Matthew 10:24 “A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a slave above the master;

Kris Vallotton (20 June 20): At one time in history, prophets were the cultural catalysts that radically influenced kings and the nations thereof. But where have all the prophets who engage in the world and bring light to the darkest of circumstances gone? Why don’t we see them today?

Helen Calder (18 June 20): In this place of transition—where you cannot see how God will fulfil your dreams from Him for yourself and others—you are in a Divine appointment.[1]

Israel365 (20 June 20): In this weeks Torah Portion, Korach rebels against his cousins Moshe and Aharon, accusing them of taking positions of power for themselves. He declares that the entire Nation of Israel is holy, and therefore questions why Moshe and Aharon have raised themselves above the rest of the congregation. In making this claim, Korach not only implies that Moshe and Aharon inappropriately chose the leadership positions for themselves, thereby denying Hashem’s role in their appointment. …

Matthew 10:25 it is enough for the disciple to be like the teacher, and the slave like the master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household!

Revelation 6:15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

Pete Garza (in “Zeal for Your House” 18 June 20): The church has found itself secluded inside a cave. This cave experience has caused many believers to draw closer to the father and others to pull away. God has allowed us to reflect both in our lives and in our spiritual walks to truly see where our hearts lay. He has exposed our weaknesses and revealed our strengths.

Matthew Laney (21 June 20): This is a story about refugees traumatized by genocide and slavery, and from living in a roving refugee camp for decades. At this point in the narrative, they discover more challenges waiting for them across the border.

Wanda Alger (08 June 20): As believers our unity must be based around the Person of Jesus Christ, not a doctrine, ideology, or ministry agenda.[2]

Brat (in “Train Tracks” to Pete Garza on 16 June 20): For example, my friend Sophia Buller tries bridging the prophetic gap between the Baptists and the Evangelicals and the Vineyard-types.  Some of them believe in the prophetic but don’t teach the whole Word.  They pick and choose scriptures to build their cases.  The end result is that their message ends up sounding like New Agers and “Name-it-and-claim-it” theology.  Others expound on entire chapters of scripture and teach beautiful sermons, but don’t believe in the prophetic, so the Word is not fulfilled, and endurance becomes drudgery to the point of slavery.  Even though Sophia steps into the gap with solid Truth grounded in the Word and prayer, and social media friends and I can see her calling at work, there are no apostles stepping up to acknowledge that she has those gifts of bridge-building and encouragement (tempered with sternness when necessary).  And she’s made connections with an apostle over here in Ventura, California but he’s quiet.

Retired Bishop J Jon Bruno on Facebook (15 June 2020):   Thanks for the tip to circumvent Facebook… Works!! I have a whole new profile. I see posts from people I didn’t see anymore. Facebook’s new algorithm picks the same people – around 25-who will see your posts. Hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ” copy “. Go to your page where it says ” what’s on your mind”. Tap your finger anywhere in the empty field. Click paste. This is going to circumvent the system.

Hello new and old friends!

Drop a single hello, thanks!

Brat (21 June 20): Hello!

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): However, the bottom line of the presence of any gift is that it is recognised and acknowledged by leaders in the church and that it is useful for its purpose—which is to help build up the church and bring people closer to Jesus.

Gypsy Dallas Smith (21 June 20): There is going to be a rise in men coming to the aid of the women in battle, the husbands, fathers, sons and warriors for Jesus. God is raising up men in a new way to contend for the things of God like never before. Many of them carry orphaned spirits as they have not had earthly fathers. But the Lord is going to do a deep, quick work to help these men become the spiritual leaders in their homes and communities that they were created to be. Its no coincidence that God has revealed this to me on Father’s Day!

Matthew Laney (21 June 20): Fleeing or being forced out of one’s country is a harrowing hardship. Beyond that, re-settling in a new country can be extraordinarily stressful and intimidating.

Brat: The Facebook “country” is ‘no country for old men’.  It is the children who understand it.

Kris Vallotton (20 June 20): In the days of the prophet Elijah, there arose a company of men who were called the “sons of the prophets” (Kings 20:35). These men traveled throughout the world ravaging the powers of darkness, wreaking havoc on evil kingdoms. They had no tolerance for the destructive behavior of wicked kings but rather turned many to righteousness.

Helen Calder (18 June 20): Many people do not understand what it is like for discerners, as our senses pick up more of what is going on in the environment, than others do.

Matthew Laney (21 June 20): The spies brought an unfavorable report of the land that they had spied out, saying, “All the people we saw in the land are of great size. There we saw the Nephilim and we seemed like grasshoppers next to them.” – Numbers 13:32-33 (NRSV, adapted)

Nate Johnston (in “Zeal for Your House” 18 June 20): I prophesy that this will not be a week of being BAITED & HIJACKED by the enemy into the DIVERSION he wants you to obsess and lose your peace over. He wants you hearing every bump in the night and putting your fists up for every fight. He wants you so empty that you make messes he will tell you are impossible to clean up then beat you up for it.

Matthew 10:26 “So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.

Helen Calder (18 June 20): You may be perceiving the demonic forces at work, and be alert to the spiritual battle taking place

Wanda Alger (08 June 20): Choose your battles. Don’t get distracted by side issues but keep your focus on becoming a community where God’s tangible peace and presence can dwell.

Brat (21 June 20): Nate said we would not be baited and hijacked into a diversion this week.  I had just prayed in the solitude of my own car yesterday for sanctuary for my prayers, because they were once again baited and hijacked from my very lips.  I need privacy to be real with God.

Kris Vallotton (20 June 20): Where have all the prophets gone?

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): Whenever a gift is used to criticise or tear down a church, person or leader, you know it is being misused, or is simply a person’s hurt, frustration or agenda masquerading as discernment.

Wanda Alger (08 June 20): Honor those in spiritual authority; bless them and pray for them, even those you disagree with (1 Tim 2:2).

Gypsy Dallas Smith (21 June 20): I saw myself standing in a camp, I saw a tall fence with a narrow gate. I saw a man helping a wounded woman coming down a mountain and through the narrow gate into the camp I was standing in. I remember someone asking me, “what are they doing?” I replied, “They are crossing over.”

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): If a prophetic or revelatory message is brought, a discerner can often tell whether it is anointed of the Spirit or from the speaker’s own heart.

Rabbi Shaul Yosef Leiter (in “Zeal for Your House” 18 June 20): Everyone agrees that Korach had great talents. Nevertheless, leadership is determined by Heaven. Rebbe Bunim of Peshischa writes that Korach’s terrible mistake was in trying to forcefully seize the leadership and its glory, which only led to his downfall.[3]

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): This is not always the case, and as with other revelatory gifts such as prophecy, you will sometimes get it wrong or have incomplete discernment (1 Thess 5:19-21, 1 Cor 13:9-10)

Israel365 (20 June 20): …He also makes the erroneous claim that every individual in the nation is on the same level of holiness. While it is true that everyone is endowed with an element of Godliness, it is up to each person to elevate himself or herself to even greater levels of holiness. The exact degree of a person’s holiness, therefore, depends on their individual achievements.

Gypsy Dallas Smith (21 June 20): The men are being raised up to help us cross over and its being birthed in prayer!  I am amazed, as I realize why I wasn’t supposed to release it until today. It is in honor of Father’s Day and the men taking their rightful place as the spiritual leaders of the home!

Wanda Alger (08 June 20): To be a true “community” prayer group with corporate authority in prayer, seek participation with believers from across the city and not just one fellowship.

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): When you submit what you are seeing or sensing, your leaders confirm your accuracy and your gift begins to be recognised for its effectiveness.

Anne Ballard (21 June 20): In choosing to admit our need and submit it before God, He has room and permission to step in and lend us His strength. You may already know your weakness, or you may not be able to discern what you need from Him yet. Take some time this season to lean into His strength; to rest in His protection and ability when yours doesn’t quite measure up. When you are weak, He is strong.[4]

Gypsy Dallas Smith (21 June 20): So ladies, rejoice as your hearts cry for your husbands and sons is coming to fruition. There is a new generation of men being raised up with humility and submissiveness to the Father, that they will not try and control the women in their lives, but rather be their “Battle Buddy.” They will help carry the weight, that so many of us have had to carry for so long, alone!

Lance Wallnau (20 June 20): “God doesn’t give you a desire without giving you the equipment to fulfill it.”

Wanda Alger (08 June 20): Does the Church of your city have a unified voice that stands for Kingdom values in the public square? Is your congregation or community ready to not only take a stand against the rising rebellion and lawlessness in our city streets, but take the lead in establishing something better? If the Church is supposed to be the Spirit-filled life-giving force that brings purpose and order into our chaotic world, how are we doing?

Israel365 (20 June 20): …Today, we are seeing a very similar social unrest. It is important to remember that everyone is holy and created in the image of God, and we must all strive to be leaders like Moshe and Aharon who sought only peace as opposed to Korach, who was driven by his desire for honor.

Brat (in “Train Tracks” to Pete Garza on 16 June 20): “A picture comes to mind of connecting two lines of railroads.  The apostolic covering over the cave dweller says to the individual that their gift is necessary on the rail tracks and applied in a specific place and time, just as two disparate rail lines are connected to make one (like “the Golden Spike” in California).  That acknowledgment is what Jezebel stole.  If we just go back by the same way we came without acknowledging the individual gift to benefit the greater whole, then we just repeat the cycle and there is no honor.

Helen Calder (18 June 20): You realize that God is at work behind the scenes, orchestrating His purpose.  And this transforms your discernment.

Kris Vallotton (20 June 20): Have you ever heard of the “sons of prophets?”

Matthew 10:27 What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered, proclaim from the housetops.

Matthew Laney (21 June 20): Then spies scope out the new country. To their dismay, the spies discover gigantic, intimidating people living there. No longer hopeful, the Israelites feel overwhelmed, outmatched, and demoralized, like bugs underfoot.

Kris Vallotton (20 June 20): I propose that many have forgotten their mandate, abandoned their mission, and/or allowed satan to intimidate them into silence all while the very culture we’ve been called to impact is in a state of moral decay.

Brat: I shared and received SILENCE from you, too.

Matthew 10:28 Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Wanda Alger (08 June 20): Unresolved sin issues become open doors for the enemy. As the Holy Spirit reveals root issues on the land, ask the Lord for wisdom and take steps to clear the land of any sin, immorality, bloodshed, broken covenants, or idolatry through prayers of repentance, both personally and corporately.

Helen Calder (18 June 20): When we have been in touch with the Holy Spirit, the fruit of our discernment will reflect Him

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.

Dr. Stephen Gundry: Power Blues: LOW STOCK ALERT

Matthew 10:30 And even the hairs of your head are all counted.

Helen Calder (18 June 20): If the result of our discernment is anxiety, oppression, negativity or suspicion, that is not the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Brat (in “Train Tracks” to Pete Garza on 16 June 20): I’ve exposed what I could in my blog [https://truthinus.wordpress.com/] but the Churches are experts in suppressing it, stonewalling it, or gaslighting it (all of Jezebel’s tactics, and all done in the name of “divine exploits”).  However, that only proves to me that what I’m saying must be working in Spirit and in Truth somehow, but there is never any closure.  It’s all a chess game to the Great They.  I need a Giant killer positioned beside me and my friends.

Matthew 10:31 So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): This ability can result in us feeling different, lonely or misunderstood at times, especially when starting out. It is vital that someone with a developing gift of discernment finds a safe place to journey with others who are similarly gifted and accountable in the life of their church.

Kris Vallotton (19 June 20): As someone who has been prophetically equipping believers for over 25 years, I’ve also been actively engaged in my city, my nation, and stepped into challenging God-ordained moments with leaders of tremendous power. So, consider the weight of my words when I say, the moral decay that we see in society is happening on our watch! It’s time for God’s prophets to awaken the Church to her glorious call and provoke the people of God to action.[5]

Brat: So please do it!  I hear your words but don’t see your actions.  It doesn’t reach me.  But I bless you in the Name of Jesus, to go forth and conquer, to go where you may not have gone before.

Matthew 10:32 “Everyone therefore who acknowledges Me before others, I also will acknowledge before My Father in heaven;

Wanda Alger (08 June 20): Determine to walk “offense-free” and practice forgiveness and forbearance towards others.

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): This is because—and I will continually reiterate this—the highest use of the gift of discernment is not to see what the enemy is doing, but to discern what the Spirit of God is doing.

Revelation 3:5 The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.

Matthew 10:33 but whoever denies Me before others, I also will deny before My Father in heaven.

Helen Calder (8 August 2010): One of the benefits and signs of having a gift of discernment of spirits is a heightened awareness of God’s Presence and anointing. A true discerner will have a passion for the un-grieved Presence of the Holy Spirit.
