Israel365 (29 Dec 19): ✡ Now more than ever we must fight for survival
Kris Vallotton (28 Dec 19): I believe we are moving into a sovereign season. God is moving at a speed that is creating Kairos conditions; His divine providence is molding and shaping history like a potter works clay. He is defending righteousness with his steadfast justice and unshakable love!
Numbers 6:22 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
Israel365 (29 Dec 19): Hashem has sent me ahead of you to ensure your survival on earth, and to save your lives in an extraordinary deliverance
Genesis 45:7 (The Israel Bible™)
Numbers 6:23 Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the Israelites: You shall say to them,
Katie Barker: The Lord says, “In this time of great shifting, motion and alignment, many people will see their circumstances and situations shift and move. They will see My hand over their lives. My angelic hosts are being released to align the path before My people. I align the path but My people need to continue to take steps of faith and obedience to My leading in order to walk the path I have prepared, for the path is always an invitation.”
Anna Blake (30 Dec 19): Photo & Poem: Letting Him Lead
You were there the day he was born, all ears and
knees. You knew him when his hooves were still
soft and his eyes first saw light, but the forever
deal was struck long before then. You knew what
the colt did not, that it was you who was born for
him. The exquisite crimson cut as he took his first
steps away from you, never again as compliant as
the dream. Can you let him move into the world,
can you cheer his curiosity, can your calm soothe
his fear? Can your love give him the confidence to
stand alone because as much as you long to pull
that colt to your chest, your arms locked round his
shoulders, his eye is sweeter given without request,
his company most dear when offered freely, the trust
between you shining brightest when you stand as
equals, him given the choice to lead you into his life.
Numbers 6:24 The LORD bless you and keep you;
Katie Barker: “Many people will see Me release them into the greater plans I have prepared for them in the months to come, and they will walk in closer partnership with Me. As My plans are unfolding, so, too, am I unfolding the greater plans for My people and am releasing My faithful ones into significant Kingdom assignments. They will walk in the mandate they were born to fulfill.”
Numbers 6:25 the LORD make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
Joe Joe Dawson (29 Dec 19): If you could understand what God is trying to do and what the end result will look like, you would keep going. If you could truly see even just a glimpse of what God has in store for you, you would not give up.
Numbers 6:26 the LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
Israel365 (29 Dec 19): Israeli police officers use horses to keep the streets of Jerusalem safe
Katie Barker: I saw many people who felt like they are in a ‘holding pattern’ at this time. They know the assignments the Lord is calling them to steward but they are waiting on Him to unlock and release things around them so that they can fully step out into their assignments. I also saw many people have received prophecies of what the Lord is calling them to but they are wondering how they will ever come to pass due to their circumstances. The Lord is encouraging His people; He is going to unlock things that have restricted you, and you will see the Lord release you into the greater plans He has for you in the time ahead.
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): In this encounter as the wind of His Spirit blew strongly and the Lord began to ROAR over His people I saw the mighty hand of God come down and REMOVE THE ROOTS! The Lord showed me that many have seen the ROOT of the issue/s that have been coming against them and He is coming in power to REMOVE THE ROOT.
Numbers 6:27 So they shall put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.
Joel Yount (28 Dec 19): “I AM Defending You From Your Accuser. I AM working overtime in your situation to restore relationships that have been broken apart by the enemy. I AM your defender in court, and I will not allow my sons and daughters to be humiliated during the outcome of trial!”
Psalm 8:1 O LORD, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): The Lord showed me that there have been many things that have “defined” the people of God in 2019 that is not part of their inheritance in Christ and the promises of God for their life. There has been such a battle for so many in 2019, it has been one of the hardest years for SO many. The Lord showed me that many have felt “redefined” by the things that have come against them. Many look in the mirror and see someone different to who was standing there at the beginning of 2019. Many have felt negatively ‘redefined’ by the battle of 2019.
Psalm 8:2 Out of the mouths of babes and infants you have founded a bulwark because of your foes, to silence the enemy and the avenger.
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): I watched as the Lord walked through 2020 and His children standing on His feet as He walked and they were taking the biggest steps and taking the greatest amount of territory in their life.
Psalm 8:3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established;
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): “Don’t you know that God, the true judge, will grant justice to all of his chosen ones who cry out to him night and day? He will pour out his Spirit upon them. He will not delay to answer you and give you what you ask for. 8 God will give swift justice to those who don’t give up. So be ever praying, ever expecting, just like the widow was with the judge. Yet when the Son of Man comes back, will he find this kind of persistent faithfulness in his people?” – Luke 18:7 (TPT)
Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Dec 19): I AM COMING BACK IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Psalm 8:4 what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Dec 19): YOUR OPPRESSORS FEAR MY RETURN FOR THEY KNOW THAT THEY ARE IN THE WRONG AND IT IS TIME TO PAY UP IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Brat (29 Dec 19): What I REALLY need is to see where God is leading through this collective story. The creepers get creepier and the “It’s all good” get goodier. Somewhere through this convoluted maze there is a straight path like a bowling alley that will pave the way for God to make the STRIKE on these bowling pins!
Donna Schaper: Jesus the baby becomes Jesus the man becomes Jesus the Savior. Jesus the living becomes Jesus the dead becomes Jesus the living. Even something as lovely as singing “Silent Night” on Christmas Eve will not last forever. The candles will be extinguished, the cover put back on the organ, the hymnbooks rearranged in the pews. The show that opened will also close. Your best moments will evaporate and so will you. My best moments will evaporate and so will I.
Brat: Jesus fought hardest against the religious spirit of the Pharisees.
Bob Dylan: “Like a Rolling Stone” [https://youtu.be/IwOfCgkyEj0]
Rebecca Bratten Weiss: The corrupt prelates who persecuted the mendicants wanted to water down the radicality of Jesus’s message. Religious and political leaders try to do the same today, to attempt to appropriate the Gospel as something to be used for power on behalf of the powerful, rather than for justice on behalf of the oppressed. Yearning for physical, real justice – for healing and comfort in the here and now – is dismissed as somehow less sophisticated than an ever-ineffable ever-remote resolution that the powerful can dangle over the weak in the form of spiritual promises. We are manipulated into a position of nihilism masked as religious superiority, shamed for believing justice – like truth – should be in the flesh.
Brat: Well said, sister!
Victoria Boyson: Earlier this year, I shared a vision of the fire of the enemy coming on the warriors of God. In that vision, the warriors were covered in black charcoal because of the fire they’d endured. Understandably, I think most people were hoping I was wrong – me too!
Wendy Alec: I could see slime coming from the judgmental words; slime that covered the warriors who were at last trying to stand. Then the Father came in the form of the Lion of Judah and He roared. As He roared, He pulled off the oppressive net with one mighty movement! He blew the false judgments off the men and women, and many of the gray mantles turned into the most incredible iridescent colors. Then a great rushing wind came called “FREEDOM,” and another that said, “Keep going…you are on the right track.”
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): No matter what others say, no matter what other amazing opportunities or assignments may be presented to you, STAY in the lane God has shown you that opens up to you and you will find GREAT FAVOUR and increase. It is SO important to stay in your lane and stay true to what the Lord calls you to and not be swayed by other voices or opportunities.
Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Dec 19): EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAVE FEARED HAS COME UPON THEM FOR THEY REFUSED TO REPENT AND TURN AWAY FROM THEIR WICKED AND EVIL WAYS IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Talitha Arnold: King David had great plans, but God had other plans. The one thing he wanted most—building the Temple—he had to leave for his son Solomon.
Victoria Boyson: David was ordinary, common by man’s standards. The anointing to be king hadn’t changed his situation except it did seem to put a big target on his back and his brothers were obviously jealous. While man chose him to watch the sheep and carry food to his brothers, God chose to make him a deliverer! And so it happened that on that very ordinary day, the anointing of God met with the arrogance of man and only one man was standing when it was all over.
Isaiah 43: 25 “I, even I, am He who blots out
your transgressions, for My own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.
26 Review the past for Me,
let us argue the matter together;
state the case for your innocence.
27 Your first father sinned;
those I sent to teach you rebelled against me.
28 So I disgraced the dignitaries of your temple;
I consigned Jacob to destruction
and Israel to scorn.
Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Dec 19): THE WEAPONS OF THEIR OWN TONGUES HAVE BROUGHT THEM THEIR OWN RUIN IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Katie Barker: I then saw a huge chessboard and I knew the board represented the lives of God’s people. I saw pieces on the chessboard being strategically moved into position by the Lord. He was showing me that He is aligning and moving things in the lives of His people in this time of alignment, and this is unlocking and releasing them.
Psalm 8:5 Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor.
Fr. Stephanos Pedrano, O.S.B.: One day, because people stared to see if he would break the Sabbath by working a healing, “he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart” [Mark 3:5].
Brat: I wish the monks and priests hadn’t hardened their hearts toward me.
Wendy Alec: I watched as the ministering angels poured a thick, healing balm, anointing their heads with oil. Jesus was triumphant. He spoke again, “Before they are released into the call sovereignly ordained for them by My Father before their conception, I decree REST, REST, REST for their souls.”
Psalm 8:6 You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet,
Katie Barker: Many times we don’t see the ways the Lord is aligning our path and ordering our steps until we look back and see the way He intervened and worked things for our good. The Lord is encouraging you that He is positioning, unlocking and aligning things about you.
Psalm 8:7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field,
Victoria Boyson: Remember David? When he met Goliath, it was just another day like any other and yet, that day would be different for him. At that point, nothing had changed in his life except for receiving the anointing from God to be king. He had nothing else going for him. He wasn’t big, well known or even the favorite of his family. He was a shepherd and nothing much else was expected from him.
Katie Barker: I then saw a chessboard laid over a map of the world and I could see the Lord was also moving chess pieces on a world scale. He was showing me that this is a strategic time of alignment in the earth, as well as for individuals, and we will see His plans unfold in a greater way in regions and nations.
Psalm 8:8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
Yael Eckstein (30 Dec 19): Kathryn, I have a question for you
Katie Barker: I then heard the Lord say, “Just as I am moving and aligning things in the lives of My people, so, too, am I unlocking and releasing the greater plans I have for regions and nations, for this is not just a time of alignment for individuals but for regions.
Psalm 8:9 O LORD, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Talitha Arnold: “We may never see the end results,” [Archbishop Oscar Romero of El Salvador] concluded, “but that is the difference between the master builder and the worker. We are workers, not master builders; ministers, not messiahs. We are prophets of a future not our own. Amen.”
Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law
Wendy Alec: I said to the Father, “Father, what is this net that is so hindering their freedom?” He answered, “My child, multitudes of these men and women have, in this past season, walked through so much Hell that in order to survive the pain and the trauma they experienced, many went into self protection mode; many fell into trauma. And because of the seeming unrelenting pain, many people turned to that which became addictions in their lives, when the pain became TOO GREAT for them to handle.”
Galatians 4:5 in order to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as children.
Wendy Alec: Now these weary ones were lying in the most beautiful soft grass that shimmered like emeralds. They lay basking under the soft shade and cool of the magnificent trees that bowed their branches as if to protect them. Then I saw the Lord Jesus start to wash their feet – oh so lovingly, oh so tenderly – washing away the dust and grime of the long, arduous road on which they had traveled. Ministering angels in multitudes appeared in the garden and so lovingly bound up the cuts and bruises on their feet.
Galatians 4:6 And because you are children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”
Wendy Alec: I replied, “Yes, Daddy. But when the excruciating trauma hits from an unexpected source I still get blindsided.” I then cast my mind back to how many times I have cried out, in total desperation to the Lord, saying, “Father…NO MORE PAIN.”
Verse of the Day (30 Dec 19): “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” ~ John 16:33 NIV
Galatians 4:7 So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God.
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): MIGHTY and POWERFUL alignments of the Lord’s justice is going to be seen in the crossover into 2020 and beyond. The Lord is calling His people to enter 2020 with great expectation. To move into 2020 abandoned to Jesus and following in the ways the Holy Spirit is leading with childlike faith.
Philippians 2:5 Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): New lanes are going to suddenly open up starting in January 2020 for many, new avenues where you are going to find opportunities and assignments that will bring forth the greatest demonstration of the acceleration of God that you have ever seen. In these new lanes, you will see the favour of God on unprecedented levels.
Philippians 2:6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited
Wendy Alec: The Father said, “Some of those men and women that you see here are My greatest warriors, and are called to do My greatest exploits in the end times. And yet, many have judged them, for they have not walked in their shoes; they have not walked their path. The more they have experienced condemnation, the more the Pharisees and Sadducees have placed their spotlight on their flaws, the greater the condemnation they grapple with.”
Brat: I have been on the receiving end of this myself. Being exploited by the religious sucks.
Charisma: Imperfect People, Circumstances, and Choices Hurt My Heart…
Philippians 2:7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): The Lord also spoke to me regarding social media and a warning He is releasing for this new era. I heard the Lord say “Be careful to not plaster everything over social media” for some of the new lanes and assignments the Lord will move His people into, some beginning in January 2020, the Lord will give you specific instructions on how to share it and steward it and one of those things for many will be to not plaster all over social media. Some of these new lanes are assignments from the Lord that must be kept in secret between you and the Lord and those directly involved. There will be a major purging of hearts that will take place concerning social media in this new era and the Lord inviting His people into a deeper place of learning how to steward His move with greater purity and integrity.
Wendy Alec: The Lord replied, “Yes…you well know the depths that trauma and pain can take you.”
Brat: Is this a muzzle or a set-up?
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): The great and renowned Torah scholar, Rabbi Chaim Ozer Gorodetsky was once in the Town of Krakow for Chanukah. Towards evening his coat tore so he went to the house of the town’s tailor to have it repaired.
Christian Women For Israel (30 Dec 19): A Cloak and a Challenge
Israel365 Promotions (30 Dec 19): Please respond today
Brat (in “Shepherd’s Pie” 26 Dec 19): Well, Reuben threw Joseph under the bus and nabbed his coat, so maybe this is a divine reversal; some sort of redemption point? I completely know how Joseph must have felt, because my “Reuben” threw me under the bus, Rabbi Leiter. You understand what I’m talking about.
Wendy Alec: I was quiet then; I knew well what He spoke of, for I, myself, had experienced so much prayer and deliverance, but at the darkest times pain would still trigger a desperate need for comfort that I knew only too well.
Brat: This is what God says:
Isaiah 43:12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—
I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God.
Victoria Boyson: Satan can’t stand to watch our faith in God manifest into our breakthrough. He sees it as a great failure. He is determined to strike at the heart of our belief and pour out discouragement. Disillusioned by the lies of the enemy, we tend to lose faith in Him and soon feel crushed under the weight of earth’s reality.
Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Dec 19): 🔥🔥🔥THOSE WHO SAY THEY ARE MINE BUT ARE REALLY OF THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN HAVE MET THEIR DOOM AND THEY ARE LIVING IT AS LONG AS THEY CHOOSE ARROGANCE, PRIDE, EVIL, DECIET, AND EVERYTHING UNHOLY OVER TRUTH, JUSTICE, LOVE, MERCY, WHAT IS RIGHT, REPENTENCE, GENUINE LOVE, AND EVERYTHING FROM MY HEART IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Philippians 2:8 he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death– even death on a cross.
Donna Schaper: The quick brush of death with birth only amazes those who missed the part about this child being different. His death was to glorify God. The shepherds and the angels didn’t get it. I don’t know why we should make believe we do. We can try but we don’t have to succeed. “The value of the Jewish Messiah is not that he never arrives, but that his arrival is imminent. Every second of time is the straight gate through which the Messiah might arrive,” said Walter Benjamin. Does that theology of the now/not yet, the always coming, help us with the mystery around birth and death being such good friends? It helps me. The ending doesn’t so much happen as threaten to happen.
The Chabad.org Team (29 Dec 19): We’re concerned…
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: Betelgeuse Supernova: Pre-Messiah Star of Jacob to Herald Gog Magog War With Iran
[Judgment of Satan] Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather [!] them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Brat: In Revelation 20 God says Satan gathers them for battle by deception.
Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: “The war will begin with Rome against Persia, that is to say, the U.S and its allies against Iran and its allies. None of the nations will be exempt from the War of Gog and Magog but God will also enter the fray,” Ovadia said. “It is prophesied that in the end-of-days, nations will…
Steve Shultz (30 Dec 19): We ask you Humbly, Don’t Scroll away
Brat: I got that partial quote from the teaser in their email. When I went to the full article, my computer would not let me scroll down. It was frozen.
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): As this major transition and shift took place I saw people and things in other lanes attempting to cause many to move from these new lanes. I heard the Lord say “STAY IN YOUR LANE”
Wendy Alec: The Father answered with SUCH grief in His voice, “It is the NET of UNRIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS, the net of the Pharisees’ and Sadducees’ judgments,
AND IT IS NOT OF ME!”
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): In this mighty deliverance that is taking place there is a shift into the acceleration of God that is going to take place. It is not living life in the fast lane of busyness or ‘doing things’ or ‘trying to make things happen’, it is acceleration by the hand of God and the lanes He assigns His people to.
Rabbi YY Jacobson: Help Us Combat the Darkness
Sophia Valentina Buller (29 Dec 19): WHY WOULD I LET MY BLAMELESS REMNANT SUFFER AT THEIR HANDS!?! NO MORE SHALL YOUR OPPRESSORS WALK ARROGANTLY AGAINST YOU IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Wendy Alec: I could hear the grief in the almighty roar of the Lion. He said, “These people who have judged My sons and daughters have NEVER walked in the paths that this remnant has walked in, for these men and women that you see have, in this past season, been so marked by the enemy that they walk in pain, loss and bereavement unimaginable. The net that you see is the net of misrepresented judgments, of incorrectly weighted judgments, of religious judgments that say, ‘Why are you not walking as I am? I have no need for crutches. Look, I AM STRONG.’
Lana Vawser: I also heard the Lord say “DO NOT SHOUT “LOOK AT MY NEW LANE FROM THE MOUNTAINTOPS”
Wendy Alec: Then I could hear the Father’s roar rise up again, and I could see the Lord Jesus rocking some of those still living with trauma so gently and stroking their heads.
Philippians 2:9 Therefore God also highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name
Wendy Alec: Then the King of Glory, JESUS Himself, walked in luminescent splendor among the wounded, stopping to draw out every spear. He would stroke their heads and whisper His living words of overwhelming love, life and comfort. Then I heard Him saying “THANK YOU” to all who had gone through the most ferocious of battles and yet still loved Him, even though they were clinging by just a thread.
Philippians 2:10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth
Wendy Alec: Then I saw the most beautiful thing…the angels began to bind up the broken hearts. As each angel laid their hand on a man or woman’s chest, I gasped in shock, for, literally, as their hearts were exposed, gaping, unhealed wounds could be seen. I saw many who had spears piercing right through their bleeding hearts. It was like a hospital scene on a battlefield after the ravages of war.
Kris Vallotton (28 Dec 19): My prayer is that God will open our eyes and help us understand His ways. May He align our hearts with what He’s doing on the earth!
Philippians 2:11 and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): This is the FINAL LAYER of deliverance that will BREAK the CYCLE, BREAK the CHAIN and SHIFT the season for many.
Wendy Alec: I realized that, while to others these men and women seemed so weak, to JESUS, they were His heroes, the recipients of the VICTOR’S CROWN. Then He stood majestic – oh so beautiful – and beyond description. He said, “I came to bind up the broken hearted, to set at liberty those who are bruised; to set free the captive, to deliver those in trauma, for they have paid a terrible price at the hands of the enemy of their souls, but they have passed the test.”

Shepherd’s Pie 26 Dec 19

29 Dec

Working Dates: Thursday, December 26, 2019 to Saturday, December 28, 2019
[11 pages]
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): Your Choice! Escape or Elevate! (Mikeitz 5780)
Isaiah 52:9 Break forth together into singing, you ruins of Jerusalem; for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
Brat (in “Boss Baby” 24 Dec 19): Would you at least consider that not all of us Westerners are Greeks you should beware of bearing gifts? That not all of us are trying to assimilate you? That we really do want to lift you up as God commanded? I am here to listen. I can only speak for myself, but I believe the Remnant is also listening, and the Remnant has no intention of contaminating or diluting the oil of Divine Wisdom. We seek after God’s righteousness and bow to His holiness.
Sophia Valentina Buller (24 Dec 19): RIGHT NOW AND FOREVERMORE IS THE SEASON OF MY ANOINTED REMNANT IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Bill Johnson: They were to offer a much costlier offering than mourning over sin could ever express. They were to rejoice before they had earned it. This kind of offering would take much greater faith.
Lanny Swaim (26 Dec 19): When we completely lay down our lives, not caring what the outcome is, then we make room for Christ to be fully formed in us (see Galatians 4:19). As that occurs, then it is no longer our faith that accomplishes the promises of God in our lives, rather, it is His faith. As He lives His life in and through us, His faith keeps us on the journey into all truth and ultimately to our destinies.
Rev. James Liggett: The light of Christ, the Word made flesh, comes among us at Christmas—and we celebrate its coming into the world. God had revealed himself and his love to us in Christ. That first Christmas, the stable stank but the light shone—and it continues to shine. It continues to allow us to see—and to show a world living in darkness what we have seen. For by that light we have been given power to become children of God—and to take our places with the light. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): Sometimes a person may have a certain insight that leads him to start searching for the truth – maybe even to look into Judaism. Often, it comes from a revelation that he or she is tired of all of the falseness that faces them everywhere and yearns to escape from the confusion and get to the root of things.
Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
Lanny Swaim: You can’t have one without the other. If we are to truly reign with Christ, as the kingdoms (nations) of the world become the Kingdom of our Lord and His Christ (see Revelation 11:15), He has to be able to trust us with His authority, and we can only be trusted with the responsibility of walking in that authority when we have completely laid down our lives, becoming immersed in His life to the point that – not just positionally, but experientially – it is no longer “I that live, but Christ that lives within me” (see Galatians 2:20).
Hebrews 2:17 Therefore he had to become like his brothers and sisters in every respect, so that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make a sacrifice of atonement for the sins of the people.
Kenneth L. Samuel (26 Dec 19): Can You Hear Me Now?
Verse of the Day (22 Dec 19): And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. ~ Luke 2:8-11 NIV
Brat (in “The Borg” 22 Dec 19): I think the angels went to the shepherds first, because they were prophetically symbolic that God was dealing with the spiritual shepherds.
Vicki Kemper: Greetings, favored ones. The Lord is with you, and the time is nigh. Do not be afraid, but rather prepare yourselves. For hearts willing, by God indwelling, the world is about to turn.
Hebrews 2:16 For it is clear that he did not come to help angels, but the descendants of Abraham.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): And what is the easiest solution? Run to nature, the desert, the forest, to somewhere where all of the encumbrances cannot find us. Where nothing is shouting at us, no commotions. It seems that only by breaking away from our daily responsibilities can we serve G d without all of the distractions. This is the real reason why our ancestors and the tribes chose to be shepherds, far from the demands of society. In nature, surrounded by the flock, it is easy to stay centered on the spiritual world of holiness and purity.
Lanny Swaim: The solution is a trust that goes so deep that it cannot be shaken, even if the desired outcome never manifests. That kind of trust only comes from complete surrender. Just giving lip service to surrender is not really surrendering.
Tony Robinson: Prayer
Lord, I pray for all those leaders who do seek to make the world a safer and brighter place for the vulnerable, for the sick and the weak, for the small and the suffering. Sustain, uphold and encourage them, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Hebrews 2:10 It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many children to glory, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Journal (in “Boss Baby” 24 Dec 19): Forgive me, Jesus, but where is the touch of correction that Cheryl talked about? Weren’t we supposed to have a course correction? Am I being willingly ignorant? (2 Pt 3:5) The goddamn SILENCE from the Church leaders continues. I’m not talking about Cheryl, I’m talking about the Generals in this Ender’s Game from those who read me behind the scenes while I have no sanctuary over here. (And now I will be alone for Christmas? Oh well. O wait! Friends came through! Thank You, God!) Over the course of two days I have shared three pieces: “Kneeling”, “Goat”, and “Borg”. [12/28/19: And now “Boss Baby” and “There You Have It.”] That is a whole lot of time and effort and craftsmanship (in the rain, no less), not to mention the cost of printing out the many rough drafts it takes to do this, and to steward our collective story and my calling and commission for Your Sake, all for no compensation or heavenly reward. I continue to share and share and they continue to take and consume. There is nothing new in that, even though I continue to look for it. (2 Pt 3:13) I neither see nor sense new heavens and new earth because the old has melted away (v 12). I see mega-fires consuming the continent of Australia. I feel no oil of joy (yet) that You have restored the balance in Your kingdom. I totally honor Your longsuffering toward us. I know in my heart that You are not slack concerning Your promise. (2 Pt 3:9)
Jeremiah 2:32 says, “Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.”
Chelsea Hagen: I sense in this place of great blessing we need to stay on guard, sober, alert and wide awake, lest we fall into stagnant, poisonous waters. We must guard our hearts against apathy and complacency, drifting into lukewarmness and becoming a soft target for the enemy.
James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
Derrick Gates: I could see in the spirit this morning the bride was beaten and bruised and weeping. Jesus rides in on a white horse that has justice written upon him. He rides up to the bride with a bag that is inscribed with one word. Recompense! As the bride reaches for the bag she is transformed and the bag begins to overflow with a bounty of blessings. The more she transforms the more blessings come forth. God is ready for Justice in your life, it’s time for your compensation for everything the enemy has taken. God is taking you from barely get along avenue to a street called straight paved with gold and lined with banners that read favor is upon you. Are you ready to take your bag of Recompense?
Deuteronomy 8:17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.”
Rabbi YY Jacobson (26 Dec 19): Chanukah Day #5 – The Secret behind Chanukah Gelt
Deuteronomy 8:18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
Lanny Swaim: I am convinced that until we can say with Job [13:15], “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him,” and really know the weight of it in our circumstances, we don’t fully trust Him. And how can any of us make such a statement until we have been faced with the reality of it? In other words, until you have been there, faced with the possibility of never receiving the manifestation of what you are believing/praying/confessing, making such a statement is just an assumption and not something you know beyond any doubt.
Angie Stolba: “The enemy has relentlessly placed pressure and opposition on both your promise and present circumstances as you’ve quickly approached the new year. Yet I say, ‘Who can stop the Lord Almighty?’ Nothing and no one can stop the tidal wave of my blessing and favor that is about ready to be lavished upon you.”
Kenneth L. Samuel (26 Dec 19): I’ll be the first to admit that I have little patience with people who do not return my phone calls … or my texts … or my emails. I’d just as soon delete them from my contacts and spend my time calling people who want to talk to me.
Lana Vawser: We pray your week is blessed. We know some people who are deep in prayer for this coming year and decade – which is a very wise thing to do. Hopefully, I will have another email out soon with some more information.
Chelsea Hagen: How do we take heed to this warning so that we don’t fall into this trap in the season of blessing?
Deuteronomy 8:16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you.
Elijah List (28 Dec 19): We ask you Humbly, Don’t Scroll away
Lana Vawser: Christmas is an amazing time to remember the powerful life of Christ, and how those around him were affected too – from Mary to the thief on the nearby cross.
Hebrews 2:15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by the fear of death.
Lanny Swaim: There is a trust that goes deeper than exercising faith for specific things. It is a trust that cannot be shaken, even when the circumstances of our lives seem to go against the promises found in the Word of God. It is a trust that remains intact even when things we have prayed for, confessed and exercised faith for seem to remain elusive, stubbornly refusing to manifest in our lives.
Lana Vawser (28 Dec 19): Test by brandthis
Brat: Sophia, Lana Vawser sent this test email. “Test by brandthis.” Didn’t Amanda Grace talk about branding or something like that? I couldn’t remember, and this feels like a marker point in our collective story, but I cannot put my finger on it. Can you provide more clarity?

Sophia Valentina Buller: Yes! 2 times!
Here is the first one:

And the 2nd one:

They go together justice of Yaweh: JOY
Hebrews 2:12 saying, “I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters, in the midst of the congregation I will praise you.”
Kevin Vawser: Hi friends. This is another test post. We’ve had a few problems with the website today, so I am just running a test to make sure it is working again.
Hebrews 2:18 Because he himself was tested by what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): This week’s Torah reading, Mikeitz, describes the descent of Joseph’s brothers to Egypt and includes their initial meeting with Joseph: “Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him.” (Bereishit/Genesis 42:8).This verse, like every verse of the Torah, can be understood in both obvious and more subtle ways.
Kenneth L. Samuel (26 Dec 19): The records in the Bible tell us that even when God sent the prophets as messengers to engage us, we ignored them, rejected them, and killed more than a few of them.
Jennifer LeClaire: In 20 years of deliverance ministry, I’ve discovered some demons refuse to leave.
Brat (in “There You Have It” 25 Dec 19): God is dealing with the ‘king of Babylon’ right now. Isaiah 14 spells it out. It’s no longer about thick skin or thin skin, vulnerability or boldness. It’s just out there for all to see. You wanted it your way, Burgher King, you got it.
Lanny Swaim: “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him…” (Job 13:15)
Tony Robinson: Today, hold in your heart Isaiah’s powerful vision for all leaders: protection of the vulnerable, making the world safer for the least powerful, taming the lions so that the lambs have a chance to live.
Israel365 (26 Dec 19): ✡ It’s a great week to be a kid! ✡
Yael Eckstein (27 Dec 19): Please respond today
Hebrews 2:11 For the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. For this reason Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters
Derrick Gates: Today God spoke saying your day of terror is done. I could see his hand laced with the sweet presence of joy come powerfully before those battling depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. I can see his hand of Joy reaching in and caressing your heart and pouring his healing balm upon your wounded spirit. No more will your depression haunt you, no longer will the sleepless nights of worry come upon you, and no longer will you pace the floors with anxiety. God is assassinating that dark spirit of suicide that is preying upon you and your leaders. Joy is now being restored in Jesus name! Receive your cup of Joy, the wine of his presence. It’s time to smile and laugh again.
Lana Vawser: There has been a major push back that many have been experiencing especially in the last week from the enemy. There has been a significant increase of push back from the enemy to cause you to withdraw but the Lord showed me that in the pressing and in the pushing that’s taking place, the warrior within is being called forth out of you.
Demontae Edmonds: Spiritual truth is powerful when embraced and put into use. Merely agreeing with God’s plans or surrendering to Him from a mental standpoint is called “mental assent.” God is calling for a “yes” that comes from deep within in our hearts and spirits. A powerful prayer that we can pray is to ask God to move our “yes” from our heads to our hearts. Psalms 42:7, “Deep calls to deep…”
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): Rabbi Dov Ber of Lubavitch, the Mittler Rebbe (in Torat Chaim) provided an interesting insight. For the tribes it was inconceivable that the man before them, totally immersed in the governing of Egypt, could be their brother. A Jew has to be involved in the spiritual side of life. It was impossible that a Jew could stay connected to the spiritual truth while being so committed to details of the physical world. He could not be their brother. He must be an Egyptian.
Kenneth L. Samuel (26 Dec 19): But our lines have been busy with vain pursuits. Our ears have been shut by the clamor of hectic lives. We’ve been too preoccupied with the pursuit of personal agendas to answer or return or even pay attention to God’s call.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): Stuck in their own perceptions, they were unable to think that this person in front of them could possibly be at a higher spiritual level than they. Nevertheless, though all the responsibilities of governing rested on him, he was still Joseph the tzadik, a Jew attached to his Creator. This was something new in the Jewish experience. He was able to be connected to G d, not only in a situation of meditation and escape, but also while involved with the world. This is the reason that the brothers did not recognize him. They did not recognize this new level of spirituality in action.
Anna Blake (27 Dec 19): Who picks the narrative matters because if you believe the first version, then the only “natural” response would be to dominate horses in training. Fighting is what equines understand. A strong leader would force respect, break the horse to obey, and the horse would be grateful to be subservient. Sure, some horses go nuts or are untrainable, but it’s their failing. Horses are naturally resistant and would only work if we forced them, so we pressure them until they submit. Sometimes the downside was the same horses could be hard to catch. So, the horses got chased until they shut down, were halter-broken, and this part still confuses me, somehow then the horses recognize or confuse the brutal human predator for a herd mate and end up being a trusting partner?
Hebrews 2:13 And again, “I will put my trust in Him.” And again, “Here am I and the children whom God has given me.”
Lana Vawser: Don’t try and fix things in the natural, don’t be distracted and allow the enemy to distract you in the natural, lift up your voice in PRAISE and watch THE LORD’S MIGHTY HAND bring the greatest and most tangible shift that you have ever seen. The foundations of mountains are shaking and these mountains are about to MOVE. Don’t give up! Stand up! Fight again!
Rev. James Liggett: Have you ever noticed that when you get together with your family and start telling stories about when you were growing up, or what happened years ago, the same events sound very different as different people tell the story? Depending on who’s describing it, the guy who used to live across the street was a scrooge or a saint. Moving from one town to another was either a disaster, a wonderful escape, or a thing indifferent, hardly noticed. Same event, different folks in the family, different point of view, radically different ways of telling the same story.
Anna Blake (27 Dec 19): You could look at the very same herd and tell a different narrative. You could acknowledge that the horses spent most hours of the day peacefully grazing or standing head to tail, swishing flies. The herd attends births with curiosity; mares dote on their foals and geldings sometimes play the part of wise or silly uncles. That the whole herd watches out for each other, there are special friendships, and a near-invisible old mare with scars and experience who stands in the background. No stallions fight to the death, but there are some bitey-face games. On warm mornings, they like to nap together. No matter the size of the pen, they practically touch each other. Some days you think the old gelding is the herd leader but when the old chestnut mare dies, the herd mourns with particular heartbreaking anxiety. Each horse seems lost. In hindsight, you’re sure it was always her.
Johnny Enlow: I was awakened this morning to a vision of a crack opening in the heavens and blinding light coming from it. As the vision unfolded I was given understanding that beginning today Christmas and through December 31st that it would be a time of “Damascus Road” blinding and restoring lights. Acts 9 tells of Paul’s conversion experience through such a light. He was pretty much the Osama Bin Laden of the church and while on his way to Damascus a bright light from heaven descended on him that blinded him naturally for 3 days while immediately opening his spirit eyes to the reality of who the Lord was. In one moment the persecuted church received a reprieve and the great apostle Paul was seized on behalf of the kingdom of God. No one seemingly prayed it in, nothing else seemed catalytic to this experience other than the Lord saying “I have chosen him for an important assignment.” The terrorist became the chief apostle.
Lanny Swaim: Today, there is a remnant of Believers, chosen by God to be on the cutting edge of where He is taking the Church and the world, who must experientially know this deeper trust. God is requiring it of them, because it is only in possessing this deeper trust that they can be trusted with and walk in a much greater authority.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): The level that Joseph attained, and that each of us can also attain, reveals the purpose of Creation. G d made the world to inject into it the light of holiness. If a person hides himself, even though he might be creating the best environment for himself to serve G d, he is nevertheless not sanctifying the world or connecting it with holiness. Instead, he is strengthening the position that the world and G d are separate and contradictory.
Chabad.org (26 Dec 19): Can you be their light?
Kenneth L. Samuel (26 Dec 19): But thank God, I’m not God. All of human history is an attempt, at God’s initiative, to enter into a dialogue of covenantal relationship with humanity. The biblical record is replete with the records of countless attempts by God to dialogue with us in our searching, in our desperation, and even in our despair.
Isaiah 63:9 in all their distress. It was no messenger or angel but his presence that saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
Derrick Gates: Your Day of Terror is Over, Smile and Laugh Again
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): When a Jew is involved in the world yet does not compromise his spiritual values one iota, he imbues the physical with Divine light. By using Jewish ideas to find solutions to our problems, by doing business honestly while at the same time keeping Shabbat and set times for Torah study, by not hiding our Judaism, we are living proof that it is possible to serve the community faithfully and honestly and still be a Jew, as the Torah requires. When each action of every Jew is done in this way, infusing G d into the world, this would be total fulfillment of the purpose of the world. No one says it is easy. Still, the Jewish people are connected to Joseph, (see Psalms 80:2) and can draw strength from him to succeed. We must not be controlled by the world that surrounds us but rather persist in our spiritual mission: To enlighten the world with the light of Torah and its commandments.
Isaiah 63:8 For he said, “Surely they are my people, children who will not deal falsely”; and he became their savior
Yehudah Glick (26 Dec 19): Please consider donating! The work of Shalom Jerusalem to lobby decision and lawmakers to change the law, to advocate for religious freedom on the Temple Mount, and to connect the nations to Jerusalem, is not cheap. Our success is only through God’s hand and your continuous support.
Anna Blake (27 Dec 19): More of us look at our herds in our pastures and believe the second narrative is truer. That most of the time, horses share their lives in peace, that they willingly cooperate in the herd. We find that the less we attack them, the less we behave like predators, the more horses volunteer. It’s humans who need to be respectful of how horses think. It is literally possible to build trust through two-way communication with calming signals and our “body-voice.” How can any of us even sleep, it’s so exciting! The more willing horses are to be ridden and the more reliable they become. Trust thrives, fewer injuries for both, and relationship becomes more important than we ever imagined because we finally recognize it’s the foundation of their herd life. Leadership is feeling safe. Everybody wins.
Lanny Swaim: Actually, if our desired outcome is to just eliminate the problem, we haven’t completely surrendered. We must completely lay down our lives in order to receive them back again. But completely laying down our lives means that we may never receive them back again. And, yet, if we can come to that point, we will receive it back again, only it will not be our lives, but the Lord living His life in and through us.
Yael Eckstein (27 Dec 19): Kathryn, this moment changed us…
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): The great and renowned Torah scholar, Rabbi Chaim Ozer Gorodetsky was once in the Town of Krakow for Chanukah. Towards evening his coat tore so he went to the house of the town’s tailor to have it repaired.
Brat: Well, Reuben threw Joseph under the bus and nabbed his coat, so maybe this is a divine reversal; some sort of redemption point? I completely know how Joseph must have felt, because my “Reuben” threw me under the bus, Rabbi Leiter. You understand what I’m talking about.
Kit Novotny: Prayer
Mamadada God, you know us through and through. Sometimes, all our God-talk can feel like so much grasping and blather. How can we mere baby mortals strive to speak of and to you, Creator of the universe, ultimate and infinite Mystery? It’s like, ba ba ba. goo goo ga. But you know what we mean.
Jennifer LeClaire: There are clear reasons why. Sometimes, the problem is with the deliverance ministry. Other times, it’s with the one who seeks to be set free.
Anna Blake (27 Dec 19): I keep thinking of that adage: If you’re a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Aren’t we the ones picking the fight? Why do we think aggression is the logical language?
Kenneth L. Samuel (26 Dec 19): You’d think all that would be enough for God to completely cut off all communication with us and leave us to languish in the empty splendor of our self-centeredness.
Hebrews 2:14 Since, therefore, the children share flesh and blood, he himself likewise shared the same things, so that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil
Anna Blake (27 Dec 19): Is the herd dynamic one of fighting or cooperation? Is the question who is in charge or is the herd safe? An aggressive fight for control or some relaxed horses singing kumbaya? And my personal pet peeve: Where did we get the crazy notion that the horse who over-reacts with the most fear and insecurity is the alpha? Why don’t we value quiet confidence? The perspective we tell stories from, do research from, and build opinion from, come from beliefs so deeply woven that we believe them without question. We live in a patriarchal culture. Men generally control the narrative and women are so used to it; we think it’s normal.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): The tailor apologized, saying that he would have to light Chanukah candles first. The Rabbi said he would wait in his house until after the lighting. This wasn’t due to impatience to get his coat sewn. Rather it was an opportunity to see how a simple tailor would light his Chanukah candles.
Lanny Swaim: As I walk more and more in this reality, I find that I no longer ask for much. It’s not that I never ask, or that I don’t speak the Word over the circumstances and situations of my life; rather, I realize that the outcome is dependent on His faith instead of on my faith. And however He chooses to manifest His promises in my life is okay with me.
Rev. James Liggett: They all talk about light—the light of the star, the light that shone around the shepherds, the true light that enlightens everyone. They all continue Isaiah’s vision of light shining on those who live in darkness. Where Christ is, people who understand talk about light. They have to—there is no better image of what is going on. The light shines in the darkness—John proclaims. And somehow, we understand this and we understand that this truth cannot be better expressed in any other words.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): The tailor took off his work clothes and put on Shabbat garments. Afterwards, he lit the candles with great love and enthusiasm and then sat by the candles, all the time entranced in singing songs and praises of the Holy One Blessed Be He. At the end of half an hour, he changed back into his work clothes and completed the repair.
Lanny Swaim: Regardless of the outcome of the circumstances of my life, I am victorious because I completely trust in Him. In other words, the outcome of my circumstances doesn’t determine whether or not I win. My trust in Him and Him alone determines that.
Johnny Enlow: I saw that for these next 7 days there would be unusual miracles initiated sovereignly by God and His sudden light from heaven. Yes it is a general response to hopes and prayers and promises – but it is the dimension of heaven opening a crack and bypassing all normal resistance. Miracles of healing, miracles of injustice being stopped, miracles of unlikely promises fulfilled, miracles of restoration, miracles of strategic intervention are designed for us all across the earth these next 7 days. The same blinding light that stopped the terrorizer of the church also ignited him into strategic destiny. The light of these next 7 days is strategic. Those who encounter it will see that it is for a greater call than just themselves. What gets stemmed and what gets ignited will affect the nations. The Light of the world will exercise His right as Sovereign King. Carefully laid plans of the enemy will be brought to a screeching halt and latent plans of God will be unveiled and ignited. Merry Christmas to all!
Kenneth L. Samuel (26 Dec 19): At Christmas, God is still speaking. And after so many attempts, I hear God saying, “Can you hear me now?”
Rev. James Liggett: Also, by that light that has come into the world, we begin to see God clearly for the first time. “No one has ever seen God,” John reminds us. But God is made known to us in Jesus. So, everything we thought about God, everything we had figured out, everything that we were sure we knew about God—all of this is put to the test in Jesus. Who God is, in relationship to us, is fully revealed in Jesus. Not in one saying or one parable or one miracle—but in all of him: in his life, ministry, death, and resurrection. Through all of these together, we finally have the light to see God.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (26 Dec 19): Rabbi Gorodetsky would tell this story with great emotion and concluded, “If this is how a simple tailor behaves, I can easily understand why the town of Krakow merited to have so many great scholars.”
Lanny Swaim: Saints of the remnant, we are being prepared and positioned to fulfill our destinies in the Kingdom of God, and while that process sometimes appears to be anything but success, we know that He will not fail, and our future is in His success and not our own.
Yehudah Glick (26 Dec 19): Kathryn, Keep Spreading the Light!
Frank and Jennifer Marten: We know that when life is difficult everything gets murky/dark. But please know that Jesus provides everlasting joy by being a light through darkness! May He be your light this season and for years to come – for that is why He came and was born!
Verse of the Day (26 Dec 19): Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.” ~ Luke 2:28-32 NIV
Yehudah Glick (26 Dec 19): A great change is happening in Jerusalem… a change that Shalom Jerusalem, with your help, is striving to continually bring. Help us spread the light!
Isaiah 63:7 I will recount the gracious deeds of the LORD, the praiseworthy acts of the LORD, because of all that the LORD has done for us, and the great favor to the house of Israel that he has shown them according to his mercy, according to the abundance of his steadfast love.

There You Have It 25 Dec 19

25 Dec

Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2019
[6 pages]
Journal: Merry Christmas. UCC says, “God’s ugly baby”, huh? And yesterday evening I had posted “Boss Baby:” https://truthinus.wordpress.com/2019/12/24/boss-baby-24-dec-19/
Bill Johnson: Jesus was born in a manger. He’s not that picky where He shows up. In actuality, He is attracted to brokenness and messes. There is no end to the presence of His grace that overrides every circumstance. There is no end to His joy and His peace. There is no end to His government.
Rick Joyner: One of the most memorable statements to ever open a book was, “It was the best of times, and the worst of times.” This could be said of all times, and it is true today.
Bill Johnson: Merry Christmas! This is the simple Gospel.
Monk: Jesus is with us through these times.
Brat: And yesterday Sophia had posted some thirty pictures of her family, showing their health progression when they got out from under the narcissistic abuse. And this word has to bring up the photos and the critical mother-in-law?
Are they setting a table in the presence of our enemies?
Revelation 11:10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.
Evidence of Parasites
Brat (in “Boss Baby” 24 Dec 19): Now, isn’t it creepy that Sophia and I [sheep] were talking and praying on the phone just last night (22 Dec 19) and she used that word ‘parasite’ to describe the spiritual warfare? We rebuked it out of the shepherds’ house and cast the evil spirit [!] into hell’s lake of fire for all eternity, commanding it never to return again. Either UCC has the phone bugged, computers tapped, and are trolling our Facebook pages, or you are stalking our prayers and that is witchcraft. Or it could be all of the above!
Sophia Valentina Buller (23 Dec 19): ALL TORMENTING SPIRITS WHO HAD THE NERVE TO ATTACK YOU HAVE JUST FOUND THEMSELVES IN THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR ETERNITY IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Psalm 97:10 The LORD loves those who hate evil; he guards the lives of his faithful; he rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
Rick Joyner: What is the tipping point? What is the percentage of people in a place that must serve The Lord, or the issues that we must side with Him on, that will gain His favor and protection? With Abraham’s intercession for Sodom, The Lord said that He would spare that city if there were just ten righteous in it. Did Abraham stop his inquiry before The Lord would stop? Why didn’t Abraham ask again if He would spare the city if there were just five, or even one, righteous in it? Of course, there was one righteous living in it, one who Scripture calls “Righteous Lot.” Yet, The Lord did not spare the city just for him. Why?
Israel365 (25 Dec 19): “And what,” I asked him, “are those two olive trees, one on the right and one on the left of the menorah?” ~ Zechariah 4:11 (The Israel Bible™)
Sarah Hurwitz (in “Boss Baby” 24 Dec 19): While human beings often manufacture identical products, according to Jewish tradition, God created each human being to be entirely unique. Whether or not you buy the theology here, you can appreciate the sentiment: There has never been anyone else like us and there never will be, and we each have a unique contribution to make to the world.
Bill Johnson: It would be easy to make a strong theological case for developing many different qualities found in the nature and character of Christ. We know the importance of faith, for “…without faith, it is impossible to please Him…” (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV). We know that there is faith, hope, and that “the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13). I could go through a great list of vital attributes of God. But I have a sense that peace and joy are the things that will stop your neighbors in their tracks, as they illustrate the reality of the Kingdom of God so beautifully (Romans 14:17). There is a wonderful connection between these two realities.
Revelation 11:11 But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.
Bill Johnson: Naturally, we think, Let me work my way out of this righteous sorrow and then maybe in three days I can feel a little joy. But Nehemiah is telling them to be joyful now. It’s obvious that they didn’t feel like it, but the joy he is talking about is not that kind of joy. The joy of the Lord is sometimes the kind of joy you get when you rejoice.
Rick Joyner: Perhaps the Lord would have spared Sodom if there had been just a few more righteous in it, or if Lot had been more righteous. This is not revealed, perhaps because we are so prone to target the least needed to get by. Leaving this ambiguous keeps us in pursuit because the Lord does not want any to perish, but rather all to come to Him.
Israel365 (25 Dec 19): Hanukkah celebrates the victory of the Maccabees and the triumph of Jewish life and Torah learning thousands of years ago. After a miraculous military victory, the Jews returned to the Temple, but were unable to locate the necessary amount of pure olive oil to light the menorah, the golden candelabra. They found only enough oil to be sufficient for one day, but when they kindled it, the oil miraculously lasted for eight full days, marking the second miracle of this holiday. The menorah played a central role in the story of Hanukkah, and thousands of years later, also became the emblem of the modern State of Israel.
Bill Johnson: The entire community had just realized for the first time that they have been living outside of God’s plan for their lives, and Nehemiah told them to quit crying and to celebrate. Those are easy words to read on a page, but to have someone command you to be joyful when you are in the midst of repentance is almost insulting.
Rick Joyner: At what point in our walk in the ways of The Lord are we considered righteous? Under the New Covenant, we are considered righteous by faith in the atonement of Jesus on the cross. Is it enough to believe in His atonement for our eternal salvation, or do we also need to believe for the deliverance of sin in our daily life? Do we then need to believe Him for the salvation of our cities and nations? He made the sacrifice for our atonement because He loved the whole world, not just us.
Isaiah 62:8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: I will not again give your grain to be food for your enemies, and foreigners shall not drink the wine for which you have labored;
Brat (25 Dec 19): I don’t even know what this means: “won’t garner many <3’s on Facebook?” I’ve seen the “<3” plenty of times, but it has no meaning to me. And Lord, You promised that You would put an end to this siphoning off of the tithe (which is my best that I bring before King Jesus,) but Eli and sons take it for themselves [1 Sam 2] and make a mockery of Your words:
Isaiah 62:9 but those who garner it shall eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather it shall drink it in my holy courts.
Bill Johnson: In the world, you rejoice when you’re joyful; but in the Kingdom, you get joyful by rejoicing. Nehemiah tells them to stop mourning, to enter into the joy of the Lord, and the Bible says that “…[A]ll the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them” (Nehemiah 8:12). They began to celebrate because they understood.
Israel365 (25 Dec 19): ✡ Happy Hanukkah ✡ Merry Christmas
Bill Johnson: When the wise men saw the star, when they realized that the very thing they had been yearning for was coming to pass, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. “Exceedingly” has two basic definitions: excessively and violently. That doesn’t quite paint the usual picture we have of these studious, regal men who approached the King bearing gifts. But the Bible says their joy was violent and excessive.
Brat: God, show me how You can use this to be a crossover piece to something new. Where is the grace in this? Their devotional simply has more Herod in it. But You promised:
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
Rick Joyner: True disciples of Jesus can answer this because it is revealed in Scripture. True disciples are committed to knowing The Lord and His ways, as revealed in Scripture. From the Scriptures, we know that The Lord prefers to show mercy rather than judgment. When a wicked king like Ahab, one of the most evil kings ever, repented just a little and The Lord extended mercy to Him, we know the Lord’s inclination. However, The Lord showed Ahab mercy because he humbled himself just a little; nowhere is Ahab ever referred to as righteous. The mercy that The Lord showed to him was personal, and his realm still suffered terrible judgment.
Brat (25 Dec 19): Sophia, you were right when you said yesterday that God was dealing with Thyatira.
Larry Dee Harper: The refusal of Early Church leaders to do what was necessary to protect The Teaching resulted in the current situation in which individual Believers can no longer rely on the support of any identifiable body of True Believers but must instead focus on their own salvation.
Bill Johnson: And they began to weep.
Jewish Press (25 Dec 19): We’re embarrassed to be sending this to you
Bill Johnson: Before they found the Messiah, they met with King Herod. After their meeting the Bible says: “… [T]hey went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy (Matthew 2:9-10).
Revelation 2:28 I will also give that one the morning star.
Bill Johnson: Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, we rejoice without restraint when we realize that we can see our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whenever we worship in His name. Like the Magi, when we worship, our joy has a violent effect on the powers of darkness. Thank You that while we worship and enjoy His presence, He goes out and thrashes the enemy who means us harm. We praise You and delight in Him. We pray for You to help us keep our eyes on Jesus and not to self-evaluate, as the end result is always negative. Lord, we pray for access to You, the very Source of joy and peace, and to realign ourselves with a lifestyle of joy. Thank You for designing us to recognize You and for being instruments of joy and peace. Amen.
Brat: God is dealing with the ‘king of Babylon’ right now. Isaiah 14 spells it out. It’s no longer about thick skin or thin skin, vulnerability or boldness. It’s just out there for all to see. You wanted it your way, Burgher King, you got it.
Bill Johnson: This would be a totally appropriate response to conviction in most churches. But Nehemiah puts a stop to it. He says: “This day is holy to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or weep…Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:9-10)
Brat (in “Goat”19 Dec 19): Then why does Laodicea continue to push in with more grinding SILENCE week after week, like Antipas to Herod. Was he the silent witness while Herod slaughtered the Innocents and Antipas stood by, watched, and could do nothing? Evil happens when good men do nothing. Are they in collaboration with Pergamum? Jesus had something to say in Matthew 23:33-36, so I’ll let Him speak to them. Laodicea took on more than she could chew.
Rick Joyner: We know that at the end of this age the darkness will grow, but so will the light for those who walk with God. The darkness makes the light seem even brighter. As this “great and terrible” time unfolds, both the good and the evil will become more distinct. This is not a day for neutrality. The neutral, the indifferent, and the lukewarm will not endure it. Let us resolve that we will walk in more light and more love—for Him first and then for one another.
Brat: Confirmation. Thank you.
Isaiah 52:8 Listen! Your sentinels lift up their voices, together they sing for joy; for in plain sight they see the return of the LORD to Zion.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (22 Dec 19): Whether there is a person who needs physical help or spiritual guidance or a wrong that needs to be corrected or something good that needs to happen, if you see the difficulty, that is the sign that you have what it takes to make a difference.
Brat (24 Dec 19): And what about you? Don’t defer it all on to us when you could step in, too.
Bill Johnson: The enemy loves to turn us inward—searching for answers within ourselves—because there is no source of joy or life there. If he can get my focus off of Jesus and, instead, get me to start self-evaluating, the end result is always negative. But when I consider the Lord, I get to access the very source of joy and peace. I get to realign myself with my lifestyle of joy.
DovBer Pinson: What do I need to release from my life?
Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
DovBer Pinson: Am I expressing my higher self in the world?
Bill Johnson: When the woman poured out the bottle of expensive ointment on Jesus, every one of the crowd thought it was excessive (see Matthew 26:6-13). That money could have been saved and given to the poor. But the woman had come to worship Jesus, and the fragrance of that filled the house. None of the other expressions of worship in that room were written about in the Bible. Her story, though, will be spoken of forever. Maybe it’s time to be known for our excessive worship of Jesus our Savior.
Isaiah 52:10 The LORD has bared his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Israel365 (25 Dec 19): This year, Hanukkah coincides with Christmas and is a wonderful reminder of the warming relationships between Christians and Jews. Thank God we are living at a time when more of God’s children are turning towards Him with a shared love for the Land and the People of Israel.

Molly Baskette: God’s Ugly Baby

God’s Ugly Baby
Molly Baskette
While they were there, the time came for her to deliver her child. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. – Luke 2:6-7 (NRSV)

Let’s be honest. Newborns are not beautiful. Except, perhaps, to their parents—a familial imperative.

Newborns are wrinkly. They are blotchy. They have acne. We might overlook all of this if they would only behave—sleep sweetly on cue, keep their poop cloistered in snug diapers, ask for what they need calmly, with a please and thank you and a real social smile. But they just won’t cooperate.

Given the bad behavior, and general fugliness, of newborns, it’s amazing our species has survived.

But behold Jesus, tiny little baby and the Savior of the Cosmos. God seems to be saying something here. He’s a baby like any other—cradle cap, mewling squall—and he’s God own ugly baby.

“God’s ugly baby is named Vulnerability,” says the prophet-preacher Rev. Lynice Pinkard.

Do you dare to hold this baby, love this baby, welcome this baby into your heart? Even if he’s not pretty yet, needs a little Photoshopping before your critical mother-in-law sees him, won’t garner many <3’s on Facebook?

Do you dare to let yourself be broken open by this ugly baby, Vulnerability? Which means, today of all days, do you dare to let go of your expectations of having an ideal Christmas? Let yourself be imperfect and vulnerable, wrinkly from hard use, blotchy after a good cry, acned with personal blemishes, not always smelling of roses–and just as God made you?

And then, loving this baby gift of vulnerability in yourself, are you willing to let everybody else be imperfect and vulnerable too? Just for today? Then you will know Christmas.

Prayer
Fourth-Trimester Newborn Baby Jesus, it’s cold and uncomfortable and too rough for your thin skin here on Earth. Thank you for showing up like that—it makes the rest of us who feel a little thin-skinned ourselves know we are on the right track. Amen.

Mary Luti: O Holy Night
Rachel Hackenberg (23 Dec 19): Are We There Yet?
Mary Luti: In the realm of heavenly peace, jittery angels wait for God’s signal to fly.
Cheryl (23 Dec 19): Busy day for me so can’t write as much as I’d like to: But yes YES yes!!!! Jesus is the Angel Jacob wrestled with. I was just reminding my husband of that story early last week.
Lana Vawser (24 Dec 19): At the start of last week I had an encounter with the Lord and He showed me large books and on the front of the book it said “BOOKS OF BEGINNINGS”. The Lord showed me that in this new era there are going to be many BEGINNINGS.
Cheryl (23 Dec 19): I told him that I find it amazing he sent his family and ALL his possessions over the Ford of Jabbok first, and THEN he wrestled with God. Alone with God~ Wow! Does that equate to utter foolishness or immense faith??? Not knowing God so well, might lead one to lean towards the former, but for those who have tasted the bitter Sweet cup of Jesus gracious proposal, we tend to lean towards the latter.
Isaiah 62:9 but those who garner it shall eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather it shall drink it in my holy courts.
Generals
Brat: Be forewarned! This is not a cuddly chapter of Christmastide fluff in our collective story!
Sarah Hurwitz: While human beings often manufacture identical products, according to Jewish tradition, God created each human being to be entirely unique. Whether or not you buy the theology here, you can appreciate the sentiment: There has never been anyone else like us and there never will be, and we each have a unique contribution to make to the world.
Monday, December 23, 2019 Journal: Forgive me, Jesus, but where is the touch of correction that Cheryl talked about? Weren’t we supposed to have a course correction? Am I being willingly ignorant? (2 Pt 3:5) The goddamn SILENCE from the Church leaders continues. I’m not talking about Cheryl, I’m talking about the Generals in this Ender’s Game from those who read me behind the scenes while I have no sanctuary over here. (And now I will be alone for Christmas? Oh well. O wait! Friends came through! Thank You, God!) Over the course of two days I have shared three pieces: “Kneeling”, “Goat”, and “Borg”. That is a whole lot of time and effort and craftsmanship (in the rain, no less), not to mention the cost of printing out the many rough drafts it takes to do this, and to steward our collective story and my calling and commission for Your Sake, all for no compensation or heavenly reward. (2 Pt 3:9)
Isaiah 62:8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: I will not again give your grain to be food for your enemies, and foreigners shall not drink the wine for which you have labored;
Lana Vawser (24 Dec 19): In this encounter I had with the Lord He showed me the BREAKING off of these ‘word curses’. There are whirlwinds of jealousy, there have been poisonous words and whispers behind backs but the Lord is dealing with it all.
Brat (24 Dec 19): I used the word phrase ‘The goddamn SILENCE from the Church leaders’ and now you bring this up again by Arc Speak? Who is whispering behind whose back?
Monk: Is this the time to cry “Wolf! Wolf!”?
Brat: Maybe so.
Sergei Prokofiev (Vancouver Symphony Orchestra): “Peter and the Wolf” [https://youtu.be/MfM7Y9Pcdzw]
Sophia Valentina Buller (23 Dec 19): TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHETS NO HARM IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Sarah Hurwitz: There is a great deal of Jewish commentary on speech—about gossip, shaming, lying, and more—and a verse from the biblical book of Proverbs warns, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” This may seem hyperbolic, until you consider this quote from Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel: “The Holocaust did not begin with the building of crematoria, and Hitler did not come to power with tanks and guns; it all began with uttering evil words, with defamation, with language and propaganda.”
Brat: And with SILENCE.
Mary Luti: In the little town of Bethlehem, strangers who came to be counted lie four to a bed in bad motels, grateful for any bed at all. Innkeepers and beggars count the bonus coins of these last days, a temporary gladness. Crouching at corners, hard soldiers familiar with blood are tossing dice, muttering curses, ears cocked for trouble.
Boss Baby: [https://youtu.be/SrLbt4cOYsI]
Brat (23 Dec 19): For since the fathers like Sardis fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (2 Pt 3:4) …
Cheryl (23 Dec 19): Hi dear sister~ now I need to go read the letter to Sardis I forget what that church was up too???
Sarah Hurwitz: Like tikkun olam, we take for granted that “loving the stranger” is a core Jewish value—but its origins are quite radical. In the Torah, God repeatedly tells the Israelites to care for the stranger “for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.” But God seems to be getting way ahead of Godself, addressing a problem the Israelites did not face. The Israelites were a powerless group of former slaves under constant attack from rival peoples—they were the strangers of the ancient world. But the Torah seems to anticipate a time when the Israelites would be well-established enough to have a say in how the strangers among them would be treated. And again and again, it tells us: No matter how powerful or secure you may one day become, your fundamental moral orientation must always be in the direction of the outsider, for in some essential and eternal way, the plight of the stranger was, and always will be, your own.
Herod
Mary Luti: In Jerusalem, Herod sleeps in a velvet chamber, Egyptian cotton under his chin, digesting a dinner of lamb and mint, dreaming of music and wine.
Jo (23 Dec 19): He is smiling deep within the frozen cavern that is his heart.
Isaiah 62:6 Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted sentinels; all day and all night they shall never be silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest,
Sarah Hurwitz: Tikkun olam has become a catchphrase for social justice in contemporary Jewish life—and for good reason. Our emphasis on repairing the world speaks to something centrally Jewish: our belief in human responsibility. Jewish worship isn’t just about contemplation or petition, it’s about action. We don’t just sit around believing in God, or asking God for things and having faith that it will all work out for the best. We are empowered and expected to act.
Jo (23 Dec 19): He is a cruel empty little man.
Victoria Boyson: The Anointing of God Meets the Arrogance of Man
Jo (23 Dec 19): Let the big fat arrogant bear shit all over the woods…….
Brat (23 Dec 19): But the DAY of the Lord will come as a thief in the night … (2 Pt 3:10)
Sarah Hurwitz: One who destroys a life, Jewish tradition tells us, is considered to have destroyed the entire world; one who saves a life has saved the entire world. A person is not a statistic, or a unit of GDP, but a boundlessly precious being who has an entire universe of potential. This may seem obvious, but how many of us have walked right by a homeless person on the street who asked for our help? If that person had been a celebrity, would we have stopped? If we had seen a laptop lying on the street, would we have stopped?
Rachel Hackenberg (23 Dec 19): For many of us, our best lives are always located in some distant place in the future. But what if our best life is ready to be lived by us today, in the here and now? Many of us are always reaching past our present and searching beyond our circumstances to find satisfaction. But what if this really is as good as it gets?
Jo (23 Dec 19): He has to poach emotion. I pray God to help here
Revelation 3:2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.
Brat: Herod is not the ‘Boss Baby’, Jesus is!
Mary Luti: Then the angels will sing and the shepherds will run and see and the Star will explode and people in town will wonder why there’s so much noise in that back alley, ‘though not enough to call the soldiers, who will carry on tossing the dice, muttering and cursing, waiting for much bigger trouble.
Sarah Hurwitz: Translated as “loving-kindness,” chesed isn’t just an emotion—it’s a kind of action we take to help those who are physically or emotionally in need. And it generally involves more than simply writing a check or sending flowers. It’s often about showing up for people when they’re suffering and offering what chaplains refer to as “the ministry of presence.” When others are at their most vulnerable—when they’re sick, in mourning, or otherwise struggling—Judaism doesn’t tell us, “Awkwardly avoid them because they make you uncomfortable, and maybe just send an email.” We’re told, “Show up for them, and do whatever you can to make them feel loved.”
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (22 Dec 19): Whether there is a person who needs physical help or spiritual guidance or a wrong that needs to be corrected or something good that needs to happen, if you see the difficulty, that is the sign that you have what it takes to make a difference.
Brat: And what about you? Don’t defer it all on to us when you could step in, too.
John A. Nelson (in “Goat”19 Dec 19): The Pharisees have just warned Jesus that Herod wants to kill him. Herod stands for any emperor or president, any senator or congressperson, any elected or appointed official who will use power to resist the insurgency of love and grace. Jesus proclaims, “Don’t get in the way of God’s holy domain of shalom: wholeness, harmony, justice, and joy.” Jerusalem stands in for any religion where the spark of a vivid, living relationship with God has become an intricately defended set of rules.
Isaiah 62:7 and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it renowned throughout the earth.
Brat (23 Dec 19): For since the fathers like Sardis fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (2 Pt 3:4) UCC is like Sardis. And I said it in “Goat.” It’s not like that is new information. I went round and round with the Baptists about this, too, back in the day, and then a round with ICEJ. Now UCC has fallen into this mud pit of willful neglect of the inconvenient truth. This morning I started to read UCC’s Daily Devotional post and I couldn’t finish reading it. It was calloused and hard; calculated in its preachy coldness.
Rachel Hackenberg (23 Dec 19): It could mean that God is present and active, not just in our planning for tomorrow, but in how we show up today. It could mean that a change for the better is much more dependent upon our present attitudes than our future aspirations. It could mean that the hope of what we’ve been promised is directly related to the potential of what we already have.
Mary Luti: Sleep on, Herod. It will come.
Sarah Hurwitz: We proudly point out that tzedakah means “justice,” not “charity,” but why does that distinction matter? Charity is given out of the kindness of our hearts, when we feel moved to do so. Tzedakah is considered mandatory under Jewish law. We’re supposed to give it whether we feel like it or not. It’s like ensuring fair procedures in a courtroom—we shouldn’t just do so when we’re feeling particularly generous, but all the time, because otherwise the system doesn’t work. Ditto for tzedakah. In Jewish thinking, society simply doesn’t work when we neglect those in need.
Empty
Mary Luti: It’s the O holy night, the silent night, the all is calm, all is bright evening of our dear savior’s birth.
Jo (23 Dec 19): The empty chamber
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (in “The Borg” 22 Dec 19): We have a similar teaching in connection with Chanukah. Chanukah is about fighting assimilation. The Greeks and their Jewish supporters had conquered the land of Israel. Their mission: To introduce Greek culture. The Maccabees were outnumbered in every way and yet they still fought their oppressors and were victorious. We learn about the essence of the conflict from a few of the words of the prayer for Chanukah that we add three times a day in our silent Amidah prayer and whenever we say Birkat haMazon (the grace after a meal). It says that the Greeks “…emptied the inner chamber (of the holy Temple)”. The Greeks did not destroy the temple. Their intention was to introduce Greek culture together with Jewish culture. This is the meaning of the words, “emptied”. Not destroyed. Empty the One G-d’s dwelling chamber. Empty it of the power of spirituality and omnipotence of the study of the Torah and the observance of the Divine commandments in order to introduce the Greek culture of idol worship and non-spiritual wisdom. This is what the earlier line in the prayer is referring to; that they defiled all the oil that was used to light the candelabra. Oil is a hint to wisdom, whether spiritual or secular, (see Talmud, Menachot 85b). Yes, the Greeks said, light it, but not with pure oil. With adulterated oil. Holiness and secular together. If we study Torah but also give the same importance to secular wisdom, allowing it to enter the “chamber of the temple”, we have to become like the Maccabees and, against all odds, risk life and limb to prevent this from happening. The teaching of the lighting of the menorah is that with perseverance and self-sacrifice we can and should bring the light of Judaism to the world.
Sarah Yehudit Schneider (19 Dec 19): The idea is that the distinguishing feature of messianic times is that we will have attained messianic consciousness, which is the capacity to hold the paradox, in our bones, that all is one yet multiplicity still rocks.
Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates, prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway, clear it of stones, lift up an ensign over the peoples.
Moshe Kravitz: The Greeks defiled all the oil in the Temple chambers. Wisdom is compared to oil. The Greeks wanted to contaminate the wisdom of the Torah (Divine wisdom) with their intellectual wisdom. The positive wisdom of the Torah brings about a level of self-nullification that enables the one who learns it to fulfill Torah and mitzvahs and generally be a good person. On the other hand, the negative wisdom of the Greeks brings the one who learns it to feel himself to be a separate existence. He does whatever he wants to do, rather than what G d expects of him. The Greeks wanted to neutralize the positive wisdom, the True Reality, with the negative wisdom, the perceived reality. They wanted to make the Jews forget that the Torah is G d’s Torah, and to deny G d’s existence by not allowing the Jews to do the chukim (statutes), those mitzvahs decreed by the Torah which cannot be understood (and rationally justified) by human intelligence.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
Brat: Would you at least consider that not all of us Westerners are Greeks you should beware of bearing gifts? That not all of us are trying to assimilate you? That we really do want to lift you up as God commanded? I am here to listen. I can only speak for myself, but I believe the Remnant is also listening, and the Remnant has no intention of contaminating or diluting the oil of Divine Wisdom. We seek after God’s righteousness and bow to His holiness.
Sarah Hurwitz: I’ve spent my career largely in public service, most recently as head speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama. And having grown up with little Jewish background, for most of my life, if you had asked me what Judaism meant to me, I would have said something like, “working for social justice is how I do Judaism.” But working for social justice is also how one does Christianity, Islam, secular humanism, and many other belief systems.
Titus 3:5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy [!], through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
Brat: The heart still matters.
Rachel Hackenberg (23 Dec 19): When the sheep know that they are guided by a shepherd who allows them to lie down in green pastures beside still waters . . . a shepherd who protects them from the infestation of parasites by anointing their heads with oil . . . and a shepherd who prepares a place for them to graze on mountain table lands in the presence of their predators . . . the sheep are content to remain within the household of the good shepherd’s fold forever.
Parasites
Brat: Now, isn’t it creepy that Sophia and I [sheep] were talking and praying on the phone just last night (22 Dec 19) and she used that word ‘parasite’ to describe the spiritual warfare?
Mary Luti: For the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor, you have broken; for a child is born to us … the Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:4
Rachel Hackenberg (23 Dec 19): Then King David went in and sat before the Lord, and said, “Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?” – 2 Samuel 7:18 (NRSV)
Brat (in “Borg” 22 Dec 19): I think the angels went to the shepherds first, because they were prophetically symbolic that God was dealing with the spiritual shepherds.
Vicki Kemper: Greetings, favored ones. The Lord is with you, and the time is nigh. Do not be afraid, but rather prepare yourselves. For hearts willing, by God indwelling, the world is about to turn.
Rachel Hackenberg (23 Dec 19): For many persons, the final words of the celebrated twenty-third Psalm speak to the heavenly abode of an eternal resting place. But Psalm 23 is actually written from the perspective of a sheep. While sheep may or may not have visions of a celestial home, what they do have is a sense of security and satisfaction, as they abide within the flock of a good shepherd.
Mary Luti: Around fires in the hills, shepherds swap bawdy stories, scratch at fleas, glad for quiet, no wolf or thief.
Revelation 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
Mary Luti: In the midnight sky, the Star positions itself over the manger, dimming its light ‘til the moment comes.
Cheryl (21 Dec 19): It’s crazy how different diverse religions view the time we are in. I personally believe we are past the ” Millennial reign and near the end of the “short time” satan is released.
Mary Luti: In a nasty shed, Mary labors, Joseph is silent, the cattle are lowing, and little Lord Jesus will soon be asleep on the hay.
Cheryl (21 Dec 19): It seems God does care that we know exactly where we are in His scale of time.
Brat (23 Dec 19): Dear Cheryl, thank you for writing me back! Thank you for your thoughts and sharing 2 Peter 3. I see Sardis (Rev 3) as an integral player in causing the delays in the Day of Judgment (2 Peter 3:7). I pray for Sardis and ask Jesus to intervene. ~k
Isaiah 62:11 The LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to daughter Zion, “See, your salvation comes; his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.”
Rachel Hackenberg (23 Dec 19): Prayer
Lord beyond the joy of my destiny, please grant me real satisfaction along the journey . . . every day. Amen.
Mary Luti: It will come.
Cheryl (23 Dec 19): What Do you think? I’ve given it careful consideration and prayer~ and while I am still not completely satisfied with the extent of my hypothesis, I do believe that Jacob was like Elisha (or vice versa) ~ they were devoted to the core and did not want their Master/ Teacher to leave . . .they knew the joy of flourishing in their presence. Neither one would be satisfied with physical departure without first being blessed~ blessed beyond measure with a gift to keep them fighting this good fight of faith for the rest of their lives. . .something only God could give that set them apart unto Him~ Kinda like that New Name us saints (the overcomers) will receive.
Mary Luti: Prayer
Truly he taught us to love one another;
His law is love and his gospel is peace.
Chains shall he break, for the slave is our brother,
And in his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we;
Let all within us praise his holy name. (“O Holy Night”, verse 3)
Sarah Hurwitz: Ancient Rabbis understood the Torah’s assertion that all humans descended from Adam to mean that we are all created equal. No one can ever say “My ancestor is greater than yours,” because we all have the same ancestor. This isn’t a scientific statement, it’s a moral one: We are all part of the same human family, and none of us is more or less important than anyone else.
Isaiah 62:12 They shall be called, “The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD”; and you shall be called, “Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.”

The Borg: Resistance is futile. [https://youtu.be/rtEaR1JU-ps]
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (19 Dec 19): What’s Going on Behind the Scenes?”
Psalm 80:19 Restore us, O LORD God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved.
Rabbi Moshe-Yaakov Wisnefsky: This is the opening of the Book of Lamentations, the prophet Jeremiah’s dirge lamenting the destruction of Jerusalem. Jerusalem, the seat of the Temple, is seen as the Shechina incarnate.
John A. Nelson: Prayer
Almighty God, may there be space in us for weeping, when we perceive your prophets spurned or silenced. When we speak your great words of power—“Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Almighty!”— find us ready, we pray, to welcome your transforming grace again. Amen.
Victoria Boyson: You were created to love; it is your function. You are worthy of love, not because you’ve done something to make you worthy, but because it is what He created you for. If your earthly father says you are not lovable, remember that your Creator was your Father first and He created you to be loved!
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (19 Dec 19): We have a similar teaching in connection with Chanukah.
Daniel 2: 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (19 Dec 19): The Alter Rebbe explained that the king’s son are the Jewish people and the teachings of Chassidut are the powder made from the stone. The Jewish people are in danger and it is only the teachings of Chassidut that can save them. True, some of the teachings might be found on the floor. Of course, something tragic. But we cannot compare that tragedy to saving the Jewish people.
Kaji Douša (18 Dec 19): I love to kneel in prayer because I kneel so infrequently. It is not a regular practice in my life, too uncomfortable, too stressful on these aging, drying bones. I kneel and fold my hands and pray something like this: Come, Lord Jesus.
Lana Vawser: He spoke again: “This is the moment in time where the Church will take her SEAT like never before in the revelation that she is seated with ME and the victory that is hers in Christ and FROM that place she will STAND in the earth like never before to declare, to decree and to SEE the manifestation of My power and the supernatural invade earth like never before.”
John A. Nelson: But Jerusalem also stands for the promise of God’s intimate presence with creation and all its creatures. The sparks of holy relationship are still there. Light seeks out light: together each grows brighter, like candles added to a wreath. If we take Jesus at his word, whenever we say that verse in our communion liturgy—“Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Almighty!”—our Messiah comes within sight again.
Salvation
Verse of the Day (18 Dec 19): “Bless the Lord God of Israel because he has come to help and has delivered his people. He has raised up a mighty savior for us in his servant David’s house, just as he said through the mouths of his holy prophets long ago. ~ Luke 1:68-70 CEB
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Dec 19): DAVID YOUR ANCESTOR PRAYED FOR YOU MY DARLING SOPHIA SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Victoria Boyson: Often, Scripture equates God’s unfailing love with salvation. When we think of salvation, we think of our born-again experience, but those who were writing Scripture would not necessarily have been thinking that. Indeed, their idea of salvation would be salvation from their earthly circumstances.
Anne Ballard: Though many have been oppressed by the lie that their needs are unimportant or not allowed, God is redeeming those legitimate human needs – physical, spiritual, and emotional – and opening our eyes to them, showing us how to meet them in a healthy way.
Vicki Kemper: All her young life Mary had heard the stories: how her people had been saved time and again through this incomplete woman or that flawed man. She learned of burning bushes and holy silence, of dreams and signs, of liars and cheats, murderers, adulterers, and prostitutes who were called by God to do extraordinary things. She could recite the places and times when God had brought down the mighty, lifted up the lowly, and made the impossible imaginable.
Sarah Yehudit Schneider (19 Dec 19): Mashiach ben David is also an era but is equally a person (or, more likely, a couple). It is the collective enlightenment that characterizes our long-awaited golden age, and it is the individual[s] who will mastermind its global project of harmonizing creation into a higher order unity whose ecosystems, life forms, and human cultures function like a single organism. It is this second Mashiach that is what folks generally mean by the term, mashiach, and yet, even without the person, its future lights are still seeping into the present, so that each new moment is always a little more mashiach-like than the moment before.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: The unity of man is a wondrous thing, but it is not enough for a Jew. When you are standing on the subway, not only do you have to know what makes you the same, you also have to know what makes you different. We have a mission. The Lubavitcher Rebbe said many times, that the first exile began with Joseph being sold to Egypt. Where was Reuben, who perceived himself as Joseph’s savior? Rashi says he was chastising himself for his sins. This is incredible. Instead of being there to save a Jewish child, he was wearing sack and ashes. The exile began because a Jew was too involved in his own problems and thus was oblivious to see and act on someone else’s difficulties.
Vicki Kemper: On this final Sunday of Advent, our anticipation can become almost frantic. So beaten down are we by injustice, so deeply do we yearn for deliverance, so intent are we on looking up and down and hard and close for the arrival of our savior that we can all but forget about God’s favorite delivery system. And yet the lessons of our faith teach us that God loves to work through lives like ours.
Victoria Boyson: Awakening now, you realize that all along it was only the pruning of the Lord you’ve endured, and all the enemy has thrown at you has worked to make you an intense and glory-filled warrior of the most-high God. You went to sleep a child and awoke a mighty, fearless warrior experienced in VICTORY! God has proven once again that He is the superior power and the darkness is dispelled by the greatness of His light!
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Dec 19): YOU ARE ONE OF MY ROYAL CHILDREN I PROMISED YOUR ANCESTOR DAVID WOULD RULE AND REIGN WITH ME MY DARLING PRINCESS SOPHIA SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Leaders
David Slavin: We must ask the following: Why was the Land of Israel deprived of the manna?
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Even more, what type of work are they performing in Joseph’s dream? They are gathering stalks of grain and bundling them together. Each stalk grows separately but Joseph and his brothers bring them together. The world appears to us to be made up of many separate, unconnected things, but the truth is that everything is really part of G d’s oneness and unity. Like Joseph and his brothers in the dream, it is our job to reveal unity in everything that G d has created. His holiness is found in every part of the Creation. This is the reason the Jewish people are called “one nation in the world”. Through performing G d’s commandments the Jewish people bring out the oneness of the world.
Sarah Yehudit Schneider (19 Dec 19): Mashiach ben Yosef is more of a process than a person—it’s the inner work and outer work, inner wars and outer wars that eradicate evil so the more fragile sprout of Mashiach ben David can safely emerge. In every generation there are individuals that embody this mission more visibly than others thereby serving as the Mashiach ben Yosef at that stage of the process.
Betty King: Although this has been going on for some time and is happening even now, I believe the Lord is moving to deal with it through a generation of emerging leaders who will tackle it at its root. They will operate in a spirit of unity, releasing a fresh move of the Spirit that will make it clear to see where, how and through who divisive spirits are being empowered. They will uncover the hidden channels and access points through which murmurings, gossip, and ungodly conversations have been polluting the Church, and it will come to an end.
Rabbi Moshe-Yaakov Wisnefsky: “Wait as a widow…” [This image also applies to the Shechina], as it is written, “[Oh, how the populous city now dwells alone, the greatest amongst the nations] has become like a widow.”(Lamentations 1:1) [The Shechina] has to be like a widow during the exile.]
John A. Nelson: “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” – Luke 13:34-35 (NIV)
Rabbi Pinchas Winston: The Messiah explains that wings will only be given to the new arrivals at a much later date.
Demontae Edmonds: Years ago, I was sitting in a church service listening to my pastor preach a powerful message. In the midst of the message he said, “Some of you will be sent by God to other spiritual fathers and spiritual mothers who will help you along on your journey!” I had sat under this pastor’s ministry for 4 years and revered his ministry. He had been highly instrumental in helping me make a solid commitment to serve Christ. I had never imagined being under anyone else’s leadership.
Kaji Douša (18 Dec 19): “Who can stand when he appears?” the messenger Malachi asks.
Lana Vawser: Many of you are coming out of your grave clothes and walking in your resurrection as you see who He REALLY IS!
Romans 1:4 and was declared to be Son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness by resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord
Eli Berk: “They’ll turn to Moshiach (Messiah) and ask, ‘What is that? Angels?” the rabbi said. “Moshiach will tell them that those are the Jews who came to Israel before the Messiah was revealed.”
David Slavin: The answer to that question is as follows: In the desert, everything of a physical and materialistic nature stems from external forces. Those entities are essentially impure and grow in a land that is ruled upon by “foreign archangels”. Therefore, the fruits that grow therein can not be worthy vessels to contain the spirit of holiness. This is because an impure body cannot become the vessel for the spirit of holiness. If there were to be some holiness in its fruits and food products, they would be provided for by their [evil spiritual] rulers. Yet that possibility could not exist when it came to manna. This is because the manna comes from heaven, a place where the forces of the “foreign archangels” have absolutely no grasp.
Brat: Clueless leaders. Of course, not so with you. Jesus was Jewish and lived in Israel. His manna was pure. And He had no place to lay His head.
Anne Ballard: This month God is opening people’s eyes and hearts to what they need emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally. There is grace right now to tap into what is going on inside of us and into self-awareness, and a big part of this process is about knowing what your needs are. God has created us with legitimate needs – needs for affection, love, understanding, value, and protection (to name a few).
Brat: I think the angels went to the shepherds first, because they were prophetically symbolic that God was dealing with the spiritual shepherds.
Vicki Kemper: Greetings, favored ones. The Lord is with you, and the time is nigh. Do not be afraid, but rather prepare yourselves. For hearts willing, by God indwelling, the world is about to turn.
Matthew 1:24 When Joseph awoke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took her as his wife,
Rabbi Moshe-Yaakov Wisnefsky (in “Kneeling” 18 Dec 19): If the Shechina would “wed” the Jewish people – and thus not be in exile – and they would be found unworthy of this union, they would have to die as did their brethren when the Temples stood. Therefore, G d prefered that the Shechina remain in exile. When living in the Temple’s presence, the standards of behavior are higher, i.e. sinning is more sinful, more of an affront to the open manifestation of divinity. In exile, the Jews could be rectified gradually and safely.
Victoria Boyson: You are not worthy of love because you are perfect. You are not worthy of love because you are good-looking. You are not worthy of love because you are brilliant. You are worthy of love because GOD MADE YOU! And He made you to be loved BY HIM and that makes you extraordinary.
Brat: But what about the desolation?
Daniel 9:27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”
John A. Nelson: The stakes are high. Desolation is a possibility. Some days, it appears a certainty. And yet when we speak it with conviction—“Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Almighty!”—the Teacher returns to us again, light and love incarnate, seeking us.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (19 Dec 19): Every time one of us studies the teachings of Chassidut, we are a part of this holy legacy. Every time we push ourselves to study more and share the teachings with others, we are hastening the final redemption. The ultimate teaching here is clear. The only way to make real change is when we push past all the limits. This is true for the world, and it is true for each of us as individuals.
Streets
Doobie Brothers (1976): “Takin’ It To The Streets” [https://youtu.be/2rxWPEdYCnI]
Brat: You gotta listen to those lyrics!
Nathan Shaw: Justice is a major battlefield and the intensity of the battle will continue to increase. However, when God says, “Enough is enough,” everything re-calibrates and the scales of justice become correctly balanced. Not only is God speaking from Heaven, He is also raising up a generation that passionately loves and seeks His ways. They are hardwired for divine justice. From supreme courts over nations to everyday voices on the streets, the voice of divine justice will be heard anew. Major issues of justice will be re-energized with new wisdom, a new tone and new ways of seeing things. Divine justice releases seismic shifts in perceptions, behaviors and even laws.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: Chanukah has the same message. The Greek Syrians did not want to kill the Jews; they only wanted them to stop practicing their Judaism. We do not have to assimilate; we do have to fulfill our mission. This is the simplest reason behind the Chanukah candles. At least once in a while, a Jew has to shine out and light up the street!
Lana Vawser: This IS the era to be RE-INTRODUCED to Him and HIS power!
Nathan Shaw: God desires prophetic ministry to grow in love, depth, humility, accuracy and authority. God desires divine justice to re-calibrate and re-balance the scales of justice on the earth. God desires each generation to walk in their prophetic destiny.
Lana Vawser: I heard the Lord say “Push past the sound of chaos and you will hear the sound of divine alignment”
Rev. Deon Johnson: Emmanuel. God is with us.
Brat: I don’t know what to pray, so God, I worship You!
Demontae Edmonds: “Father, in Jesus’ name, please reveal to my heart and spirit those leaders that you ordained before the foundations of the earth to provide spiritual parenting and guidance. Although there may be tens of thousands of instructors (1 Corinthians 4:15) in the things of God, please connect me with the person or people divinely appointed to help prepare me to receive a double portion blessing and anointing as I enter this next season of My life.
Psalm 80:17 But let your hand be upon the one at your right hand, the one whom you made strong for yourself.
Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter: When the Torah tells us the dreams of a righteous person it is to teach us an important lesson. Joseph’s first dream is filled with activity: “We are standing in the fields gathering bundles of sheaves”; a Jew is always busy being G-d’s partner in Creation, making this world a home for Him.
Joint Declaration
Eli Berk: As part of the initiative, the rabbis signed a joint declaration in Hebrew.
“To our brothers, the Torah faithful Jews living outside of Israel:
The sages of Israel, from whose words we derive life, already taught us that the mitzvah (Torah commandment) to live in Israel was established as one of the greatest of the mitzvoth by Nachmanides, Maimonides, and all the other sages who establish the law…Therefore, at this time, we are sending out a holy proclamation to those who dwell outside of Israel, to wake up and hurry, and to investigate every possible way that is in your ability to come to live in Israel. You must educate your children about the great spiritual level of those who do so and to help them in every way you can to come and dwell in the Holy Land.
This is especially true now when there is a threat to the sanctity of Israel and the Jews from outside. Every Jew who moves here will be an aid in fighting off this threat to the sanctity and will establish the future of Judaism throughout the world and will merit those who come to its aid.
The one who chooses Zion and Israel will surely merit to see miracles and wonders, and may our eyes see the return of God to Zion.”
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: All this is true even though the Holy One blessed be He agreed with those blessings.
Hillsong: “O Come Let Us Adore Him” [https://youtu.be/pIj6wtHN21s]
Brat: Jesus Christ the Lord! Born the King of angels!

Rabbi Yehudah Glick (19 Dec 19): Kathryn, Re: Another Plot to Assassinate Me
Victoria Boyson: The calling on your life has made you a target. Indeed, the enemy is intensely jealous of the LOVE the Father has for you, and he hates you for having what he can never have. Yet, in the darkness of the night you’ve endured the enemy’s hatred and now the sunrise on your trial has nearly dawned.
Rev. Deon Johnson: So, God spoke louder and bolder.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai: Rabbi Chiya [continued with this theme]: Regarding Isaac [when he felt Jacob’s goatskin-covered arms] the verse states, “Are you indeed my son Esau or not?” (Gen. 27:21). And therefore regarding Jacob the verse states, “Is it your son’s tunic or not?” This is all because the Holy One, blessed be He, is meticulous with tzadikim to a hair’s breadth.
Moshe Miller (18 Dec 19): A Goat for a Goat
Sophia Valentina Buller (17 Dec 19): INSTEAD I AM CLEARING THE PATH TO FAVOR IN ME AND EXPOSING THE LIES OF THE WICKED BECAUSE THEY ARE WICKED IN JESUS NAME AND YOUR FAVOR YOU HAVE FOUND IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN RIGHTEOUS IN SPITE OF YOUR ENEMIES TRYING TO TAKE YOU DOWN IN JESUS NAME SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FIRE AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME 🔥🔥🔥
Rabbi Yehudah Glick (19 Dec 19): For me, one thing is for sure; the fact that the other side is not happy about us and what we represent – only convinces me that we must be doing something right. We must really be bringing changes into the world!
Victoria Boyson: David was victorious because he focused on God’s love for him. It was in the hiddenness of the fields where he was persuaded by LOVE to understand his God well. When David went up against Goliath, he was relying on God’s unfailing love to give him success over his enemy. Relying on the Father’s love gave him an overwhelming victory, much easier, dramatic and miraculous than any victory David would have had by relying on his own strength and talent.
Rick Joyner: So, what can we do? Though we must not underestimate the enemy’s power of deception, neither should we underestimate the power of The Lord’s truth to set people free. Above all, we must be resolute in growing stronger in the truth of His gospel. We must remain resolute in doing the three things Jesus gave us instructions to do in the unfolding of the tribulation at the end of this age: 1) stand up, 2) look up, and 3) rejoice.
Nathan Shaw: It is God who gives understanding of the times and courage to walk in them. We can be intimidated by the turbulence of transition or we can learn to ride the wave of each seismic shift. The best way to prepare is simply to know God’s heart.
Rock On
Rabbi Yehudah Glick (19 Dec 19): What kind of change have we been trying to accomplish?
Rabbi Pinchas Winston: “Until recently, history went along logically like a movie that needs a long time to set up the conclusion. As the movie comes near to the end, the plot gets more dramatic because it is wrapping up the story. Everything in the news is dramatic because we are getting close to the end. Anyone with the eyes to see understands that what is happening now, every detail, every attack against the Jews, everything that happens to Israel, actually began hundreds of years ago. We are at the wrap up, the end. The pace is picking up.”
Daniel 2: 34 While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them.
Brat: Jesus struck Claymation animation?
Saturday Night Live: [https://youtu.be/BGzO1ghRKp4]
Brat: I think there is a lot of grace in this. It’s funny without mocking.
Chuck Pierce: “I say to you; I’m beginning to stoke your fire. I’m beginning to cause some steam to arise that has never arisen. I say to you; watch for the stoking of your fire it’s going to accelerate your movement. The Lord says; things will begin to accelerate in the week ahead around you. And know this; the fire I put in you will keep up with those things.”
Rabbi Yerachmiel Tilles: “How will I be able to commune with my Creator?” Rabbi Moshe Leib wept, sighing from the depths of his heart. “I cannot stand up!” The pain did not disturb him, but he suffered greatly because he could not pray erect.
Kaji Douša (18 Dec 19): I especially delight in sanctuaries with kneelers before each pew. Sometimes we pull it down across the row in a loud “thud.” Other times congregations gave a more silent way of pulling out a support for resting on knees that could take it and arms folded in piety and prayer. It is these sanctuaries that get my most frequent visits.
Brat: I see what you are doing. You are bringing up Sanctuary and Silence yet again to test me. Narcissists know exactly what buttons to push. Button-pushing is an expertise of theirs. Are you goat-ing me? How will I react? Will I explode in helpless rage? Will I defend myself? Will I lay out my sob story again to try to help you to understand? Will I react in a godly manner? Especially since I gave a public declaration of forgiveness? How very Sardis of you. [Rev 3:1-3] For the record I will repeat what I’d said in my public declaration and let this kneeling entry be proof to bring closure on open wounds:
[Echo] Brat (in “By Example” 10 Dec 19): I forgive them for bullying and trying to force me to conform to their ways instead of them helping me to live Your way. I forgive them for treating me as invisible when the heart of the issue is Sanctuary. The road to redemption is through the core issue. I forgive them for making Sanctuary a mockery. I make sanctuary for You in my heart whether or not I get an apology from them. Forgiving them for gaslighting me and treating me as if I don’t exist but using my words anyway doesn’t mean that I condone their cruelty of behavior. It just means that it is not my burden to carry. Jesus took it on the cross. I am making a public declaration of heartfelt forgiveness of how they have treated me. I forgive them and bless them in Jesus’ Name and for HIS sake.
Victoria Boyson: Many give lip service to TRUSTING GOD, but it’s in the darkest moments that true faith is formed. The Word of God tells us our faith will be tested, so why are we surprised when it is? A faith that is built on the manifestation of the supernatural cannot always be trusted, but a faith that is built on a loving relationship of trust is unstoppable.
Matthew 1:22 All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
Sarah Yehudit Schneider (19 Dec 19): The blissful (messianic) lights of oneness cannot enter the world, until we can embrace them without melting down—without losing our selfhood and singularity. As soon as we can manage this feat, mashiach will come.
Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson: When it comes to temptation or addiction, you can’t be rational and polite. You must be determined, ruthless and single-minded. The moment you begin explaining and justifying your behavior, you are likely to lose the battle. Only after an absolute and non-negotiable “no” can you proceed with the intellectual argument behind your decision.
Lana Vawser: The Lord showed me the body of Christ being SHAKEN AWAKE and called into the place of FEROCIOUS FAITH.
Victoria Boyson: The enemy raises up people willing to hate us and uses them as weapons to break us, yet God says, “NO!” He turns the enemy’s weapons into an audience and puts on a SHOW OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU! He will make them watch while HE PREPARES A TABLE FOR YOU (Psalm 23:5). He will DISPLAY HIS LOVE for you and make them watch! For, it was their attacks against you that made you the fearless warrior you’ve become.
Brat: Like Gretchen Carlson in “Bombshell”? [https://youtu.be/0rBnkBIhoFE]
Bethel Music: “Raise a Hallelujah!” [https://youtu.be/G2XtRuPfaAU]
Brat: I raise a Hallelujah in the presence of my enemies!
Lana Vawser: The opposition that is coming against many through this slumbering spirit right now has been more intense than they have experienced before but the Lord showed me that this attack is looking for ALIGNMENT. You must PAY SPECIFIC ATTENTION to your ALIGNMENT right now and what you are giving your alignment TO. It is time to be FEROCIOUS in faith for what the Lord has spoken to you and promised you. This is the crossover moment. We have already crossed over into the new era as the body of Christ and the ‘taking of land’ is now taking place and the enemy is roaring. He is roaring attempting to bring a slumber over the people of God because there is a major worldwide shift taking place in the body of Christ right now to lead God’s people into the greater manifestation of the OVERCOMING LIFE.
Ezekiel 3:1 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.”
Brat (18 Dec 19): I did! Yesterday, I emailed “Honestly, Darling” to the rabbis at Ascent in Tsafed, Israel.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (22 Dec 19): Whether a person lights their Chanukah menorah inside their house, or in their doorway to the street or in their window, the message of Chanukah is that every Jew has a mission to be a shining light in their surroundings. This was Ascent’s inner purpose from the very beginning. Each of us is a Maccabee. Even though we might feel we are facing enormous obstacles and the chances for success are minimal, nevertheless, it is still within our ability to bring light to the dark, to transform our environment and change the world for the better.
Vicki Kemper: Prayer
Come, Lord Jesus. Let it be with me according to your promise.
Betty King: The walls had been built from words, and the words were coming from the mouths of praying Believers somehow entangled in strife, anger, competition, traditionalism, colonialism, and a sense of entitlement. Those whose words were doing the most to build the walls were actually very well-known people. Their words were separating these groups of people from one another and limiting them, and those whose words were building the walls had themselves become limited.
Nathan Shaw: The voice of the accuser causes rifts between the generations. The voice of Wisdom unifies the generations. Satan intends to use the decreasing influence of Baby Boomers and the increasing influence of Millennials to cause strife and division. We must determine not to be intimidated by the strife. God will give His Church a voice of authority and a voice of love to speak to this generation.
Herod
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (19 Dec 19): Afterward, the Alter Rebbe met with the Maggid who had been sleeping during this time. The Maggid asked the Alter Rebbe what had happened. The Alter Rebbe described the whole episode. The Maggid then shared with him that while he had been sleeping it had been revealed to him that there was a decree against him in Heaven for allowing the indiscriminate spreading of the teachings of Chassidut. However, because of the exchange between his students, the decree had been annulled.
Rev. Deon Johnson: Our world longs to see God with us. Behind the fear, the divisions, the divides we long to connect with the divine, to look for the holy in the midst of the confusion. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be grounded in the truth that God’s love is more than enough to cast out our fear. We know that God comes to us again and again seeking, searching, and sowing love. To know, to truly know, and to rest in that holy knowing, is to recognize that in Jesus Christ, God is in charge, and no matter how much we try to cling to the past, no matter how much we long for what has been, God is always pointing to the future. When we get out of our own way, when we stop worrying about buildings and budgets, pews and pledges, the real work of walking with God in the world begins. The sacred and often scary work of clothing the poor, feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, caring for the foreigner, honoring the immigrant, and blessing the other is why we follow Jesus. Maybe we should start loving (and living) like we believe it.
Brat: Then why does Laodicea continue to push in with more grinding SILENCE week after week, like Antipas to Herod. Was he the silent witness while Herod slaughtered the Innocents and Antipas stood by, watched, and could do nothing? Evil happens when good men do nothing. Are you in collaboration with Pergamum? Jesus had something to say in Matthew 23:33-36, so I’ll let Him speak to you. Laodicea took on more than she could chew.
Victoria Boyson: The Anointing of God Meets the Arrogance of Man
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (22 Dec 19): Whether there is a person who needs physical help or spiritual guidance or a wrong that needs to be corrected or something good that needs to happen, if you see the difficulty, that is the sign that you have what it takes to make a difference.
John A. Nelson: The Pharisees have just warned Jesus that Herod wants to kill him.
Victoria Boyson: You are not difficult to love, because God loved you from the first. If God loves you, then YOU ARE LOVED. Even if your father and mother hate you, God will love you completely (Psalm 27:10). If you are broken by life, God loves you unfailingly. His love refuses to stop. His love refuses to fail.
Pharisees
Kaji Douša (18 Dec 19): I love to walk into an older sanctuary with trappings that have become increasingly rare. Solid pews bolted to the floor in seating patterns that current church attendance does not support. Stained glass windows with imagery that we would design more inclusively today. Still, something about the craft and care that went into these pieces, when installed, tell me a story about a people who loved God and their church and wanted to reflect this in their giving.
Rabbi Yehudah Glick (19 Dec 19): Thank you for your donation!
Matthew 23:27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
John A. Nelson: Jesus goes right to the seat of power, in the city of Jerusalem, where authorities over the sacred and secular realms ply their trade. Jesus practically weeps, because it seems that people don’t change, and nothing’s for free. He practically weeps, because in the halls of power, whether government or temple, the prophets’ call to repentance falls on deaf ears.
Lana Vawser: God is releasing HIS JUSTICE into situations right now and the spiritual realm is rumbling but the POWER of God is going to bring major demonstration of His justice as the people of God ROAR in praise and worship. The enemy is trying to SILENCE God’s people through slumber, but it will NOT work. The SOUND of praise and worship in the earth is BREAKING the chains and ushering the POWER OF GOD into the earth like we have never seen. Undeniable miracles! The mighty declaration across the earth: “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit” says the Lord (Zechariah 4:6)
Equal
Revelation 10:11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.”
Kaji Douša (18 Dec 19): Our national discourse on when we stand and when we bend the knee seems to have forgotten something crucial:
Those of us whose bodies can take it need to practice the act of kneeling. Who can stand in the face of more than we can handle? Who can stand at the power that overwhelms? Who can stand all day long?
Lana Vawser: THIS IS the moment of POSITION. This is the moment where the army is taking her place in the position that has always been theirs in Christ.
Rev. Deon Johnson: The birth of Jesus is not an event in time that took place millennia ago. The birth of Jesus the Messiah happens again and again and again each day in our world if we stop long enough to recognize God with us. God coming into our world will always be scandalous because it means that any of us could be in the presence of God made flesh. Listen. Can you hear it? Off in the distance. It’s the sound of a newborn baby’s cry. Amen.
Sarah Yehudit Schneider (19 Dec 19): He comes down into Her nitty-gritty, earthly realm and they meet in consummate union, “face to face and completely equal.”10 [ ]
Lana Vawser: There are significant encounters taking place right now where the Lord is releasing revelation of what is being decreed in heaven, and as the people of God are aligning their voice with that decree, the way is being made for the demonstration of what it looks like for ALMIGHTY GOD to step in.
Cheryl: Kathryn~ well, you did it again!! You gave me food for thought and confirmed so many things I’ve felt the Holy Spirit telling me.
