Rosally Saltsman: 8 Ways to Stop Yelling (and Be Heard)
Hanna Perlberger: How to Take a Break to Prevent a Breakup
Susanna Kearsley: “… I nodded. “I see.” And I did see. The girl in that shadow court had her own shape, now. Her own voice, which I could restore to her.” (A Desperate Fortune (2015), p 24)
Rosally Saltsman: Yelling causes damage, irreparable damage, to the environment, to our relationships, to our psyches and nervous systems, and to our mental and physical health.
Matthew Laney: Thankfully Holding Your Tongue
Brat (ref in log to “Currency of Repentance” 20 Nov 18): What is your goal? What Christians talk about and what the Jews practice seem worlds apart.
Rick Joyner: How could this be? Many believe this to be the most important sign of the end of the age. However, this not being mentioned in Revelation does not belittle its importance. A major fallacy about Revelation is that it is a revelation of the end of the age—it is a “revelation of Jesus Christ.” Just as John wrote in the beginning of it, these things would “shortly come to pass.” They began to come to pass almost immediately after he had the vision. It is an unfolding of history written in advance from the time that John received it, not just about the end times.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Chesed is associated with the right hand, as we know. As mentioned previously, “land” (in Hebrew, “eretz”) is an appelate for malchut, the feminine. The fact that Chusham’s goal is to divert the divine flow away from malchut is why the word “land” is mentioned only in his regard.
Matthew Laney: By practicing verbal restraint with minor injustices, you might have more energy for calling out bigger ones. And more energy for blessing. Because today is for thanksgiving. You can set the woes of the world ablaze with holy fire tomorrow.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: “Bela” literally means “swallowing”.
It is further called “ben [the son of] Be’or” [since “Be’or” means “burning”,] because the arousal of G d’s strict judgment is likened to a great inferno, as in the verse, “For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven….” (Malachi 3:19)
Matthew Laney: Prayer
God, just for today, let me use my tongue for savoring instead of scorching, for restraint instead of resistance, for blessing instead of lambasting.
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): It is so not like me to send “cookie batter” in the mail, the whole glob, without “baking” it first.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: King Bela was somewhat rectified, and thus made into [the seventh king,] Baal Chanan. He thus was pardoned, this being the significance of [the second word in his name,] “Chanan”.
Monk: Is that similar to the land of Cana, where Jesus’ miracle at the wedding took place? (John 2)
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): …In that passage she also talks about how Mary starts her diary in plain writing, not in cipher –
I couldn’t help but stop and reflect on the life of my own journals. I didn’t create some cipher, or code, or writing backwards with the help of a mirror. I’m not smart enough for that ‘invention of wings’ (to borrow a book title by Sue Monk Kidd), but for several years I’ve had to often keep my private journals separate from the ones I’ve typed up, although it is still my prayer that those handwritten journals will one day be safe to include in the whole story. I don’t live in 1747 during the Jacobite Rebellion, but the danger is still nonetheless real.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The “mouth of Imma” is the point at which the intellect, Imma, begins to express itself. Inasmuch as chesed is the first and driving force of all the emotions, the supernal chesed – the abstract chesed of the intellect – is the potential within the intellect to evoke an emotional response. It is made relevant by daat, which then passes this relevance and motivation to Nukva, providing it with the drive to actualize the inspiration produced in the intellect.
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): The corporate collective conversation in this vortex just keeps spinning further and further out of control. Could they hear that my blessings were sincere and heart-felt? Could they hear my love conveyed through words? Or were my words interpreted as shallow ploys of token obedience, like Balaam who was only able to bless the Israelites but got fat off the king’s barbeques?
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The same is true of this [evil] daat of judgment. [The evil Nukva] requests G d’s judgment from it, as is stated in the Zohar, saying “give judgment” [in Aramaic, “din-havah”]. [Thus, we are told the name of] his city, just as we say that the “city of David’s Zion,” (Kings I 8:1) for “G d created the one opposite the other”. (Ecclesiastes 7:14)
Pastor John Tolle (18 Nov 18): My desire is to use this story [from 2 Chronicles 20] to superimpose it upon us. We brag that we are the safest city. We have better community make-up. But the human heart is corrupt.
Numbers 24: 15 Then he spoke his message:
“The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor,
the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,
Pastor John Tolle: Evil happens when good men do nothing.
Rick Joyner: It would be difficult to impossible to understand some of the major purposes of God in this age without understanding Israel’s place in them because The Bible is full of prophecies about it. It all has to do with God’s heart for restoration, which He links repeatedly to His faithfulness to His promise of restoring Israel to their land. This is one reason why “replacement theology” is considered so harmful. Replacement theology basically applies all of the promises made to Israel to the church, thereby distracting from the basic message that Israel is in relation to the purposes of God.
Brat: Since the City of David’s Zion is the city of Light, and Balaam boasted that he knows, then God has fulfilled His word in the opposite city from Jerusalem in Southern California, in the city of Thousand Oaks.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Here, the evil Nukva requests the insight of how the world is imperfect and needs to be judged. The word “Dinhavah” is seen as the combination of the two words “din” and “havah”, together meaning “give judgment”.
Che Ahn: “The Family That Plays Together”
John-Paul and Annie Deddens: As we think of what we are thankful for, you come to mind. So, we just wanted to tell you that we’re thankful for you! Thank you for praying with us.
Rick Joyner: The New Covenant does not negate any of His former promises to Israel or the Jews according to the flesh, but it does expand some of them to those who are “Jews according to the Spirit.” There are some that are unique to each seed, the natural and the spiritual. Understanding the right distinctions can help us avoid many of the errors that only cloud our understanding of the times. This has caused some to be arrogant toward those who are also the seed of Abraham, which is warned about very seriously in the Bible. For this reason, we will dig deeper into this in the remaining weeks before the end of this year.
Numbers 24: 16 the prophecy of one who hears the words of God,
who has knowledge from the Most High,
who sees a vision from the Almighty,
who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened:
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): As I lay face-down with my nose buried between two pillows, I saw Jesus standing at a distance. My spiritual eyes narrowed to focus, like through a tunnel. He was glowing in holy white light. His pierced hands were relaxed and slightly down in front of Him in a gesture of invitation. The area around His heart glowed yellow starbursts pulsating like from the sun. At first I thought my mind was just superimposing a statue of the Immaculate Heart of Jesus into my consciousness, but Jesus said, “No.” I was not seeing a dead statue, but His living Self.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: And since this king personifies daat, as we said, and [therefore] comprises all the others, it is stated in the account of his rule that “the name of his city was Dinhavah”. Holy daat draws [the consciousness of] the supernal chesed – which is revealed in the mouth of Imma (Zohar II:123a) – from the supernal mind [i.e. Imma, and transmits it] to the bride [i.e. Nukva]. [Nukva] continuously requests this chesed from it [i.e. from daat].
Revelation 2:12 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:
These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.
Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 8:48 am Journal: Parked at Pleasant Valley Park. Yesterday I posted so many things to various conversations to the collective conversation! The Holy Spirit was active, sharp, and concise within me. By God’s mercy, Julie Steinhauer responded with a word of gentle encouragement for me to keep doing God’s work. This was in response to “Labels.” I was soooo very grateful to hear something real from someone real! I choked back tears in my throat.
Moshe Miller: Surviving the Grand Sorcerer
Revelation 2:13 I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.
Moshe Miller: He instructed them to deliver the following message…: I have been staying with Laban, and have delayed my return until now. Rabbi Yehudah asked: What was Jacob’s intention in sending messengers to inform Esau that he had been living with Laban? What did he achieve by telling him this? However, Laban’s [infamous] reputation had spread far and wide. [It was known] that not one person [against whom he had a vendetta] had escaped him, for Laban was a powerful sorcerer. He was the father of Be’or (see Sanhedrin 105a; Bamidbar Rabba, Balak), who was the father of Balaam, about whom it is written, “Balaam the son of Be’or, the sorcerer” (Joshua 13:22), but he outstripped them all in his knowledge of sorcery and black magic. And yet he was not able to destroy Jacob, although he tried to do so in many different ways, as the verse states, “[Laban] the Aramean [tried] to destroy Jacob” (Deut. 26:5). [Accordingly, Jacob sent messengers to inform Esau that if Laban could not overpower him, Esau would surely fail to do so].
Doug Addison (19 Nov 18): I had a powerful encounter with the Lord last month in which He spoke to me a simple message from Revelation 10:6: “… There will be no more delay!” (NIV). This actually happened five times throughout the day; my Bible opened to this same page over and over. I can still hear His voice speaking these words: “There will be no more delay!”
Moshe Miller: Rabbi Aba [expanding on the above] said: The entire world knew that Laban was the Grand Sorcerer, and whomever he wished to destroy could not escape. Everything that Balaam knew he learned from Laban, and about Balaam it states, “Whomever you bless will be blessed, and whomever you curse will be cursed” (Num. 22:6). [Therefore the same powers are attributed to Laban,] so that everyone was afraid of Laban and his sorcery.
Doug Addison (19 Nov 18): Understanding God’s timing is not always easy. There are times when God speaks, and things happen and are crystal clear. Other seasons of life can seem to drag on and on. I want to encourage you to hold on, as things are already starting to shift and change.
Moshe Miller: Accordingly, the first thing that Jacob reported to Esau was that he had lived with Laban. And in case Esau would think that this was only for a short while, a month or a year, [he pointed out that] this was not so, for “I have delayed my return until now”, for twenty years.
Rick Joyner: What is considered the biggest omission?
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Since coupling [between Zeir Anpin and Nukva] is dependent on the [issuance] of holy chesed – as it is written, “it is chesed,” (Lev. 20:17) and “the throne is established through chesed” (Isaiah 16:5) – and coupling occurs in secret, this king is called “Chusham”, from the word for “secret” [in Hebrew, “chashai”].
Revelation 2:24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you,
Rick Joyner: There is no mention of the restoration of Israel in this prophecy.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The word “chesed” in the first verse refers to sexual relations. In the second verse, the “throne” is the symbol of kingship and therefore of malchut.
Revelation 2:14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality.
Matthew Laney: If it can’t be tamed completely, the tongue can be muzzled for one day. Thanksgiving dinner might provide the perfect opportunity
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The “city” here is seen as the concretization of the ideals of the person who built it. Just as King David’s ideals were concretized in the city of Zion, the focus of the kingdom of Israel, so were the ideals of Bela ben Be’or concretized in Dinhavah.
Pastor John Tolle (18 Nov 18): Stop and take time. We’re too busy. People take time. Call me and I’ll take you to lunch, but I also want time with unbelievers. Be willing to wait, because I’m busy.
Rabbi Yitzchak Luria: It thus follows that this king, in the realm of severe judgment, is the opposite of holy chesed, whose purpose is to affect the coupling of the groom and the bride and thereby extend the supernal light to her via yesod. This [king, in contrast,] comes to channel the light for himself, and prevent her from receiving it.
Numbers 24: 17 “I see him, but not now;
I behold him, but not near.
A star will come out of Jacob;
a scepter will rise out of Israel.
He will crush the foreheads of Moab,
the skulls of all the people of Sheth.
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): This morning Boz sent a newsletter saying they are currently investigating thirty cases of abuses in the Church. Another part of me “died” as I read and remembered that I had sent him something months ago and never heard anything back. Was I not believed? Was my word not valued enough to consider responding to?
Rabbi Yitzchak Luria: This [evil] chesed of Zeir Anpin [therefore] died, since it lacked a mate, inasmuch as they had not yet coupled. Therefore, the word “Chusham” in the Torah – which describes the male dynamic – is written without a vav, alluding to the female, the lack of whose presence caused this chesed to die. In contrast, the word “Chusham” in the Book of Chronicles is written with a vav, in order to indicate that for lack of the male this chesed of Nukva of Zeir Anpin died.
Rick Joyner: First, as expansive as the Revelation given to John is, it is not comprehensive. The most any know, see, or prophesy is “in part.” The stream of revelation shown was specifically a “revelation of Jesus Christ” and the unfolding anti-Christ system that would dominate much of “the times of the Gentiles” until Christ’s ultimate victory over it.
Lana Vawser: The Lord spoke again:
“My writings will be KEY to bringing in the harvest! My writings will speak!”
Brat (21 Nov 18): Normally I do not make it a habit of sending an entire chapter of scripture to another party, but as I was slowly reading it this morning, there was so much truth and depth to it, and I was caught by how it spoke to exactly what you were talking about, that I felt I should say something back to show that I hear and understand you. But since Peter [in 2 Peter 2] does a better job of saying it than I can, I am sending his words and letting the Holy Spirit speak through the scriptures.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: The “masters of groaning and moaning” are the “kings” of chesed and gevura (which we will discuss further on). They join with daat since daat comprises the twin modes of relation, chesed (attraction) and gevura (repulsion) and regulates them.
Breaking Israel News: A Pastor and a Rabbi Give Thanks for the Ties that Bind Us and Today’s Top Stories
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Possibly [the explanation is] that this [evil] chesed issued only as an expression of its malchut, thereby expressing the feminine principle. Therefore, “Chusham” is written [in the Torah] without a vav, which indicates the male principle. In the Book of Chronicles, “Chusham” is written with a vav… (the rest of this thought is missing in the manuscript) .
Lana Vawser: There is going to be MAJOR increases of influence and impact on His writings through His writers in this new era. There will be an increase of “BEST SELLERS” of His writings on the SHELVES OF THE WORLD that will change, impact and influence secular society and bring people to the goodness, revelation, love and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): Sure, I had tons of arc speak fodder from the rabbis, but what good would it do to create another piece that would sit in my blog like a figurine collecting dust on a shelf? Nice words? Entertainment for the Hollywood crowd? More straw for the Funny Bunnies to rummage through to find the needle in the haystack with which to poke me again? And then run away in yet another game of “IF you can discern the enemy THEN he must repay you ten-fold!”
Lana Vawser: As I watched all this take place I heard the Lord say:
“Writers, take heart, you are breaking new ground in your writing”
Brat: My manuscripts stay buried even as Balaam’s donkey rebukes Lana Vawser for poking with the needle she must have found in my haystack.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: We are taught that G d becomes angry with the world for one moment each day. (Psalms 30:6) The Sages say that Balaam’s main prophetic talent was that he always knew this one, precise moment of each day, (Sanhedrin 105b) and could channel this energy to curse whomever he wished. He thus represents evil knowledge, the sensitivity to what is wrong with the world, the quality of being judgmental. Of course, a certain amount of this quality is necessary for us to objectively evaluate our progress in life and improve our behavior (and this is why G d allows Himself to be judgmental for a split second every day), but focusing exclusively on this quality, as did Balaam, is evil.
Rick Joyner: There are so many other biblical prophecies about the exile of the Jews from their Promised Land and then their restoration to it that there was no need to be redundant about this in Revelation. Even so, one would think there would at least be a mention of it, so we do want to understand why it was left out, but first let’s discuss how important Israel is in the prophecy of these times.
Susanna Kearsley: “Second chances, I thought, as my gaze shifted slightly to Hector, the dog who’d been branded useless but rescued because one man firmly believed that life shouldn’t be cast aside. And although I had never seen Calum MacCrae, much less met him, I suddenly very much wanted to see his works knocked off the bestseller lists by this new book of Alistair Scott’s.” (A Desperate Fortune (2015), p 24)
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): Lord, I pray and ask for a benefactor like this character Alistair Scott; one who sees the value in the story behind the story. Me, with the eye of the outsider and the voice of the prophet. The prophet who challenged the tale of the privileged. May my writings be deemed worth preserving. And may someone have the courage to step up to do it while I am still alive.
Hanna Perlberger: Whatever the nature of a conflict, it is not the objective facts that drive it, but our thoughts that create the story around it.
Pastor John Tolle (18 Nov 18): King Jehoshaphat was caught off guard.
Numbers 24: 18 Edom will be conquered;
Seir, his enemy, will be conquered,
but Israel will grow strong.
Moshe Yaakov Wisnefsky: Daat is tolerance, the ability to see the validity in other points of view, to compare and weigh the merits of chesed and gevura within any entity. There are situations where tolerance is appropriate and situations where it is not. As long as the discussion is abstract, tolerance is acceptable and even laudible, since it enables us to examine all points of a topic objectively and thereby arrive at the truth. But once the truth has been arrived at, i.e. once it has become clear how exactly to accomplish G d’s purpose in this world, tolerance is no longer a positive force; we must become intolerant of anything that opposes this.
Revelation 2:20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
Brat: Directly confronting abuses has proven futile, but that does not mean I am tolerant of it.
Pastor John Tolle (18 Nov 18): Give money if you know it’ll be used rightly. In tragedy, God’s kingdom can bring the best news, but it’s not the soundbites. It’s the heart.
Brat (in “Tunnel Vision” 21 Nov 18): I’d confronted the idols and challenged all the arguments and still I was fighting for my life. All I could do was stand.
Ephesians 6: 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Chabad.org: What better answer can there be to those who want us to disappear? Taking a cue from the Maccabees, we will stand together, our proud presence declaring that with G d’s help, the Jewish nation is here today, tomorrow, and forever.
Lana Vawser: Some of you have had the greatest battles of your life over your writings but that is because of the INCREASE of the breaker anointing upon the writings and the FAVOUR that He is releasing and going to release.
Brat (21 Nov 18): May God help us to bring closure to these open wounds. Amen.
Lana Vawser: The Lord spoke again:
“My writings through My writers upon the earth right now, those that are writing My heart and from the pure flow of My Spirit and those writings to come have an increase of the nations mandate and anointing upon them to bring healing to the nations.”
Chabad.org: Heard of Jewish mindfulness?!
This is your wake-up call.
Brat: [Sigh.] It’s a stress-reduction class.
Numbers 24: 19 A ruler will come out of Jacob
and destroy the survivors of the city.”
Rick Joyner: Restored Israel is one of the major signs marking the end of the age. Israel is a spiritual barometer of humanity and a prophetic clock. Restored Israel is also a basic piece of The Lord’s strategy for restoring the earth and mankind. The entire Bible, with the exception of just six chapters, is about restoration—the restoring of the earth and mankind from all the consequences of the fall. The only chapters in The Bible that are not about this are the first three and the last three. The first three lead up to the fall, and the last three conclude with the complete recovery from the fall. Understanding what has happened, what is yet to happen, and where we are now in this saga is crucial to understanding the times.
Brat: The Lord sent ambushes and the enemies destroyed each other. (2 Chr 20:22-23) Well, Webmaster, it would seem that we are both witnesses to the ambush, just as God said He would do!
