
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Jan 20): APATHY IS RELATED TO PRIDE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Rabbi Curt Landry (26 Jan 20): This is a word for the Church. When Yeshua says, “I will declare…” it is a court order. Once He declares, it shall be done.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (23 Jan 20): A person has to know themselves. Surroundings are dynamic, not static. The Torah is teaching us that either you will influence your surroundings or most certainly your surroundings will influence you.
Anna Blake (17 Jan 20): The narrative matters. I won’t turn this into a fairy tale because the real story is too important. It isn’t that I don’t feel sympathy. It was a harrowing experience for all of them, stressful to even read about. I hope this mare heals well from this nightmare attack, but I refuse to feel sorry for her. I am too much in awe. Besides, horses are bored by our pity, it reads sour to their senses. I have met this mare; she left an indelible mark. She had a raw dignity within her stoic demeanor. She was always more than her story.
Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness on them light has shined.
Stephen Fee (15 Jan 20): “Every reader and writer in the country should be horrified, absolutely horrified, at this bill,” said PEN America’s Tager. “The fact that a librarian could actually be imprisoned under this act for following his or her conscience and refusing to block minors from access to a book, that tells you all you need to know about the suitability of this act within a democratic society.”
Kat Kerr: At beginning of year, God was talking to me about the new decade we have entered: 2020–2030. He calls it “The Divine Decade,” which will set up the way we will live for the next century. This year, He will begin to openly expose evil men, plans and places that are totally against what He desires and which belong to the darkness—they will be dealt with. He will also openly reveal the good people, plans and places, on this earth, which are just and represent the light and God’s own plans—they will be blessed.
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): God’s mandates to me to 1) worship God and 2) share the journey now took on greater depth and meaning. The hardest part was that I didn’t have a clue as to how to tell people (even friends and family who loved me) that I had met GOD!
Matthew 4:16 the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned.”
Anna Blake (17 Jan 20): Of course, the mare had a history, it would be easy to rehash that sad tale all over again and feel sorry for her circumstances before she came to her rider. At what point do we let go of the old stories that hold us back? Are we ever too old to be bigger in our potential than the sum of the past? Let it go, she is no victim. Let her’s be a hero’s tale.
Stephen Fee (15 Jan 20): PEN America, an organization of writers and readers formed in 1922, has fought against book bans for almost 100 years. PEN America is a member organization of the National Coalition Against Censorship and is also affiliated with Banned Books Week, the yearly campaign to highlight the phenomenon of banned books and to push back against censorship in U.S. schools, libraries, and other spaces.
Isaiah 9:3 You have multiplied the nation, you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest, as people exult when dividing plunder.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: When we follow Jesus, we acknowledge and admit that we are marvelously made, that God’s works are wonderful, and that we know this very well.
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Jan 20): I WANT TO DO GREAT THINGS AT JUBILEE FOR MY NAME SAKE AND THEIR OWN STUBBORNNESS TO OBEY MY COMMANDMENTS IS THE SINGLE REASON THAT JUBILEE HAS NOT RECIEVED ANY BREAKTHROUGH IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Christopher Muscato: Naphtali’s Tribe
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: And this is not to say we’ve been notoriously sinful or wicked — at least not any more than anybody else. We all of us make choices, and frequently we make poor ones.
Kat Kerr: These things will begin soon, and we are not to be troubled or be in fear over them. The evil and darkness will FAIL again and again, as they are fighting against God. The just, the righteous and the light, will WIN again and again, as God will have His way in this time.
Verse of the Day (24 Jan 20): [ Doing Good to All ] Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. ~ Galatians 6:1 NIV
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: This is to say that we are human, that we want to do so much better than we so frequently are able, that we want to let go of small annoyances and petty gripes and senseless quarrels among us — and grab on to what is really important.
Stephen Fee: Join PEN America Today. Defend free expression, support persecuted writers, and promote literary culture.
Brat: I joined.
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Jan 20): I CAN RESTORE JUBILEE IF THEY GENUINELY REPENT AND TURN BACK TO ME IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (23 Jan 20): In this week’s Torah portion, Vaeira, and last week, Shemot, we read about Moshe’s staff. What do we know about the staff of Moshe? Pirkei Avot teaches that this is the staff that was created by G-d at the very end of creation week, during the twilight before the first Shabbat, the Shabbat of Creation. According to one opinion it was made of wood. Another that it was from the precious sapphire gem. It had G-d’s four-lettered name (Yud-Hai-Vav-Hai) engraved on it. G-d gave it to Adam while he was still in the Garden of Eden. Before he died, Adam gave it to his grandson Chanoch, Chanoch gave it Noah’s son Shem, Shem gave it to Avraham, Avraham to Yitzchak, Yitzchak to Yaakov. After he came down to Egypt, Yaakov willed it to Yosef. When Yosef died, Pharaoh confiscated all his belongings. Yitro, the High Priest of Midian, was one of Pharaoh’s advisors and understood the staff’s great value. When he was forced to flee from Egypt, he took it with him, using his occult powers to sneak it past the treasury guards. On arriving back in Midian and again using his occult powers, Yitro planted the staff in his garden making it almost impossible to extract. Yitro promised his most beautiful daughter, Tzipporah, as a wife to whoever could pull the staff out of the ground. Many tried but did not succeed. Moshe saw the staff one day, pulled it out and brought it to Yitro.
Isaiah 9:4 For the yoke of their burden, and the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor, you have broken as on the day of Midian.
One For Israel.org: The Day of Midian was the day that God vanquished Israel’s foes through a mighty defeat that depended on a group of men armed with clay pots, torches and trumpets. God saved the day and made it quite plain that this was no ordinary military victory: this was the arm of the Lord at work, mighty to save.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Jan 20): I HAVE BEEN CALLING JUBILEE TO REPENT OF GOSSIP AND SLANDER AND REBUILD WHAT THEY HAVE TORN DOWN IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: And that will bring us to the present: What is really important is that the kingdom of heaven has come near. Jesus lived among us, not to predict some future and yet-unachieved utopia, but to proclaim that God’s mercy, justice, and love are already here — manifest, in this place, now. So close we can touch, taste, smell, see, and hear — if that is what we are listening for.
Matthew 4:18 As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea for they were fishermen.
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): The catch (in this fishing net for Epiphany 3?) is that if the reader doesn’t invite the Holy Spirit into reading the pieces in my blog, then the pieces themselves become either an entertainment or a burden.
1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Stephen Fee: PEN America stands at the intersection of literature and human rights to protect open expression in the United States and worldwide. We champion the freedom to write, recognizing the power of the word to transform the world. Our mission is to unite writers and their allies to celebrate creative expression and defend the liberties that make it possible.
Matthew 4:19 And He said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.”
Jennifer Brownell (24 Jan 20): Prayer
Holy One—meet me in the home, in the temple, in the tent. Wherever I am, remind me that my shelter is you. Amen.
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): …I am seriously wondering if your very presence and our reconnection may be how, in God’s wisdom, He is sending me home by a different route.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (23 Jan 20): A wise person uses the eyes in his head. Choose your environment carefully because it affects not just who you are, but what you accomplish.
1 Samuel 3:17 “What was it he said to you?” Eli asked. “Do not hide it from me. May God deal with you, be it ever so severely, if you hide from me anything he told you.”
[Received still more SILENCE…]
Vince Amlin (26 Jan 20): Secrets are destructive. To families. To congregations. To bodies. They divide us. They drive us to avoid each other. They make understanding impossible. Secrets zap our strength and lay heavy on us as the hand of God.
1 Samuel 3:18 So Samuel told him everything, hiding nothing from him. Then Eli said, “He is the LORD; let him do what is good in his eyes.”
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): So, I keep worshiping God and sharing the journey, even though I get no response and my work is just siphoned up to the silent Cloud. I pray God will someday soon connect my life’s work with a leader who sees the value in it. And in the process I would finally get sanctuary. Our story is bigger than either one of us. Jesus did say He would make us fishers of men!
Rick Joyner (21 Jan 20): So, how do we determine the proper angle to face adversity? Eagles learn from their parents, and we must start by doing the same. Eagles tend to be independent and rarely flock together, but when they do it is one of the most magnificent spectacles in nature. There have been many brilliant leaders in human history, but most stood alone. American history is unique in that it was birthed by the gathering of some of the most extraordinary men in history, all of whom were strong, independent thinkers. That such would gather is remarkable, but that they came into unity with a common purpose makes this one of the truly extraordinary miracles in history.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: But budgets and reports and achievements — they are not our mission, they are not what Jesus calls us to listen to, they are not what our Lord and Savior commands us to value. When we follow, Jesus makes us fishers of men, ambassadors of Christ, evangelists.
Matthew 4:20 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: Our calling as a Christian community is not to repair the roof, or balance the books, or print up the bulletin. Oh, these things are important — essential to the building up of Christ’s body, really.
Lana Vawser (19 Jan 20): Recently I heard the Lord say “People of God in the United States of America, can you hear the sound of reform?” As the Lord spoke this, there was a deep sense that surrounded me of the invitation upon the people of God in the United States to have their ears on His chest and listening to what the Lord is speaking and governing from their heavenly seat (Ephesians 2:6) and living in the reality of what the Lord is speaking right now (Matthew 4:4)
Rabbi Curt Landry (26 Jan 20): Practicing man-made principles, as opposed to biblical principles, is practicing lawlessness. When we willfully act according to anything other than God’s instruction, it is going against the law and our true identity. When you walk in grace by the Blood of Yeshua in the law – the Word – you have an automatic reward because that Word shall not come back void. It shall prosper in what it was sent to do (see Isaiah 55:11).
Matthew 4:21 As he went from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets, and he called them.
Lana Vawser (19 Jan 20): When the Lord spoke this I felt strongly to look up the word REFORM.
Kaji Douša (23 Jan 20): Turn.
Turn and take your face from the task and look to the sky.
Lana Vawser (19 Jan 20): REFORM DEFINITION: “To make changes in (something, especially an institution or practise) in order to improve it.
SYNONMNS: improve, make better, refine, mend, rectify, correct, alter, change, adjust, adapt, amend, revise, reshape, refashion, redesign, restyle, revamp, renovate, rework, remake, make over, reorientate, transform, convert, tailor, reorganise. (Google)
Matthew 4:22 Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
Rabbi Curt Landry (26 Jan 20): How Does Lawlessness Influence True Identity?
Vince Amlin (26 Jan 20): Prayer
Knowing God, free us from the burden of our secrets. Heal us from the notion that we must face our brokenness alone.
Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness among the people.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: The chassid told the doctor of his visit to his rebbe. “The only explanation I have,” the doctor responded, “is that your rebbe’s blessing transformed the disease from one type to the other.”
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: This is not to deny the sometimes-painful realities of our world — not to forget about hunger amidst so much waste, or homelessness amidst economic vitality, or sickness amidst amazing healing power.
Vince Amlin (26 Jan 20): But here’s the secret about secrets. They are never as powerful as when they are hidden. The moment they are shared, they begin to waste away. Want to test it? Do what the psalmist does. Start with God. Put down the cake, and say a prayer! Share your secret, and let the healing begin.
1 Corinthians 1:13 Has Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: And as for the future: Jesus says, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.” We are called — each and every one of us, and all of us together — to bring the light of lights into the world, to proclaim to all people the Good News of salvation, to make known the glory of God’s marvelous works.
1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize but to proclaim the gospel, and not with eloquent wisdom, so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of its power.

Stephen Fee (15 Jan 20): (New York, NY) – A bill proposed in Missouri this month represents a transparent, shameful attempt to legalize book banning in public libraries within the state, PEN America said today.
Phyllis Tarbox: Any control that uses fear, guilt, or shame to manipulate you opens a door that allows demonic spirits to influence your mind, will, and emotions.
Rabbi YY Jacobson: The dictator, the control freak, or the abusive spouse or parent, does not know how to give others freedom. He (or she) feels compelled to force others into the mold that he has created for them. Uncomfortable in his own skin, he is afraid that someone will overshadow him, expose his weaknesses, usurp his position or make him feel extra in this world. Outwardly he attempts to appear powerful, but inwardly his power is a symptom of inner misery and confinement.
Marchaé Grair (19 Jan 20): I don’t think this defensiveness comes from a desire to feel perfect. Instead, I think it is difficult for me to believe that those who love me could find fault in me and still love me anyway. I look at my flaws and can’t imagine someone would love me in spite of them—let alone, that someone wants to love me through the messiness of working through them.
Stephen Fee (15 Jan 20): The bill — the Parental Oversight of Public Libraries Act or House Bill 2044 — aims to add several provisions to the state’s funding law for public libraries. These new provisions establish “parental library review boards” that would evaluate whether any library materials constitute “age-inappropriate sexual material.” Members of these five-member boards, who would be elected at a town meeting by a simple majority of voters, are empowered to determine whether material is appropriate, including by evaluating its literary merit. Public librarians are explicitly barred by the statute from serving on such review boards, even if they are from the community.
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): I got the page job at the library in November 2007 and prepared to go for ten days to the Order of Julian in May 2008 to try and figure out my calling. (My spiritual advisor there told me to look at ‘holy hermit’ as fitting my calling.) RIGHT before my trip, your Mom had heard about the book The Shack and God had told her to buy it for me and she sent you on an errand to hand-deliver it to me at the library, because the next day I would be flying out to Wisconsin. None of us knew why that was important. We only knew our obedience was important to God in these details.
Pastor Steve Dittmar (21 Jan 20): Keeping the word of God is honoring what God has said, promised and directed as truth. Truth we can believe, truth we can trust and truth we can worship God with. We find God (or rather He finds us) when we worship in sprit and truth (John 4:23, 24). Bringing to God His words in worship is the most attractive thing we can do, because we are bringing God to God. Soon the words of God activate the faith of God and the love of God comes, securing us within His presence. Fear has no place in His presence, and even though the rational may not have been satisfied, love casts out fear once more. Now peace can come, guarding our hearts and minds, and allowing hope to spring forth in present time!
Proverbs 18:17 The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Jan 20): GOSSIP IS BOTH THEFT AND MURDER IN JESUS NAME AND I LOATHE GOSSIP IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): Life and learning then are really all about referral: one person referring information to another person.
Quinn Caldwell (20 Jan 20): It hasn’t escaped me that I said, “admits to not knowing,” like not knowing is some kind of crime. For a lot of us, especially in certain circles, it almost is. To be faced with someone knowing something we don’t can feel quite shameful. What if this is something every educated person knows, and I don’t? What if I ask, “What’s that?” and suddenly the party’s all record-scratches and crickets and so so much staring? Rather than risk it, I furrow my brow and nod knowingly. I hope to brazen it out without embarrassment, and then google it later.
Binyomin Adilman: Because of this, our Sages exhort us to mention the Exodus from Egypt twice every day in our prayers the verse, “And you put signs and wonders in the land of Egypt until this very day”, declared the prophet Jeremiah. (32:20) The meaning is that reflection on the events of the exile and slavery and the subsequent redemption can be a catalyst for one to break out of his own Exile of Knowledge and to reach full cognizance of the presence of G d. “In every generation, one is obligated to consider himself as if he himself came up out of Egypt.” (Passover Haggada) This is the breaking of the Exile of Knowledge.
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): Don’t you find it remarkable that we know anything at all? If you think about it, we don’t know much of anything unless we have been taught it by another person. Engaging in a website or a film or a book privately is being taught by another person; the website and that film and book were made by other people. Even the learning that occurs in raw nature is colored by our interactions with other people; when you look at a tree, you know it’s called a tree because you learned that word from someone.
Brian Fraga: We can still be too quick to anger. We behave selfishly when our spouse needs us to be self-sacrificial. We get stubborn and ignore advice from a trusted confidante. We lash out at others for perceived slights. Instead of standing up against injustice, we choose silence and the path of least resistance. We give in to temptation and indulge in things we shouldn’t.
Jennifer Brownell (24 Jan 20): It’s a temptation to believe the cloth must be laid just so, the candles lit correctly, your heart swept clean, your mind a tidy dwelling place. God is ready to live with you wherever you are.
Matthew 4:14 so that what had been spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled
Talitha Arnold (22 Jan 20): The prophet knew he couldn’t just say, “Be not afraid.” He had shared his people’s suffering and knew their terror first-hand. He knew the only way to overcome that terror was to come back to the living God. So he gave voice to God’s love: “I am the One who teaches you for your own good, who leads you in the way you should go.”
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): Even in these last nine years of crushing Silence, God has been faithful. He has kept me anchored in Himself through the weekly lectionary readings, even when the Evangelicals don’t follow. He brought in other voices of leaders to show how He was fulfilling His word. He had me take their words verbatim and weave them into an ongoing corporate dialogue with the lectionary readings. And with encouragement from friends, I started up my blog again, which I had let die. Now the blog stewards our collective conversation which I could never get with the bishop. Even rabbis from Israel and the United States have been active participants.
1 Samuel 3:11 And the LORD said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle.
Jewish Voice (15 Jan 20): Thank you for standing with Israel and her people
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: The chassid, however, decided to go see his rebbe before going home. “If my days are numbered, at least I will have seen the rebbe before I die,” he thought, and set out for Liozna.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (23 Jan 20): The first Rebbe of Chabad, Schneur Zalman of Liadi (whose yahrzeit was this last Tuesday, the 24th of Tevet, January 21st) once was approached by a person who was observant but was not a chassid/follower of the Rebbe and said that he wanted to move from a place with a strong Jewish community to a place where there was no Jewish community. The Rebbe strongly warned him against it, saying that he would be corrupted there. The man answered that he does not agree, that he knows himself and that by nature he is not susceptible to influences from his surroundings. “The proof is”, he said, “that I have been with you and have not been influenced by your holiness. Similarly, if I move to this city, I will not be affected by the secular atmosphere there.” The Rebbe answered him that he is mistaken. That he does not understand the dynamic between spiritual impurity and the purity of holiness.
Brat: Well, you know me. I’ve shared with you and listened to you for years.
1 Samuel 2:5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food,
but those who were hungry are hungry no more.
She who was barren has borne seven children,
but she who has had many sons pines away.
Paula at Jewishvoice.org (22 Jan 20): We are praying for clear vision and big faith
Revelation 1:10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the Seven Churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”
Binyomin Adilman: The Baal Shem Tov taught that not only were the physical bodies of the Israelites enslaved, but so too their minds. Pharaoh worked them so hard that they didn’t have any time to think about their situation – to contemplate if there was or was not a G d who was concerned for them. That is the meaning of, “Increase the difficulty of the work for the men, and make sure they do it…” (Ex. 5:9).
Kaji Douša (23 Jan 20): There is work in the fields. Sun and soil, wind, rain and the seasons have their demands. The ones who buy the seeds and lease or own the lands have their demands. The managers, the pacesetters, the quota-getters, the overseers: they have their demands, as well.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (23 Jan 20): “Therefore,” the Rebbe explained to him, “since you only visited with me briefly and did not literally ingest the holiness here (for instance, by studying with me or hearing me say some of my teachings), you were not influenced in a positive way. But when you will be in that secular environment, you will become tainted by even simply coming in contact with the people there. Further, there is another corollary that we find in Torah sources, that it is very easy to lose holiness. An example is terumah, the portion of crops that was separated to be food for the priests and therefore became holy. This terumah becomes defiled even from something spiritually impure three times removed. [The original item that was impure touched another item and that item touched a third item. The third item still had the power to contaminate the terumah food (Talmud, Zevachim 97 a & b).] However, something holy, like meat from an offering in the Temple, could be defiled even by something four times removed. The reason is that the more holy something is, the more aggressive the powers of defilement. Similarly, with something impure; it is very easy for it to make something else impure. Here, the reason is that the powers of defilement succeed in opening up the gates of impurity and then it continues to push forward. I am therefore warning you not to go there, because if you go you will be easily contaminated.”
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: “Nu, so you will shiver!” the rebbe said.
Kaji Douša (23 Jan 20): Turn because the ancestors saw this story before you got there. They knew the pitch and the season and the beat before you ever heard it.
1 Samuel 2:13 Now it was the practice of the priests that, whenever any of the people offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand while the meat was being boiled 14 and would plunge the fork into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot. Whatever the fork brought up the priest would take for himself. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh.
Rabbi YY Jacobson: “Let My People Go!” But Can They Let Themselves Go?
1 Samuel 2:15 But even before the fat was burned, the priest’s servant would come and say to the person who was sacrificing, “Give the priest some meat to roast; he won’t accept boiled meat from you, but only raw.”
Wanda Alger (22 Jan 20): THE TRAP IS BEING SET – BUT FOR WHO?
Proverbs 28:10 Whoever leads the upright along an evil path
will fall into their own trap,
but the blameless will receive a good inheritance.
Quinn Caldwell (20 Jan 20): Prayer
Everybody knows that nobody knows everything, God. Never let me get so smart—or so good at faking it—that I miss the messengers you send me. Amen.
Rabbi YY Jacobson: Who Is Free?
1 Samuel 3:13 For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God, and he failed to restrain them.
Rabbi YY Jacobson: The answer to this question is profoundly simple and moving, and is vital to the understanding of liberty in the biblical imagination.
Brian Fraga: The Pope Apologized and We Should Too
Rabbi YY Jacobson: Before Pharaoh can liberate the Jewish slaves, they must be ready to become free. You can take a man out of slavery, but it may prove more challenging to take slavery out of a man. Externally, you may be free; internally you may still be enslaved.
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): As it turned out The Shack had a huge impact on opening up my heart and giving me words to understand and describe how the Trinity’s relationship was working and interweaving in me. It opened up grace space in my heart so that I could meet the Burning Bush Himself in the chapel at the Order of Julian. The experience was beautiful and indescribable! The people around me didn’t see it. They didn’t know. But I know that I burned with love, compassion, and purpose like I’d never known before.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (16 Jan 20): But how can I know that the voice calling me is real? How do I know that it is not a fantasy created by an imagined ego, a childish dream, divorced from reality? How do I know that this is not the hallucination of a lunatic, but my personal call to greatness? Maybe I need to go to a psychiatrist or a therapist instead of returning to Egypt and confronting my Pharaoh?
Stephen Fee (15 Jan 20): Under the act, the boards would hold public hearings to receive suggestions as to possible inappropriate books, and would have the authority to order the library to remove any such material from access by minors. Any public library who allows minors access to such “age-inappropriate materials” would have their funding stripped, and librarians who refuse to comply with the act can be fined and imprisoned for up to one year.
Matthew 4:12 Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew to Galilee.
Brat: It’s actually been thirteen years (all told) that I’ve been in my calling trying to get a response to no avail.
Sophia Valentina Buller (23 Jan 20): Joseph was in prison for 13 years before he was 2nd in command in Egypt, just under Pharaoh. Jesus makes BEAUTY from ashes! 13 sound familiar? Nothing is wasted!
Brat: Pharaoh had to remember Joseph first.
Genesis 41:9 9 Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, “Today I am reminded of my shortcomings.
Rabbi YY Jacobson: What is the first and foremost symptom of bring free? That you learn to confer freedom on others.
Moshe Miller: “When Pharaoh speaks to you and he says, ‘Give me a miraculous sign,’ you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and cast it down before Pharaoh. It will become a serpent.'”
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: So, look around for signs of the kingdom, here and now.
Brat: I heard on the radio that the outbreaks of the Coronavirus in China and in the U.S. may have come from rodents and snakes.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: He went to a well-known doctor, who answered him in grave tones, “I’m afraid you have contacted a rare disease for which, as of yet, no cure has been found. I suggest you return home immediately.”
Jennifer Brownell (24 Jan 20): How about you? Where do you seek the Holy? In the comfort and camaraderie of home—gathered around a table heaped with a favorite meal? Or it could be you look for the LORD under the soaring rooftops of the temple—a place of worship and learning. Or maybe you find the Divine Presence in the temporary structure of the tent—on the go, wherever you are. Or perhaps you are one of those blessed to encounter the Living God in all of those places.
Wanda Alger (22 Jan 20): If we can keep our eyes fixed on higher things and choose to believe in the impossible, resurrection power is still at work. Regardless of the reports, pronouncements, and testimonies brought forward, our faith rests in the only One who can make the final call. Let the devil have his hay day. Let him think he’s winning. It will only serve a greater purpose in demonstrating the reality of a supernatural God who can’t be fooled and won’t be mocked. Reckoning day will come…and then we’ll see who’s smiling.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: This is to say we are all of us sinners, and that we can make a choice whether to dwell on life’s problems or to look for life’s opportunities. Are we going to wrestle with the devil, or dance with the savior? Taste and see, for our God is gracious — and God’s kingdom has drawn near.

Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: It’s like suddenly noticing a light that has been burning all along, or hearing a cricket that has always hidden underneath the din our existence — for the only thing that changes is our attitude, our perception, our choice.
Episcopal Church.org: Now retired, Barrie Bates has served Episcopal and Lutheran congregations in California, New York, and New Jersey over the past 20+ years. He holds a Ph.D. in liturgical studies and serves on the General Board of Examining Chaplains. He looks forward to spending more time on the shores of Lake Michigan, and he welcomes conversation about his sermons.
Brat: So, where’s his email address? And he only welcomes conversation about his stuff? Do you see a territorial occupation? Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan?
Phyllis Tarbox: That ungodly soul tie becomes a neon sign in the spirit realm directing more demons your way. You become a banquet table that was not set by the Lord.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: Do I want to change? If your answer isn’t “yes,” you need help — the kind of help that is offered at the holy table of God.
Stephen Fee (15 Jan 20): “This is a shockingly transparent attempt to legalize book banning in the state of Missouri,” said James Tager, deputy director of Free Expression Research and Policy at PEN America. “This act is clearly aimed at empowering small groups of parents to appoint themselves as censors over their state’s public libraries. Books wrestling with sexual themes, books uplifting LGBTQIA+ characters, books addressing issues such as sexual assault—all of these books are potentially on the chopping block if this bill is passed.”
Wanda Alger (22 Jan 20): Can you imagine the gaudy glee and giddy expectation the demons had at Jesus’s trial and crucifixion? Believing that they had finally cornered and trapped him without any escape, the legions of hell watched and waited to see the final death blow to this One who had been threatening their demonic conquest for control. To see Him not only put on trial, but beaten, mocked, and humiliated must have brought them great delight and satisfaction. And yet…they had no clue or inclination that THEY were the ones being set up and not HIM.
Brat to KC Robertson (21 Jan 20): KC, in your sermon you had talked about acting on our callings. These dialogues in my blog have been my act of courage to “shift to be,” as you said. These dialogues have kept my voice alive when the “prince of the power of the air” (Eph 2:2) has tried in every way possible to kill it.
1 Samuel 3:12 At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family—from beginning to end.
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): “…then report back so we can get your testimony. …”
Brat: Sounds familiar. Where? The bishops and those in the know refuse to respond.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: And, do I believe? — truly and earnestly believe in my heart of hearts — that God’s kingdom has drawn near? If your answer isn’t “yes,” you are exactly like all the rest of us, everyone here — skeptical that God could love us so much as to allow us to make such important choices.
Charisma (21 Jan 20): Whose approval are you seeking…God’s?
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): If no Christian went public, so to speak, if no Christian testified to Jesus, the Church would utterly evaporate. The gospel would still exist, of course, but only in the abstract. The gospel would then be the proverbial falling tree in the woods with no one to hear it fall. If the gospel is not proclaimed, is it the gospel? God is so committed to non-violence that God will not force it on us. The gospel requires – requires – people to proclaim and live it. If we don’t, society and culture will just swallow it up, because as we know, nature abhors a vacuum. If we do not proclaim that God is love and, through Jesus Christ, has broken every bond and boundary and empowered us to do the same, well, the culture will come in and teach us how to get and get and get and how to use people as things.
Rabbi YY Jacobson: Why Do You Need to Control Me??
Theresa Phillips: Our Lord is opening our hearts and ears to accept and deliver the messages of kingship and priestly positions in the Church. These positions will not be governed by legalistic, controlling voices. They will be governed by the Lord, Himself.
Wanda Alger (22 Jan 20): We must determine that the optics intended to bring discouragement and defeat to true freedom seekers, are but heaven’s way of preoccupying the enemy with his own self-worth. While the devil is busy building his case and pronouncing his sentence, the Lord is already at work with a final move of His own. We may not know what that looks like yet, but I know He has one. He always does.
Anna Blake (17 Jan 20): What the Nightmare Revealed
Moshe Miller: The staff of Aaron swallowed the other staffs after turning back into wood, thus demonstrating that occult powers were not involved. Instead G-d’s ability to override the laws of nature and the physical world became revealed.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (16 Jan 20): The answer is when the fire burns and burns, yet never consumes your bush. The light bulb never dims. The voice inside me never falls silent. Then I know that this is not a fantasy, but a mission. My inner fire and secret passion, my ‘heart of fire,’ can never be extinguished, can never be placated by any other alternatives. I can run, but I cannot hide, because the fire will continue to burn inside me.
Matthew 4:13 He left Nazareth and made his home in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali,
Brian Fraga: “Love makes us patient. At times we lose our patience – me too. And I am sorry for the bad example I gave yesterday,” the pontiff said.
Proverbs 25:15 Through patience a ruler can be persuaded,

Rabbi Curt Landry (26 Jan 20): What causes you to lose faith? Do any of these situations resonate with you?
• I pray, and nothing happens.
• I decree, and nothing happens.
• I prophesy, and nothing happens.
• I ask the Lord, and nothing happens.
Simply put, faith wanes when there is a lack of deliverables.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: Jesus said it another way, in last week’s gospel: “What are you looking for?” And this is the challenge before us today: what are we looking for, who are we listening to, what are we valuing most in our common life together?
Talitha Arnold (22 Jan 20): What did he say in such a troubled time? “Listen.” “Hearken.” “Draw near.” “Hear.” In a word, reconnect with the One who was both the first and the last, who had “laid the foundation of the earth and whose right hand spread out the heavens.”
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): It could end you know.
Mindy Weisberger: Doomsday Clock is now 100 seconds from midnight
Brian Fraga: We’re better than that. We have to be.
The Washington Post: “The Doomsday Clock reads 100 seconds to midnight, a decision made by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, during an announcement Thursday at the National Press Club in Washington.”
Mindy Weisberger: The hypothetical clock measures our nearness to Armageddon.
Isaiah 9:1 But there will be no gloom for those who were in anguish. In the former time he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time he will make glorious the way of the sea, the land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: The Lubavitcher Rebbe comments that future of the Jewish people depends on their being separate and unique from the other nations. When G-d Himself breaks down the natural boundaries of the world, it is important that the separation of Jews from the other nations be intensified.
Kat Kerr: God will show Himself powerfully by the unexpected and unbelievable things He will do in this decade. He has said that He will take Hollywood and the entertainment industry for Himself. He will expose the fake news and lying media and replace them with those who will report the true news. He will give great inventions, cures for diseases and witty ideas to those whom man would consider “not qualified.”
Proverbs 15:25 The Lord tears down the house of the proud, but maintains the widow’s boundaries.
Christopher Muscato: Naphtali’s godliness was reflected in the happiness of his character and eloquence of his speech. That same blessing would carry the legacy of his tribe. When the Israelites conquered Canaan, Joshua divided up the land between the tribes. The tribe of Naphtali got the land bordering the Jordan River, just west of the Sea of Galilee. The region of Naphtali was amongst the most fertile in all of Israel, known as an earthly paradise to the Israelites. To the people of Naphtali, their founder’s goodness and godliness was reflected in their receiving this paradise. They were blessed through his beautiful words.
Brat: Naphtali sounds like the consummate politician.
Pastor Tom Demaree (20 Jan 20): Just as an artist combines reds and blues to create royal hues of purple, we believe when WE THE PEOPLE come together under the Master’s Hand in genuine unity, we transcend the earthly realm of political party-demarcation and step into the majesty of God’s Kingdom…
Pastor Steve Dittmar (21 Jan 20): Faith and love are eternal in Christ. Faith unlocks His love and love fuels faith. Back and forth they go. Faith in His word unlocks love in our hearts; His love for us, His love for His body and His love for the world. Love causes us to know we are in His heart, and that before time began, we were in Christ, holy and without blame, before the Father in love. Love gives confidence, because it drives out fear. Just as light removes darkness from a room, so love removes fear from a heart. When fear develops from past trauma, old patterns of control, or a clear and present danger, love is waiting, ready to be revealed once more within our hearts.
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Jan 20): I AM WORKING ON JUBILEE TO REALIZE THAT REPENTENCE INCLUDES TURNING AWAY FROM SIN AND DEFENDING THE OPPRESED AND SEEKING TO RIGHT THE WRONGS IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: First, the past — clear and simple, unambiguous and direct, Jesus says it this way: “Repent.”
Brian Fraga: Whether we care to admit it or not, the President of the United States sets the tone for our country, and I argue that his take-no-prisoners-and-never-apologize approach is wreaking havoc on our national discourse. Instead of being a leaven where they are, politically-involved Catholics on both sides of the aisle are mimicking that same cruel and unforgiving brand of politics.
Lana Vawser (19 Jan 20): “Many of you want to see change in your nation but you are not allowing My Spirit to change your hearts by laying down your pride, your love of your own opinions and agenda. Repent and lay it all down and come into your greatest days of knowing My wisdom, then you shall truly know what it is to govern from your heavenly seat in victory. Do not be like the Pharisees who were in love with their own ways and opinions and exaltation of their wisdom, or you will miss the move of My Spirit even when it is right before your eyes.
Anna Blake (17 Jan 20): The mare stopped because she trusted her rider. How many of us could pass the wolf test?
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: Repent — for we are all of us sinners, we have each one of us and all of us together failed to live up to our true calling, we have made mistakes, we have fallen down.
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): In today’s Gospel passage, we see how this teaching, this act of referral to a larger life, works. The passage opens with John the Baptist sort of hanging out. Along comes Jesus. Then the proclamation that Jesus is the Lamb of God leaps out of his mouth. When John describes Jesus as the Lamb of God, he means that, in the spiritual tradition of Jesus and John and those who were gathered, Jesus is the active agent in a healing act between God and creation. Jesus is, is, the restored relationship between God and people. But that proclamation began with John and, as the text says, is his testimony. John is testifying to what God has already made known to him. Now, a lot of us Episcopalians get nervous about the word “testify” because, in other Christian groups, a testimony is a once and for all occasion that many of us can’t relate to. For us, instead, we generally see God in glimpses, and our growth toward Christ is slow but sure. One great thing about the notion of testimony, though, is that it is predicated on both a testimony about something, namely God, but also to something, namely whoever wants to hear about it. John, then, is testifying to those around him. And what do they do in response to that testimony? They leave John and follow Jesus.
Brat: And you? How are you showing that you care to hear? The Episcopal Church of the USA keeps surfing what I write and continues arc speaking through it without providing me sanctuary. It feels abusive. Nothing personal.
Brian Fraga: But the next day, I would argue that the Holy Father was at his very best when he apologized for losing his patience.
Brat: There is no accountability.
Rev. Dr. J. Barrington Bates: “I figure you hear what you’re listening for.” That’s a powerful statement for us as a Christian community.
Matthew 4:15 “Land of Zebulun, land of Naphtali, on the road by the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles
Christopher Muscato: However, from what we do know, Naphtali proved to be happy and a very eloquent speaker (taken as a sign of great intelligence in that culture). He became respected as a man of intelligence and sage wisdom, which was believed to reflect his godliness and spiritual strength. This is also why Jacob described Naphtali as having ”beautiful words.” His words were eloquent, wise, and holy.
Rev. Joshua Bowron (19 Jan 20): Certainly, each of us can think of a dozen stories of childhood and onward that describe a single individual showing how something operates, telling us information, relating to us a deeper understanding of how the universe works.

Kevin Zadai: The move of God is under way in this generation. The key is to not forcefully pursue His revelation and glory by soulish manipulation. The key here is to wait upon the Lord. He will cause a great and mighty flow of the glory of Father God. There are many things that must be revealed to every Christian so that they are able to understand the specific and unique ministry that God has given to them as a Believer. It is especially important at this time in history for each Christian to wait upon the Lord. The angels have been assigned to every Christian to make sure that each one can receive all the briefings from Heaven that are needed in this time for this generation. I know that each Believer desires to be faithful to God. Just remember, the angels of Heaven are assigned to each Believer, and their desire is for each us to be faithful to God as well. Angels are trained agents of faithfulness. They cannot be denied if a Christian will continue trusting God and let angels do their job.
Thomas Griffin: He trusted my word because he trusted my love for him. Why? Because I’m a good father. Because he is my child. Because I said so.
Brat: And Hedwig, Harry Potter’s owl, did what Harry asked of him, because she trusted, loved, and he said so. How does this glorify God?
Donna Schaper (16 Jan 20): The poet Rainer Maria Rilke became famous by begging us to love the questions. He is not surprised that people have to be admonished to love questions. If it were easy, we wouldn’t need admonishing.
Brat: If we look at the Harry Potter series by first removing the fear of sorcery, logically speaking, at its core it is a story of redemption. What it does not do is attribute the glory to Jesus Christ.
Lana Vawser (10 Jan 20): This week the Lord showed me many in the body of Christ who have been facing some intense intimidation coming into 2020. There is some demonic intimidation that is attempting to ‘cloud’ what God is doing right now and what is upon you. The Lord showed me that this intimidation is just an illusion.
Brat: ‘Cloud’ is code for Cloud of Witnesses in the internet Cloud.

Lana Vawser (10 Jan 20): The noise the intimidation is making is LOUD, but it is an illusion, it cannot touch you, it is smoke and mirrors, empty words, empty threats and it is after your vision and focus. For what you focus on, is what you worship.

Kevin Zadai: When you think of God’s ways, you must understand that His ways are considered to be His pathways. He has ways of doing things and we should find out what those are. The Holy Spirit desires to lead you into those ways. Our goal is to know the only true God. “Moses knew His ways (His personality), Israel saw His acts (they were spectators)” (Psalm 103:7 KJV, emphasis added).
Psalm 40:10 I have not hidden Your saving help within my heart, I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness from the great congregation.

Kevin Zadai: The world will be a SPECTATOR and His true children will be PARTICIPATORS. We will begin to see a separation between those who genuinely love Him and those who are not sincere. We are not just to be observers but to have active encounters. Many will come to the Lord because we are participators.
Psalm 40:4 Happy are those who make the LORD their trust, who do not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after false gods.
Ben Lim: I break off any kind of evil and foul thing that has tried to attach itself to me, my soul, my body, my family, my assets or my destiny. I am free in Jesus’ name! Every single generational blessing will manifest in my life! No evil thing shall have a hold on me.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: You shall not tolerate a sorceress. ~Exodus 22:17
Brat (15 Jan 20): I’ve lost count how many times we have cycled around to this point in our collective Odyssey over and over again and I joke each time like I did with my Discernment Committee ten years ago by asking if I should bring my own firewood to my own stake-burning. Jesus is my King. HE is my defense!
Psalm 40:9 I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; see, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O LORD.
Johnny Enlow: Today, we have a similar scenario. We are close enough to a present “Promised Land” to see the actual size and layout of the enemy. We comparatively are “as grasshoppers” to what is straight ahead in our paths. If we get into comparing “us versus them,” then all courage will depart. However, when you (as Caleb did) compare the enemy versus our God, the enemy so pales in comparison that he is dismissible “The Swamp,” “the Deep State,” the Soros “Open Society” agenda, the Illuminati, the Freemasons, the Bilderbergs, the CFR, the organized sex-traffickers, etc., etc. are altogether a laughable resistance when compared to our God – I mean truly laughable (Psalms 2:4).
James W. Goll: Let’s change our lens and join the emerging Caleb Generation who see their enemies as grasshoppers in their own sight!
Ben Lim: The Lord will anoint my eyes with eye salve (Revelation 3:18) and I shall see with eagle-eye vision from Heaven’s perspective. The Lord is my light and my salvation; He will help me to see all of my blind spots, any possible traps, snares and setups that the enemy may have placed. I am more than an overcomer.
Rick Joyner (in “Thang Is” 10 Jan 20): If even one of The Lord’s little ones is slimed by our behavior and caused to stumble, then remember that The Lord Himself said it would be better not to be born than to do this to even one of His children. Is something we’re doing something we would tolerate being done to one of our own children?
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): St Patrick’s, keep your love! You are doing it well.
Brat: Bishop takes pawn. Knight takes bishop. Who is protecting the queen?
Isaiah 49:1 Listen to me, O coastlands, pay attention, you peoples from far away! The LORD called me before I was born, while I was in my mother’s womb he named me.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: But witchcraft is not relegated to fantasy. It is now making a resurgence in mainstream culture. Two months after Donald Trump was sworn in, a monthly effort to use witchcraft and black magic to end his presidency began. A gathering was called in Brooklyn to hex Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Johnny Enlow: “The God of Peace will soon crush satan under [OUR] feet” (Romans 16:20, emphasis mine). Yes, it is God who does it – but it is “Christ IN US” that is the hope of glory. Yes, God provides all the meaningful power, but He does it when WE engage with Him. God did provide the power for Goliath to be killed – but it was David’s ability to see Him that activated God. God had the power the previous 40 days of Goliath’s siege but was NOT going to intervene until someone could first SEE that, and then be moved by this SEEING of God in an exalted place of power. It is NOT “God helps those who help themselves,” but “God helps those who properly see Him and thus bring Him into their fight.”
Dr. Gregory Popcak (10 Jan 20): Working in the Church, we at Catholic Counselors are often tasked with helping people overcome scrupulosity. Only very recently, I encountered a woman who refused to go to confession because the emotional turmoil she experienced from exhaustively investigating her own heart for every possible, potential, nitty-gritty occasion of sin was simply too overwhelming to face.
Brat: That’s an apropos task for Thyatira.
Rachael and Dr. Gregory Popcak (11 Jan 20): Faith on the Couch
Facebook: Robb Oram invited you to like Robb Oram Counseling.
Dr. Gregory Popcak (10 Jan 20): How often do we, like John the Baptist in this weekend’s Gospel, inadvertently stand in the way of God’s plan in order to appease our own misguided sense of piety? How often do we accidentally put a hand up to God’s grace to soothe our own idea of holiness? How often do we prevent Christ?
John 1:31 I myself did not know him; but I came baptizing with water for this reason, that he might be revealed to Israel.”
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): They were searching. Baptism is about searching and relationship.
Dr. Rivkah Lambert Adler (13 Jan 20): Thanks to Heavy Rains: Ritual Baths for Temple now Fully Functional for First Time in 2,000 Years
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): This is not the sermon I prepared. I bless you into the baptism of the Lord, not John’s baptism, but for the people to stand for the gospel and share!
Johnny Enlow: We have two ditches to avoid. On one side of the road is the ditch of “in the millennium – one day God – after the rapture” perspective. That is a disempowering ditch that is the “old guard’s” territory-ceding narrative. David’s older brother, Eliab, was never going to be a part of anything other than fearful survivorship. His Kingdom footprint was always going to be small.
Ben Lim: Angels are around me and the glory of the Lord is my rear guard (Psalm 91). The Lord protects me and His angels will not allow my feet to slip. I release angels to watch over my loved ones and belongings.
Johnny Enlow: The ditch on the other side of the road is self-determinism and self-empowerment. It says, “God is not going to do anything and so WE had better unite and do what needs to be done because that is how God does things.” This is just as dangerous of a ditch and it is delusional “self- empowerment.”
John Edgerton (15 Jan 20): We as Christians follow someone very different. We follow Christ who healed without cost, who resisted renown, who taught in riddles so that those who heard him could work out for themselves the right way to go.
Johnny Enlow: Many proponents of 7 Mountains perspectives tend toward this approach as the cure to the other ditch – but it is just another ditch. Neither Caleb nor David were mighty because they sufficiently believed in themselves, or even in Israel’s ability to unite and defeat the enemy. Their gifting was in SEEING GOD and His accompanying story-line – not in their Type A, self-deterministic personality, which tends toward orphan-like thinking, where you are relying totally on yourself.
Dr. Gregory Popcak (10 Jan 20): Her experience, of course, is not uncommon. Many of us, myself included, struggle with scrupulosity now and again. A spiritual cousin to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, scrupulosity is the act of believing our own holiness is entirely our own responsibility. It’s the religious version of saying, “pull yourself up by your own bootstraps,” and it insidiously encourages us to postpone or dismiss God’s grace in favor of handling it on our own. “Don’t come in yet!” scrupulosity calls to Christ, “The room is too messy for you to see and I want to clean it up first.” What scrupulosity doesn’t say, however, is that the room will never be clean enough, never be good enough, for it to let Christ in voluntarily.
Anna Blake (13 Jan 20): Second Cup
Second cup of coffee while waiting for
light, a second cup while waiting to head
out. The horses have thick coats and long
hair on their legs. They will still have hay
from the late feed, they need nothing.
This is their time. Wait. Let them have
the night. Boots over heavy socks, the
last sip cold in the cup. Just a bit longer,
until the sun cracks the sky to a lavender
blue, long pink clouds stretch from the
east to the west. With my jacket collar
up, fingers deep into my gloves, the chain
on the metal yard gate rattles and clangs
behind me, as an owl on broad wings silently
coasts across my field, going to rest in the
elm by the pond. Night surrendered for day.
Johnny Enlow: When you are SEEING properly (20/20 vision), everyone is in perspective – you, the enemy, and God. YOU have participation. The enemy is the least important detail, but his comparative size TO US is designed to shock us out of “self-help” into a search for God. The God-view is the most important. He is neither absent nor totally accomplishing everything without you. He fights your battles, but responsive obedience that shows you see Him is required. Without Him you can do nothing. With Him all things are possible.
Ben Lim: I am Your watchman, oh Lord. Help me to pray Your assignments and pray until something happens! Anoint me with the gift and oil of intercession. I will pray the prayers of Jesus. “Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
Dr. Gregory Popcak (10 Jan 20): And what does He ask to facilitate this great gift? Only that we let Him into the “room of our hearts”. Only that we, as it was in John’s case, allow Him into the baptismal pool of our own souls. The bad news is, this may be difficult for those of us who really struggle with scrupulosity. The good news is, though, that giving our messy “yes” to Christ – however difficult it may be – is a literal hell of a lot less difficult than trying to save our own souls by our own means.
Psalm 40:8 I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”
David Parsons, ICEJ (10 Jan 20): The Israeli Pattern
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): I mean, many write to us and, in one way or another, they are expecting our president to act as if he is the Pastor in Chief of the United States. This is NOT the will of God and those words and those thoughts are NOT COMING FROM GOD. President Trump is not our Pastor in Chief. That role belongs to the Good Shepherd Himself, Jesus Christ.
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): JUSTICE IN THE WHITEHOUSE HAPPENS AT THE SAME TIME JUSTICE IN EVERY AREA OF LIFE HAPPENS WORLDWIDE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Isaiah 49:7 Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One, to one deeply despised, abhorred by the nations, the slave of rulers, “Kings shall see and stand up, princes, and they shall prostrate themselves, because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”
Kevin Zadai: This last move is for God’s own children; those who love Him.
Lou Engle (15 Jan 20): It’s time for God to reveal a love for this generation that is stronger than death itself. A flame that is stronger than the flames of a lust-fueled culture.
Johnny Enlow: The reason 2010-2020 has been a decade with an emphasis on SEEING is because that is the entire key to victory. Battles are won and lost at the point of observance – not at the point of engagement. Caleb saw God as supreme and the giants as “bread for us.” Once you SEE God in the equation, the enemy ALWAYS seems smaller.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: An article on Patheos, a website for wide-ranging discussions about religion, criticized CBN for supporting Trump, who they describe “pretty much the living embodiment of the exact opposite of all of [the] teachings in the Bible.”
Patheos (11 Jan 20): Do You Get In God’s Way?
Brat: Wasn’t God basically asking the same thing of Thyatira?
Revelation 2:21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): ALL WHO ONCE WERE GENUINELY DECEIVED HAVE JUST LOST ALL OF THEIR RESPECT FOR THE FRAUDS ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO PARADE MY NAME WITH A FALSE SENSE OF JUSTICE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: The article in Patheos goes on to slam CBN’s critique of Disney with a strangely pro-witchcraft primer on how to become a real practitioner of the dark arts.
David Parsons, ICEJ (10 Jan 20): Israel’s Laser Breakthrough:
Isaiah 49:3 And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): THE ENEMIES OF GOD AND MY REMNANT HAVE JUST BEEN BROKEN BEYOND REPAIR IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Brat: What if Religion is the pimple on the earth that is causing the sideways puss to squirt in so many random directions as it gets squeezed?
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (14 Jan 20): ISIS Calls for ‘Fire Jihad’ During Deadly Australian Wild Fires
Brat (08 Jan 20): I’m not making this up! Earthquakes in Puerto Rico. Floods in Jakarta. Lana lives in Australia and Australia is literally being consumed by brushfires. God’s word is manifesting truth. I didn’t pray for this to happen. Sophia, Jo, and I have been praying for miraculous rain to bless and heal Australia and our world.
Joni Ames: Some of the areas they were being sent to had been devastated through natural events. In some spots there were wars going on. Other places had been passed over many times before now because they were so small that others considered them too insignificant to go to; but they are not insignificant to the Lord. God’s Word still stands. He is sending His harvesters into the highways and byways to bring them in.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (14 Jan 20): The posters were released while wildfires were raging in California. No connection was found between the catastrophic blaze and terrorism.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): There is going to be mighty demonstrations of the justice and dealings of the Lord against those who stand against the Lord and breed injustice. There will be a mighty demonstration of His power and His justice that will usher in the greatest demonstration of the fear of God that has ever been seen. The Lord is going to demonstrate His power that no one stands against the Lord Almighty. He is the God of life, the God of justice, the God of hope, the God of freedom and He is the God who is the defender.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (14 Jan 20): At least three more propaganda posters, some depicting American firefighters battling blazes, appeared urging followers to “ignite fires in the forests of America, France, Britain, and Germany, for they are painful to them.”
Brat: This is a mockery and God will not stand for it!
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (14 Jan 20): In an article published in the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization magazine ‘Inspire’, Anwar al-Awlaki, a Yemeni-American imam who U.S. government officials alleged was a senior recruiter and motivator for Al Qaeda, preached that it was a religious imperative to wage jihad by any means at hand.
Pastor Tom Demaree (07 Jan 20): Right this very moment, our President is determining how America will respond to tonight’s missile-strike by Iran. Many are saying this is the most consequential decision of his Administration, but far more significantly, this precise moment in history presents a pivotal opportunity for Americans to come together in unity.
Brat (in “Holy Name of Jesus” 30 Dec 19): In Revelation 20 God says Satan gathers them for battle by deception.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: “The war will begin with Rome against Persia, that is to say, the U.S and its allies against Iran and its allies. None of the nations will be exempt from the War of Gog and Magog but God will also enter the fray,” Ovadia said. “It is prophesied that in the end-of-days, nations will…
Brat (13 Jan 20): Wait! Don’t rush past that! This shows the word fulfilled.
David Parsons, ICEJ (10 Jan 20): In any event, as Israelis prepare for the Sabbath this Friday evening, they can take comfort from the proverbial “dog that didn’t bark” as the dire predictions of imminent catastrophe made by so many “experts” in the wake of last Friday’s assassination of Iran’s most famous terrorist leader did not come to pass.
Brat (in “Thang Is” 10 Jan 20): God says…
Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD, that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to idols.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): War got averted.
Isaiah 49:5 And now the LORD says, who formed me in the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him, and that Israel might be gathered to him, for I am honored in the sight of the LORD, and my God has become my strength-
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (16 Jan 20): To this G-d answers, Ehiyeh Asher Ehiyeh. I will be what I will be. Meaning to say, I was, and shall continue to be with you in this exile, just as I shall be with you in your later exiles. I am not ignoring you during your exiles. I feel your suffering and suffer with you.
Psalm 40:7 Then I said, “Here I am; in the scroll of the book it is written of me.
Lou Engle (15 Jan 20): I’m believing that the Church will raise up a wailing wall of loving prayer for those longing for freedom. We are encouraging those who are crying for freedom and believe for a personal breakthrough to come. I’m crying for greater victory in areas of my own personal life.
Thomas Griffin: One evening I needed to get some things for the studio from Home Depot. I grabbed the keys and walked out the door when all of a sudden I heard a high pitched scream from inside. Israel was going hysterical. Apparently, I promised him that the next time I took a car trip I would take him with me. He thought I was leaving without him. Through the walls of our home I could hear “Daddy don’t forget me!” screamed through sobbing tears. My heart broke.
Revelation 5:4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (16 Jan 20): Jews Don’t Get Stuck! (Shemot 5780)
Johnny Enlow: These all presently occupy the “Promised Land” of the tops of the 7 Mountains – Media, Economy, Government, Education, Family, Arts and Entertainment, and Religion. We will not enter “Promised Land” territory by studying and trying to dismantle the evil occupiers. We will enter the “Promised Land” of the 7 Mountains of cities and nations by studying and “mantling” ourselves with who God is in each Mountain. The difference between the two approaches is enormous and the absolute “game-changer.”
Kevin Zadai: We have encountered His visitation and the Spirit of revelation. When these have come into full manifestation, we will encounter the fullness of the Father’s glory, which is God’s habitation. In the final phase, God will not only visit us but will decide to stay with us in full manifestation as mighty miracles occur because of Father God’s glory.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (16 Jan 20): Once, the Bais Avraham of chassidut Slonim visited Israel and Tsfat on Shabbat parshat Shemot in the year 5289 (91 years ago). There was a meal for the Chassidic community and afterwards, when he retired to his rooms, the more prominent chassidim were invited to join him. At one point during this gathering, the Rebbe’s face started to shine like fire and the “honor of G-d” filled the house. Spiritual power was tangible! He began speaking in an incredibly loud voice and said, “Moshe asks what name shall I tell them? And G-d answers, ‘I will be that I will be’. What was the secret that G-d was revealing to Moshe? Tell the Jewish people, ‘I will be’ – I am with every single Jewish person and dwell upon him or her. Even if he or she is full, through and through, with sins and wrongdoings, even if he or she just says, ‘I regret the past and from now on I will be good, then ‘I will be’, G-d says about Himself, I will return and be with him. And so I will be again and again, every single time someone calls to Me, I will hear his voice because I want My people to do teshuvah, to return to Me’.
Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry.
Brat: I confess that by the Church Institution’s own rules, an Anchoress answers to the bishop and this is what I have done.
Matthew 23: 3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.
Charisma (17 Jan 20): What’s in it for God?
Brat to Bishop Suffragan Diane Jardine on her Facebook page (14 Jan 20): Last Sunday Bishop Samuel Azariah commissioned us at St Patrick’s in Thousand Oaks [California] into the baptism of the Lord; to stand for the gospel and to share. We have done as he said.
“Thang Is”: https://truthinus.wordpress.com/2020/01/13/thang-is-10-jan-20/
[Received SILENCE.]
Isaiah 49:4 But I said, “I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my cause is with the LORD, and my reward with my God.”
Bishop Suffragan Diane Jardine (Jan 2020): These Wise Ones trusted a star and a dream. For me these Wise Ones, along with the shepherds and angels were the first to come out and be “of service” to Jesus. Indeed, the subjects of a King were known as the King’s servants. They knelt down – these learned ones who brought gifts knelt in front of Jesus to pay homage to this King. They came to see and to serve. They served by offering what they had. They served by NOT going back to tell Herod that they found the King.
Isaiah 49:6 he says, “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the survivors of Israel; I will give you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”
David Parsons, ICEJ (10 Jan 20): Many in Israel’s strategic community took note of all these developments and even some of the usually dovish voices among them expressed concern at the odd behavior of their colleagues in the US and Western Europe.
Kevin Zadai: The glory of the Father will be revealed because of His Love.
Chuck Pierce: We have now crossed into an era of Kingdom advancing and the apostolic church moving into a new dimension. Just like the Spirit of God revealed to the Apostle John in Revelation 4, the Lord is telling us that we must hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. Now is the time to go beyond how we presently see the Church and allow the Lord to reveal another era to us.

Owl House 14 Jan 20

17 Jan

Working Dates: Tuesday, January 14, 2020 to Friday, January 17, 2020
[8 pages]
Johnny Enlow: I have been in much earnest prayer for the beginning of the year word for 2020. There is a lot going on, and it becomes a personal challenge to only report what God says to report on. It has always been most important to receive reporting directives from the Lord, as His truth often omits seemingly important realities.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: A new Disney animated television series released by Disney Television Animation on Friday has many parents concerned that the House that Mickey Mouse Built has transitioned into giving children a bizarre pro-demon and witchcraft message.
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): THE WICKED WENT AGAINST MY ANOINTED AND NOW THEY HAVE BEEN EXPOSED IN THEIR OWN ACTS OF WICKEDNESS IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Johnny Enlow: “The mirth of the wicked is brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a moment…THE HEAVENS WILL EXPOSE HIS GUILT; the earth will rise up against him.” (Job 20:5, 27, emphasis mine)
Brat: Here, we see the spiritual child at Disney playing with the adder. Heaven IS exposing his guilt, and we in the earth rise up to say NO! Do not pollute our children with spells and everything not of God! This is not a company issue or entertainment issue. It is a PURITY issue! God, take down this mountain! No wonder Mt Sinai had snow on it!
Sophia Valentina Buller (24 Dec 19): THE SLEEPWALK-LIKE STATE SPELL HAS BEEN BROKEN IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Isaiah 49:2 He made my mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow, in his quiver he hid me away.
Johnny Enlow: Some have said that David is Jesus, and we win when HE returns. Jesus has said WE are David and we win when WE RISE UP in HIS strength.
Anthony Medina: I saw many men’s gatherings happening around the nation, some very large, that were not filled with entertainment but with deep worship, inner healing and mass deliverance. There are men that God has raised up in this hour that have not been seen or heard from yet because He has kept them hidden. They are marked by prayer and consecration. They were clothed in meekness and gentleness, praise emanates from their lips.
Phiwa Langeni: Prayer
Let praise be the only password we need, Protecting God. Unlock our fears and tendencies to shut out the vibrant beauty you’ve installed within and all around us. Amen.
John Edgerton (15 Jan 20): When you finish reading this devotional, you’ll head back out into the rest of the internet. There you’ll encounter every manner of screaming, all-caps, blood-and-guts imagery crying out for you to follow. Be mindful of where they lead, and remember Who you follow.
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): FALSE WITNESSES HAVE BEEN HUNTED BY THEIR OWN ATTACKS THEY LAUNCHED IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: “Folks, if you think this latest ‘Owl House’ show is just ‘fantasy and fun,’ think again,” CBN wrote. “Over the years, Disney has gone farther and farther into the darkness of the spiritual world that opposes the living God, coming up with programming and characters that lead the vulnerable into that dark world of deception.”
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): Our government, in many corners, is absolutely paying attention to what God is saying through His prophets.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Now Torah Sages are at a higher level than prophets at all times. Ruach HaKodesh [lower level prophetic spirit] sometimes rests on a prophet and sometimes not, whereas Ruach HaKodesh never leaves Torah Sages, even for one moment. They know what is going on in the spiritual worlds and in the physical world but either don’t [wish or see a need to] reveal what they know.
Simcha-Shmuel Treister: This is as opposed to a prophet who is duty bound to reveal his prophecy.
Ben Lim: I attract the friends of God. I attract the true sent ones and servants of the Lord. I will root and plant myself in a true Acts community of Bible-believing, Spirit-filled disciples. “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers” (Psalm 1:1).
Charisma (13 Jan 20): What do you do with your time?
Anna Blake (10 Jan 20): Expecting New Year’s resolutions from me? Nope, I’m not the type. I am so thrilled to have survived another year that I’m holding on for all I’m worth. Not giving up anything. Running like the devil is on my tail. I even get windburn when I’m typing at the computer. That’s when it happened.
Kevin Zadai: Enter the Glory By Waiting on God
John Edgerton (15 Jan 20): Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. A large crowd followed him, and he healed all who were ill. He warned them not to tell others about him. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “… He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.” – Matthew 12:15-21 (NIV)
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): Why am I telling you this?
Thomas Griffin: I sent word inside that I would wait for him and that I wouldn’t leave without him. It took a while for him to get dressed but I didn’t care. The crying subsided and although mom had a few things for him to do before he left, he trusted that I would be there waiting for him.
1 Corinthians 1:7 so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Dr. Gregory Popcak (10 Jan 20): In times like these, Christ says to us what He said to John: “Allow it now.” The words, simple as they are unyielding, demand a fundamental change in perspective. Christ is not content to wait outside while we clean up the room “enough” for Him to come in. No, Christ plans to come into the room and clean it up for us, clean it up with us, and to do so with His love.
Anthony Medina: In prayer recently, I heard the Lord say that 2020 was the time of the great exchange. In my asking, He elaborated further: “2020 will be the year where many pastors and leaders will walk away from the church to pursue the true dream of God on their hearts, which is in media and the marketplace. They will walk away from the church positions that they were good at, but not made for, and fully into where they are called to be. Many of these leaders have counted the cost in private, the cost of ridicule, rejection and reproach from the church because they are leaving ‘the ministry.’ The reality is that they will be stepping into their greatest ministry efforts as they shift into these old assignments that they are now taking hold of.”
Rick Joyner (14 Jan 20): There is one thing we can do to turn the nation from the wicked ways that are leading to our destruction—obey the commandment to “Honor your fathers and mothers.” This is the only commandment God gave with a promise attached: that it would go well with us and we would dwell long in the land. It guarantees this because it reconnects us to the roots from which our life comes.
Brat: And the celibate Anchoress in your midst?
Psalm 40:11 Do not, O LORD, withhold your mercy from me; let your steadfast love and your faithfulness keep me safe forever.
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): THOSE WHO USED THE COMMANDMENTS AS AN EXCUSE TO ABUSE AND OPPRESS MY HOLY PRECIOUS SPOTLESS CHILDREN HAVE JUST LOST EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE THEY HOLD DEAR IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
James W. Goll: We will See a Shift from the “Come Here” mentality to the “Go Therefore” mandate.
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): And remember that the Word of God says that when you “Receive a prophet in the name of a prophet” you WILL RECEIVE “A prophet’s reward” which is important revelation THAT YOU NEED – for yourself, for your business and for your family. God, who sees all, will reward you with revelation in this coming year when He sees you receiving His prophets!
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Rabbi Aba said that if it wasn’t for Torah Sages Torah scholars, mankind wouldn’t be able to appreciate the Torah. They wouldn’t know what are the commandments of He Who rules the world. If mankind didn’t have this knowledge, then there would be no difference between the spirit of man and the spirit of animals.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (14 Jan 20): Pyroterror is familiar to Israelis. As part of the ongoing Hamas-led March of Return riots that began in March 2018, terrorists launched balloons and kites loaded with incendiary devices. The devices succeeded in burning more than 9,000 acres of farmland and nature preserves in southern Israel. Arson attacks are relatively cheap, easy, risk-free and difficult to counter.
Lana Vawser: Do not bow to ‘natural realm’ expectations. “This is just what happens as you get older”. Live higher! Align yourself with what God is saying, for the power of God is going to be demonstrated in and through your life by the supernatural empowerment coming upon you in this new era. You may be older in age, but you are about to take your place in the next step of your destiny in the earth as you stay close to Him and His heart and listening to His voice.
Anna Blake (10 Jan 20): Just my annual check-up. Don’t you hate it when women of a certain age talk about their health issues? Me, too, even to a physician’s assistant. It’s an off year for the pelvic, so it starts on a high note. I need a mammogram which reminds me of my biggest fantasy fear; that I sneeze. You’re welcome. I don’t lie about my foot; it’s undeniably creepy and she pokes at it like a cadaver in a lab. We talk about my chronic thing which, predictably, remains chronic.
House of Destiny (10 Jan 20): As In The Days Of Noah – The Tower Of Babel
John Edgerton (15 Jan 20): Have you noticed this? How news headlines casually include over-the-top violent imagery? This kind of writing is hyperbole intended to agitate our already inflamed emotions and rub the already raw places in our spirits. This isn’t a right versus left thing. This imagery is everywhere.
Lou Engle (15 Jan 20): America is in a midnight hour. All of us, the Church included, need great freedom. We need an encounter with God, a great revival, if you will. I believe God will answer the fasting prayers of His people – mothers and fathers who are crying out for their sons and daughters salvation and freedom; those struggling with pornography, premarital sex, adultery, homosexuality; those with diseases and chronic pain.
Brat (14 Jan 20): And how long have the prophets been announcing the fall (and rise) of “Holy-wood”?
Shara Chalmers (07 Jan 20): “Jesus is King!” will ring from the radios to billboards to rooftops, as God has raised Kanye West up as a first fruit of Hollywood becoming “Holy-wood.” Bible movies will trend throughout the year. The revival among the Jews in Hollywood will impact the Jews in Israel, as media becomes a main sickle for the end-time harvest. Christians will look to media for a highway/byway revival. Reality TV shows will be used for the Gospel, and watch the Lord visit Kim Kardashian in the next 12 months.
Revelation 2:20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
Lou Engle: “Freedom! You Said You Would Deliver Us”
Sophia Valentina Buller (24 Dec 19): I HAVE DEALT WITH MANIPULATION AND WITCHCRAFT AND THROWN THOSE WICKED SPIRITS INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE THAT JEZEBEL WAS THROWN IN AS WELL – IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
John Edgerton (15 Jan 20): Headlines like this sell. People follow these links and follow where this kind of language leads, deeper into realms of division and violence against the vulnerable.
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): PEOPLE ARE REPULSED BY THOSE WHO USED MY HOLY COMMANDMENTS AS AN EXCUSE TO ABUSE OTHERS IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Thomas Griffin: Because I said so…
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): While at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. last February, I was able to personally meet with a former Governor and Senator. He had one question for me because he is already a long-term follower of Elijah List Ministries.
Donna Schaper (16 Jan 20): Welcoming Questions
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): He said, “Steve, my one question is, which of your prophets do you follow the most closely?” I happily promised him I would prepare an extensive list of respected prophets for him and a few days later, I emailed that list straight to him personally. A second former governor asked for a copy of that same list.
Brat: Did you share Revelation 2 and 3 as God’s blueprint?
Cindy Jacobs: The second thing the Lord said to me was, “How do you deal with a bully?” Well, you stand up to a bully. I want to assure you that God has been involved in this difficult time. We are going to see some interesting things happen that only God could pull together.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: “I am always trying to push them to go a little bit darker and weirder because I find that stuff fun,” Terrace told Newsweek. “There is sometimes a concern with family networks for what is considered family-friendly…because Disney is such a big company that in certain corners, they say that maybe they don’t want to take those risks,” Hirsch said. “Walt Disney took those risks, and that’s why we are sitting in this building. You have to remind yourself that Disney is the full spectrum of emotions, creatures and scary things.”
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): THOSE WHO WICKEDLY THINK THEY HAVE ANY RIGHT TO YOU BECAUSE OF FAMILY RELATION HAVE JUST BEEN SERVED ALL THE WRATH THEY HAVE SOWN THROUGH ALL THEIR OWN INJUSTICE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Lana Vawser (10 Jan 20): Stand up against this intimidation, stand up and press in and press through. Do not give in, give way, yield or bend under the pressure. Continue to stand in and do what the Lord has called you to do.
Brat: Stop gaslighting her!
John Edgerton (15 Jan 20): Bruised, Broken, Smoldering, Snuffed Out
Brat (in “Thang Is” 10 Jan 20): To me this feels like more gaslighting in the name of Jesus, whether or not you intended that, dear Professor. Maybe you were used by your bishop as a pawn on the cosmic chessboard. All his office would have to do is assign you that week’s lectionary readings, send you my blog link, and have you arc speak a response out from the last thing I wrote. His office keeps the conversation going without ever having to acknowledge my contribution or existence. His team hasn’t had this much fun since grammar school when the teacher gave them five words and told them to build a story from it. They don’t have to put the Teachings into practice, because they are the top echelon. They already paid their dues to get where they are. But even Hebrew National hotdogs answer to a Higher Authority. Gaslighting, stonewalling, and being treated as if one does not exist and then still exploiting them is the worst torture imaginable. We are not to snuff the Holy Spirit.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): It is a simple message, but theologians have confused it.
Verse of the Day (15 Jan 20): [ Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are ] To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ~ John 8:31-32 NIV
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: Let no one be found among you who consigns his son or daughter to the fire, or who is an augur, a soothsayer, a diviner, a sorcerer, one who casts spells, or one who consults ghosts or familiar spirits, or one who inquires of the dead. ~Deuteronomy 18:10-11
Phiwa Langeni: Blessed, indeed, are the people who’ve wised up to only having to know one password. This Password Manager shifts our energies from fear to delight, knowing that one password of praise relies on trusting God to protect them from countless vulnerabilities. That one password relieves the pressure of thinking they can do it on their own. “They can’t keep it quiet!” Their very lives become the best review ever given as they praisefully live out the vibrant beauty they can access within them.
Brat: Pleeeaaase…
Monk: Isn’t that the “magic” word?
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): It’s easy to believe and know that virtually every Believer in Jesus holds the view that God wants to transform every life where freedom is missing!
Lana Vawser: The sense surrounded me of age just being a number. The enemy is attempting to lie to many and intimidate with his lying whispers “you’re too old”, “look at your body, you are not strong anymore”.
Anna Blake (10 Jan 20): Did I mention I turned sixty-five last fall? It’s my first Medicare appointment so they gave me a blood draw, a couple of shots for old people, and an eye test with my glasses on, which I failed because I had to cover one eye but when put my hand under my glasses, I poked myself. The nurse walks the distance from the eyechart down the hallway to me to demonstrate that I can just cup my hand over my glasses.
Johnny Enlow: Similarly, today the 7 Mountain Reformation message is under assault by the “older brothers” (old wineskins/denominations) who want to chase us all back to just watching our “few little sheep” – even as they give up more time and more territory to the Goliath criminals on each of the 7 Mountains or Spheres.
Steve Shultz (15 Jan 20): As odd as it may seem, many people in the Body of Christ are completely missing the Voice and the direction of God about our President, Donald J. Trump.
Lana Vawser: DO NOT bow to those lies! REBUKE them, for the Lord’s mighty hand is coming upon you to heal your body, infuse you with supernatural empowerment and strength like you have never experienced before to run in all God has for you. He is going to supernaturally renew strength, your youth and vitality.
Ben Lim: I will be fully equipped by the grace of the Lord and I will be a deadly weapon and instrument of righteousness in the hands of our God.
Lou Engle (15 Jan 20): I began to ponder that the bills being passed by our government restricting religious freedom are not primarily because we have not engaged in the political issue, but because the Church has been powerless to bring healing and hope for those yearning for freedom. I felt the rebuke of the Lord. We have not loved, we have not fasted, and we have not delivered.
Joni Ames (15 Jan 20): I saw and heard a huge shofar in the sky above the darkness of land. The trumpet of the Lord is being sounded over the areas of harvest, even now. Those who are bringing it in and those who are being brought in will both hear it.
Faith Token (11 Jan 20): Watch “SHOFAR CALL! Malignant Astronomical Alignment Jan 13, 2020!” on YouTube [https://youtu.be/lKN_eO5MR9Y]
Johnny Enlow: The 10 spies thought it important to report on the astronomical challenges they assumed the giants in the land would present to the children of Israel. Caleb thought it best to report only on the “milk and honey” of Canaan, totally minimizing the giants in the land, except to say of them, “They are bread for us.” Forty years later, he was proven to be right – the oversized enemies, though theoretically daunting, ended up being just a forgettable “snack.” The God-ordained circumcision Israel had to experience after crossing the Jordan River ended up being a much more significant event than the totality of resistance of all the giants.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Rabbi Yitzchak said that when G d brings a final judgement down against a nation, He first judges the spiritual guardian of that nation in the higher worlds as it is written: “The Lord shall punish the spiritual army on high and then the kings of the earth upon the earth.” (Isaiah 24:21) And what is the judgement that this spiritual guardian undergoes in the spiritual world? They take him to that river Dinor that issues and flows from the sefira of malchut and immediately remove his kingdom from him. Then it is immediately announced that the kingdom of that particular Guardian has been removed from him.
Brat: That sounds a lot like baptism!
Sophia Valentina Buller (10 Jan 20): I HAVE JUDGED THE WICKED IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Brat (in “Kneeling” 18 Dec 19): I looked at my aging hands under the light of the streetlamp as the wordless sound of a huge owl lifted off a tree branch overhead as his wings pounded the breeze between storms: whoosh…whoosh…
[That was a month ago. It felt prophetic at the time…]
Breaking Israel News (12 Jan 20): Sanhedrin Meets With Representative of ‘Ten Lost Tribes’: Launches Efforts to Return them to Israel
Anthony Medina: Yes, their walk will be new, and they will mess up at times, but God’s intended purpose is to use them to reach a generation of youth that are discipled more by YouTube than the church. These influencers will be heralds of the goodness and reality of Jesus. There are people in youth groups all across the nation that have been secretly praying for these influencers, asking the Lord to save and heal them. The Lord is responding to the prayers of the saints.
Thomas Griffin: He is here awaiting fellowship with you. Come in the confidence that in being born again into His generation (family), we have unobstructed access to our creator and savior through the shed blood of Jesus our Christ!

Thang Is 10 Jan 20

13 Jan

Working Dates: Wednesday, January 8, 2020 to Monday, January 13, 2020
[10 pages]
Acts 10:34 Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality
Kaji Douša: Now think about how we handle this assessment culturally. We are surrounded by messages that tell us we will be happier if we accumulate things. It’s the basic message of consumer culture. We may hope for a thing that, should we have it, will make us happy.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): Was Soleimani Found Wearing the Ring of Haman?
Isaiah 30:2 who go down to Egypt
without consulting me;
who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection,
to Egypt’s shade for refuge.
Katie Barker (30 Dec 19): I then saw a huge chessboard and I knew the board represented the lives of God’s people. I saw pieces on the chessboard being strategically moved into position by the Lord. He was showing me that He is aligning and moving things in the lives of His people in this time of alignment, and this is unlocking and releasing them.
Kaji Douša: We may be culturally conditioned to shape our lives around shiny things. But God calls us to shape our lives around greater gifts. God’s gifts.
Acts 10:35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
Michael Toy: That’s the good news. That’s the best news. The problem is that many of us act like the zombie ants. We think we’re already dead. Like the exiles, like the excluded gentiles, and like John the Baptizer, we doubt our place in God’s kingdom. There are those voices all around us– the little voices, the loud voices, external, and internal that all say in some way, “You’re not good enough. You’re faking it. You’re not worthy. You don’t belong.” And like the ants, we drag ourselves off to the graveyard with the dead ants, letting the glow of the light and life and love of God fade. To the Jewish exiles, there certainly must have been the voice, “You messed up. God is no longer on your side.” Even John the Baptist doubted his worth and ministry. John hesitated, telling Jesus he got it wrong, and that Jesus should be the one baptizing John.
Brat: To me this feels like more gaslighting in the name of Jesus, whether or not you intended that, dear Professor.
Sophia Valentina Buller (09 Jan 20): Chess is strangely prophetic
James Eade: “The most powerful piece is the queen. A piece’s power is directly related to its mobility and the queen is most mobile. Although the queen is the most powerful piece, she must be very careful when engaging enemy forces because she is so valuable. If rooks or minor pieces attack her, she’s often forced to retreat or be lost. Treat the lady with kid gloves!” (p 29)
Sophia Valentina Buller (09 Jan 20): The church is God’s queen as His beloved
https://www.chess.com/article/view/how-to-set-up-a-chessboard
Rick Joyner: If even one of The Lord’s little ones is slimed by our behavior and caused to stumble, then remember that The Lord Himself said it would be better not to be born than to do this to even one of His children. Is something we’re doing something we would tolerate being done to one of our own children?
Brat: Bishop takes pawn. Knight takes bishop. Who is protecting the queen?
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): St Patrick’s, keep your love! You are doing it well.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Come and see. If Israel would only amass good deeds before G d, no people in the world would ever come against them. For it is the Jewish People who cause the nations to raise their head [in arrogance], for had the Jewish People not sinned before G d, the other nations would have been humbled before them.
Acts 10:36 You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ–he is Lord of all.
Rick Joyner: I confess that when I learned what had been done to some of God’s people, especially those young in The Lord, I thought that torture was too easy for the those who had done this. I am thankful that The Lord had mercy on me and stopped me from going the way my heart was going. I can understand the anger, but we can’t go there—it can be an even more deadly trap than the sin we are so disgusted by.
Acts 10:37 That message spread throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John announced
Brat (8 Jan 20): Dear Fr George, I pray this is direct enough. God is leading us into a corporate baptism this week. KC Robertson is getting “baptized” into her new pastoral ministry. St Patrick’s has received a special impartation of the Holy Spirit like Bethlehem had. And the bishop is coming this Sunday (12 Jan 20). A visitation also carries opportunity and not just to fulfill obligation or ritual.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): God is here at St Patrick’s, not just somewhere. Let His name be glorified!
Verse of the Day (13 Jan 20): …that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 NIV
Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 9:45 am Journal: …The bishop kept drawing us back to the words we were reciting to keep our hearts connecting to our words. Truly, God was present at St Patrick’s.
James Eade: “The bishop also has a unique natural restriction of its mobility. If it starts on a light square, it remains forever on the light squares, and if it begins the game on a dark square, it must always stay on dark squares. The bishop is color-bound by birth! Fully half the board is forbidden territory! For that reason, chess people speak of having “two bishops.” In tandem, bishops can theoretically cover the entire board. However, they can never come to their comrade’s aid directly, and bishops on the same team can never compensate for each other’s loss.” (p 27)
Michael Toy: Moving to the New Testament text, Peter is preaching to the centurion Cornelius in the Acts of the Apostles. According to custom and law, Jewish people were not allowed to enter the houses of gentiles. But God sent a vision to Peter of unclean animals and said, “What God has cleansed, do not call unclean.” Now, Peter preaches to Cornelius’ household about the ministry of Jesus: “They put him to death by hanging him on a tree; but God raised him on the third day and allowed him to appear.” This is restoration and renewal. This is radical inclusion. There is no human outside the reach of God’s love. Jesus died and rose again for all to be gathered unto God – not only the Jews but also those of every nation. Isaiah’s prophecy is fulfilled in Christ.
Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
Rick Joyner: With the exception of six chapters in The Bible, all of the others are devoted to restoring mankind from the consequences of the Fall, from sin. The atonement sacrifice of Jesus fully accomplished this. No sin, with the exception of blaspheming The Holy Spirit, is beyond the power of the cross to fully redeem and fully restore. For this reason, we must keep in mind that as deep as the evil one has gotten into a person’s life, that is how deep The Lord can fill them when they have been restored. He likes to show His strength in weakness.
Lana Vawser: The Lord spoke to me that also in the release of prophetic words right now that there are many who are releasing words too quickly so their revelation is only “skimming the surface” of what the Lord is wanting to speak and release. As I heard the Lord speak this I felt the fear of God come over me in the stewardship of prophetic words, that we must be people when releasing the Word of the Lord that we are releasing it in His timing and in His way and not running forth before His release.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): We still have our bad years.
Shmuel-Simcha Treister: The forces of evil are empowered by the divine abundance that should rightfully come to Israel but is displaced by their misdeeds. If not for our transgressions, all the other nations would be subservient to her.
Kaji Douša: Gifts that protect our lives.
Isaiah 30:3 But Pharaoh’s protection will be to your shame,
Egypt’s shade will bring you disgrace.
Rick Joyner: As the Apostle Paul challenged the Corinthians, saying that it was to their shame that they were called to judge angels, but did not have judges that could even decide the temporal matters of this life, but instead had to go to the heathen for justice, this was and continues to be possibly the costliest failure of the church in our time. As we are called to be the light of the world, which implies that we should have answers for the world’s ultimate problems, the church should have such a system of justice that is so esteemed and trustworthy that the world would come to us for justice, instead of Christians having to go to secular courts for it as is the case now.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): We are not honest in our relations.
Isaiah 30:20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): “From the photo, it looks like it’s a carnelian stone — it’s not a ruby; it comes from Africa,” Maykel Rieth, a professional gem cutter told the Post. “The ring is made out of silver. It could be white gold, but it looks like silver — and whoever made a stone like this is not going to put it in gold because it’s not an expensive piece.”
Isaiah 30:22 Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Away with you!”
Ascent of Safed Rabbis: Since the Talmud says, “All Jews bear ultimate responsibility one for the other” (Shavuot 39a); in this way nothing will be missed, no nuance neglected. The lessons needed to be learned will be grasped, and we will always be able to help each other go on a positive path of serving G d.
Isaiah 30:21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): The comparison to Haman was noted by Rabbi Shlomo Aviner, head of the Ateret Kohanim Yeshiva in Jerusalem, who was asked if it is permissible to celebrate the death of Soleimani. The rabbi noted the verse in Proverbs advising against such celebrations.
If your enemy falls, do not exult; If he trips, let your heart not rejoice. Proverbs 24:17
Lillian Daniel: Prayer
Help me see the hard work behind what looks easy for others and give me more patience with myself when the work is hard. Amen.
Rick Joyner: Even so, we can have the best system of justice, but still not have justice if we do not have good, competent people in it. But even with the best intended people it is really hard to have any degree of justice with a bad system, much less virtually none as is the case with the body of Christ at this time.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): Political hypocrisy has always been there.
Brat: And when the Church makes religion and spirituality political?
Katie Barker (30 Dec 19): I then saw a chessboard laid over a map of the world and I could see the Lord was also moving chess pieces on a world scale. He was showing me that this is a strategic time of alignment in the earth, as well as for individuals, and we will see His plans unfold in a greater way in regions and nations.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Had the Jewish People not directed [divine sustenance] to the Other Side by her misdeeds in the Holy Land [Israel], then, as we have learned, foreign powers would never have ruled in the Holy Land, and they would not have been exiled from the Land. This is the meaning of the words “For we have been greatly impoverished”, meaning that we don’t have the proper degree of good deeds, therefore “we are greatly impoverished…” [and so we pray: May] “…Your tender mercies come quickly”.
Michael Toy: And, like the ants that produce both the life chemicals and the death chemicals, those death voices are not going away. But the voice of God, the voice that thunders over the waters, the voice that breaks open the heavens, declares, “This is my Child, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” We just have to listen.
Doug Addison: God is releasing dreams, visions and the spirit of prophecy over you. The spiritual atmosphere is changing, and you will be able to hear God more clearly. This is going to break off discouragement that you might be feeling, as we have been under a battle to hear God and know what to do next. Watch for new joy to come as this starts happening.
Fr George (08 Jan 20): Dear Kathryn,
I’m glad you’ve found your way back to St. Pat’s.
Patricia King: Would you like this? Say, “YES!”
Lillian Daniel: So much of what people do in life is much harder than it looks.
Acts 10:39 We are witnesses to all that he did both in Judea and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree
Rick Joyner: God’s standards of righteousness are under a continuous and seemingly unprecedented assault in our times. We should esteem those who are committed to seeing them upheld in any way, especially in the church. Leaders are required by Scripture to live by much higher standards, and we compromise these at our peril before God and men. So how do we turn this around?
Acts 10:40 but God raised him on the third day and allowed him to appear
Kaji Douša: That new, shiny thing we get? We can delight in it for a time. But it will lose its luster as we get used to having it. And then we look for the next hit.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): “Was an angel ever hit?” Rabbi Aviner asked. “Was an angel ever murdered? Was an angel ever humiliated? We were! The angels did not suffer as we did in Egypt, so they could not sing. But we did suffer — suffered immensely — and therefore during the Exodus from Egypt, Moshe sang. And Miriam and the women also went out with singing and dancing after the Splitting of the Red Sea and the drowning of the Egyptians.”
Isaiah 30:31 The voice of the LORD will shatter Assyria;
with his rod he will strike them down.
Brat: The news says that Syria has been collaborating with Iran on avenging General Qasem Soleimani’s assassination carried out by the United States.
Jewish Journal (06 Jan 20): Killing Soleimani: Is There a Bad Time to Fight Evil?
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): We started off the new decade with hope and suddenly we were facing war. Was our country going back to war?
Sophia (07 Jan 20): Watch “Trump 2020 Prophecy – Kim Clement” on YouTube: https://youtu.be/7T3Y5PBmpUQ
Breaking Israel News (07 Jan 20): Trump Threatens to Hit 52 Targets in Iran: The Hebrew Numerical Equivalent of ‘Magog’
Brat: God says…
Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD, that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to idols.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): War got averted.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): “Thereupon the king removed his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the foe of the Yehudim.” Esther 3:10 (The Israel Bible™)
Isaiah 30:27 See, the Name of the LORD comes from afar,
with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke;
his lips are full of wrath,
and his tongue is a consuming fire.
Michael Toy: “The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is upon the mighty waters.” This Psalm is a song about God’s presence in the storm. When the floodwaters rise, when the fires rage, when the earth quakes, God is still God. God is in the storm and sits “enthroned above the flood.” Floods, fires, and earthquakes are terrifying events. And yet, the Psalmist takes this fear and uses it to ascribe glory to God. Even amid all these events, God is present: “The Lord shall give strength to his people; the Lord shall give his people the blessing of peace.” Even when terrifying events happen all around, God declares peace and blessings to God’s people. A line from Christian Wiman’s poem Every Riven Thing captures this sentiment: “Belonging, to every riven thing he’s [God’s] made, means a storm of peace.”
Breaking Israel News (8 Jan 20): Magnitude 5 Earthquake Near Iran’s Nuclear Facility
Pastor Tom Demaree: IF WE, as the American Church, truly believe “that all things work together for good” and that all governing authorities “are appointed by God,” then, this is not a partisan prayer request, but an intercessory invitation to pray that all Americans rally around a common cause, for our common good. (Romans 8:28, 13:1)
Brat: The thang is…
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): Who were these Wise Men? They were not kings. They were advisors. They were sort of naïve. They were from the east, from Iraq and Iran, where the [civilian] plane was shot down.
Rick Joyner: This panel took a major and important first step. If they only did 10% right it was worth it, but they did much better than that. It could be just what was needed to begin building a truly biblical system of justice for the body of Christ. But getting even the best system will not work if we do not teach biblical justice and train all leaders who are required to be judges in it. Even that is not enough. The most comprehensive biblical system of justice still requires reliance on The Judge for true justice, just as the best, most comprehensive church government requires us to be connected to The Head, not just a system or apparatus.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): Haman was, like Soleimani, an evil underling in the Persian Empire, both dedicated to killing Jews. Like Haman’s evil actions resulted in the deaths of his ten sons, ten people were killed in the drone strike that eliminated Soleimani
Brat: I wonder if God is also saying that He is finally holding accountable the corrupt sons of Eli in the Church. I “see” an overlap there.
Rick Joyner: When we were in our sin, Jesus looked down on us and saw all that was wrong with us, His response was to come and lay down His life for us. That is His Spirit, and this should always be our response to those who sin or fail.
Ascent of Safed Rabbis: What was the nature of this gathering? Rabbi Pinchas Shapiro of Koretz, a student as well as a colleague of the Baal Shem Tov, suggested that this gathering can be explained by the Talmudic expression: “Make your ears like a funnel. Strain your ears to hear/listen well to what is being said.” (Tractate Chullin 89a)
Rick Joyner: The Lord had an astonishing mercy for sinners, but He did not have any for the self-righteous. It is far, far better to err on the side of mercy rather than judgment, but we don’t want to err on either side. As the sins of God’s people brings reproach to the name of The Lord, and the sins of highly visible leaders even more so, presently it is the Pharisaical self-righteousness that is most repelling to the world, especially when they see our tendency to condemn our own brothers and sisters that stumble. The Lord even declared to the self-righteous of Israel that Sodom would have it easier than they would in the judgment.
Breaking Israel News (09 Jan 20): Creepy Red ‘Devil Horns’ Sunrise Appears Over Iran Right Before Soleimani’s Death
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: The most immediately noteworthy thing about Kaddish is that even though it is chanted by mourners, it is not a prayer for the dead!
Brat: Whatcha doin’?
Doug Addison: “…Let the prophetic plan of the Holy One of Israel quickly come to pass so that we can see what it is!” (Isaiah 5:19 TPT)
Rick Joyner: As painful as this whole controversy has been, a great victory can come from it. Even the people we may disagree with the most, we must keep in mind that if they are Christians, even if they are the least of The Lord’s people, the way we treat them He will consider it as the way we treat Him. We can be totally right in our assessment of the issues, but be in far worse jeopardy than those who are committing even the most grievous sin, as we are warned in Matthew 18.
Brat: And when there is even more Silence from Church leaders?
Acts 10:41 not to all the people but to us who were chosen by God as witnesses, and who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
Brat (12 Jan 20): I DID take communion from the bishop at St Patrick’s.
Ascent of Safed Rabbis: He explained in the name of his friend and fellow student of the Baal Shem Tov, Rabbi Nachman of Horodenka, that sometimes there is a limit to what can be accomplished by an individual Jew – even through prayer. A Jew’s transgressions simply make it impossible for him to bridge the distance between himself and the Creator. What can be done?
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (10 Jan 20): We have the ability to pass on what is important to our children. Let us bless our children to grow to be the best Jews they can be.
Rick Joyner: In the first part of that chapter [Matthew 18] The Lord states that it would be better to not be born than to cause even one of His little ones to stumble. Then He gives us instructions how to avoid this by going to those in sin personally. Only after that taking another, and only after that has failed should it ever be brought before the church. However, we can follow those instructions exactly but still be a stumbling block if we do this in the wrong spirit.
Matthew 3:14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (10 Jan 20): When you’re visiting Israel, a trip to Tsfat and Ascent is a must. Contact us for details of programs and activities.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Rabbi Yehuda opened his discourse with the verse: “Please don’t hold our previous iniquities in mind against us; let Your tender mercy come quickly to meet us for we have been greatly impoverished.” (Psalms 79:8)
Matthew 3:15 But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now; for it is proper for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented.
TobyMac: “Edge of My Seat” [https://youtu.be/jkG7P_a-a3s]
Pastor Tom Demaree: The last line of our prayer-letter to the Commander in Chief, states, “I pray the Lord will continually increase your wisdom and influence, as you seek Him with all your heart.” Let’s agree that President Trump and his advisors do exactly that—seek the Lord with all their heart.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): They were searching. Baptism is about searching and relationship.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Come and see. Because of the great love that the Holy One Blessed be He has for Israel, no other Heavenly Court judges them other than He Himself. When He looks into their actions to judge them, He is filled with tender mercy, because He is like a father who has mercy on his children.
Ascent of Safed Rabbis: This is the meaning of “Make your ears like a funnel…”: Jews need to learn from the Tribes, the sons of Jacob who gathered together to hear their revered father’s final words, to consolidate their ears together until they become one enormous ear. Such an ear is surely capable of hearing everything.
Acts 10:42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the one ordained by God as judge of the living and the dead.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (10 Jan 20): Yaakov’s life is eternal because he infused his children and their children’s children until the end of all generations with true Jewish values. Values that lead a person to study Torah and fulfill the commandments. Any value sourced in the world is temporal. No matter how real they seem now, in a flash they can change. Values sourced in the Torah are eternal. And it is the same for us as parents. When we infuse our children with Jewish values, we live forever. This is why we describe a Torah lifestyle as “Our life and the length of our days” (from the Maariv prayer). And this is who Yaakov was, as the verse says, “And the testimonies of Yaakov rise and the Torah is established in the Jewish people”.
Psalm 29:1 Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): “This is correct, and yet the Children of Israel did sing!” Rabbi Aviner noted. “How so? This is because we are not angels.”
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: However, if Israel’s sins are brought to His attention again, then those sins that were at first passed over are reviewed again. This is why we pray that G d not “hold our previous iniquities in mind against us.”
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): “But there are enemies and there are Enemies,” Rabbi Aviner said, referring to a section of the Talmud (Sanhedrin 39b and Megillah 10b) that related how God admonished the angels for joining in the celebrations of the Children of Israel upon seeing their tormentors, the Egyptians, drown in the Red Sea.
Riley Clemmons: “Fighting for Me” [https://youtu.be/in1uxSpvsw0]
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): “My handiwork has drowned in the sea and you are singing a song?” God said.
Isaiah 30:32 Every stroke the LORD lays on them
with his punishing club
will be to the music of timbrels and harps,
as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.
Michael Toy: Isaiah 42, part of what scholars call deutero-Isaiah, contains the first of the “Servant songs” and speaks a word of hope–both present and eschatological. “I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness.” In this passage, the prophet writes to God’s people toward the end of the Babylonian exile. The people have strayed from God and been taken into exile, and now the prophet speaks a word of hope into this darkness of exile. Even in the midst of suffering, forcibly taken from their land, God declares God’s people beloved, chosen, and called by name.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): This is not the sermon I prepared. I bless you into the baptism of the Lord, not John’s baptism, but for the people to stand for the gospel and share!
American Friends of Magen David Adom: Please pray. We need believers like you to stand in the gap.
Isaiah 30:19 People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.
Ascent of Safed Rabbis: The distance can be bridged only in one way: by every Jew joining together, hand in hand until this Jewish chain reaches all the way to the Throne of Glory. Then G d surely will not be able to ignore our entreaties.
Bishop Samuel Azariah (12 Jan 20): A King was born to unite the Jews.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (07 Jan 20): Rabbi Aviner concluded by blessing the Jewish people.
“May we be comforted by the building of Jerusalem.”
Acts 10:43 All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

Lana Vawser: Recently I heard the Lord say “Don’t waste water”. When I sought His heart on what He was meaning, He showed me the tidal wave of revelation of His heart that is building and increasing right now in the body of Christ. There is a portal of revelation that has opened releasing the strategies and wisdom of God that is unlike anything we have ever seen. There is an invitation right now upon the Church to seek His face and hear His heart and know Him deeper than we have ever known Him before.
Doug Addison: “‘Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’ God’s Decree. ‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once – and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.'” (Amos 9:13 MSG)
Rick Joyner: I tremble even more for those who have become “fault-finders” as Jude described them. As Jude stated, the “deep darkness” is being reserved for the fault-finders. For some a terrible darkness has already come upon them, and we will witness it with others this year.
Lana Vawser (06 Jan 20): The Lord released a warning to me recently for us as God’s people to not be like Joseph in Genesis 37 who ran in excitement, passion and immaturity and shared the revelation of his future that the Lord had showed him through dreams.
Gina La Morte (in “Epiphany Mystery Revealed”): Restoration and Reformation Are Coming
Fr George Daisa (05 Jan 20): It is my prayer that we not just watch for the tipping of history, but we go to unprecedented lengths to love.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): The urgency of the hour is loud. It is critical that we as God’s people are living close to His heart and listening to His voice and stewarding well that which He is asking of us because where He invites you and I to partner with Him to see these injustices personally and in the earth, overturned, is the place in this new era where HISTORY CHANGES and you get to be part of it.
Brat (in Journal “GREAT PEACE” 03 Jan 20): This afternoon as I was resting in the backseat, I found myself comfortable with the idea of feeling no pressure to say anything! (Plus, Jo had warned me not to flood him.) What if I said nothing? What if I took things slowly? What if I chose to go back to St Pat’s as my home church again? What if I took a couple of months to just take the spiritual temperature of the church? God still holds a VERY special place in His heart for St Pat’s! His Spirit birthed something very special and dear to HIM in that place, so in God’s heart St Patrick’s is akin to Bethlehem.
God, help me to be good with them. Help me to steward this wisely and with love.
Faith Marie Baczko: You will stand securely under showers of unprecedented blessings. In this year of favor, you will have the extraordinary favor of the Lord that draws and attracts all His goodness to you. I decree that you will abide under the exceptional providence and protection that being a child of God affords. No weapon formed against you will or can prosper as you dwell under the shelter of His love.
Revelation 22:15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
Kaji Douša (08 Jan 20): It’s just that … over time … we adapt to it.
Pastor Steve Dittmar (07 Jan 20): You may be asking, Why bother? With so much going on and so many threats in the air, why not take some action? Because the world was saved through the intimacy of one Man with His Father, and the world will come into this salvation again through the intimacy of the church with Jesus Christ. Being joined together in Spirit and truth, His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all, and Christ the head, will see all of His enemies made His footstool.
Sophia Valentina Buller (09 Jan 20): FOR THEY HAVE HAD NO REGARD FOR WHAT IS RIGHT AND JUSTICE WAS A JOKE TO THEM IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Pastor Steve Dittmar (07 Jan 20): “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.’ But you would not,” (Isaiah 30:15, NKJV). Here are four simple yet profound things we are called to do in order to not react to the shaking, allowing us to instead reign in Christ. Inside of Christ there is no shaking, only His glorious victory and triumph. Let’s look at these four things, as calling us “into Christ.” In other words, we return “into Christ”, rest in His completeness, quiet ourselves in His love, and become confident inside of His faithfulness. We need go no further than “into Christ”. A simple prayer I have been praying is: I return all of me into all of Jesus Christ. I enter fully into His rest and into His completeness over me. I quiet myself in His love, looking for the mercies of Jesus Christ into eternal life. I trust in His faithfulness and hold fast my boasting and confidence in Him, because He is faithful Who promised
Brat (in “Place of Secret” 7 Jan 20): He wants to not react to the shaking? There is a reason for the shaking! My bones tremble in awe and fear of the Lord! My bones burn for the Lord and the injustices that the Church created by her neglect and false gospel. He thinks there is no shaking in reigning? Doesn’t Queen Elizabeth fall on her old knees before God because she worries and cares for the British kingdom God entrusted to her? Only a tyrant would think that a position of reigning is a place of comfort, and going no further than “into Christ.” How self-centered! The energy stops with Steve. It doesn’t flow back out to the people like it should.
Sophia (“RE: Secret Place” 07 Jan 20): This is my response to this and all apathy in the church:
And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 25:40‭-‬46 NKJV‬‬‬‬
Rick Joyner: Again, this does not mean overlooking sin, because that is not grace or mercy. When we must approach the sin and failures of others with a redemptive heart, seeking to help each other and not condemn, we can carry the power of the cross. Always consider the high price that The Lord paid for us even when we were still in sin.
Lana Vawser: The Lord has been showing me in many different ways the impurity and ‘misuse’ of His voice and the revelation He is releasing. The Lord is wanting to deal with the impurity in hearts that would use His voice to build their platforms, to manipulate or for their own personal gain. This is the era where the fire of God is falling upon the Church to purify like we have never seen before. God is dealing with spiritual prostitution and impurity in many areas especially in the area of the stewardship of His voice and revelation. Where the voice of the Lord is being used to build platforms for people and self promotion, the fire of God is coming down upon those areas to convict and correct, His goodness to bring forth repentance and lead people into deeper encounter with Him and purity in the stewardship of the revelation and the word He is releasing.
Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 7:18 am Journal: I JUST read Lana’s piece from Monday on “Don’t Waste Water”. The Holy Spirit had led me to say and do everything she had warned NOT to do – like, being discerning with those whom I share (and I had sent “Epiphany Mystery Revealed” to Fr George), stewarding God’s secrets (and wasn’t that the point?), not to be like Joseph (being a blabbermouth of his dreams to his brothers, and as I had said …
Brat (in “Epiphany Mystery Revealed”): “…In truth, I put the inheritance to good use and invested it, trying to show through the dialogues how we actually fulfilled the Book of Revelation. It’s already done, but who would believe me?”
Rick Joyner: There is much more that I can say about this, and will in due time. I also know well that according to I Corinthians 13 the most any of us can see, or know, is part of this picture. The Lord has composed His body so that we need each other to have a complete picture on anything. Because He gives His grace to the humble, and there is nothing that we need more than His grace, and one of the main characteristics of humility is to be teachable, let us continue to seek understanding from this whole situation. It is a very necessary learning opportunity for the times we are in.
Brat: So, why can’t I get sanctuary while we talk?
Journal (08 Jan 20)…and seeking a platform, (even to the point of using that word ‘platform’ in my letter back to Fr George in reply to his “Thanks for sharing”.)
Epiphany, Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11:01 am From Fr George:
Thank you for this, Kathryn. Blessings, George+
Sent from my iPhone
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (10 Jan 20): Yitzchak blessed his two sons (Esav and Yaakov). However, we learn about blessing our children primarily from Yaakov. Yaakov gathered all his children together before his death to bless them. Children receive from their parents in many ways. They have our genes. We financially support our children. Our children learn from what we teach them and from watching our behavior. What is unique about a blessing? A blessing has the ability to transcend all the other parts of ourselves that we share with others. With a blessing a parent can transmit, from their inner essence, something to their children that cannot be transmitted any other way. This week’s Torah portion (Vayechi) is about Yaakov blessing his children (including Yosef’s two sons Ephraim and Menashe). Because of Yosef’s special status as Rachel’s first born, each of Yosef’s two sons became like one of Yaakov’s children. Thus, in terms of inheriting portions of the Holy Land, two of the 12 tribes are connected to Yosef, while the priestly tribe of Levi does not receive any land.
Brat: I didn’t receive any land either. But God sent me TO the priests just as God sent Samuel to Eli and sons and raised him up from within their ranks, but Samuel was not a priest.
Sophia text message (10 Jan 20): Look up the tribe of Levi. I’m led to tell you this.
Brat: Does NOT having land make me spiritually of the tribe of Levi? Or just relatable, because we share a common experience, just as I relate to the Jews in exile, because I am in exile?
[Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 6:29 am Me to Fr George:
Dear Fr George,
If we are the remnant of Joseph, then there must be a platform from which we can engage and not just consume the blogs; to steward the gift of the message; to not just be hearers of the Word but doers. Joseph could not get himself out of prison.
Rabbi Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: As the sages said: “A prisoner cannot free himself from his prison”, meaning that someone on the outside has to do it. By being buried in the Holy Land, Jacob would serve as a reminder to his descendants that they were rooted in something higher than Egypt and did not really belong there.
Verse of the Day (08 Jan 20): Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph. ~ Amos 5:14-15
~Kathryn Hauser
Fr George (08 Jan 20): I’m not quite following your message, in terms of your email to me. If you could, for my benefit, write a little more directly, I would appreciate it.
Brat (Wednesday, January 8, 2020): Dear Fr George,
I pray this is direct enough.
Re: The Joseph reference. – An anchoress (as was also the case with Joseph) reports to the bishop (just as Joseph reported to Pharaoh.) That being said, please pass along my ministry to the bishop (aka blog: https://truthinus.wordpress.com) or at least put in a good word about it and bridge the gap to break the cycle of pain and isolation of not being heard dating back to my days at St Patrick’s with my Discernment Committee. (The exit interview with Fr David Galletly was on 27 Oct 2010, and God told me to leave three months later on 25 Jan 11.) Please know that I left not because of my own pain, but by directive from God, as He had more things for me to do in partnership with Him. It was His command that I followed. They were lukewarm.
Re: The Platform reference. – There is no platform to work from if there is no value acknowledged. (Maybe “platform” is the wrong word altogether.) My Discernment Committee had said I was called, but they didn’t know what to call me, so they did nothing. And to my knowledge they didn’t ask for help. I cannot promote myself in the kingdom of God, contrary to the world’s system. There are forces in my camp that are working overtime to undermine the process of doing things right. (I will show that in my next blog, which is entitled “Water Babies.” That, however, should not stop the Church from doing the right thing now.) I pray the diocese will see the value in our collective journey, of which I have done my best to steward in her absence.
Re: Amos. – God has fulfilled His Word and He is pleased. The Church just doesn’t seem to know yet and that is why Amos says, “Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.” (Amos 5:15)
~Kathryn Hauser
Lana Vawser: “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.” (Matthew 7:6)
Brat (Saturday, January 11, 2020): I received SILENCE. I am still waiting to hear back.
Lana Vawser: For what the Lord is speaking and releasing right now the Lord is wanting His people to use wisdom in the delivery and sharing of His revelation. Not everything the Lord shares with you is to be shared publically and not everything that He speaks is to be shared with everyone.
Brat: [Chew lip.]
Sophia Valentina Buller (09 Jan 20): ALL EVIL STRONGHOLDS, PRINCIPALITIES, AND WICKED SPIRITS PLOTTING AGAINST YOU HAVE JUST FOUND THEIR EARLY GRAVE FOR ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Rick Joyner: This being said, I am not discouraged by the degree of passion about this matter being displayed on either side of the issue. To me it at least reveals how much people care about righteousness and justice. It would be nice if the discourse were more civil, especially as the way that we treat others who are The Lord’s He considers to be the way we have treated Him. Even so, the law of inertia states that we cannot steer anything that is not moving, and I think the amount of caring so many have on this matter presents an opportunity to address some very critical issues that virtually the entire body of Christ has need of.
Patricia King: It is time for us to be elevated in higher places/revelation of His DIVINE grace and glory than we have ever encountered before.
Kaji Douša: Gifts that intervene when things are headed downhill.
Lana Vawser: There is a DEPTH of revelation of the Word of God and His heart that He is wanting to release. Do not be quick to run on the revelation He is releasing. Marinate and Linger, for if you run too quickly out of the water you will not receive the depth of revelation that the Lord has for you. There is an unprecedented level of revelation that the Lord is wanting to release to you of His heart, His wisdom, His strategy.
Michael Toy: Even the great preacher John the Baptizer hesitates to step into the role that God has called him to. Matthew’s Gospel recounts, “John would have prevented him, saying, ‘I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?’” Perhaps the greatest preacher of his generation, John the Baptizer still hesitates, citing his own unworthiness when compared with Jesus. But Jesus answers him and instructs John to baptize him, “for it is proper for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness.” Truly, this is the right thing to do, for when Jesus comes out of the water the heavens split open and a voice from heaven declares, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”
Lana Vawser: I heard the Lord say “Don’t forget who it is that is speaking to you”
Brat: One thing that I did do (and about the only command from Lana that I actually did, as any self-respecting brat would do,) was that I did linger from Monday to Wednesday, simply because Jo and I got a play day yesterday, so I was not influenced by Lana’s words! Ha! I DID remember who was speaking to me and it was Jesus, not her!
Isaiah 30:7 to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless.
Therefore I call her
Rahab the Do-Nothing.
Brat: Lord Jesus, my Advocate in the courts, did You arrange this as proof that I followed You and not the wiles of man?
Shmuel-Simcha Treister: The Real Supreme Court
Isaiah 30:8 Go now, write it on a tablet for them,
inscribe it on a scroll,
that for the days to come
it may be an everlasting witness.
Rick Joyner: I’ve been studying biblical and civil jurisprudence for over thirty years now and only know of one other Christian leader or teacher who has studied it at all. There may be others, but I just don’t know them. The Lord’s throne, or authority, is established on righteousness and justice (see Psalm 89:14). A reason why there is so much unrighteousness in the church is because we have almost no justice, or even any place to go where there is a biblical due process.
Brat: Speaking of biblical due process, the Catholic Church used to have the Office of the Devil’s Advocate, but they dismantled it. (I think they did that in Vatican II (?).) Years ago I had asked them why they didn’t have the Office of the Angel’s Advocate. Of course, as always, I received SILENCE.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: We pray that “Your tender mercies come quickly” because Israel would not be able to withstand the negative forces against them if this were not the case. This is because there are many possessing harsh judgements against Israel and many accusers on high waiting to ambush her spiritually. If G d didn’t precede them to awaken mercy on behalf of Israel by removing their sins, they would not be able to exist in the physical world. This is the reason we plead “Come quickly to meet us with Your tender mercy because we have been greatly impoverished” – impoverished of good deeds and mitzvot.
Lana Vawser: Over the past few years I have heard the Lord speaking over the body of Christ..
“Do not prostitute My voice”
Isaiah 30:1 “Woe to the obstinate children,”
declares the LORD,
“to those who carry out plans that are not mine,
forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit,
heaping sin upon sin;
Rick Joyner: We do not need any more casualties in this. We need to pray earnestly for those who have fallen into the trap and taken on the nature of the accuser of the brethren, and for them to be delivered. As we are warned in Galatians 6:7: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.” If we want to reap grace in our own life we must sow grace. If we want to reap mercy we must sow mercy.
Isaiah 30: 12 Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:
“Because you have rejected this message,
relied on oppression
and depended on deceit,
13 this sin will become for you
like a high wall, cracked and bulging,
that collapses suddenly, in an instant.
14 It will break in pieces like pottery,
shattered so mercilessly
that among its pieces not a fragment will be found
for taking coals from a hearth
or scooping water out of a cistern.”
Brat: Thyatira could help out. But that help doesn’t come directly from Rick Joyner, according to the blueprint.
Revelation 2: 26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— 27 that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give that one the morning star.
Rick Joyner: I have also learned that it is not high on The Lord’s agenda to make me look good, or to justify me before others, even for what I might consider some of the costliest acts of obedience. I’m good with this because His teachings are clear, and His own example is clear, that obedience to The Lord will rarely get us favor with men, but there will be blessings for it.
Doug Addison: God is releasing “completeness” as revelation and deeper understanding are starting this year. We have not had the full picture of what to do next, but this is changing as missing pieces are coming into place. God is bringing a new level of wisdom and understanding to you. Your ability to hear the Lord is going to take a sudden acceleration this year.
Rick Joyner: At the same time, I was getting rebuked by The Lord for being too harsh; most people were demanding that I be much harder. From what I witnessed happening to those who were demanding more severity for Todd [Bentley], I do not want to err at all, but admit that I will do my best to lean in the direction of gentleness, grace, and mercy.
Brat: For the record, I do not know what is going on in the circumstances with Todd Bentley. He is accused of something, but I don’t know what it is. I feel like God has kept a protective shield around me to keep me distanced from this public stake-burning.
Lana Vawser: I felt the fear of God strongly on this. The Lord is calling the people of God to be WISE and be lead by His Spirit in whom to share the revelation He is releasing. It is not only for their protection but also part of the process of stewarding the revelation of the Word of God and the secrets of His heart with maturity.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: This is referred to in the verse: “As a father has mercy on his children, so the Lord has mercy on those who fear Him.” (Psalms 103:13) When He finds that they have acted sinfully, He passes over those misdeeds, one after the other until they are all passed before Him. Now when they have all passed before Him, there are no more sins to review, and as a result the harmful forces of the “Other Side” have no source from which to harm Israel.
Lana Vawser: The fear of God is going to increase significantly over the people of God in the revelation of Matthew 4:4 and John 10:27. That is the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, the God Almighty that is speaking. As the people of God we have been invited into the place of communication, not with our next door neighbour, but with the King of Kings, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
Brat: One cannot gossip if one is not listening to it in the first place.

Epiphany Mystery Revealed 06 Jan 20

6 Jan

Working Dates: Sunday, January 5, 2020 to Feast Day of the Epiphany, Monday, January 6, 2020
[9 pages]
Brat: These blogs are not just for your or my entertainment.
Fr George Daisa (05 Jan 20): Well, people are busy.
Jude 1:3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.
Donna Schaper: Second, look up often, even at lunchtime or when your stomach turns at the thought of another email.
Faith Marie Baczko: For those who have ears to hear, directions will fall from Heaven. Strategies will come and instructions will be given just as they were given to Moses, Deborah, Gideon and John the Baptist. They are God’s unusual and peculiar methods, brought forth to set the captives free and bring hope to the despairing.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): [In] The most recent dream I heard the Lord saying “There is an unprecedented demonstration and manifestation of My justice upon the Church in this new era”
Brat: Are you saying that you read “Taking Initiative”?
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): Some of the greatest injustices’ that have happened in the lives of believers and in the earth are going to be overturned in this new era. I heard the words “I am bringing down the GIANT OF INJUSTICE”
Fr George Daisa (05 Jan 20): This year we flee to Egypt. Herod is furious! But they were thwarted by the Three Wise Guys. Church, remember this day the massacre of the Innocents! It is a narrative of violence. It is the martyrisation of Church violence, archetypes, and false narratives.
Joe Joe Dawson: I’ve seen people work so hard to climb to the top of a ladder, only to reach the top and realize they climbed the wrong ladder. Make sure that whatever you are doing is the will of God. Make sure you have put your hand to the plow in the field God has sent you into, and that you are on the right ladder and building the right wall. It is so important to put our hands to only the things God has graced and sent us to plow and build in each season.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): These giants of injustice in the lives of believers and in the earth have been making more noise than ever before and that is because the gavel of the Lord is coming down swiftly. The Lord showed me that this move of His Spirit bringing forth an unprecedented demonstration and manifestation of His justice is going with great acceleration.
Faith Marie Baczko: God is set and ready to move. I believe there will be thunderings, noises and lightnings in the nations and in every sphere and arena. We will see this happen in demonic systems, governments and social constructs. Demonic structures are primed for a great fall. God’s light will begin to shine on the darkness and sin. Evil will be exposed as demonic, spiritual walls of protection crumble around people who have plotted the demise of nations and of our children.
Gina La Morte: Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): “The Lord is your mighty defender, perfect and just in all His ways, your God is faithful and true; he does what is right and fair” (Deuteronomy 32:4 – GNT)
St Patrick’s Announcement: Sunday, January 12 – The Epiphany, or the Manifestation of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the Gentiles and the Visitation of Bishop Samuel Azariah
Joe Joe Dawson: God is always moving forward and doing something new. Don’t plow in the same way in the same field if it is no longer yielding a harvest. God is shifting many people into new seasons and new assignments in this time, but we can only be a part of what He is doing if we are staying close to Him and listening closely for His direction. If you plow in the wrong field for too long you may become frustrated and your heart can become calloused. Put your hands to the plow with all your might but make sure you are in the field God has given you grace for.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): I heard the words “Lifelong injustices will be SUDDENLY overturned”
Ephesians 3:1 This is the reason that I Paul am a prisoner for Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—
Jennifer Eivaz: A decree is defined as an official order issued by a legal authority. Naturally speaking, a decision made by order of the court supersedes the desire or opinion of the defendant whether it’s a fine, a denial of driving privileges, or even a jail sentence.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): We have moved into the era where we shall see the greatest demonstrations of the justice of the Lord being made manifest in the earth like we have never seen before. In my most recent dream the Lord continued to speak about to the gavel to come to bring down injustice and to overturn.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter (in “Taking Initiative” 01 Jan 20): Community leaders have the power. But they have to act decisively, to lead.
Kenneth L. Samuel: The leader must be an advocate for the poor and the leader must rescue the children who are in need. The leader must wage war against all who oppress others. The leader must rescue the poor who cry out and be a defender of all who are defenseless. The leader must be a strong supporter of the weak and the leader must take a stand against any brand of destructive violence.
Jude 1:8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings.
Gina La Morte: I can’t help but get excited every time I read the book of Revelation. It brings me so much joy, revealing Christ and His victory throughout the Scriptures; it is such an encouragement of His unending love for us. When diving into the passage of Scripture from Revelation 20, it also reminds us of satan’s defeat and how beautiful the final judgment is. The books are open! Church, let’s make sure we are doing all that we can with what He has given us…it’s recorded in the books!
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter (in “Taking Initiative” 01 Jan 20): A Sacred Space – But in Advance! (Vayigash 5780) !
Brat: Yes, we have talked about this many times over the years. So, are you saying that our conversations have been prophetically accurate after all?
Ephesians 3:2 for surely you have already heard of the commission of God’s grace that was given me for you,
Brat (in Journal “GREAT PEACE” 03 Jan 20): Maybe St Pat’s will just be a one-time visit. I won’t know until I get there. I still love the place. Maybe I’ll get flooded with memories when I go back. They say you should never go back. But how do we reconcile? How do they get the good news that we the Remnant made it through the Tribulation? Plus, I keep hoping for retribution. I have no tribe (and “tribe” is in the word retribution), but I think I’m supposed to get a tribe before I get sanctuary. I can’t get a tribe without real connections. I need to build this connection carefully without neediness. This great peace will help me do that. Lord, make the peace stick!
Jennifer Eivaz: Job 22:28 instructs us saying, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): This declaration was coming from the mouth of God that He was changing history in the lives of His people and in the earth. What has been will no longer be. The injustices will no longer remain. But then what struck me was the roar of “I AM CHANGING HISTORY” was flowing as a declaration from the people of God too.
Jennifer Eivaz: The Hebrew word for decree in this passage (gazar) is a command that not only establishes something, but also divides and cuts something down at the same time. The powerful promise for making a decree is the light of God will shine upon all our ways. In other words, the decree cuts away and destroys anything from the Kingdom of darkness that has been purposed against you.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): The Lord will not just be dealing with ‘one area’ of injustice, the Lord showed me the domino effect of injustice that has taken place in the lives of believers and in the earth, the Lord is now about to demonstrate His power on a scale we have never seen before where there will be an accelerated demonstration of the JUSTICE of the Lord overturning the injustices all at once.
Gina La Morte: “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from His presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11-15)
Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 6:10 am Journal: It feels like God opened a sensory portal again. All my senses are acute. Sophia noticed it, too, when we talked last night. God opens sensory portals when He’s trying to wake His people up. For me it is painful. God said people often don’t come to Him unless they are in pain. I felt sorry for GOD! What kind of relationship is that for people to have with Him? To only know Him through pain? What about the other gifts of the Spirit? There are Seven Spirits of God, aren’t there?
Joe Joe Dawson: I believe it is very important to discern the season you are in. Whenever someone does not know what season they are in, they can easily become frustrated and misuse their time and resources because of it. I don’t like to see people become frustrated because of misidentifying their season. When you know your season, you know what tool you should have in your hand.
Faith Marie Baczko: The favor of the Lord will rest heavily upon His people. It’s a favor that draws and attracts everything needed and required to get the job done. This favor includes resources, finances, gifts, anointings, supernatural miracles, signs and wonders. Jesus is ready to ride with His apostolic/prophetic servants into the harvest fields of the nations. The King is ready to go into His fields! Jesus is Lord of the harvest and is ready to meet with His people in the harvest fields.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): “There will be DAYBREAK DEMONSTRATIONS of My justice” – when the Lord spoke these words the sense surrounded me so strongly of MAJOR injustices in the lives of believers and in the earth being SUDDENLY overturned in a day. These major demonstrations of His power to overturn major injustices is going to restore the fear of God in the church and cause the earth to tremble at the Majesty and power of God. The Lord is going to demonstrate in powerful ways that He is the One who sits on high and He is the name above all names. He is the Mighty Victor.
Ephesians 3:3 and how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I wrote above in a few words,
Brat: But these blogs are long, because they are conversations interwoven from contributions into my inbox. I have no control over the length, because it’s not just my voice…
Ephesians 3:4 …a reading of which will enable you to perceive my understanding of the mystery of Christ.
Brat: The problem is that they are just consumed and consumed. There is no real engagement.
Fr George Daisa (05 Jan 20): That is the dilemma of the blog.
Gina La Morte: Revelation 20: The Books Are Being Opened
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): His voice continued to surround me: “I am turning the page on injustice”
Faith Marie Baczko: Recently as I was praying, I heard the Lord’s voice boom in my spirit and say, “Big things! Big things are coming!” According to our timetables, the Lord can take a very long time to move, but when He does finally move, it is sometimes accompanied by noises, thunderings, lightnings and earthquakes.
Gina La Morte: Revelation 20 is also a prelude to Revelation 21, the unveiling of the New Jerusalem. It feels like a prophetic timetable for us as we move into this new decade of 2020. Then, we will move into the following year of 2021. Revelation 21 poetically outlines what to expect: Seeing a new Heaven and a new Earth, the Holy City, and the New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven like a Bride beautifully dressed for her Husband.
Mary Luti: We’re always adoring on bended knee at cradles occupied by unfathomable babies. Always surrounded by glory-singing angels. Always offering ourselves in praise. Always finding God most tenacious and tender among the suffering, the displaced, the overlooked, the despised. Always subverting the violent power of kings with the serene insistence of stars, the meekness of stables, the divine dignity of human flesh, the generous offer of favor and grace.
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue (in “Taking Initiative” 01 Jan 20): A universe where real love is an option will always be a world in which pain and suffering are not only possible but likely. And yet, this world of choice founded on love is also what makes all the noble acts of self-sacrifice possible. This world is not only a world of pain and suffering, but also a world of generosity, kindness, and love.
Brat: And there is no end to the exploitation until someone in leadership steps in to do their job and enforces where the proverbial buck finally stops.
Jennifer Eivaz: When you make a DECREE, in the context of prayer, you go before the Lord and say your DECREE out loud. Not only will God hear and respond to your words, but your words, when they align to God’s word, put angels on assignment (Ps. 103:20).
Fr George Daisa (05 Jan 20): Love wins when we love; when we listen to our enemies’ hopes and fears.
Jude 1:4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): The sense surrounded me that not only was the Lord about to demonstrate His power in an unprecedented way in the lives of believers and in the earth but there was also an invitation upon the Church right now to position themselves close to His heart to receive the divine intel of heaven in specific strategies to pray, to decree, to implement, to build that will partner with Him to see these injustices overturned.
Ephesians 3:5 In former generations this mystery was not made known to humankind, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): The Lord is coming and standing in the injustice that was caused and laughing at the injustice. As the Lord laughed over the injustice, His laugh was a laugh of victory. I could feel the Lord’s compassion and love for what His people had walked through in the injustice and in the pain, but at the same time His laugh was SO LOUD that it filled me with joy. His laugh declared “The enemy thought he could stop you and steal from you in this injustice but I am bringing you into a land of harvest like you have never known. I am moving powerfully in your midst now to bring forth the greatest overturning of injustice in your life. I am releasing My justice over the injustice that was caused to you and I am bringing forth a TENFOLD RESTORATION and a DOUBLE PORTION of JOY! I am establishing My government in your midst and you will now be set free from the shackles of this injustice and you will RUN into all I have for you and know joy like you have never seen before.”
Gina La Morte: Church, we are preparing for Christ’s return! We must fasten our gaze onto our Savior and Bridegroom. He is coming, let us prepare for the time is now!
Ephesians 3:6 that is, the Gentiles have become fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
Brat (in Journal “GREAT PEACE” 03 Jan 20): In my case, the players did (for the most part) leave the stage. I don’t know what gossip smeared my name. But I did go through a deep forgiveness process. And I won’t know if this is wishful thinking or divine reversal or a redemption point until I see it for myself. It is one of those things where I must show up. If I go not being needy and just take God with me, then they may see the better me they’d first gotten to know before the politics of the game tainted my journey. I don’t know if I’ll be welcome. I don’t know if I’ll get triggered by their comments of “the Prodigal returns!” (I was driven out; I didn’t squander the inheritance.) In truth, I put the inheritance to good use and invested it, trying to show through the dialogues how we actually fulfilled the Book of Revelation. It’s already done, but who would believe me?
Gina La Morte: True reformation cannot begin without restoration, but first we need revelation.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): The Lord showed me that there are MANY in the body of Christ who have been dealing with great injustice that has been caused to them from fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord showed me how He has been drawing these ones close to His heart and leading them deeper into Luke 6:28 “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you, to the one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak, do not withhold tunic either.” But many have been in the spirit living under and being affected by the “injustice” and the Lord [is] now coming in as the Mighty Defender to deliver His people from these affects.
Ephesians 3:7 Of this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God’s grace that was given me by the working of his power.
Gina La Morte: How can we expect a corporate anointing if we aren’t allowing the Lord to deal with us personally within our own hearts? The outpouring of the Holy Spirit will come to a people with clean hearts that are unified and purified in the Body. In 2020, we should allow the Lord to personally restore our hearts and bring forth the revelation we need to see, so that we can unite corporately and bring the glory as we come to the end of 2020.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): The vision then shifted and Jesus turned to the Lion of Judah and He opened His mouth and He began to roar. As He roared and those positioned close to His heart and in the place of receiving what was written in this book in heaven, they began to ROAR. There was a SYNCHRONISED ROAR that was being released into the earth and as I listened closely I heard the sound in the ROAR was “I AM CHANGING HISTORY!!!!!!!”
Gina La Morte: There will be a purging and cleansing, as well as a time of transformation that takes place in the early months of 2020. A clean heart doesn’t mean perfection, but it does mean purification of motives. A Bride without spot or wrinkle has a clean and pure heart that isn’t driven by self but is directed by the Kingdom, with a compassion for people, just like Jesus. For if we truly believe we have been co-crucified with Christ and no longer live, then our personal agendas and motivations for self-gain should be null and void, because they are no longer part of a Kingdom mindset. Reformation can only be birthed after personal restoration has come.
Ephesians 3:8 Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the Gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ,
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): The battle for many has been over them taking their place with the Lord to see these injustices overturned by the power of the Spirit. This is where everything changes.
Ephesians 3:9 and to make everyone see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things;
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): That is what is at stake! That is what is happening! God is OVERTURNING and He is CHANGING and SHAPING HISTORY and bringing down these injustices that have raised themselves up against the plans of God in the earth.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (02 Jan 20): Perhaps, the students of the holy sage stood and watched the demise of both their Rebbe and their Torah, being destroyed together. At such a moment, they asked one question: Rebbe! What do you see? “Mah Atah Roeh?” This exact term is found in Jeremiah chapter one, where G-d asks the prophet “What do you see?” referring to a prophecy about the future, and a future of destruction.
Gina La Morte: Restoration and Reformation Are Coming
Fr George Daisa (05 Jan 20): Rather than supporting “our side” in the false narrative we must be a voice for the voiceless.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (02 Jan 20): The students were asking Rabbi Chaninah “What do you see” to constitute our future? With you—the preeminent sage of Israel—and the Torah going up in flames, what does the future hold for our people and faith? Where are we to invest our “stocks?” In the portfolio of Torah, seemingly meeting its doom, or in the portfolio of Rome seemingly on top of the world? Tell us, dear Rebbe, “what do you see?”
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): I then saw a very large book in heaven and the page is being turned and on the new page was the gavel of the Lord and the strategies of the Lord to bring forth His justice upon the earth.
Ephesians 3:10 so that through the church the wisdom of God in its rich variety might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): In the partnering with Him in how He is changing history in the lives of believers and in the earth, the people of God were being positioned in Him to OVERTURN and to CHANGE AND SHAPE HISTORY like never before.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (02 Jan 20): As the flames engulfed his body, Rabbi Chanina ben Tradyon saw the letters “porchot,” a Hebrew term that means not only soaring, but also blossoming, blooming, flowering and flourishing. While the parchment burned, the letters of our Tradition had already taken flight, like a seed box carrying the kernel that will grow into a new tree. This is the eternal charm of the letters of our Heritage: Out of the ashes they rise; and borne by the winds of history, they are supplanted in new fertile ground where they can once again take root and thrive.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: When a corpse is found in the field outside the city, the leaders and judges of the closest city must come out and perform a specific ritual, after which they are to declare, “Our hands did not spill this blood,” meaning that that they did not knowingly fail to provide this person with food and an escort prior to leaving their city. (Deut. 21:7)
Brat: You knew, and I loved you anyway.
Hebrews 13:12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.
Ephesians 3:11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose that he has carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): In this vision I saw Jesus standing over this book and He spoke: “Come and see”
Ephesians 3:12 in whom we have access to God in boldness and confidence through faith in him.
Brat (05 Jan 20): Jesus had said that to him who overcomes, He would give the right to sit with Him on His throne, just as He overcame and sat down with the Father on His throne. (Rev 3:21)
Lana Vawser (04 Jan 20): It was the place of the people of God taking their place in governing like never before. It was the place of the people of God being awoken to their authority.
Brat (05 Jan 20): So, I took communion today with my St Patrick’s family again. Jesus is my testimony to the power of forgiveness. That doesn’t mean that the whole relationship with the Church is made right yet, but it’s an important step toward reconciliation.

Working Dates: Wednesday, January 1, 2020 to Friday, January 3, 2020
[13 pages]
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: This week in our Gospel, we hear the painful truth that when Jesus was born, Herod struck out against innocent children in Bethlehem. And yet, we learn more about the Creator, as God’s plan cannot be thwarted. God loves us so much that he is willing to enter into the pain and suffering of this world to redeem it. Even as Herod could exercise his free will to do the unthinkable and end too many innocent lives to secure his power, Herod still did not have the power to stop God’s love and the plan of salvation for all. Yes, the world is fallen. Yes, those who wish to do evil have the free will to act on their wrong desires, but the free will of those who commit evil is powerless to stop the love of God. Evil exists for but a painful, tragic moment when compared to God’s eternal love.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (31 Dec 19): “The meaning of the word ‘fall/felled’ in this context is not that the leaves fall, since there is virtually no foliage in these Alon trees. But the implication is that the tree is uprooted from its roots, as a result of the winds such as the one in the picture.”
Israel365 Promotions (31 Dec 19): STOP! An opportunity you won’t want to miss
Quinn G. Caldwell: And then just before you begin resoluting, remind yourself of this very important point: It is not your job to save the whole world; Somebody Else has already made that resolution, and that particular Somebody is guaranteed to keep it.
Jeremiah 31:7 For thus says the LORD: Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and raise shouts for the chief of the nations; proclaim, give praise, and say, “Save, O LORD, your people, the remnant of Israel.”
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: This week’s Reading begins with the words “And Judah approached”. (Gen. 44:18) He did not wait to be called. He took the initiative to do something. Similarly, each of us has to get out there and use some of the new potential we have acquired.
Pastor Steve Dittmar: As we enter into 2020, we remember the simple promise given in 2 Chronicles 20:20 by Jehoshaphat to the tribe of Judah, a list of instructions for preparing to face their enemies in battle. In the end, it would not be a battle, but rather a slaughter. The entire story is recorded in 2 Chronicles 20 and is a prophetic picture for the church as we enter into 2020. The story began with Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir (Israel’s cousins whom they had always dealt kindly with because of the Lord’s orders) coming to slaughter Judah. Jehoshaphat had called for a fast in response to the overwhelming and insurmountable odds of the three nations coming to drive Judah out of their inheritance.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: The Oznayim LaTorah and Natan Gestetner give a different reason. In Jacob’s blessing to his sons that we will read in next week’s portion, he says (Bereishit/Genesis 49:10) that the scepter will never leave Yehuda. The tribe of Yehuda were destined to be the kings of Israel. In part, Yaacov sent Yehuda to open a yeshiva because Yaacov wanted to teach Yehuda leadership on a broader level. And specifically in a way of spreading Torah. On a deeper level while Yosef was the defacto ruler of the world, this did not guarantee the eternal survival of the Jewish people. It is the Torah that controls our destinies. And the Torah says that “the scepter (i.e. that the kingship) will never leave Yehuda.” Yaacov wanted to teach Yehuda that only with Torah would his leadership be eternal. This is why he sent him ahead to open a yeshiva. And especially in Egypt where the impurity was so strong. Yaacov did not want them to be there even for a minute without a yeshiva, a place of Torah, to connect them to their source.
Torah@Ascent (31 Dec 19): subs…@ascentofsafed.com
Brat: “subs…”? No joking. It came into my inbox that way. Like a submarine. It’s not about the content on this email, but the coded message in the sending.
Doug Addison (31 Dec 19): Continual Improvement Always (CIA)
Lana Vawser (in “Holy Name of Jesus” 30 Dec 19): The Lord also spoke to me regarding social media and a warning He is releasing for this new era. I heard the Lord say “Be careful to not plaster everything over social media” for some of the new lanes and assignments the Lord will move His people into, some beginning in January 2020, the Lord will give you specific instructions on how to share it and steward it and one of those things for many will be to not plaster all over social media. Some of these new lanes are assignments from the Lord that must be kept in secret between you and the Lord and those directly involved. There will be a major purging of hearts that will take place concerning social media in this new era and the Lord inviting His people into a deeper place of learning how to steward His move with greater purity and integrity.
Wendy Alec: The Lord replied, “Yes…you well know the depths that trauma and pain can take you.”
Brat: Is this a muzzle or a set-up?
Torah@Ascent (31 Dec 19): The Mystical Month of Tevet 5780 (Dec.29-Jan.26)

Month: 10 * Sign: Capricorn * Letter: Avyin * Tribe: Dan * Limb: liver * sense: anger * Sefirah Channel: binah to tiferet * Permutation of the Name: K.Y.K.V.
“The Month of the Longest Nights”

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Long winter nights are meant to be set aside for Torah study. Rabbi Joseph Yitzchok of Lubavitch discusses the qualitative difference between the laws of the Torah whose purpose is to show us how to act properly and the inner dimensions of the Torah, whose purpose is to teach us to know G d. Even though the inner dimension helps connect us to G d, still we are limited because we can never really know what G d is, only that He exists. The advantage of the laws of Torah when seen in the abstract, is that we know their essential nature, we can understand them in their entirety, not only how and what we are to do, but also why we should do it.]
Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi: This in turn elicits yet a third, and still higher, level of love for G d, characterized by the person experiencing true delight in G d. The above is complemented by a person’s scrutiny of their actions and motivations, and sincere efforts to assimilate the Torah into their own personality.
Brat (2 Jan 20): Okay, so I went back later to look inside the email. At first I had ignored it and walked away, but something kept nagging me that there was more there than what meets the eye. What stands out to me in the chart now is that the tribe of Dan is listed in combination with the emotion/sense of anger. In the New Testament, the tribe of Dan is omitted from the Tribes who were sealed as servants of God as recorded in Revelation 7. Dan must have been outrageously angry to have been left out. Or was it his anger issues that he never dealt with that caused him to be left out?
Elijah List (31 Dec 19): Wow. Last day! We Ask You Humbly…
Doug Addison: Begin where you are today and get started with small steps toward your goal. As you learn more and grow, you can make changes or adjustments along the way. Remember, this is an ongoing practice – no matter how good we get at something, there is always room for improvement.
Perets Auerbach: Against this background we gain profound insight into a cryptic practice the Greeks instituted in their zeal to strip the Jews of their last vestige of Jewish faith and practice. As recorded by our Rabbis, the Greeks decreed that all Jews must inscribe upon the horn of an ox the statement: ‘We renounce our connection to the G d of Israel.”
Lana Vawser (in “Stones” 07 Dec 19): Instantly it was like my eyes were sharpened in the spirit and I saw beneath the surface of these shofars in these wells was water. The top layer of the water looked ‘normal’ but then as I looked deeper the waters were contaminated.
Sophia Valentia Buller (31 Dec 19): THE SCARLET LETTER THEY TRIED TO PIN ON YOU HAS JUST BECOME PERMANENTLY TATTOOED ON THEIR FOREHEADS IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Perets Auerbach: The Talmud records that many Jews fell under the spell of the Greek way of life; they tried convincing their brethren to join the Greeks in their new-found freedom, to live moment to moment and seek instant gratification. One prominent Jewish woman, Miriam the daughter of Bilga who hailed from a family of Kohanim, priests who served in our holy Temple, married an officer in the Greek Helenist army.
Doug Addison: Make practicing Continual Improvement Always (CIA) a part of your daily life; implement these strategies I shared today and watch your life start to change for the better.
Brat (31 Dec 19): Fr. Stephanos Pedrano, O.S.B., should you or your brethren read this blog, I would invite conversation from you…
(Lanene Waters “liked.” Thank you!)
Revelation 2:19 I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.
Brat (in “Goat”19 Dec 19): Then why does Laodicea continue to push in with more grinding SILENCE week after week, like Antipas to Herod. Was he the silent witness while Herod slaughtered the Innocents and Antipas stood by, watched, and could do nothing? Evil happens when good men do nothing. Are they in collaboration with Pergamum? Jesus had something to say in Matthew 23:33-36, so I’ll let Him speak to them. Laodicea took on more than she could chew.
Perets Auerbach: “The problem with the world of Tohu (‘Chaos’) is that it has a few screws loose — its lights are not connected to its vessels.”
Proverbs 29:1 Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes
will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: The limits of what God cannot do are set not by logic or some arbitrary boundary; the limits of what God can and cannot do are set by love. Love is the founding principle of all that is. To say, “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,” explains so much. It shows that first and foremost, God loves us unreservedly. Love demands freedom, requires it. True love can never be demanded or coerced. There is no other way. Force, demands, and oppression cannot create even the faintest spark of the fire of love.
Brat: You never wrote me back, and I shared with you before you ever became bishop-elect. (Congratulations on that promotion, by the way, however it turns out.) But you couldn’t return the initiative? Or were you too busy planning on what you would respond to “Boss Baby”? I really do listen. It’s an occupational hazard (for which I should get hazard pay!)

Revelation 12:15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.
Perets Auerbach: When he entered the Temple with his garrison to defile its precincts, Miriam entered with him and proceeded straight to the sacrificial altar. She violently kicked the side of the altar and screamed, “Lukus (wolf), Lukus, how long will you continue to consume the sacrifices of your people but fail to protect them in their time of need?” She mirrored the attitude of her Greek husband in refusing to acknowledge a higher purpose in life.
Susan Michael (31 Dec 19): A final word of thanks
Monk (in “Boss Baby” 24 Dec 19): Is this the time to cry “Wolf! Wolf!”?
Brat: Maybe so.

Nate Johnston: Ekballo is a Greek word used many times in the New Testament and means; to cast out, drive out, to send out, to command or cause one to depart, to be sent forth, to draw out with force, tear out, to move forward towards the goal, to reject with contempt, to cast off or away, to draw out, extract, one thing inserted in another, to bring out of, to draw or bring forth.
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: Yes, one can coerce some sort of reaction. You can force someone to act out the semblance of the symptoms of love. But you cannot force love, as what is arrived at without free choice is not love. Love must be freely given and freely accepted in order to be love. For God to love us means that God must give us free will. There is no other way. And this is exactly what God did. God gave us a choice. And through our choices, we can get hurt and we can hurt – or even kill – others.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Brat (in “Manager” 18 Sept 19): Jesus, now manifest Yourself to bring closure. Manifest real sanctuary. Jo really heard me yesterday when I said that it is NOT STATISTICALLY possible in Nature for one’s life to remain unchanged and stuck in a vacuum for thirteen YEARS. If it is not natural, then it must be supernatural. This dysfunctional Silence must be broken! I keep reaching out (even all the way to Jerusalem!) and the conversation comes to a screeching halt or the Arc Speak goes on over my head as if I don’t exist.
Nate Johnston: When I woke up the next morning I instantly saw the connection to the deliverance and healing dreams I had earlier in December and knew this was a power-packed prophetic moment for the church to step into an hour we haven’t quite anticipated. The Holy Spirit is unleashing an “ekballo” anointing right now that is violently confronting what is trying to subtly sneak into your new year and rob you of energy, focus, vision, joy, and time. It’s a no-nonsense anointing that is exposing the fears, lies, and inferior ways of thinking that have tripped us up for so long.
Pastor Steve Dittmar (31 Dec 19): As the Judeans prayed, a prophecy was given, “‘Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you’” (2 Chronicles 20:15-17, NKJV). Now it was tomorrow, (just as tomorrow for us will be 2020), and Jehoshaphat was setting the singers in front of the army. “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: ‘Praise the Lord, for His Mercy endures forever’” (2 Chronicles 20:21, NKJV).
Nate Johnston: “Ekballo!” I heard the Lord say as I slept one night, and I woke up. I went back to sleep and I heard it again “Ekballo!” and my spirit leaped and I woke up knowing God was wanting to speak to me about this mysterious word.
Jeremiah 31:8 See, I am going to bring them from the land of the north, and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth, among them the blind and the lame, those with child and those in labor, together; a great company, they shall return here.
Perets Auerbach: Perspective and perception in life are crucial to our understanding of pure, ultimate truth. The Greeks allowed themselves to be blinded by the immediate esthetic and refused to acknowledge a greater power which might infringe on his hedonistic predilections. The Jew, however, beholds this world and sees it as a wondrous veil concealing an infinite beyond.
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: God has created a world in which love is possible and humans bend their wills to do some very ungodly acts. The result includes death at the hands of murderers or drunk drivers and so on. It also means that birth defects can occur from known causes like a mother taking drugs while pregnant, or causes less understood at the time, such as infants harmed by thalidomide.

Brat (29 Dec 19): What I REALLY need is to see where God is leading through this collective story. The creepers get creepier and the “It’s all good” get goodier. Somewhere through this convoluted maze there is a straight path like a bowling alley that will pave the way for God to make the STRIKE on these bowling pins!
Jeremiah 31:9 With weeping they shall come, and with consolations I will lead them back, I will let them walk by brooks of water, in a straight path in which they shall not stumble; for I have become a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: “Blessed are You, L rd our G d, King of the universe, who spreads forth the earth above the waters.” (Siddur, Morning Blessings)
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: The Bible does not hide the painful truth of the world as it is. Scripture does not try to pretend that all is well. Throughout the text, we see the painful truth of the world: that given the free choice to do good and to love others and act on that love, many will distort the image of God within them and do unspeakable things. Yet, God does not let this stand unchallenged. Herod could not put out the light of God’s presence born in Bethlehem. Herod could not steal the gift of love which was Jesus.
Brat (in “Boss Baby” 24 Dec 19): Herod is not the ‘Boss Baby’, Jesus is!
Perets Auerbach: The Greeks scoffed at this notion. They believed only in that which they could see. But in truth, their rationalistic philosophies were mere excuses to absolve themselves of a greater responsibility and allow themselves to pursue with abandon the momentary gratifications of this limited world.
Proverbs 29:9 If a wise person goes to court with a fool,
the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.
Pastor Steve Dittmar: Praise was the ambush God wanted, and all the pride, self-reliance and vindictiveness of the nations who stood before Judah, were no match for the Lord. The Lord set ambushes against Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, by turning them to fight one another, until not a single man was left standing. God used the cover of praise to blind Judah’s enemies and turn them against themselves. He fought for His people as they praised Him and He is going to do this again throughout 2020. He is calling us, His body, to position ourselves, in stillness, to see the salivation of the Lord.
Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands far away; say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him, and will keep him as a shepherd a flock.”
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Eretz (meaning “earth” in Hebrew) is related to the word ratz (“run”); the Midrash teaches that the earth is so called because it ran to do G d’s will. In this context, “earth” is a metaphor for action that stems from choice. Water, on the other hand, flows from higher to lower levels, and symbolizes the “top-down” revelation of G dliness; this is related to doing G d’s will automatically, since in the face of revelation there is no possibility of noncompliance.
Perets Auerbach: When the Greeks saw the Jews performing the service in the holy temple “taking healthy bullocks, oxen and sheep and consecrating them as korbanot, sacrifices to an unseen G d, it stirred within them pangs of conscience and enraged them against this people that presumed to curtail their quest to satisfy every last desire this world has to offer. The notion of wasting a perfectly good animal that could otherwise provide physical pleasure was antithetical to their pragmatic sensibilities. Consequently, the Greeks decreed that their secular philosophies should supplant Torah study and that the performance of mitzvot be outlawed.
Revelation 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.
Pastor Steve Dittmar: Position, Stand and See the salvation of the Lord who is with us! It’s all done through praise! Praising the Lord positions us within His victory, where we are then able to stand and see salvation. 2020 vision, by faith, turns a bad, hopeless situation into the spoils of victory. It took Jehoshaphat and his people more time to collect the spoils of their victory (3 days), than the duration of prior ordeal. It’s time to praise!
Jeremiah 31:11 For the LORD has ransomed Jacob, and has redeemed him from hands too strong for him.
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: In answer to the evil humans do, God offers love. Real, enduring, eternal love. Love that in time will break the power of evil and death. Yes, we see that an evil tyrant could use the gift of free will to do evil. But we also see that evil could not and did not win a victory in Bethlehem and it will never win an ultimate victory in all creation. The power of love can and does defeat evil. Love will win out in the end.
Jeremiah 31:12 They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the LORD, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall become like a watered garden, and they shall never languish again.
Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi: Revelation of this Great Love is accomplished through study of the Torah, which is compared to wine. This is the inner significance of the Talmudic saying “When wine [referring to Torah] enters a person, the secret [referring to the longing of their soul for G d] comes out”.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: In the higher worlds, “water,” the unquestioning fulfillment of the divine will, is above “earth,” the fulfillment of the divine will out of choice. In this world, however, “earth” is above “water”; our sense of free choice is not overwhelmed by the illumination of constant revelation. When we awaken each morning, we should reflect upon the great favor the Almighty has done for us by spreading the earth above the water, thereby allowing us to serve Him willingly, and not merely as a matter of course. For this reason King David proclaimed, “He spreads the earth above the waters, for His kindness is everlasting”. (Psalms 136:6)
Jeremiah 31:13 Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy, I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: What God did in Bethlehem during the tragedy of Herod’s slaughter of the innocents was to be present to those babes in life and then to be with them always in eternal life when they died. For the parents, God remained with them in the tragedy and stayed with them always, never departing from those in pain, even in the darkest tragedy. God does not abandon us to suffering but remains with us in the midst of our pain and loss. Then, God works with all the terrible pain we humans cause, bringing good even out of unimaginable tragedy and loss.
Jeremiah 31:14 I will give the priests their fill of fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my bounty, says the LORD.
Quinn G. Caldwell: Prayer

That we really do want to lift you up as God commanded? I am here to listen. I can only speak for myself, but I believe the Remnant is also listening, and the Remnant has no intention of contaminating or diluting the oil of Divine Wisdom. Bill Johnson: They were to offer a much costlier offering than mourning over sin could ever express. They were to rejoice before they had earned it. This kind of offering would take much greater faith.
Lanny Swaim (26 Dec 19): When we completely lay down our lives, not caring what the outcome is, then we make room for Christ to be fully formed in us (see Galatians 4:19). As that occurs, then it is no longer our faith that accomplishes the promises of God in our lives, rather, it is His faith. As He lives His life in and through us, His faith keeps us on the journey into all truth and ultimately to our destinies.
Sirach 24:3 “I came forth from the mouth of the Most High, and covered the earth like a mist.
Lillian Daniel: Prayer
Dear God, help me to understand that no single day gets to have the last word. At the end of a good day, or at the end of a bad day, you are with me, as you always have been and always will be. Amen.
Sirach 24:4 I dwelt in the highest heavens, and my throne was in a pillar of cloud.
Rabbi David Sterne: Shem miShmuel explains that by looking at something, we form a bond with it. However, this only takes place when the object we are looking at is capable of bonding, or receiving the higher energy. Otherwise, what happens is disaster. When Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai emerged from a cave after twelve years of hiding from the Romans, he turned everything he looked at “into a pile of bones.” This occurred because his spiritual energy was too high for the mundane world around him. Whenever the receiving object is not on a high enough level, it cannot survive the piercing gaze of the tzadik.
Sirach 24:5 Alone I compassed the vault of heaven and traversed the depths of the abyss.
Rabbi David Sterne: On the other hand, there are times when a gaze from Above is beneficial. When the Torah uses the word hashkifa mi’maon kodshecha (“Gaze from Your holy place Above”), Rashi explains that such a holy gaze is generally negative for the physical world, which can’t tolerate such holiness. However, when used in the context of a poor person, whose heart is broken, the word has positive connotations. Because the poor are broken-hearted and ego-less, the gaze of G d or of the tzadik upon them has no detrimental effects, and uplifts and elevates the object.
Sirach 24:6 Over waves of the sea, over all the earth, and over every people and nation I have held sway.”
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Although we are immeasurably insignificant in comparison to G d, we nevertheless possess the capability to serve Him. This, however, is only because, in His kindness, G d has revealed Himself within this world and through the Torah, indicating His desire to have a dwelling place on this lowest of all planes. He designed creation to give us a place to put our feet, a stage from which to function. He has “spread the earth above the waters.”
Revelation 12:16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: A poor tinsmith, only average in knowledge, was strongly bonded to his Rebbe with love.
Brat: Yes?
Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice;
when the wicked rule, the people groan.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: G-d designed creation to give us a place to put our feet, a stage from which to function. He has “spread the earth above the waters.”
Sirach 24:7 Among all these I sought a resting place; in whose territory should I abide?
Lana Vawser (in “Holy Name of Jesus” 30 Dec 19): New lanes are going to suddenly open up starting in January 2020 for many, new avenues where you are going to find opportunities and assignments that will bring forth the greatest demonstration of the acceleration of God that you have ever seen. Wendy Alec: The Father said, “Some of those men and women that you see here are My greatest warriors, and are called to do My greatest exploits in the end times. And yet, many have judged them, for they have not walked in their shoes; they have not walked their path. The more they have experienced condemnation, the more the Pharisees and Sadducees have placed their spotlight on their flaws, the greater the condemnation they grapple with.”
Brat: I have been on the receiving end of this myself. Being exploited by the religious sucks.

Perets Auerbach: We live in a world of great beauty, one that offers tantalizing material benefits and pleasures for humanity’s taking. But what is the true purpose of these resources, and to what end should mankind exploit them? This question is as old as the world itself and has garnered a myriad of responses from different individuals and peoples throughout the course of human history.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: Once, in a certain town, a group of chasidim of the first Rebbe of Chabad, Rabbi Shneur Zalman, were being severely oppressed because of their chasidic practices. Some of the chasidim were even arrested, due to the slander and false accusations presented to the local authorities. G d was merciful, however, and the innocent victims were released. They immediately sat down together to write a letter to the “Alter Rebbe” informing him of the good news of their deliverance.
Perets Auerbach: Or are we here only temporarily with a higher purpose that transcends our fleeting presence in this infinitesimally small corner of the universe? Do we have a mandate to serve a Divine Creator and, thus, connect ourselves to the eternal? Is there an unseen yet palpable, spiritual realm whose beauty and pleasure far surpasses the temporal bounds of the world we see in front of us? These trenchant but diametrically opposed viewpoints form the basis of the Chanukah story and inform the philosophical outlooks of its key protagonists, the Jews and the Greeks.
Sirach 24:8 “Then the Creator of all things gave me a command, and my Creator chose the place for my tent. He said, ‘Make your dwelling in Jacob, and in Israel receive your inheritance.’
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Later in the portion we find that Jacob blesses Pharaoh. The Shem Shmuel asks why? (see Gen. 47:7) He answers by saying that when Pharaoh received from Jacob, i.e. became a vessel for Jacob’s blessings, spiritually he was restrained from dominating Jacob. This explains why Pharaoh did not start making trouble for Jacob’s descendants until after Jacob died. This is another reminder that this week is a good time to be proactive.
Quinn G. Caldwell: I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. God will dwell with them; they will be God’s peoples, and God will be with them; God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” – Revelation 21:3-4 (NRSV)
Sirach 24:9 Before the ages, in the beginning, he created me, and for all the ages I shall not cease to be.
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: Among this group was a poor tinsmith named Shimon, who was only average in knowledge and understanding, but was strongly bonded to the Rebbe with love and dedication. He was often heard to spontaneously cry out, “Oy Rebbe!” This Shimon took it upon himself to arrange the delivery of the letter to the Rebbe. Instead of sending it by regular mail, he decided to hire a private messenger in order that their letter get to the Rebbe “express,” absolutely as soon as possible. He arranged to pay for the extra costs out of his own pocket.
Sirach 24:10 In the holy tent I ministered before Him, and so I was established in Zion.
Rabbi Curt Landry (in “Honestly Darling” 15 Dec 19): However, when we know the price Jesus paid to lay the offer of marriage before us, when we know of His scars and love, how can we refuse? How can we not take the cup and drink the wine? Because the hour of our Bridegroom’s return is near, we cannot afford to wait any longer. We cannot make the Lamb of God wait for His intended’s answer any longer.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter (3 Jan 20): A Sacred Space – But in Advance! (Vayigash 5780) !
Brat: Yes, we have talked about this many times over the years. So, are you saying that our conversations have been prophetically accurate after all?
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: A universe where real love is an option will always be a world in which pain and suffering are not only possible but likely.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: The doers of our community should not feel they are less than the Torah scholars. Your strengths are needed too. The Torah scholars will inspire. But the community leaders will get the job done.
Proverbs 29:12 If a ruler listens to lies,
all his officials become wicked.
Matthew 23:38 Look, your house is left to you desolate.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: “Didn’t they realize that I had also thought of all of those solutions? But it is the last piece that I needed them to act on. And now, it is too late.”
Sirach 24:11 Thus in the beloved city he gave me a resting place, and in Jerusalem was my domain.
Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue: God showed real love for creation, not by taking away the choice that made love possible. God showed love by becoming weak and vulnerable. God entered into the creation in the person of Jesus of Nazareth to gently weave back the tattered tapestry of our world with love. And through our free will, we can choose to respond to God’s love, committing to follow Jesus in answer to that love.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: After some time had passed, one of the leading chasidim, Rabbi Yaakov of Semillian, arrived in the town as an emissary of the Rebbe. He had been sent to collect the money for the above-mentioned campaigns from all the chasidic communities in that area of Russia. Much to the astonishment of the chasidim who had all gathered to meet with R. Yaakov, he delivered a letter to Reb Shimon the tinsmith, which was written entirely in the personal handwriting of the Alter Rebbe himself! In it the Rebbe thanked him for arranging a special messenger to deliver the good tidings of the release speedily. The Rebbe concluded by blessing R. Shimon that G d Al-mighty should bless him to be always a bearer of good news.
Matthew 23:39 For I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
