Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): Trial and Error
1 Corinthians 2:1 When I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come proclaiming the mystery of God to you in lofty words or wisdom.
Larry Sparks (06 Feb 20): I do believe there is prophetic validity to the evaluation that 5780 is the “Decade of Decree.” I resonate with that descriptive, but I sense a weightier vision of what it means to “decree.” Our decrees must be coupled with bold decisions to act. Was slavery abolished because someone declared and decreed? Did wars cease, movements start, and tyrannical regimes end because someone makes a spiritual proclamation?
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Four factions developed in front of the Sea of Reeds, each with another plan of action, all erroneous. The common denominator of them all was that their plan of action originated in their own human psyche.
Brat (in “Frogs to Balaam” 01 Feb 20): So, just to be clear, you can have sanctuary while you wrestle with your psyche and soul and I can’t, even though Jesus promised His bride that His Father’s house has many mansions, so I would have a place to work in peace and quiet in an anchorhold with a tribe that loves me for who I am, while I steward the story for the greater whole? And this Pharaoh spirit is to help the cause of redemption? Just clarifying…
Larry Sparks (06 Feb 20): History is made by those who marry prophetic decrees with courageous action. They speak up, yes, but they also show up to the front lines. Remember, Elijah spoke up because he showed up.
Adam Milstein (07 Feb 20): The groups within the boots-on-the-ground network are on the frontlines; they put the unique information and the strategies developed by researchers into action. The network includes a diverse group of organizations from campus to Capitol Hill, including legal groups and advocacy organizations. They are supported by the resources of the philanthropic network, the data of research organizations, and the awareness generated by the media network, which allows them to focus on maximizing the impact of their unique capabilities.
Rev. Kirk Alan Kubicek: We seek to know the essence of our Being – what it means to be truly human. Jesus offers what we mistakenly believe to be metaphors: we are salt and light – and as such, we are capable of fulfilling all that God requires of us as laid out in commandments and reminders from prophets. Prophets, who were and are poets.
1 Corinthians 2:2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Larry Sparks (06 Feb 20): There is a conversation happening on the center stage of real life culture that demands prophetic engagement. There are major issues at stake and hanging in the balance, and we are not even involved in that conversation, but rather having conversations about that conversation in safe places. Bottom line: we are often comfortable maintaining success in a subculture while God is calling an Elijah company to the center stage of cultural conversation.
Brat: This blog that God has me write is my attempt at bringing the spiritual, cultural, and prophetic conversation to center stage. I share it regularly and get no response.
Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): How has God’s love wearied us, that we neglect mercy?
Rev. Kirk Alan Kubicek: Where are we? Who are we? Why are we here? What are we meant to be doing? How are we to go about this thing we call life? These are the elemental questions that humans have been pondering for thousands of years. These, says Huston Smith in his classic book, The World’s Religions, are the basic questions that form the basis of all human religious yearnings.
Adam Milstein (07 Feb 20): The philanthropists who take part in the new multi-network model do more than just throw money at problems – they lead the efforts, spend time on brainstorming, encourage collaboration, and actively push for change. They utilize their financial resources to support the unique goals they share with the nonprofits they support and spread awareness about their important work through media and social networks.
1 Corinthians 2:3 And I came to you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.
Church of England (07 Feb 20): New Church of England guidance will ‘ask great questions’ of education leaders
American Friends of Magen David Adom (07 Feb 20): Calling All Pastors
Larry Sparks (06 Feb 20): Those meant to be on the front lines of the cultural conversation in education, government, politics, technology, entertainment and so on have allowed themselves to be pushed into a cave by the evil one. I say, “No more!” Make no mistake. The devil, though defeated, is still that age-old cunning and crafty serpent. He’s decorated the cave to be very appealing to Christians, especially those operating in the prophetic.
Lana Vawser (06 Feb 20): Those words shook me deeply. The commissioning of the eagles will take place from the upper room. He will send out the eagles from the upper room filled with fire, marked by the revelation of Jesus, eyes that see with prophetic vision and clarity for this new apostolic era.
Kris Vallotton (07 Feb 20): True spiritual authority happens when you have come into submission, and therefore you’ve been commissioned to have angelic help. It’s not gift-based authority, it’s determined by who you are in submission to. What I’m getting at is, whether God’s commissioned you to be responsible for a multi-billion dollar business or empowered you to mother the next generation in your home, once you take ownership of that assignment on your life (submission to God’s mission), you will step into true spiritual authority which releases the supernatural aid and resources God has placed on that assignment for your success.
Psalm 35: 1 Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
Lana Vawser: The sense surrounded me that many of the daughters of God were being hit so hard in every direction that they were in the battle to “see” what was taking place right now, but constantly fighting for the day to day and not being able to move to the place of being “one step ahead” of the enemy and moving with the Holy Spirit to shut down the plans and attacks of the enemy before they were put into action.
1 Corinthians 2:4 My speech and my proclamation were not with plausible words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): What has God’s faithfulness done to us, that we reject humility?
Psalm 35: 28 My tongue will proclaim your righteousness,
your praises all day long.
Lana Vawser (06 Feb 20): These eagles were being sent forth with eyes of DANIEL 2:22
“He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.” (ESV)
Psalm 35: 5 May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
Amanda Grace (5 Feb 20): These Cherubim had a flaming sword as mentioned in the King James which turns in every direction to protect and guard the way to the tree of life in order to prevent man from solidifying their separation from God for All Eternity. For even though the Lord was incredibly grieved at what had taken place, he could not bare separation from man for all eternity and immediately created a plan to redeem man and reconcile them back to Him through raising up the Messiah through the righteous line of Abel and Seth in genesis Chapter 4.
Kris Vallotton (07 Feb 20): Where have all the angels gone in the twenty-first-century Church? The challenge is that globally the church can be like a rebel without a cause. I often see people do what they want to do, where they want to do it. Too often, they plant churches, yet no one sent them. Sadly, they aren’t connected to anyone. The consequence? They compete with the guy across the street who did the same thing…yet, it’s a kingdom divided, and they wonder why they aren’t seeing angelic intervention, miracles in their ministry, or supernatural breakthrough in the lives of those they lead. So the question isn’t where have all the angels gone, rather my question for the rogue roamers out there is: did you just go, or were you actually sent? And, do the angels recognize your authority? When we are under God’s authority, which includes being under His appointed leaders, the angelic hosts that are assigned to that mission of God accompany us on our journey.
Psalm 35: 7 Since they hid their net for me without cause
and without cause dug a pit for me,
Lana Vawser: The story of Elisha flashed before my eyes in the Spirit in 2 Kings 6:12 where Elisha heard the plans of the King of Aram in his bedroom and told the King of Israel.
“One of his servants said, “No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”
Psalm 35: 26 May all who gloat over my distress
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who exalt themselves over me
be clothed with shame and disgrace.
Brat to Jo (8 Feb 20 at 7:16 am): I realized that I have that same shame in this dysfunctional Silence with the Funny Bunnies. I haven’t been able to describe to you or anybody (or even myself) the depths of pain this dysfunctional Silence causes. I was journaling about that on Thursday. Normally one would have a priest to share one’s soul pain with. Because there is no safe harbor in this journey, where even my very prayers are hijacked and used against me, the pain has created its own shame. It is not even projected by someone else at this point.
Kris Vallotton (08 Feb 20 at 4:30 pm): MY PRAYER FOR YOU
I’m sure you know what it feels like to know deep down that you are called to something great, but the pain can be crippling when you feel alone, without a tribe to support and send you out! Perhaps you’re stalled out by doubt and feel your destiny has been put on hold. Regardless of how you may be feeling, God has assigned angelic help to inject your heart with radical hope, bold faith, and unyielding determination!
Brat: Dear Reader, did you catch the timing and exposé on that development?
Psalm 35: 4 May those who seek my life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot my ruin
be turned back in dismay.
Lana Vawser: “Many of My daughters have been living under apology. You have been apologising for your gifting. You have been apologising for the favour I have given you. You have been apologising for the vision, direction and revelation I have given you. You have been apologising for the expression of My heart through you. I am removing the layers of the shame from your heart and life deeper than ever before. I am releasing the awakening of your identity and CLARITY of your anointing, your gifting and your calling in these days. I am moving you from the place of living under APOLOGY to the place of living under ACCELERATION in unprecedented ways.”
Anna Blake (31 Jan 19): (His primary calming signals are a frantic wag that uses his whole body. Wrinkling his nose, sometimes one side in a kind of sneer, other times he pulls his lips up above his teeth; that thing we call a dog smiling when it is anything but.)
Lana Vawser: The enemy has worked overtime to cage the daughters of God but this is the era where God is mantling them and releasing them into the earth to set the captives free, to break open cages the enemy has placed places and people in. A mighty wave of deliverance is going to crash in with greater force and acceleration in the body of Christ in this new era that will see men and women operate together in greater ways to see the deliverance of God manifest and some of the specific revelation the Lord unveils to the daughters of God will bring forth significant unlocking of the places the enemy has locked down.
Psalm 35: 16 Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked;
they gnashed their teeth at me.
Prince: “When Doves Cry” []
How can you just leave me standing?
Alone in a world so cold? (World so cold)
Maybe I’m just too demanding
Maybe I’m just like my father, too bold
Maybe I’m just like my mother
She’s never satisfied (She’s never satisfied)
Why do we scream at each other
This is what it sounds like
When doves cry
Delia Owens: Just like their whiskey, the marsh dwellers bootlegged their own laws – not like those burned into stone tablets or inscribed on documents, but deeper ones, stamped in their genes. Ancient and natural, like those hatched from hawks and doves. When cornered, desperate, or isolated, man reverts to those instincts that aim straight at survival. Quick and just. They will always be the trump cards because they are passed on more frequently from one generation to the next than the gentler genes. It is not a morality, but simple math. Among themselves, doves fight as often as hawks.
Psalm 35: 15 But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee;
assailants gathered against me without my knowledge.
They slandered me without ceasing.
Kris Vallotton (08 Feb 20 at 4:30 pm): To the moms who are shuffling schedules and meeting the demands of a growing family; to the young ones who may feel lost navigating life; to any and all who don’t feel they’ve been commissioned by God, I release a co-mission over you. That you would be in submission to God’s mission, and you would be commissioned; that you would recognize the influence God’s given you and move forward in destiny, in purpose and prosperity, and in true spiritual authority, in Jesus’ name!
Tony Robinson (07 Feb 20): Prayer
Dear Bright Morning Star Jesus, praise be to you for rising in every darkness and for all who by doing the same, follow you. Amen.
Psalm 35: 17 How long, Lord, will you look on?
Rescue me from their ravages,
my precious life from these lions.
1 Corinthians 2:5 so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.
Lana Vawser: The Lord showed me with the revelation He will release to uncover lies of the enemy and strategies of the enemy in many ways even before they are implemented, we will see in this new era, the daughters of God rising up in their decree, intercession and obedience to the strategy of God that will see the Holy Spirit release a MIGHTY move of DELIVERANCE through them in their spheres of influence and cities and nations.
1 Corinthians 2:6 Yet among the mature we do speak wisdom, though it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to perish.
Psalm 35: 19 Do not let those gloat over me
who are my enemies without cause;
do not let those who hate me without reason
maliciously wink the eye.
Larry Sparks (06 Feb 20): I believe the Lord gave me this language: “The center stage of cultural conversation.” This is the place where the innovators, artists, entrepreneurs, moguls, kings and rulers of this day gather to communicate. While they are exchanging “inspired ideas” that are directly discipling nations, most Christians are content in a “side-room” somewhere, having conversations with other Christians. You don’t belong in a side-room; your access to Heaven and prophetic voice are meant for the “board room!”
Kris Vallotton (07 Feb 20): To be commissioned means that you come into submission to the Father’s mission; co-mission: a mission together with God.
Nate Johnston: “You are leaving your war room, your weeping room, and your crushing room for a new place I am calling you to where you won’t have to continually fight and battle for bare minimum. The war room season of fighting for survival is coming to end and you are coming into your establishing season where you will see just what your worship and surrender accomplished. You are going to be amazed at what your dark nights produced – a greater authority, an increased anointing, and the keys to unlock doors for those stuck like you were.”
1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak God’s wisdom, secret and hidden, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
Lana Vawser (06 Feb 20): As I looked closer in His eyes I could see flames of fire and I could see pathways and blueprint strategies. In His eyes I could see wisdom. In His eyes I could see His ways. In His eyes I could see glimpses of what was to come in this Kingdom age.
Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): A trial is underway. God is both plaintiff and judge. The people together are the defendant. And all creation – from the highest mountains to earth’s deepest foundations – is the jury.
Rev. Kirk Alan Kubicek: Like Isaiah, who helps us to imagine what it really means to observe a fast: “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover them, and not to hide yourself from your own kin? Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly… Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry for help, and he will say, Here I am.”
Psalm 35: 10 My whole being will exclaim,
“Who is like you, LORD?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
the poor and needy from those who rob them.”
Pastor Steve Dittmar (4 Feb 20): Imagine what will happen when we love, forgive and only bless one another.
Brat: And isn’t that what Balaam did? (Rev 2:14)
Psalm 35: 6 may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
Adam Milstein (07 Feb 20): In addition to investing money, these philanthropists invest their time, energy and social capital to help achieve shared goals. They support dozens of organizations, whether researchers and analysts, boots on the ground, or media outlets, and help them build synergies and force-multiplication. The philanthropic network and nonprofit groups must work closely together to achieve quality outcomes.
Psalm 35: 11 Ruthless witnesses come forward;
they question me on things I know nothing about.
Larry Sparks (06 Feb 20): Who (or what) are the “Ahabs” facing us today? There are many people operating in governance (not just in the natural government, but those who are occupying the high places of society where culture is determined) who are empowered by demonic forces. They want to change the landscape of nations by influencing citizens through the media airways, academia, the arts, policy and law, and every other institution that is shaping modern culture.
Breaking Israel News (7 Feb 20): [Watch] Miracle at Temple Mount: Israeli Policeman Grazed by Bullet Inches From Heart
Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): How do we defend our case to the jury of mountains?
Adam Milstein (07 Feb 20): There is no silver bullet to fight and defeat antisemitism. Hundreds of millions, maybe billions of dollars and hundreds of organizations are devoted to this issue, but the age-old hatred is rising faster than ever in America.
Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): It strikes me as appropriate that creation should assess humanity’s culpability for injustice and injury. When we judge one another, our own sinfulness distorts our assessment of others’ sins. In another’s abuses, we notice our own greeds or traumas. In another’s errors, we find reflections of our own fears or schemes. We assess too harshly or too leniently. We acquit our own guilt. We obstruct one another’s well-being.
Psalm 35: 12 They repay me evil for good
and leave me like one bereaved.
Adam Milstein (07 Feb 20): Too many of these responses to Jew-hatred are reactionary and risk-averse. Organizations that aim to fight antisemitism frequently address general trends or individual instances of hate when such instances occur, rather than develop a broad, coordinated strategy to combat the groups that promotes hatred and violence toward Jews.
Psalm 35: 13 Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth
and humbled myself with fasting.
When my prayers returned to me unanswered,
Larry Sparks (06 Feb 20): The Lord showed me the following picture/vision which I believe applies to this prophetic word. There was a business board room where a bunch of people were gathered around a table. I felt like it was a humorously exaggerated atmosphere. Papers were flying all over the place as people were frantically scratching their heads, seeking a solution to some crisis. I knew the people seated in this board room were highly qualified. They had letters after their names, titles, and all manner of academic pedigree. Yet, they still struggled to find a solution.
1 Corinthians 2:8 None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Pastor Steve Dittmar (4 Feb 20): The prayer formed into repentance (I had not gotten up to do this), as we took responsibility for speaking evil of dignitaries (2 Peter 2:10). This was not a prayer focused for or against any one side, nor was it persuasion; rather we began to repent for the uncovering of nakedness, speaking evil, reviling, and for the hostility of our words and thoughts against one another. This was our sin, not Washington DC’s, for Jesus Christ became a curse for all men, and when we curse any man, we despise the cross and the work Jesus completed. How can we curse man when He has become a curse for all men in order that the blessing of Abraham might come upon all men in Christ? (Galatians 3:13, 14).
Psalm 35: 22 LORD, you have seen this; do not be silent.
Do not be far from me, Lord.
Rev. Kirk Alan Kubicek: Yet, the “rulers of this age” continue to keep us busy Wanting, Having, and Doing; craving, clutching and fussing “on the material, political, social, emotional, intellectual – even on the religious – plane,” kept in perpetual unrest. The secret and hidden wisdom of God calls us to recall the essence of life, the essence of our being made of salt and stardust, is to remind us where we come from, where we are going, and what we are meant to be doing – if anything at all – which all revolve around Love – restoring justice, peace and dignity for all people in a world that too often wants us to believe it is every man, woman, and child for themselves. This is why Underhill calls us to stop all else and take time to simply Be – for it is in taking time to recollect the essence of being truly human that we are set free to be who we are meant to be and remember what we are meant to be doing.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him”
Pastor Steve Dittmar (4 Feb 20): Rather than sharing the message I had prepared, we opened to 2 Samuel 21. Israel was in a three year drought when David inquired of the Lord, “And the Lord answered, ‘It is because of Saul and his bloodthirsty house, because he killed the Gibeonites.’” (2 Samuel 21:1, NKJV). This is a fascinating story, and one that should be read remembering that Christ is the atonement for all broken relationships, sins against humanity, past reproaches, dishonor, and forgotten leaders.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (06 Feb 20): Moses created a generation of pupils and students who listened to his song, and then integrated it into their own lives. His vision became theirs. They did not submit their selves to Moses; they made his vision theirs. For Reb Eliezer, Moses is more like the conductor of a symphony, inspiring each musician to use his or her own instrument to produce the music.
1 Corinthians 2:10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): The jury of creation is much more impartial, having known the faithfulness of God across decades and centuries, having experienced the upheaval and patience of change across millennia. By comparison, humans are fickle and impulsive, reckless and weak.
Adam Milstein (07 Feb 20): The participation of researchers and analysts is key to this model. Leveraging their data and expertise, they provide philanthropists and boots-on-the-ground organizations with unique insight and advise on the optimal and most strategic action to take.
Rachel Hackenberg (06 Feb 20): Hear, you mountains, the controversy of the LORD, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the LORD has a controversy with the people, and God will contend with Israel. “O my people, what have I done to you? In what have I wearied you? Answer me!” – Micah 6:2-3 (NRSV)
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (06 Feb 20): There is a program in the NY State Penal System, that a prisoner who has a record of good behavior and no history of violence can be given a supervised overnight furlough. Once, in the 70s, a prison Rabbi brought a group of these prisoners to Crown Heights for a Shabbaton and one of the speakers was the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The Rebbe asked them, “How did you end up in prison?” There was silence. No one was quite sure what the Rebbe wanted from him. Then one answered, “I stole.” So the Rebbe asked, “You are the only one who stole?” They looked at each other and then one said, “We were caught.” And then the Rebbe asked, “Why were you caught?” One of the prisoners answered, “Because the others were smarter!” So the Rebbe asked them, “Are you saying you are stupid?” No one answered. So the Rebbe answered for them. “Not only are you all not stupid, you are all very smart. Let me explain. G-d created this world because He wanted to make for Himself a dwelling place in the lowest plane. And where you are is the lowest of the lowest. G-d chose you, because more than anyone else, you are clever and smart enough to transform even the darkest, lowest place into a place where G-d can dwell. He chose you above all the others, because they did not have this special ability. This is the ability that you have.”
Nate Johnston (03 Feb 20): “Out of you is going to ERUPT such a song of breakthrough that will be such a weapon for you and others because it was forged in the dark when you had to worship your way out. It’s more potent than you know and know I am commissioning you to wield it. This is where you move from warring to conquest, from battling to breaking down enemy lines for the kingdom. This is where your new story begins and you start writing history for me through YOUR story!”
Lana Vawser (06 Feb 20): These eagles were going forth with such wisdom, discernment and divine insight and hindsight they were going forth to uncover that which is darkness and to reveal truth, His truth. To bring forth the establishment of truth, heavenly truth in this new era.
Rabbi YY Jacobson (06 Feb 20): Rabbi Nechemiah, however, felt that this vision of leadership was still lacking. This type of leadership is meaningful as long as the teacher is there to teach and to inspire his or her disciples. When the leader is communicating his passion and song, his students can “repeat it,” absorb it and follow it. But what occurs when the captain disappears, when the teacher is silenced, when the conductor is no longer directing the symphony? Now that there is nothing to repeat, and nobody to direct, does the symphony die?
Lana Vawser (06 Feb 20): They were going forth with prophetic insight and hindsight to bring alignment, and to herald the truth of God’s Word.
Rabbi Shaul Leiter (06 Feb 20): In one minute, the Rebbe transformed a group of criminals into his personal emissaries. Each of us in turn can, like Shabbat and like the manna, wherever we find ourselves, transform our environment into a dwelling place for G-d.
Andrew Towe: This was the perfect example of God’s boomerang! The enemy meant to destroy the Jewish people, but God caused it to boomerang back to the originator. It caused promotion for Mordecai and the Jewish people. This is what He is doing for you. The enemy is going to wish he would have never sent the waves of opposition against you. Because now God’s boomerang has turned the tide back to him. I hear the Lord say, “My boomerang will cause your Haman to be hung on his own gallows. The supernatural turnaround is already in motion and you will see it swiftly.”
1 Corinthians 2:11 For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God’s except the Spirit of God.
