[9 pages of dialogue anchored in Exodus 1:15-2:10 (the second half) from the lectionary readings for 12 Pentecost on 23 Aug 20]

[…Continued from “Taskmasters” …]

When Light Came In (in “Who Gathers” 16 Aug 20): If the ideas above hurt to read, if you see them and all you feel is grief for the parts of you that were systematically devalued and dehumanized by abuse, please know you’re not alone. You’re not broken, you’re not extinguished, and you’re not done being you.

Lance Wallnau (17 Aug 20): In Colossians, Paul tells us not to let anyone cheat us through philosophy, empty language, or cunning sophistication of schools of thought of men that are not according to Christ. Paul was battling persuasive false teachers here.

Binyomin Adilman: Therefore it is written, “G‑d has made the man upright…”. A person should endeavor to follow the middle path. On one hand one must not be too haughty, lauding oneself for one’s Torah and good deeds. On the other hand, one must not be too humble or unpretentious, looking down on oneself in disdain until one succumbs to bitterness in despair of one’s self worth and worth to the world. Both extremes are obstacles in the path to repentance.

Mike and Cindy Jacobs (19 Aug 20): In the book of Revelation, the Lord talks about the seven churches. The church of Laodicea was neither hot (on fire for God) nor cold (did not know God). They were lukewarm. Has the Church today become lukewarm? Have we lost our zeal and passion for the things of God? Do we still hunger and thirst after righteousness? Or, have we become comfortable being in the middle of the road with one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom? [1]

Brat to Pastor Marco (11 Aug 20): God called me on 14 May 2008 and sent me to the Seven Church archetypes right out of the Book of Revelation.  Those Churches were BULLIES!  I shared as God led (and continue to do so,) and am still met with stonewalling, gaslighting, and spiritual rape (sometimes in the form of a “Velvet Glove.”) I experienced everything the lady guest speaker was describing in the broadcast.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (18 Aug 20): The US embassy was officially opened in Jerusalem on May 14, 2018, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

“You know, it’s amazing with that — the evangelicals are more excited by that than Jewish people,” he said at the rally. “That’s right, it’s incredible.”

Brat (in “Reeling” 15 Aug 20): I confronted the Seven Churches and got hell for it.  Now I am calling out the Triangulation(s) within the company of prophets and I’m getting more hell for it.  I’m not looking to belong with the company.  But neither am I seeking to tear them down.  I know fully well that my style is odd and not marketable.  That’s not the point.  I don’t write for show.  I process by writing and after ten years I still DO NOT HAVE A PASTOR!  Where is the five-fold ministry?  [And May 14th 2008 to May 14th 2018 is ten years!!]

Mike and Cindy Jacobs (19 Aug 20): “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” (Hosea 4:6, KJV)

Exodus 1:17 But the midwives feared God; they did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but they let the boys live.

Simcha-Shmuel Treister: ParashatShoftim deals with the establishment of courts and witnesses. The Hebrew word for “evidence / eidut“, is also the letters which spell “ daat“, meaning “intelligence” – or “wit” – related to “witness”. The difference between the Torah code of evidence and all other “modern” legal systems is that a person cannot give evidence against himself. A matter is only proven by the testimony of two witnesses other than the accused.

Binyomin Adilman: One is advised to always take the upright, middle path – the path of the Torah. A triangle, or any item which is threefold, is inherently stable because of its third side. This side keeps the structure from tipping over or leaning to the right or to the left. The Talmud( Shabbat 88a) says regarding the giving of the Torah, “Blessed is the Merciful One who gave us a threefold Torah [Torah, Prophets and Writings], to the threefold people, [CohenLevi and Yisrael], by way of the threefold family [Moses, Aaron and Miriam] on the third day [of separation and purity], and in the third month [ Sivan, third month from Nissan]. This threefold quality represents the stability and eternal nature of the Jewish people.

Lance Wallnau (17 Aug 20): And that’s the thing about deception, it comes packaged in persuasion. Although the words may be persuasive, they are, in fact, deceptive. Anything that tells us anything other than the fact that we, in Christ, have the fullness of the Trinity is deception, no matter how good or persuasive it sounds.

Rick Joyner (18 Aug 20): It seems that this has been a lesson that every new generation has had to learn on their own, but there is an easier way—we can learn from history so that we do not have to keep repeating it, just as our national fathers and mothers have implored us to do. Perhaps this is a main reason why to “honor your fathers and mothers” is the only commandment God gave to His people with a promise attached—“that it will go well with you, and you may dwell long in the land that the Lord has given to you” (see Exodus 20:12). The Lord obviously cares very deeply about justice, and so must we. With all the clamor today about injustice, we must see it as an opportunity to make another pearl.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (18 Aug 20): The president’s statement was clearly accurate. The Embassy move cemented the already-close relationship between his administration and the government of Prime Minister Netanyahu and was widely praised by American Evangelicals. Religious American Jews are a small but enthusiastically faithful group owing to their close connection to Israel. But despite his promise to move the embassy, only 24% of US Jews voted for Trump in 2016. In a recent survey, more than two-thirds of Jewish voters say they will vote for any generic Democratic candidate over President Trump in the 2020 general election. This compares to 69% of Jews who voted for Obama in his second run for office despite his policies that were harmful to Israel. [2]

Amanda Grace (14 Aug 20): Those in leadership must tread carefully about bringing My firstborn Israel into AGREEMENT with those who have made backroom, covert, deals through back channels and a funneling of a large amount of cash and assets, distributed through another name to groups who want to destroy Israel

Brat (in “Reeling” 15 Aug 20): It felt like just more evidence of the “bedroom espionage” that I’d talked about in “Did You See That?”.  I may not have been surprised by their hit, but it left me reeling nonetheless.

Peggy Morris (15 Aug 20): Next to him the men of Tekoa made repairs, but their brothers did not support the work of their overseers.

Exodus 1:18 So the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and said to them, “Why have you done this, and allowed the boys to live?”

Kris Vallotton (in “Who Gathers” 16 Aug 20): The question remains, will you sit back until your soul atrophies and your moral legs become feeble, or until our children drown in the cesspool of our silence? Or will you break ranks from the crowd and take a stand for nobility? History hangs in the balance of your decision! You already know where I stand. Tell me yours in the comments below.

Wanda Alger (17 Aug 20): The devil has been trying to establish a “new normal” that includes control, manipulation, and domination of a diabolical kind. But, God has HIS new normal, and He is determined for us to see it. Familiar spirits are trying to keep people in their comfort zone with a desire to “go back” to how things were. God, however, is trying to get our attention to prepare us for another reality. The fact is, we were never created to be “normal.” We are made in the image and spirit of a God who is unnatural and unfathomable. We have been created for the SUPERNATURAL and it is this reality He is training us for. [3]

Christian Harfouche (17 Aug 20): I want to prepare us. There are certain things we are being prepared to face. And the next time we face a flinch from our adversary—maybe in 2 or 3 years from now—we will swat him like you swat a fly with a swatter.

Brat to Kris Vallotton (in “Who Gathers” 16 Aug 20): I have been consistently sharing and have been drowning in the cesspool of silence anyway from the controllers, because my gift is not valued by the leadership.  If I could offer a word of wisdom in the noise, it would be: Gotta unpack the bags from the camel in order to get through the eye of the needle. []

From God through Sophia Valentina Buller (18 Aug 20): I am making beauty from ashes. I am making it right, but you need to obey Me, My darlings.  Every person I used in the Old Testament (and in the New) went through things.  And so if you feel like it is all falling apart, crashing apart, and for no fault of your own, and it just feels like nothing can be made right, and you are being accountable for your actions you, and you are being humble, then consider that maybe (and you have sought My voice and obeyed Me) then considered maybe, maybe, just maybe, I am using you and that you are a Joseph or a David or an Esther. Consider that your pain is used for greater calling.[4]

Isaiah 56:For this is what the Lord says:

“To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths,
who choose what pleases Me
and hold fast to My covenant—

Sophia Valentina Buller (18 Aug 20): God is avenging the scapegoats.

Amanda Grace (14 Aug 20): Netanyahu has moved Israel into position as in a chess match to say “we tried we came to the table we agreed to come together” he has positioned them so blame shifts to another when parts of this as sand begin to crumble. Yes Israel wants peace says the Lord God Elohim, HOWEVER, in a hotbed of explosive activity they are looking for security and protection as intelligence is pointing a big red arrow of warning and this shall for a season neutralize part of a threat to focus on a greater threat, for Netanyahu is attempting to avoid fighting a war on two fronts says the Lord God Jehovah.

Exodus 1:19 The midwives said to Pharaoh, “Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; for they are vigorous [!] and give birth before the midwife comes to them.”

Wanda Alger (17 Aug 20): The FOUNDATIONS of the earth have been literally shifting as this mountain of the Lord has been moving and gaining momentum with great power, now breaking through the earth’s surface to displace everything in its way. I realized that we haven’t been reacting to the devil – he’s been reacting to US! It is the sons and daughters of the Kingdom that have been praying and standing who are rising up in the earth to displace the devil’s mountains and causing all the shaking! It is because people are praying, people are standing, and people are speaking God’s truth that foundations are moving and being realigned as the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior is now being established.

Exodus 1:20 So God dealt well with the midwives; and the people multiplied and became very strong.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (18 Aug 20): He also noted other pro-Israel achievements of his administration.

Peggy Morris (15 Aug 20): As I pray about the times that we are in and all that is going on around us, I continually hear the Lord say, “Love and minister to the people around you. I am drawing the defining lines.” I have felt His heart for family, friends, and the people that are around us everyday. This is our assigned section! As we reach out, love, pour into and minister to the people that is in our realm of influence, we will be doing our part in what the Lord is calling us to in this season. As we work along side other believers, we will build that which Jesus has commissioned us to do.

When Light Came In (17 Aug 20): They really tried — trust me, I’ve been there and I get it — but they can’t take *who we are.* That was and will always be ours alone. Part of recovery from abuse is blowing on those dim embers of our best parts, coaxing them back to flame and light. At first, it takes everything in us to believe it’s true. But with each breath, the light grows. It warms us, draws us near, fuels hope.

Exodus 1:21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.

Nate and Christy Johnston (18 Aug 20): WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!

Christian Harfouche (17 Aug 20): Kathryn, I am speaking to you prophetically…

When Light Came In (17 Aug 20): You’re light is yours, dear one. Don’t give up.

Rick Joyner (18 Aug 20): The Salem witch trials were an incomprehensible tragedy that remains a dark stain on American history. By some accounts, these went to the extreme that if one were just accused of being a witch, they would be submerged in water past the time when one could survive underwater. If one did survive, they believed it was through evil supernatural power and they were executed. If they drowned they would be pronounced innocent of the charge, but were still dead. [5]

Exodus 1:22 Then Pharaoh commanded all his people, “Every boy that is born to the Hebrews you shall throw into the Nile, but you shall let every girl live.”

Peggy Morris (15 Aug 20): God is frustrating the plans of the enemy by exposing the lies and threats that have come against His children! “Everything hidden and covered up will soon be exposed. For the façade is falling down and nothing will be kept secret for long.” (Luke 12:2 TPT)

Exodus 2:1 Now a man from the house of Levi went and married a Levite woman.

Brat: It seems that sometimes Politics and Religion seem to be wed at the hip.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (18 Aug 20): “What the president said was sadly true.  When Trump announced that he was moving the embassy, where were the rabbis?” Rabbi [Nachman] Kahana said. “They should have been standing up to tell the people to take the next step; to go up to the Temple Mount. Where are the rabbis who should be yelling night and day for the Jews to repent, for the Jews to come home to Israel?”

Yehudah Glick (19 Aug 20): The prophet Joel repeats again and again that in times of unprecedented universal challenges, the People are to blow the shofar in Zion. Today we are facing an unprecedented worldwide pandemic, that has brought on economic and social crisis. We have been blessed that in our age the Jewish People have returned to their Homeland, Jerusalem has been declared the undivided capital and foundation stone of all faith, and the Temple Mount is in our hands.

Peggy Morris (15 Aug 20): “Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests and built the Sheep Gate. They consecrated it and set up its doors; and they consecrated the wall (westward) to the Tower of the Hundred, as far as the Tower of Hananel.

Lovesick Scribe (17 Aug 20): My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 ESV

Yehudah Glick (19 Aug 20): Now the time has come to demand: LET THE SHOFAR BLOW!
Let the Shofar blow on Mount Zion, the throne and castle of The Lord.
Let the shofar blow from all over the planet.
Let the shofar blow and call out to The Lord in the name of all humanity.
Get your own Shofar and join the Shalom Jerusalem Foundation blowing the shofar of redemption all over the world!

Apostle Doctor Christian Harfouche (17 Aug 20): We are stepping forward into the greatest most elite force in humanity, and that is the elite forces of the army of the Lord. I am a soldier, I am a general, I am a prophet in the army of the Lord!

Lovesick Scribe (17 Aug 20): There was a time when I thought that my vision was without impediment. From personal revelations left unchallenged or tested by Scripture to sitting under teaching rooted in Word of Faith and gradually evolving into beliefs centered around the New Apostolic Reformation, I was entrenched in doctrine that led to the wool being pulled over my eyes. I was a sheep standing on the edge of a cliff and did not even realize the perilous fall potentially set before me. The view from the edge seemed exciting and powerful, full of promises of notoriety and divine revelation, stamped by an “apostle” issuing prophetic decrees with God’s name said to have sealed it. The landscape was heavy laden with ministry promotion, miracles, signs and wonders, power in demonic spiritual warfare, omen reading, and mantles of said generals that were waiting to be picked up and carried onward and upward. For almost two decades, I climbed a “spiritual mountain” and believed things that were imbalanced and unbiblical. Then something happened that turned my world upside down and right side up. I heard the voice of the Shepherd in the most unlikely of ways. It was in the twisting of Scripture from the man I had known as my “spiritual father” and self proclaimed apostle. God was pulling the wool from His sheep’s eyes, and a question breached the super spiritual barrier, “What was I sitting under?”[6]

Christian Harfouche (17 Aug 20): Today, I rewind in your life, by the authority given to me, the strength, the youth, and the energy and vitality. And with the wings of a spiritual eagle, you will mount up above everything and anything that is on your prayer list to see with eyes of focus and eyes of clarity. You are about to see! You have won this battle before it manifested!

Exodus 2:2 The woman conceived and bore a son; and when she saw that he was a fine baby, she hid him three months.

Brat: This sounds so much like the story of the Woman in Revelation 12 (again)!

Pastor Steve Dittmar (18 Aug 20): Prayer is more a matter of the heart than words. Our words can be correct, but if they do not represent our hearts, then we go unheard. It is not that God does not know that we are praying or long to respond; but rather our approach toward God in self-righteousness, rather than through Christ’s righteousness, leaves us outside of His forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no heavenly intervention. I have said many times that forgiveness has been given to all humanity, but it still has to be received. To be accepted, there must become an awareness of the need. [7]

Brat: Where is the evidence of your mercy?

Wanda Alger (17 Aug 20): When I shared this on Sunday with a group of prophetic intercessors, one of them shared that he had been awoken out of a sound sleep last week by the audible voice of the Lord calling his name. He said it startled him and the Lord asked him if he was listening. He said he was! Then the Lord said, “Just as I startled you out of a sound sleep, so I am about to STARTLE THE CHURCH FROM THEIR SLUMBER!” The Lord is about to send supernatural shockwaves that will shake UNBELIEF that is rampant in the Church.

Exodus 2:3 When she could hide him no longer she got a papyrus basket for him, and plastered it with bitumen and pitch; she put the child in it and placed it among the reeds on the bank of the river.

Christian Harfouche (17 Aug 20): The Lord directed me that today I speak to the Global Church—our family that is in different states in the Union and different parts of this great nation on the Earth. We are all destined and will play a significant role to be the breadbasket of the world and overflow in our hampers and baskets of provision; in our oceans of spiritual revelation; and in our lists of victorious testimonies.

Exodus 2:4 His sister stood at a distance, to see what would happen to him.

Wanda Alger (17 Aug 20): Many are yet unaware and unable to comprehend the evil and hellish intent of our Adversary. The exposures that are here and coming are going to startle many who still can’t believe that someone could be that wicked. In His grace and mercy, God knows the only way for some to comprehend the supernatural nature of His Kingdom is to see the realities from the dark side. What will shock and startle us awake will serve to shake off our disbelief and open our eyes to the inexplicable and miraculous power of the Most High God.

Exodus 2:5 The daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river, while her attendants walked beside the river. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her maid to bring it.

Zechariah 5:10 “Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel who was speaking to me.

11 He replied, “To the country of Babylonia to build a house for it. When the house is ready, the basket will be set there in its place.”

Jonathan Ngai (19 Aug 20): On the second day we hosted an 8 hour solemn assembly. In the weeks leading up to it, Sharon kept getting the sense that we needed to invite people from across the nation who were in the fight against sexual immorality to come and pray together. During the afternoon session that focused on this topic, the whole tent erupted into a declaration: “Babylon fall! Babylon fall!” as we faced the Babylonian Gate. We felt it was a moment when the structures of the city, that had been holding sexual harassment, human trafficking, pedophilia, pornography, and the casting couch culture, were shaken.[8]

Vince Amlin (18 Aug 20): It’s also common to hear people (especially people like me) bemoaning “cancel culture.” Denying the allegations against their favorite celebrities. Sticking up for racism in the guise of free speech. Defending their decision to keep listening to the music, watching the show, ordering from the company anyway.

Amanda Grace (14 Aug 20): (Hearing hedging their bet)

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (18 Aug 20): It should be noted that moving the embassy was not initiated by Trump. The Jerusalem Embassy Act was enacted by both the Senate and the House in 1995. The Act recognized Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel and called for Jerusalem to remain an undivided city. It set aside funds for the relocation of the Embassy of the United States in Israel to Jerusalem, by May 31, 1999. Despite passage, the law allowed the President to invoke a six-month waiver of the application of the law, and reissue the waiver every six months on “national security” grounds. The waiver was repeatedly renewed by Presidents ClintonBush, and Obama. President Donald Trump signed a waiver in June 2017. On June 5, 2017, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution commemorating the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem by 90-0. The resolution reaffirmed the Jerusalem Embassy Act and called upon the President and all United States officials to abide by its provisions.

Yehudah Glick (17 Aug 20): Here today preparing the Shofar Journey campaign when we will be blowing the Shofar live surround the walls of Temple-Mount blowing the Shofar at every gate and calling out to The Lord to hear our cries.

Peggy Morris (15 Aug 20): When all our enemies heard the news and all the surrounding nations saw it, our enemies totally lost their nerve. They knew that God was behind this work. (Neh. 6:15-16 MSG)

Amanda Grace (14 Aug 20): Netanyahu shall be wise as a serpent here and harmless as a dove and approaching Rosh Hashanah he shall make an aggressive move as the divide flares up and makes A LOT of noise, it shall TEST the agreement made by the United Arab Emirates, it shall test their instinctual loyalty to side with those of a like mind and belief system

Exodus 2:6 When she opened it, she saw the child. He was crying, and she took pity on him, “This must be one of the Hebrews’ children,” she said.

Hebrews 4:For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz (18 Aug 20): The rabbi emphasized that this fault, lack of pride, affected even the leaders of the Jews.

When Light Came In (17 Aug 20): What are your strengths? What do you naturally do well, without much effort? Are you a listener? An organizer? Do you see things in interesting ways? Can you lead in a group? Are you a learner who gathers and savors knowledge and ideas?

Wanda Alger (17 Aug 20): He is calling us to put off our tendency to fear and fret and GROW UP into a mature faith. The days ahead will continue to cause shockwaves across the earth, but we must see these as the results of a DIVINE DISPLACEMENT that is the answer to our prayers! Do not hold onto how things used to be. Know that the prophetic revelations concerning a future outpouring are now coming to pass. We are about to see a glory that is unimaginable, but tangible. Do not think that your prayers and proclamations have no power. They are reverberating in the heavens and fueling the Mountain of the Lord that is rising up and inaugurating a firm foundation that will never be moved and a Kingdom that can never be shaken.

Yehudah Glick (17 Aug 20): “Blow the Shofar on Zion” calls out prophet Joel whe he describes a situation unprecedented.

Exodus 2:7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get you a nurse from the Hebrew women to nurse the child for you?”

Jackson MacKenzie: “No matter how long it takes, do not worry that you have been permanently injured by their toxicity.  The empathetic spirit never dies.  It is always with you, and it will return with a new and beautiful form when it is ready.  There will be ups and there will be downs, but you are on a path to freedom that will last a lifetime.”

Exodus 2:8 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Yes.” So the girl went and called the child’s mother.

When Light Came In (17 Aug 20): Are you someone people trust, compassionate and empathetic? Do you have an inner drive that makes goals a fun challenge? Are you dedicated, loyal? Are you a thinker? Are you someone who can help others understand complex ideas? Are you a “get it done” girl?

Brat: I keep thinking of Klinger on “M*A*S*H”.  Wasn’t he American-Lebanese?

Adam F. Thompson (13 Aug 20): I see Lebanon in a place of humility. I see such a move of God there, even to the point of many signs and wonders and revival breaking out. I see Lebanese Believers moving in powerful prayer and intercession that will result in incredible transformation. I see a great healing of the land taking place and prosperity returning. I see such a strong community of Christians that it seems the whole nation is believing. [9]

Exodus 2:9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child and nurse it for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed it.

When Light Came In (17 Aug 20): The wounding cannot stamp out our strengths. It can try, it can feel to us like it succeeded in snuffing out what makes us …us. But as long as we’re breathing, that flame has hope.

Christian Harfouche (17 Aug 20): You are not alone, God is with you. You are not by yourself; the angels are on your side. Your prayer is not on tilt, but it is a constant memorial before the throne of God.

Simcha-Shmuel Treister: How much human misery this simple rule would have saved over history if it were the base of other legal systems! In this week’s Zohar translation, Raya Mehemna, the soul of the “Faithful Shepherd”, Moses, explains the implications of this in spiritual terms.

Exodus 2:10 When the child grew up, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and she took him as her son. She named him Moses, “because,” she said, “I drew him out of the water.”

Mark 1:I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

Shofar So Great: Shofar So Great has a vision of A-Tone-Meant, the redemptive sounds for peace and unity in Jerusalem to the ends of the earth![10]
